Wait really? Damn. I'm just glad Zico isn't hurt. I thought he was the one driving when I read the title.

    ReplyDelete
  2. I BET THEY ARE BOTH DRUNK.

    ReplyDelete
  3. These people blaming Zico when he could have Legit died because of his dumbass manager.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Tbh, if he had known the manager was drunk, he should've spoke up. Especially with that gangster mentality he seems to have.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Call a tax, please. Glad no one was hurt

    ReplyDelete
  6. There's nothing I hate more than drunk driving

You're not the only one who is punished

    ReplyDelete
  7. It's funny when people who drunk drive think, "Oh, I won't get into an accident, what are the chances?" There is a huge chance you will get into a car accident and get hurt while drunk driving, and the fact that people don't think this applies to them is so funny.

    ReplyDelete
  8. So... no one concerned about both of their well beings...?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Glad he's okay but the nets are kindve right, uf he was aware that he was drunk he shouldve been responsible and call a taxi or something.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I wil never understand why ppl drive drunk. Ppl get into accidents daily whIle sober. I can only imagine being drunk and driving. It's ridiculous really

    ReplyDelete
  11. They were both drunk. They are lucky nobody got hurt. Someone at the party shouldn't stopped them from leaving

    ReplyDelete
  12. Drunk drivers wether they be celebrities or not or dogs or grass or whatever are idiots!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Why are people saying is his fault or the manager's instead of worrying for his health? Have you forgotten the girls accident? Aren't you all worried about him? I'm not even a fan of him but once I read the title of the article I got worried about him! What's wrong wiith this world, seriously!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Drunk driving is only an act of murder if you kill someone.

I mean, I'm not pro-drunk driving either but let's not be ridiculous here.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Recently in my community , 4 kids were driving under the influence. 2 of the kids who were heading off to college passed away. I attended one of the kids funeral service last Sunday. Drunk driving is never an option.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh please

Zico was probably waves too LOL

    ReplyDelete
  17. Then why didn't he just drive?

    ReplyDelete
  18. So... no one concerned about *THE VICTIM'S" well beings...?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Stupidity. Arrogance.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Hopefully everyone is ok, but this is an incredibly stupid decision on the drivers part.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Thank God no one die. But kind of upset with Zico's manager :(

    ReplyDelete
  22. his manager also could have legit died, the drunk should not drive and if zico is not drunk, he should have warn him, if both drunk then i dunno

    ReplyDelete
  23. Oh, shoot.. Sorry. I just noticed the "car accident" and "zico, manager". I didn't thought there are more people involved.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Reckless driving of any sort, drunk or not, shouldn't be taken lightly, and instead of throwing the Blake game at Zico blame the man behind the wheels.
He shouldn't be held responsible, although at the same time it would have been a bright idea to just take a taxi.
    Glad no one got hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Was Zico drunk as well? If so, next time he should appoint a designated driver or called a taxi...

    ReplyDelete
  26. If you drink, you think you're invinsible. Common drunk driver logic.

    ReplyDelete
  27. If the manager was drunk how was Zico, because nobody in their right mind will let themselves be in a car with a drunk person driving, isn´t it? Glad he´s ok

    ReplyDelete
  28. yes.the report says they both drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  29. well to be fair, they weren't concerned about their well beings either. Their drunk driving could have not only gotten themselves hurt, but others as well. I doubt they don't know the possible consequences of drunk driving.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Well, they're alive. What's more important here is that they could have possibly harmed other people. If you drink and drive, you are putting OTHER'S lives in danger. Other who are in no way related to those driving the car.

    ReplyDelete
  31. 6. [+42, -0] Drunk driving is an act of murder. Therefore, he's guilty of basically aiding a murder.

i'm no lawyer but i'm like 98% sure drunk driving and murder are two very different things (unless like, the drunk driving results in murder, which it obviously didn't)..........

