Jaden Smith expresses interest in releasing a K-Pop single this year

Article: Will Smith's son Jaden to make Korean debut? Declares he will release K-Pop single in four months

1. [+325, -15] The only thing he has going for him is that his father is Will Smith

2. [+283, -23] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Why can't he just promote in America with an English song? Why release a song in a language he doesn't even know? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I thought he was cute when he was young but I guess he's all grown up now ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

3. [+119, -2] Probably a collaboration, right? Sounds more like he's collaborating with a singer from a big company like SM

4. [+79, -3] The golden spoon

5. [+21, -1] He's sort of giving me the American version of Kim Gura's son feels

6. [+15, -2] No point if he can't speak Korean

7. [+15, -3] Why are people telling him to stay in America? I remember often seeing articles about him being really into K-Pop. Just because he's American doesn't mean he should be restricted to the American market. K-Pop is Korean so why wouldn't he want to come to promote in Korea? It's like being a chef of Japanese, Chinese, or French cuisine and wanting to travel to that country to get a real taste of the country's food

8. [+10, -2] Korea isn't some easy country for success. All of the K-Pop stars you see who are successful now have spent years rotting away and training and overcoming horrible conditions to get to where they are now. It's not the type of industry that you can just jump into and expect success because you want it. The only interest you're going to get is for your father's name here.

1. [+217, -4] But can he even speak a bit of Korean?

2. [+158, -3] Someone stop him...

3. [+130, -3] I'll give it to him if he's able to release a song singing in Korean

4. [+19, -0] Why are people being so mean... There's nothing wrong with a famous foreigner wanting to get into K-Pop because he likes it

5. [+10, -0] But then again, anyone can be a singer in Korea as long as you can dance well
