Do CF companies actually run a risk with celebrities and scandals?

Article: The risk of celebrities in advertising... cutting off Dominos after eating it for Kim Sun Ho

Source: Korea Economy via Nate

1. [+1,340, -125] Dominos should've just gone with Park Seo Joon, fools

2. [+1,014, -63] He really lost it all at once

3. [+936, -61] Why not just enjoy Dominos for what it is... how many people actually order from brands because of a celebrity?

4. [+125, -133] I feel like people are holding celebrities to way harsher standards and witch hunting them for it. Yes, he committed a wrong, which he has admitted to and apologized for. The apology was accepted by the victim in question. There doesn't seem to be any further issue needed. People make mistakes. More than anything, we never listened to both sides of the story so we don't even know the truth of it all. This witch hunt seems to be crossing a line.

5. [+122, -5] Sigh, celebrities all know when they sign the contracts that there are specific clauses that prohibit them from causing scandals and they're paid big money to adhere to it. He should've managed his private life better.

6. [+114, -83] His image was just too kind ㅋㅋㅋ fact is that he's rotten at the roots

7. [+95, -49] I find the woman just as problematic. People are being way too one-sided in all of this to kill Kim Sun Ho and everyone needs to stop with the witch hunt. You're really going to kill him at this rate. I really think the woman did all this for money.

8. [+92, -39] Don't most couples get into nasty fights before break up? It's not like all break ups end amicably. I'd be scared too if someone I was dating for 3-4 months after her divorce suddenly got pregnant. He then dated her for 9 more months. He did something wrong but I think it's also wrong to blame only him in all of this. Meanwhile, she's threatening lawsuits over her identity being exposed when his career's been ruined.

9. [+71, -18] I really don't think there's any celebrity whose personality is the same on camera and off. Why do we hold our celebrities to such high standards but are so lenient with our politicians? ㅋㅋㅋ

10. [+68, -31] Just reaping what you sow~~~~

11. [+63, -33] I just don't get why he should be exiled over being in a relationship that caused an accidental pregnancy, which they chose to ab*rt because they weren't ready, and continued to date afterward. I feel so bad for Kim Sun Ho.

12. [+48, -12] He's totally being exiled

13. [+46, -20] Kim Sun Ho has broken no laws and yet the vibe around his scandal is basically as if he's committed a s*x crime

14. [+37, -6] Kim Sun Ho feels foolish to me. It's so hard to make it big as a celebrity... He already had everything from the looks to the acting skills, all he had to do was keep his private life clean and he could've raked in all the money and real estate. He kicked that opportunity away, tsk tsk tsk.

15. [+35, -14] She's an adult. Both sides should take responsibility for what happened. There is no fool who ab*rts her own baby because a man told her to. If she wanted it, she would've had it. She obviously didn't have her heart in it which is why she didn't go through with it either. Kim Sun Ho is in the wrong as well. Should've held off if he wasn't ready for commitment or paid a pr*stitute if he wanted to do it so badly. There is also an importance in being considerate to your partner in break ups. If he was more considerate of her, none of this would've happened. They are both at fault in my eyes!!

16. [+35, -43] I don't want to eat Dominos anymore because I keep thinking of the scandal

17. [+31, -0] Celebrities are paid way too much for so little

18. [+29, -10] Kim Sun Ho has admitted to what he needs to and is staying quiet. I don't get why fans and haters alike are blowing this way out of proportion. Kim Sun Ho is in the wrong but so is the woman. It's a problem between the two of them, and yet third parties are creating a bigger ruckus out of it. Just leave it be.

19. [+28, -9] "Celebrities are being held to standards that are too high"? It's because celebrities live off of the popularity they earn from the public. They're not like the rest of us. They should not be held to the standards that we are. If they don't like it, then they can quit and go get another job. You don't get to make money off of the public and fail to uphold an image as a public figure.

20. [+27, -2] Dominos is delicious even without the need for celebrity advertisement so please stop using celebrities and cut the costs of the prices of the pizzas. They'll sell more, I swear.
