IVE fans disgruntled with Liz's lack of parts in 'Kitsch'

Video: IVE's new song 'Kitsch' accused of being biased against a certain member

1. [+411] Instead of giving Gaeul more parts, it's better that Liz gets more. Gaeul getting the killing part on top of her rap lines add up to a lot whereas Liz is the main vocal with strong skills so she deserves more.

2. [+254] As a Liz bias, she's been given way too few parts. Same goes for the other members.

3. [+250] Even if it's not their title track, giving the main vocal only five seconds is too little, no? ㅠ The song's a great fit for the other vocals but some of the parts should've been distributed to Liz for better balance.

4. [+142] Liz looked so good in the music video ㅠㅠ she's a great singer, too, so it's a problem that she's been given so little

5. [+95] Liz is IVE's main vocal but only has five seconds' worth of parts 😢😢 It actually felt like they left her parts out. There are parts of the dance where the members stand center even when it's not their part like Rei but she didn't even get one of those? And barely any scenes during the harmonies... And she's in the corner during group shots. Liz is so talented and has great visuals, I wish they'd give her more parts.

6. [+57] Wait, out of all those parts, she was only given five seconds? How can they be so shameless? They know that fans are watching... how can you be so blatant with the favoring? And I'm pretty sure fans were angry the last time the parts were this imbalanced but they made it even worse...

7. [+56] Please give Liz more parts;; I joined the fandom because of Liz

8. [+43] For real... only five seconds for Liz... I could barely remember Liz's part when I saw the music video for the first time. I know fans are saying she'll probably have more parts for the title track but come on, Starship ㅠㅠ

9. [+175] Give Liz more parts ㅠㅠ she's the main vocal ㅠㅠ

10. [+573] Even if she wasn't the main vocal, only five seconds is too little for anyone

11. [+19] I have trust in the title track... let's go, Liz, fighting

12. [+10] I thought Gaeul's eight seconds in 'Love Dive' was too little... but now the main vocal is only getting five seconds? It's like Starship isn't even bothering with listening to the fans... They got so much hate last time for it but they still won't fix it.

13. [+21] I mean ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I'm not even a fan and I admit five seconds is too little... why not just a little more ㅠㅠㅠ

14. [+8] It's sad but understandable for me because the way a celebrity looks is important to the public. Your looks matter a lot in this line of work... singing and dancing are important but for an idol, their looks are also a big factor. Liz did gain a bit of weight... and if you give her more parts, she's going to need longer scenes in the music video, and perhaps her agency is finding it more difficult to hide her weight gain. You can tell starting with 'After Like' that they've been trying to get her to look slimmer on camera by recording her from the top or far away... Fans have been saying Liz has more parts in other songs than this one which makes me think that her company is giving her less parts in songs with music videos so that her weight gain is less noticeable.
- For real, I wish she'd lose weight next time. She was legendary when she debuted, I fell for her beauty so hard ㅠㅠ
- For real... as a Liz and IVE fan ㅠ I want to tell her that it's noth her fault but she chose the job that she did so it can't be helped... I'm sorry we couldn't protect you... and that I'll be supporting you no matter what, even if you aren't able to get your weight down to before.. ㅠㅠ

15. [+11] An idol needs to learn to take care of themselves. Everyone in IVE has managed to take care of their looks but perhaps this is a form of pressure Starship is putting on Liz since she's the only one who isn't? Maybe they asked her to lose weight and she said no so they're just cutting her parts back? Oh My Girl said in their interview that they're constantly managing their weights and that their company manages it as well because they're idols where looks matter. It doesn't matter how talented you are if CF companies don't want you because you've gained weight... It's just reality.