    ReplyDelete
  32. Okay. It's a wrap. Peace out Zico.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I always wonder how people think they can drive while drunk, even if you have high tolerance or whatever. I also have high tolerance but I can barely sit on the damn toilet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. What can we say? This is knetz's logic.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yes, but Zico should now how WRONG it's to let someone drunk drive. So basically they are both wrong and the manager or other people could have died in the accident you shouldn't just worry about Zico just because he is a celebrity.

But all in all I'm happy nothing more happened!

    ReplyDelete
  36. zico was drunk as well and got in the car knowing they were both drunk.. like pls

    ReplyDelete
  37. [+933, -87] He really is a tough cookie ㅋ

Oh how I love Korean humor

    ReplyDelete
  38. I guess :/ but there are no comments (there possibly are but, not with high upvotes anyways) about the people being hurt, and imo it's kind of o.o

    ReplyDelete
  39. If Zico let his manager drive while drunk and got in the car with him, he would've driven too if it was necessary. The two of them are wrong. Celebrities really cause a lot of drunk driving scandals, why is it so hard to ask somebody else to drive when you have the money?

    ReplyDelete
  40. But he didn't make the decision to drive the car.

    ReplyDelete
  41. If Zico was drunk as well...he should have appointed someone as his designated driver or had someone called a taxi. So irresponsible but good thing it was only minor injuries

    ReplyDelete
  42. Makes you think that maybe Colombia's drunk driving laws aren't that harsh... I was surprised when I heard about them.
Glad they're okay but seriously, why are people so irresponsible? There's a reason why you shouldn't drive while drunk but people ignore it, like do they care that little about their life and the lives of others? If you're gonna drink take a cab for goodness' sake...

    ReplyDelete
  43. Happened the same to 2 boys and 2 girls I knew. They were 5 in the car but only a guy survived and they all were my age. So scary this drunk driving problem.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well they're not necessarily wrong, bc it's an action that could lead to murder....it's more like gross negligence?

    It's kind of a reach.

    ReplyDelete
  45. I respect it. The states are too easy going on drunk driving tbh. You gotta crack it down to make people realize how dangerous it is

    ReplyDelete
  46. Um...I really hope Zico isn't that dumb. Zico isn't dumb at all, he doesn't care about certain things but he's a smart guy.

    ReplyDelete
  47. Trash. Both of them are in the wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  48. if he wasn't drunk as well he could have stopped his manager tho

    ReplyDelete
  49. Why should anyone be concerned about the people who got into a car drunk with the intention to drive?

    ReplyDelete
  50. he let drunk driver to drive

    ReplyDelete
  51. he shouldve escaped from the ambulance, such a noob

    ReplyDelete
  52. May be both of them were drunk, so Zico didn`t really know what`s going on...

    ReplyDelete
  53. Luckily everyone is okay and that includes Zico and his manager. As I'd hope it would regardless of who was drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Why is it always Zico? Thankfully they're okay and it was only minor injuries. This boy smart but in the dumbest way.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Pretty sure him and his manager were both drunk. They're both dumbasses.

    ReplyDelete
  56. This boy makes me not like him more and more. He's the reason I stopped being a fan of Block B all together (that and P.O? that's his name I think...he's really annoying to me lol)

    ReplyDelete
  57. But his manager made the decision to drive..... so I don't see why Zico is getting blamed for this. What if he was too drunk to realize his manager was drunk and was expecting him to be sober? You people only look at ONE rational side to bring down celebrities.

    ReplyDelete
  58. Well.. I'm not trying to defend their actions (which is stupid), but I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt.

    ReplyDelete
  59. 6. [+289, -9] Celebrities cause so many drunk driving scandals. He's
just as guilty for being in the car even if he didn't drink and drive.

    Not more than non-celebs though.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Well the article doesn't say they're hurt, if they were then that would obviously be the headline.

    ReplyDelete
  61. I highly doubt he was thinking straight while he was drunk..

    ReplyDelete
  62. He got into the car too?? If the guy had died and Zico didn't, Zico would also be legally responsible.

    ReplyDelete
  63. The report say both of them were drunk, is not that difficult to call a taxi instead of being irisponsible!

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah, I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt, either.

