[Pann] Girlfriend's agency has the potential to become big?
Pann: Isn't Girlfriend's agency good at their jobs?
"They're probably the best at their jobs out of the current agencies. They debuted Girlfriend with noise marketing over that plagiarism issue, got them good songs, got them tons of media play (featured on the main page before they were even famous), got them on variety shows (they got on shows like Running Man, Radio Star, music video featurings as rookies, etc).
There are also tons of pretty and talented singers out there but Girlfriend is neither of them. Seems like they're going the SISTAR route where their digital score + public recognition is more important than a strong fandom. They don't even have a member as pretty as Dasom or vocally talented as Hyorin but their agency makes up for it all. Once Girlfriend gets more famous and their agency puts out another group, they definitely seem to be on the rise as a big agency."

1. [+64, -5] Yup, they're super good at their jobs. One of the biggest reasons Girlfriend has even come this far is because their agency has been working hard so far.
2. [+64, -4] They pick good songs and their agency is just super good at media play and getting them on shows.
3. [+63, -6] No wonder their fans are totally in love with their agency, their fans are always praising the CEO
4. [+25, -0] I heard from my trainee friend in Loen (Yoojoo and Eunha used to be Loen trainees) that Girlfriend's CEO was Shinhwa's manager for their 3rd and 4th albums at the height of their fame and was also the leader in planning SNSD and f(x). After he left SM, he created the group GLAM which failed and then just went all in on planning Girlfriend. Considering all of the connections the CEO has, I'd say their agency got a good head start in terms of networking. Girlfriend also treats their seniors and juniors with respect so the PDs are good to them. Haha even asked for them on 'Running Man' and the Lee Seung Hwan music video featuring wasn't the agency getting them the spot but Lee Seung Hwan casting them. They're certainly doing well, and it doesn't hurt that they have good songs too.
5. [+19, -2] Well their CEO has been working in the industry for a while, he has tons of connections..
6. [+17, -11] They did tons of noise marketing with their plagiarism scandal and media played about being the second SNSD. Without any of that, 'Me Gustas Tu' would've quietly been buried.
7. [+14, -0] Their agency is definitely doing a good job. Barely a year into their debut and they're doing public broadcast drama OST duets with Loco, on all the variety shows, had Sunny MC for their showcase. Sure their debut track was controversial but it wasn't plagiarized. The noise marketing was a success. As a fan of another group that's in a small agency like that, I'm jealous of Girlfriend's agency.
8. [+11, -5] Yeah they're good but they're still knock off SNSD
9. [+10, -0] I wish Cube would learn from the, ugh
10. [+6, -0] Girlfriend really does need to be good to their agency. I don't know if they just lucked out but look at all these opportunities they're getting so soon after their debut.. singing OSTs, public broadcast varieties... amazing considering how small their agency is.
