1. [+1,314, -16] What is this so randomly????? I'm definitely sure his family is more shocked over the false reporting of news

2. [+1,279, -18] Apparently the attempt was after he received an award after placing #1 at the recruit training center??????

3. [+1,198, -44] He's got a girlfriend and he's at the height of his popularity, why would he attempt suicide?

4. [+61, -0] Maybe they made him do something mortifying... like do his boy group dances or sing in his underwear and not let him sleep if he gets it wrong. There's a ton of hush hush rumors about the hazing that goes on in the army. I really hope they investigate this thoroughly.

5. [+58, -6] Sue the journalist that released the initial report, ugh how frustrating

6. [+50, -0] People really don't know how scary a blocked off society like the army can be. It's so easy for people to rush you into a corner and make you look like the weird guy.

7. [+48, -0] In case by chance any of this is real, please don't die, Lee Joon-ssi. You have so much left ahead of you. Just hold it in and keep living. You have a ton of great things left to achieve in life, I swear.

8. [+46, -2] Ah... I was so surprised ㅠㅠ I'm nobody to him and my heart still dropped when I heard the news, can't imagine what his family's going through right now. Can't there be some law that prohibits the news from releasing unconfirmed rumors??

9. [+43, -0] The army's a place where you can turn a normal man into a fool if you wanted to

10. [+28, -0] But would there be smoke without fire? I feel like there's something there

11. [+27, -1] People are so simple... now break this down with me and let's see which has a higher chance of being more likely:
1. The journalist actually wrote up a completely unfounded, made up story
2. Lee Joon actually went through some difficulties and made a suicide attempt but his agency doesn't see him as a human being but a product they need to sell more of so they spin it in the media as being false and his family is in denial since he always seemed like a happy kid.
Think about it, did anybody think what happened to Jonghyun would ever happen? So what if he's rich? So what if he has a girlfriend? Do you guys never get into fights with your lovers? Are things always just rosy for you? Maybe his army seniors kept abusing him, telling him to sing and dance for them, just to knock around the idol they got as a junior. Like Jonghyun, everyone just assumes that Lee Joon's that bright, energetic person but no one knows anything about what's going on inside that head than himself.

12. [+26, -2] I remember a long time ago, there was an article about how he attempted suicide, showed his wrist, and was sent to the green camp. His agency denied it at the time. So who ratted him out this time?

13. [+22, -3] No way would a journalist be psycho enough to release an article like that of smoke without fire. Agencies always deny it at first but I bet something did happen.

14. [+20, -2] Lee Joon would never do something like that

15. [+24, -3] There's no smoke without fire

1. [+10,915, -113] Pathetic journalist... tsk tsk

2. [+9,061, -106] Honestly with the haphazard way journalists are reporting the news with the nonchalant attitude of "great if it's true, sucks if it isn't", they're basically toying with lives at the stroke of their pens. Can they please be more serious with their jobs? Please write news as if your lives are on the line.

3. [+8,879, -97] Why can't journalists check with agencies first and wait before releasing news like that? Suicide attempts aren't something to gossip about

4. [+7,980, -75] This isn't something his agency should let go... they should sue

5. [+5,935, -126] As a fan, it still makes me nervous until I see Lee Joon deny it himself with the bright image he's always been known for ㅠㅠ