But if you're getting behind the wheel while drunk and you get hurt, it's your own fault. I'm more concerned about innocent people who are obeying the laws than someone who knowingly endangers themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  65. Sorry but... why is colombia related?

    ReplyDelete
  66. I was in a car accident not to long ago, hearing this makes me sick

    ReplyDelete
  67. yup, and bcs they`re not famous can`t know about their car accidents.

    ReplyDelete
  68. What's wrong with the world is that because of people like you, drunk driving is taken too lightly. Zico is alive, and so is his manager, and if they were hurt, it's entirely their fault. Drunk driving puts other innocent lives at risk. So many people die and get hurt just because some idiot decided someone else's life wasn't worth a simple decision not to drive after drinking.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Okay, I got your point.

    ReplyDelete
  70. because they are drunk...

    ReplyDelete
  71. PARTY TIME! lets sing Lemon soju, tequila for me, mojito for you
Let’s go to Jeju, California, Rome
Let’s go to a white pearly beach with great waves
    Finito
    P A R T Y P A R T Y

    ReplyDelete
  72. it doesn't matter if he's a celebrity tho? he was in the wrong that's why we bring him down. it's HIS MANAGER he could've easily done something about it. but he was drunk too and got into this car knowing they were both drunk. it's his responsibility as well.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Wow smh. I already expect little of him but this is a new low.

    ReplyDelete
  74. First thing first: Is everyone alright? No one hurt nor anything? If that's the case good.

Now, how stupid was it of the manager to drive under influence, I mean why was he even drinking in the first place if he was supposed to drive?

But even more stupid than that how come Zico didn't do anything to stop him? If he was sober and let him drive instead of driving himself or calling a DD he is a moron. If he was drunk and let him drive instead of calling a DD he is a moron.

Drnking or driving you have to choose and it is not like you can't afford a DD for f*** sake!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Couldn't have said it better.

    ReplyDelete
  76. Am I the only one who's really concerned about their well being tho? Comments here seems to imply that their well being don't matter to them because of his past mistakes. Smh. Get well soon Zico, Zico's manager, and the victims as well!

    ReplyDelete
  77. last I checked Zico was the dumbass who was also drunk with the manager. He isn't a little damn kid.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  79. not a fan nor is it my intention to 'shield' Zico but maybe he didn't know?

    ReplyDelete
  80. Do drunk people lose their senses when they're super drunk. Like are they even aware of the consequences that might happen if they drive? Or does all that stuff go out the window when they're really wasted.

    ReplyDelete
  81. He could have appointed a DD beforehand if he was planning to get wasted or had someone call his manager

    ReplyDelete
  82. I agree that they are both wrong! Though I think the drunk manager's actions are more severe than zico's actions bc the manager was the one drunk driving. But I agree zico shouldn't have let the manager drive if he knew the manager was drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  83. Kumbaya kumbaya hakuna matata bs.

Drunk driving is IRRESPONSIBLE, you are risking your own life as well as anyone who gets in the car, anyone who is on the road. If they were hurt the headline probably would've said so, they caused an accident which means OTHER people are probably hurt. Their lives aren't worth more than anyone else's just bc they're drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Zico might know the manager is drunk and he still lets him drive but he could've not known too if he was REALLY hammered, right? Definitely not a fan of zico or block b but we need to hear the results from the official investigation.

    ReplyDelete
  85. zico and his manager were both drunk. i bet he didn't even realized when he got on the car.

    ReplyDelete
  86. are you kidding me? both of the were DRUNK, they were the ones who didn't thought about their health at first, they could have killed someone because of their stupid minds or the could've killed themselves!

    ReplyDelete
  87. They were both drunk, though.

    ReplyDelete
  88. When I'm drunk I don't drive. Not everyone thinks they can do it all

    ReplyDelete
  89. Worrying is a good thing but don't tolerate wrong actions.

