I don't know if the viewers are just being mega picky with this drama but there have been several other little "controversies" before this involving the cast wearing black outfits while training in the snow (the caps were running around message boards under the title "We will commit suicide for the safety of our nation!!!" lol), the use of a black BB guns for the gun scenes, and now this... all of which the producers have been responding to.

Netizens were apparently nitpicking at Lee Da Hae's make up for being too heavy during training, saying it's unrealistic.

The PD responded, "We are always discussing Lee Da Hae's hair and make up. From the perspective of the producers, we don't think it's that bad but it seems we will have to make another decision. We understand that although male viewers won't notice the difference, that it is a sensitive issue for our female viewers. The producers and our cast are all working hard to accommodate your opinions."

1. [+914, -48] If she wants to call herself an actress, she needs to learn to just let go... How can she be acting and not let her face make any fine lines.. on top of that, her make up is like bridal make up..

It's just that all she cares about is looking pretty on camera ㅠㅠ She doesn't care at all about expressing her character but rather how she can look pretty to the viewers on the screen.. She's pretty enough as it is, no need to be so obsessed over it.

4. [+141, -4] What disappoints me more is not Lee Da Hae's obsession with looking pretty but the way none of her facial muscles move because of her excessive plastic surgery. Even when she talks, her entire face just looks frozen and awkward, and you can notice all the surgery scarring when the camera makes a close up. Her styling is all wrong, too.. She's in the middle of training but her hair style looks more like it belongs on an actress at an award ceremony... Truly a miscast character. Should've just tied it back like Kim Tae Hee in season one..

5. [+113, -8] I remember even when she was in Chuno, she was under controversy for having an excessively clean face when she's just a runaway slave... I guess she really hates letting herself go. I'm curious about her real personality now... I feel like she'd yell at her stylist, "Dammit, don't put that kind of crap on my face!!!!!!!!!"
