Danwon High School is facing issues with figuring out what to do with the classrooms of the victims as a new freshman class prepares to enter high school. Some are demanding that the classrooms be preserved as a memorial or at least create a separate memorial room, which won't be possible in the time they have until the new school year.

1. [+1,190, -215] It's really unfortunate that such young friends had to die in an accident like that but... is all of this necessary? The country has already compensated for their deaths with money... why are these kids being treated like they were freedom fighters? You can't turn the school into a memorial museum... why insist on preserving the classrooms?

2. [+1,089, -141] Even when our own parents away, we clean out their rooms after the funeral is over. Enough with this... if they're going to keep the classrooms empty, just close down the school altogether. Why should the new class be forced to study in a shrine?

3. [+1,065, -58] It's upsetting if you think about the victims but it's time that they shared the space with their future incoming juniors

4. [+92, -68] Enough's enough, isn't it? They preserved the space for two years, let the incoming class make use of it now. They can open a memorial elsewhere.

5. [+74, -15] How can parents demand that the classrooms be preserved empty like that? They should take the compensation money they received and make their own memorial elsewhere. The country has done so much for the survivors of the accident by sending them to good colleges and supporting their tuition financially.

6. [+49, -36] Like the best replies say, it's an unfortunate situation all around but the living must continue living! Are they going to be responsible if the school gets less students wanting to attend because of them? A school is no place for entire rooms of memorials to b held in. Think of the children for once. Acting like this won't make your dead child come back to life.

7. [+44, -29] The parents really want to keep all 10 classrooms preserved as a memorial.........? Might as well just tear down the school and start fresh with a new name.

8. [+34, -24] How can they demand that the school preserve 10 classrooms? Just turn the school into a memorial at that point.

9. [+28, -3] Let the living live... clean out the classrooms and open them to the new freshmen. The high school cannot be a memorial museum. Their deaths are unfortunate but you can't let this carry on for so long.

10. [+27, -16] I think the parents need to be more considerate of the school's stance... the kids need a place to study ㅠ..