    ReplyDelete
  90. maybe involuntary manslaughter

    ReplyDelete
  91. No definitely. Zico should be getting blamed for being in the same car, but his manager is the one who should be getting most of the blame. His manager made the decision to get into the driver's seat and start the engine. That right there is on his manager, regardless of whether or not he was drunk. So why is Zico getting all of the blame if his manager was the one who happened to make the decision to drive while being drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  92. As someone who lost my best friend due to someone drunk driving and neglecting his responsibilities as a fellow human, I am completely disgusted by his manager and maybe Zico, himself, if he knew about it. If you want to put your life on the line, then fine. But make sure other people wouldn't be affected by your actions. Die on your own if you ought to.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I think because nobody is being heavily hurt, maybe just minor hurt, so it's not making a big case

    ReplyDelete
  94. I know a few people who drunk drive, unfortunately. And before and after they're drunk, they're usually too arrogant/self-absorbed to decide to not drive. Not bc they're drunk but be they're just bad people imo.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Friends who are drunk don't give a fuck about other friends who also happened to be drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Such irresponsible act. If they knew they have to drive to get home, then one of them shouldn't have drink at all. Both are at fault no matter what. I'm not gonna shield this action cus you're putting other people's lives at risk.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I don't want to sound rude/harsh but drink all you want, just don't drive, if you don't care about your own life, at least care about other people's lives. If you happen to crash into someone, the victim is the innocent one, not you.

Everyone makes mistakes but I can't tolerate drunk driving, you're not only risking your own lives bur other people's too. It's lucky that the manager and Zico were fine.

    ReplyDelete
  98. "Their lives aren't worth more than anyone else's just bc they're drunk." Exactly.

Nor are they worth more than anyone else's just because they're celebrities. They have families but so do the innocent people they endangered by driving drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I know One thing:
WE DON'T KNOW ANYTHING just that the MANAGER was drunk and WE WEREN'T with them in the car

    ReplyDelete
  100. Therefore, friends who are drunk can both go to jail for not caring about people's lives when they drunk drive.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Im just glad no one was hurt

    ReplyDelete
  102. Well, sometimes you can't make the best decisions when you're intoxicated.... someone at the birthday party they were at beforehand should've stopped them

    ReplyDelete
  103. Yeah zico definitely shouldn't have let his drunk manager drive, though technically we don't know if zico would have driven (he might have) but the court wouldn't be able to charge him for drunk driving or attempt to drunk drive you know bc he didn't drunk drive. Sorry I'm not defending his actions, he should have stopped his manager from driving.. But at least he didn't actually drunk drive.

    ReplyDelete
  104. Who in their right mind decided that it was okay for a drunk person to drive...

    ReplyDelete
  105. Zico I love you but boy, stop being so fucking dumb and chill out. God, what if they had hit someone...

    ReplyDelete
  106. this is a fair point. zico's got problems, but idols should be able to depend on their managers as designated drivers if they said they would, and if he was drunk and relying on him, I can't blame him very much.

    ReplyDelete
  107. If both were drunk, Zico didn`t really realized what they`re doing. Here many ppl seems like never were drunk, if you drunk everything seems like cinema, everything you remember only little parts. You`re like sleeping even though you`re moving/walking.

    ReplyDelete
  108. ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZJuly 10, 2015 at 10:58 PM

The good thing is that, Zico wasnt the one who were driving.. Or else, farewell to his entire career~~

    ReplyDelete
  109. When they're irresponsible enough to drink and drive, it's not just about them anymore; It's about everyone else. It's just a matter of being plain irresponsible. Comparing this to Ladies Code is dumb as hell.

    ReplyDelete
  110. oh well okay i get the hate now

    ReplyDelete
  111. Well, they were drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  112. You don't lose your senses. It just really impairs them. I'm sure people are aware of the consequences but they just really don't give a fuck, and that is bad.

    ReplyDelete
  113. Yeah drinking impairs your logic/common sense, so you think you're fine to drive and that u can do it, but actually... No u can't.

    ReplyDelete
  114. meaning i get why hes geting hate sorreh

    ReplyDelete
  115. He was drunk, also, and even if he wasn't, he still let his manager drive and endanger others. If he "legit died," it's his own irresponsibility at fault. They came from the same party, it isn't as if he didn't know that his manager had been drinking.

