[Pann] Korean fans defend Wanna One Jaehwan's racist slur controversy

Pann: The reason Kim Jaehwan is getting hate from foreigners right now ㅋㅋ super ridic

"Kim Jaehwan was on some show and said 'hey nae ga wassup (I'm here)' but foreigners misunderstood him as saying 'hey ni ggar wassup' and are super hating on him ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Koreans are trying to explain that he was speaking Korean, not English, but they're all closing their ears like 'we can't hear youuuu' ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ and some foreigners are even going as far as to say that even if he was speaking Korean, it's his fault for making it sound like 'niggar' ㅋㅋ why should he be afraid to speak his own language? Some foreigners seem to think English is the only language that exists in the world. Attached is a link to some journalist that started spreading this rumor and started this whole controversy."

1. [+193, -2] Am I the only one frustrated by foreign fans? "Unni~ English please~ I don't know Korean" ㅋㅋㅋ if you're going to fangirl Korean idols, at least try to learn Korean

2. [+114, -0] Wow, this is unfair

3. [+93, -5] I just feel bad for all of Wanna One, seems like people are looking for any reason to hate them

4. [+47, -0] The thing about this that pisses me off is that when we explained in English to those foreigner trash, they responded with 'shut up' and then went to bed ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+44, -0] Why should a Korean apologize for speaking Korean? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

6. [+24, -0] Ugh I hate foreigner trash ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ always spamming "English please" and if you tell them to stop, they swear at you and leave ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

7. [+23, -0] It's not the first time a Korean star has gotten into controversy for the pronunciation of 'nae ga' and 'ni ga'... I don't think this is something we should just sit down and take. Every country has its own language and it's unfair that we have to explain ourselves every time a pronunciation misunderstanding happens like this.

8. [+22, -0] So should Koreans not be allowed to use their own language 'nae ga' or 'ni ga' just because it sounds similar to that racist word? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Ridiculous. They need to learn that the world doesn't revolve around them.

9. [+20, -0] The b*tch who started this entire controversy said that she's been learning Korean for 5 years so she's well aware of it. F*ck, I've been using Korean as my native language for 25 years so why does she think she's more right than I am? Ugh

10. [+17, -0] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The fact that we have to explain ourselves at all is the most ridiculous part

11. [+14, -0] It's so stupid that a Korean person born in Korean who has been speaking Korean for 22 years of his life is now being labeled a racist for speaking Korean and foreigners misinterpreting that under their own English standards

12. [+13, -0] Foreign fans are really no help at all to fandoms ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ whenever a scandal happens and the star needs to be criticized, they spam their Instagrams with "fighting" "we support you" and push down all the constructive criticism comments ㅋㅋㅋ always spamming "English please", "English version please"... and now they're causing this entire mess with a Korean just for speaking Korean... ugh, I'd be too embarrassed to even be keeping this article up
