1. [+1,005, -220] I'm grateful for that he's done in spreading K-Food, but with all of the scandals surrounding his channel from the birthday scandal during COVID to the taxes... and one of the students on his channel getting into a scandal with a Korean woman.. there have been a lot of problems that led me to stop watching. He also promotes K-Food to make money for himself at the end of the day... I'm aware that he has another channel aimed at promoting food from other ocuntries but it doesn't get the same clicks that his K-Food content gets, maybe because his wife can't cook food from those cultures?? I enjoyed watching at first but it's been disappointment after disappointment ever since.

2. [+481, -17] I'm a subscriber of his channel myself but sometimes I think people get way too carried away with thinking that Korean food is more popular than it is worldwide...

3. [+325, -43] He totally targeted his audience right. He knows that Korean peoiple will go crazy over anything a white man puts out ㅋ Imagine if Englishman did this kind of content in England ㅋ he wouldn't have even garnered 10k subscribers~~ Koreans only watch his channel because he's a white man ㅋ

4. [+169, -11] I find the Korean obsession too cringe and weird, I haven't watched his videos in a while

5. [+33, -3] The thing about these YouTubers like Englishman, Oliver-ssaem, Awesome Korea: they get a ton of views if they praise Korea because Koreans love that stuff ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ they know that it's easy money for them to make content about Korea so they immediately jump in, make money, and get out ㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+38, -10] He puts out high quality content that easily rivals anything put out by major TV channels. He promotes everything good about Korean culture and is fostering a positive image of our country. I will continue to support him.

7. [+26, -3] He's so fake, just cares about using Korean culture to make money for himself... I unsubscribed when they put out that statement with the English kid's scandal with a Korean woman claiming that the Korean woman groomed him and that the English kid is the victim. I know that more scandals will come at them in the future that will bury them. They're so selfish to use KOreans to make money off of but will turn around and blame you when one of their own does something wrong.

8. [+19, -1] I unsubscribed when I found out that Englishman was friends with Jung Jun Young

9. [+22, -5] I wouldn't really blame him for siphoning off of KOrean content. He started his channel back before the Korean wave was even beginning. His wife is also Korean. I find his channel much better than those channels who keep spreading misinformation about Korea while acting like they know everything about our country. It's not like he's harming anyone by making money off of K-Content. It's a good thing that he's producing positive content and leading the rest.

10. [+23, -7] I find channels like his that naturally promote our culture and food much easier to digest than forced content put out by our government ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I don't care how obsessive or prideful people get about our stuff, as long as they don't distort our history or make up lies, there's no reason to criticize his channel.

11. [+12, -1] Could you ask for a better foreigner than him? He spreads so much positivity about our culture when he's not even Korean himself.

12. [+11, -2] To all his haters, have you even watched his channel from the beginning? He started back when there was no such thing as K-Food or K-Pop. He had no support from companies or our government. He worked long and hard to build his channel to where he is. He easily could've chosen to go into Chinese food content instead and would've probably been given much more support from the Chinese government to help promote their culture. It would've probably been easier for him to get subscribers too since their population outnumbers us. Still, he stuck with us because he loves Korean food, and I don't get why people have such an issue with him.

13. [+10, -2] I'm surprised his channel never flops

14. [+9, -1] I find Englishman enjoyable and entertaining but sometimes his "Korea's the best" attitude gets too cringe to watch

15. [+12, -6] Whatever the case, it's because of people like Josh that K-Food got as big as it has, and that can't be denied. He's done more for our country than 10 of our foreign ministers, and haters are just jealous of his success~

16. [+5, -0] Canned kimchi is a novel concept... but if we're thinking in terms of freshness and economic value, pouched kimchi is way better...

17. [+6, -2] I'm a viewer as well and understand that you're bound to run into trouble when so many different people are involved... but as far as I'm aware, no one directly involved with his channel have caused any of the scandals. I personally find his channel enjoyable.

18. [+4, -0] We've always had canned kimchi, though

19. [+4, -0] I'm a bit curious... when will Koreans develop a culture where we're more supportive and understanding of people who make mistakes???

20. [+6, -3] I find the comments that are mad about him making money off of our culture to be funny ㅋㅋㅋㅋ So yeah, he made money off of our food, so what? He's been making money off of mainly an English and foreigner audience while introducing our country's food worldwide. Why are you so mad about that ㅋㅋㅋ unless the haters in here are people who tried to copy his content on YouTube and failed? ㅋㅋ