    ReplyDelete
  116. A nice issue by EYK

  117. I have to up vote. You have no chill lmao

    ReplyDelete
  118. Get a taxi, cab, public transportation etc. There's so many ways to go about this. To heck with your safety. What about every innocent bystander you end up harming?

    ReplyDelete
  119. people talk mostly about zico here because they know him. the manager is anonymous that's why it's hard for people to say anything about him. however I haven't seen anyone who puts the blame on zico only. just people who say that zico should be blamed TOO. and it's true. theyre both at fault.

    ReplyDelete
  120. Because the manager is most likely his hyung, and told him that he was fine to drive.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I assumed his manager was supposed to be his DD in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  122. No chill! Take my upvote

    ReplyDelete
  123. This reminds me of what happened to EYK's Rose.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Also, ladies code manager wasn't drunk he was speeding slightly when something happened to his tire. It's shitty to even try to compare the two.

    ReplyDelete
  125. There are some people like when they walk, they're staggering so maybe they have high tolerance but in general, it's a safer choice to not drive at all after you drink alchohol even just a lil bit. Cause some people even when they are actually drunk like a little dizzy, they were like in denial and insist they could drive. And that's when the trouble started

    ReplyDelete
  126. This is slightly what I am thinking and why I am putting the fault mostly at the manager. The manager is well, a manager. He is supposed to be managing Zico, yes or no? He had the responsibility to get him back home safely. This was one of Zico's best friend's birthdays. You bet your ass that Zico is going to get drunk for his boy's birthday. Manager could've had one beer or two and been okay by the time they left, but I wonder how much he drank to have caused this accident...

    ReplyDelete
  127. From what i think maybe someone assumed the manager wasn't drunk and just let him drive but in reality that fool was just as drunk as zico ugggghhhhhh

    ReplyDelete
  128. Drunk drivers are gross and a menace to those on the road. Something severely dangerous could have occurred. Should have called a taxi if both the manager and Zico were drunk

    ReplyDelete
  129. The both of them being drunk doesn't clear either ZIco nor his manager of guilt (and stupidity). You don't get drunk in half a second, the moment their lips touched alcohol they should have booked a cab or a DD. Hell no they should have done it before even having a sip of alcohol.

They were lucky neither of them got hurt or even worse hurt someone else. We shouldn't overlook his dangerous and careless behavior just because he is an idol, if it was someone else we would have butchered him already

    ReplyDelete
  130. It's not, I was just thinking about how "tough" I thought they were lol

    ReplyDelete
  131. I really don't understand the cultures where drinking alcohol is acceptable, they would go out lose their minds, and wants to go back home? Without a mind?
How do you even get so relaxed knowing that in few minutes you cannot really look over yourself in a place filled with strangers.
I get hella panoid idk how they can do this.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I see so many people here defending Zico because it wasn't him who drove. It doesn't matter WHO Zico is, or what a nice guy he is, or how humble he is or whatever crap some people are spouting here. The important matter here is that someone decided other innocent lives weren't worth making a simple decision to not drive/ let someone drink and drive.
Honestly, it is entirely your fault if you get hurt because of YOUR own foolish decisions. Zico and his manager are clearly alive, so why should we focus on whether they're fine or not? They're fine, they're alive. What matters is that because of them, someone could have easily gotten hurt or even died because of someone else's irresponsibility. And to those who might point out that nobody got hurt, and so it shouldn't matter, that kind of attitude is exactly what causes drunk driving and consequently, accidents. Drunk driving is not an issue that should be taken lightly.

    ReplyDelete
  133. nah, I've met plenty of responsible drunk people who say they shouldn't drive. Being drunk doesn't excuse you from fatally killing someone with your dumbass choices.

    ReplyDelete
  134. NOOO JIHOOOO... NOT AGAIN PLEASE.... NO MOREEEEE SCANDALLLL I BEG YOUUU...

