1. [+3,443, -224] Criminals are selfish until the end. They never once consider how the victims will feel, they just care about escaping all their problems with death. There have been so many instances where victims were 'murdered' after being sexually assaulted, how can we feel bad for an instance of the attacker committing 'suicide' after committing sexual assault?
2. [+2,993, -166] Just because he died doesn't mean what he did never happened. We should be thinking of the victims who had to live suffocating lives all this time first.
3. [+2,845, -182] So suicide makes it all go away??? He was a hopeless being... how could he feel bad for his own daughter after using so many other daughters as nothing but a toy for his own sexual needs?
4. [+117, -16] He ruined the lives of dozens. The pain he felt is nothing compared to the pain his victims have felt their whole lives, all on their own.
5. [+111, -13] Everyone now knows what the true end of committing sexual assault is, just look at the demise of Jo Min Ki. So please don't do anything like he did. That's all there is to it.
6. [+111, -14] The fact that he committed suicide makes me hate him more. Not only will he not get to rest in peace but he will now face his punishments in hell. His suicide letter was a mess... since when did telling a woman "I'm so hard right now" become a way to help students feel more relaxed around you because you're a strict professor? Did he think we'd feel bad for him if he died? So irresponsible, he's the worst.
7. [+107, -3] We have to continue the #metoo movement to get rid of men like Kim Ki Duk. There are thousands of men like him who are shaking in fear right now and it's up to us to stop them so that their victims can at least begin to be compensated for their trauma.
8. [+85, -8] Why would the movement die down? There are so many people still in pain and suffering, still too scared to come forward with their own stories... the movement must go on.
9. [+78, -6] The movement cannot die... we have to get to the roots.
10. [+73, -3] Why are people making the victims out to be the reason why he died? Would people be talking differently if one of the victims had killed herself first? He's a criminal, plain and simple.
11. [+65, -2] Let's be real, he'd still be running around sexually harassing women if not for this movement ㅡㅡ he only died because he was embarrassed of what he did, don't blame anyone else for his death.
12. [+56, -7] Why are his victims being asked to take the blame for his own suicide?
