Article: Korean American told to "go back to Wuhan"

1. [+105, -8] I don't want such discrimination happening to gyopos. So ignorant...

2. [+77, -6] I mean, why do they assume all Asians are Chinese? That's so narrow-minded, especially coming from an American in a country that has not only spread the virus further and wider but even refused to take personal preventative measures. Why should Koreans have to be treated like we're Chinese? Even Koreans have stopped assuming that all white people are Americans 30 years ago. There are so many Asians living in the States, from Koreans to Japanese to Taiwanese to Thai to Vietnamese... Let's please not normalize treating all Asians like they're Chinese.

3. [+34, -6] He's crazy. America better return all the masks and sanitizers we sent over. People like him don't deserve it.

4. [+4, -1] People act like Asians are such an easy target. Discriminated against by both black and white people. They fight racism against each other but then act like racism against Asians is totally normal.

5. [+2, -0] Did she not tell him that she's Korean?

6. [+1, -0] You end up like this guy if you don't educate yourself, doesn't matter how rich you are

7. [+1, -0] Where's her mask??? And did they tell him that they're Korean American?? That they're not Chinese?

8. [+1, -0] Well she's not wearing a mask, no wonder the American criticized her. Even the white guy is wearing a mask.

9. [+1, -0] K-Drama, K-Pop worked so hard to bring up Asia's image in the west but China is fostering anti-Asian sentiment around the world. I think we really need to show that China has a different culture from ours and differentiate ourselves from them. It's unfair that we have to suffer because of China.

10. [+1, -0] So annoying that Koreans have to deal with this because of Wuhan. Eastern Asians look the same too so it's not like we can expect them to differentiate whether we're Korean, Chinese, or Japanese.
