[Pann] Failed boy group comebacks?
Pann: Recent comeback that's been a mess of a failure
1. [+269, -25] CNBLUE's real failure ㅋㅋㅋ while FNC's trying so hard to media play themselves as a top 3 agency ㅋㅋ this should be a wake up call for them
2. [+242, -375] B2ST failed considerably as well
3. [+236, -225] Add TEEN TOP, B1A4, VIXXLR, and Got7 to the list
4. [+96, -57] VIXX came out with a unit that disappeared without a word too
5. [+91, -9] Super Junior has unfortunately gotten an image for themselves where people will avoid any song released by them. 'Magic' is a good song that would've all killed the charts if EXO or SHINee sang it but people pass on the song because they see Super Junior.
6. [+85, -7] But SM really didn't promote Super Junior's at all... Jonghyun's solo was just digital releases of songs he's already released (and he's not promoting them) so fans didn't mind too much that SM didn't promote it but for Super Junior ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ I haven't seen it mentioned once on Naver's main page. You can definitely tell SM put more effort into Soshi and Red Velvet's promos.
7. [+80, -8] Why are TEEN TOP, B1A4, INFINITE, and B2ST being mentioned? These groups have already gone through all of the top trends with consistent fandoms that have held their own ground all this time.
8. [+58, -3] B2ST is still up in the rankings... not as high as their other releases but I wouldn't call them failures ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ by that logic, every male group that released something this year other than Big Bang, EXO, and iKON are failures then
9. [+41, -11] By that logic, all male groups failed except for Big Bang, EXO, and iKON then
10. [+37, -3] The digital rankings for male idols this year is Big Bang and iKON. It's unfair to call the rest failures based on rankings alone though.
11. [+33, -0] Plus Junho's solo... f*ck, what is JYP's marketing team even doing?
12. [+32, -5] B2ST is two months into their song releases and they're still on the charts so it's not fail ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
13. [+30, -1] The reason SM doesn't promote SuJu anymore is because SM already knows that SuJu fans are a fixed income for them. The fans they have now are the super loyal ones so whether they promote the album or not, they know that they'll hit a fixed income regardless. You think those fans won't buy Super Junior's album just because SM isn't promoting it? Of course they will. SM would rather take that money and invest it in another boy group. How much more do you think they can milk out of Super Junior by investing 100 in them? They'd rather take that 100 and invest it in the Rookies or EXO to get more bang for their investment.
14. [+28, -6] CNBLUE media played on Naver every single day but they're already losing out to AOA who's song has been out for three months ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
15. [+18, -0] I know everyone thinks their own group doesn't get enough support but Super Junior's situation is really bad. This is their 10th anniversary album but their juniors Soshi had a pre-release song get a TV ad + Naver main page feature + ads on various community boards. What did SuJu get? Some ad that looks like it was made in Paint and put together on Powerpoint ㅠㅠㅠ
