JYP's stock sees tremendous growth for the year, YG less so

Article: Good and bad news for the stock wealthy stars... Park Jin Young up 44.9 billion won, Yang Hyun Suk down 1.5 billion won

1. [+414, -41] Wow~ whoa~ Park beat out Yang, congratulations. He must be happy.

2. [+397, -66] YG doesn't really have a game plan for what they're going to do after Big Bang, honestly. And the Big Bang today isn't what they used to be... They may still be popular overseas but there wasn't much of a reaction in Korea about their concert last month. Hallyu and all that stuff is only as good as how popular you are in Korea... wavering popularity in Korea eventually means an end to your popularity overseas too. Big Bang is already on the decline with their various scandals and being away for 2 years for army service pretty much marks their end. Doesn't seem like YG has a plan for what they're going to do either, and they don't have a lot of trainees... What's worse is that their trainees are being beat out by JYP and SM's trainees on variety shows. Their actors are in the reds... I'm surprised their stock didn't drop more than just 1.5 billion won...

4. [+37, -7] One thing's for sure, Park Jin Young cares more about a person's character than their talent... I wish them more success than that druggie hole~

Big Bang was their best and 2NE1 did a lot for them... one team's disbanded, the other's dispersing... their trainees seem way behind even smaller agencies... YG spent too much time with all their eggs in one basket and not enough time cultivating good trainees or setting up a game plan tsk

9. [+14, -3] For girl groups, it's so important for them to have that 'dongsaeng next door' image. Black Pink is pretty and talented but... they're a bit too cool and chic, they seem unapproachable. Their style is over the top too... just decked out in luxury brands all the time (to the point where their nickname is human Gucci). Their songs have been successful and their image is great but I don't see them getting any more popular with the general public.

10. [+10, -0] Twice really is doing their best yet. They're strong digitally which is hard to accomplish unless you're genuinely popular with the public. All the girl groups combined can't beat Twice in album sales which means their fandom is just as strong too. Of course, there's also something else that they're the best in, and it's their inability to sing live.

11. [+8, -0] JYP is really feeling the Twice effect, the result of working them super hard all year ㅋ