    ReplyDelete
  135. Yeah I was a bit wtf at that comment

    ReplyDelete
  136. I saw this @ onehallyu o3o

-Both him and the manager had some drinks during Park Kyung's b-day party and got in an accident after the party.

-Apparently some kind of signal violation (guessing the manager drove during red light or something)

-Seven seasons said they're not seriously injured, and Zico even filmed SMtM after the accident.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I know what it is like to be drunk but that's no excuse. You don't get drunk in half a second. If him and his manager decided to have a drink the first thing they should have done was to book a cab or a DD in order for them to go home safe.

    ReplyDelete
  138. They have services for this kind of thing in Korea, though.

If the manager knew he was drunk, if Zico knew he was drunk (they were both at the same party so it's obvious he did know) then they could call one of the services to have a driver come drive them and their car home. It costs very little but could potentially save lives.

    Not doing so is irresponsible.

    ReplyDelete
  139. that wasn't his friend, it was his manager
someone who knows that zico depends on him and still drank and drove
    like wtf

    ReplyDelete
  140. For all the people who want to derail: Zico is fine. Manager is fine too. That's what the report says.

    ReplyDelete
  141. Zico was drunk. They were at Kyung's birthday party at a lounge, and that's one of Zico's best friends in the group. Of course he was going to get drunk. If you saw videos of him at the party, you could see him slinging his arms over everyone and drunkly free styling.

What I'm thinking is that the manager was there to be a DD. so my question is, why did manager drink so much if he was supposed to drive.. A beer or two during the entire party is whatever, that won't do anything, but just how much did he drink?!

    ReplyDelete
  142. Omg I laughed so hard I love you 😂😂😂

  143. I meant beforehand...

    ReplyDelete
  144. I upvoted you at first but then thought about it. Either way I felt this could have been avoided because what really are the odds that he went wherever he did and thought nah I'm not drinking tonight. Someone said it was a friends bday. Come on, who wouldn't be going with the intentions of getting turnt and having a good time celebrating your boys day? Prior plans could have been made but he's human so that was probably the last thing on his mind

    ReplyDelete
  145. Someone please explain?

    ReplyDelete
  146. agree if he knew his manager is drunk at least make him stop or if both of them are drunk they should booked a taxi .. being drunk while driving is like making a decision to risk your life like an idiots. :\ *but oh well i'm going to wait the result from official investigation*

    ReplyDelete
  147. Is it bad I hoped zico was driving before clicking this lol anything to get him off our damn screens

    ReplyDelete
  148. He attended the party with Zico, sounds like a friend to me. Just because managing him is his job doesn't mean he's working 24/7.

Either way, it's irresponsible. I don't care who you are to me, my boss, the CEO of my company, I'm not letting you drive home drunk.

There are services in Korea that will ride a bike to your location and drive you home in your own car. They're not even expensive. There's no excuse for drunk driving.

    ReplyDelete
  149. Then friends shouldn't be drinking.

    ReplyDelete
  150. I'm going to guess you've never been drinking with a group of friends. You *know* when your friends are drunk. You can tell even with people you don't know all that well because behavior changes. Even a mild buzz inhibits your thinking before it gets to the point of inhibiting your coordination.

    ReplyDelete
  151. oop yes it is but

tbh nothing would get zico off our screens

    ReplyDelete
  152. But he let someone who was drunk drive. If Zico wasn't drunk, then why did he for the love of God let someone who was drive??? If he was drunk, why did he not plan beforehand that neither of them will be driving that night? Zico wasn't forced to get into that car and be driven around by a drunk guy, he had a choice.

    ReplyDelete
  153. For everyone 21+ reading this there is an app called Uber that you can use to get a ride home if you plan on getting drunk.

    ReplyDelete
  154. Geez, Ziaco and Block B never gets a break. Scandal after incident after accident...

    ReplyDelete
  155. If you are going to drink you have to have a brain and figure out who will drive beforehand. You are sober before you drink.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Drunk driving shouldn't be taken lightly at all. Which is why having a DD is so important. Which is what the manager was supposed to be. Zico was drunk. He went to Kyung's birthday, of course he's going to get drunk. But. Why the heck was the manager drinking if he knew he had to get Zico back home?

