Article talks about how idols were generally perceived to be untalented and how talented ones were rare enough that people used to say he/she was "good for an idol" but times are changed and there are many idols who are proving their talents through shows like 'Mask Best Singer' and Show Me the Money' and it's no longer surprising for an idol to be talented.

1. [+8,241, -371] This is just a small portion of the idols. 90% of the idols still can't sing well enough to compare to normal singers.

2. [+6,182, -560] Don't act if you're an idol

3. [+5,300, -610] Please... stay out of acting... I can't believe all these idols are acting, let alone even doing musicals now...

4. [+4,766, -157] Idols who have proven their talents are few and far in between... don't jot down a few names that have proven their talents and act like all idols are as talented as they are. There are tons of groups where all of the members are rock bottom in terms of talent.

5. [+494, -23] There are still a lot of untalented idols. Only one member can sing out of Girlfriend and Goo Hara's 'Choco Chip Cookie' was horribly daebak.

6. [+421, -29] This is just a portion of the idols. Still so many idols who can't sing or dance. It's because of these untalented members that some of them end up looking more talented than they actually are.

7. [+409, -70] There are a lot of idols who sing well on 'Mask Best Singer'

8. [+295, -21] But it is true that the really talented idols have to struggle with the bias against them for being an idol. That's why shows like 'Mask Best Singer' are so good!

9. [+299, -38] There are quite a number of talented idols but people box them in as being idols so their talents get underrated, which is sad...

10. [+273, -18] Let me counter this article by writing down a few names with trash vocals... Goo Hara, Dasom, Hyeri...

11. [+234, -22] No one will hate on you if you're good. Have you ever seen anyone hate on Mamamoo for their skills?

12. [+302, -102] I don't think it's "for an idol" anymore because people said about Guitarman that his skills were being wasted "as an idol"

13. [+157, -12] One thing's for sure, idols these days are a heck of a lot more talented than the '90s when they all lip synced on stage.

14. [+129, -1] There are way too many idols lately that even if you are talented, a lot just disappear without even getting their name out there.

15. [+134, -6] There are lots of groups where 1 member out of 5 sings well... and imagine how many groups like that there are out there. You single out those talented members and it might seem like there are a lot of talents but factor in the rest of their members and the talented ones barely make up 20% of the idol industry.