The only issue I have with people saying "Zico should have known" is that he may truly not have known. He could've been so drunk that his manager seemed fine to drive, when in reality he wasn't.

BUT who knows how it all went down. I'm just looking too deeply into it based off of my own drunken experiences.

    ReplyDelete
  157. Of course the manager's actions are more servere.
They were both drunk and both wrong they should take this as a lesson cause it's not every time they will get out of it so easy

I'm just happy that no one got hurt :)

    ReplyDelete
  158. Yeah but if you're drinking or going to a place where you will be drinking, arrange ahead of time for that. There is NO excuse.

There is a super efficient, cheap service in korea for this purpose.

    ReplyDelete
  159. Well, I know someone who might get fired and someone else who's probably getting a pay-cut ~

    ReplyDelete
  160. "Drunk driving is an act of murder. Therefore, he's guilty of basically aiding a murder. "

okay let's not get ahead of ourselves. unfortunately someone has to have been killed before we call it murder.

tsk tsk at him and his manager. how irresponsible to be drinking on the job and then attempting to drive!

    ReplyDelete
  161. When you get drunk you decide to be drunk so you plan your ride home beforehand.
Korea has a very low if not zero tolerance to driving under influence (just look at what happened to Nickhun) His manager shouldn't have had a sip of alcohol and if it was decided that he was going to drink then he should have called a cab before his first drink.
I'm also blaming everyone else who was there, sober or at least more aware of their actions, and didn't do sh*t to stop them from getting into that car.

    ReplyDelete
  162. I think a lot of people commenting here don't drink, because this is the most realistic take on the whole situation. Drunk people don't have reasonable decision making skills. that's why they need DDs. that's why the manager was supposed to drive him in the first place!! You can fault Zico for a lot of things, but I don't get this.

    ReplyDelete
  163. You are sober before you drink. If they weren't going to plan who was going to drive before hand they shouldn't have had anything to drink. I like zico quite honestly but drunk driving isn't a petty thing. I agree with you though. Someone at the party should have stopped them

    ReplyDelete
  164. Dogs and grass don't get drunk. Only human are idiots and destroy things around them.

    ReplyDelete
  165. What is with these people? Do they just go out knowing they are are most likely going to get wasted but don't make prior plans when sober of how they are gonna get their asses home?

    ReplyDelete
  166. tbh Zico should be allowed to get drunk at a friends party and expect his manager to do his job by getting him home safe, no? that seems like the whole point of having a DD, you can't be expected to make good decisions. so I'm not sure how planning to have a DD makes him as dumb as the manager...

    ReplyDelete
  167. Yeah, you sound like a horrible person right now.

    ReplyDelete
  168. When you're drunk, you don't think you are drunk. The common excuse ppl use is it's only 1 drink, but they never mention what kind of that 1 drink is or its amount.

    ReplyDelete
  169. Getting into a car with a drunk driver makes you dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  170. [+933, -87] He really is a tough cookie ㅋ

ACK I still can't stand that song.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Has anyone here gotten blocked by netizen buzz before? I don't believe I said anything controversial, which is why I'm wondering if it's because I gave a fake email the first time. Or does being blocked mean that it's purely a moderator's decision?

    ReplyDelete
  172. but why would you give a fake email tho? lol

    ReplyDelete
  173. I mean, I use Uber no matter what t stay safe so I feel you. But the point is, I don't think Zico would expect his manager to drive unless his manager was /supposed/ to be a DD. idk if you drink, but if you wasted at your friends party and then your ride gets drunk too, it's not going to be a priority for you. especially considering the drinking culture -- I don't get blackout drunk or anything where I can't remember my night, but it's obvious that my judgment is impaired even still. the original decision to drink when he knew he was going to driving is the most inexcusable thing, and that's on the manager completely. unless i'm misinterpreting this.

    ReplyDelete
  174. Yeah, the manager shouldn't have drank. One beer will not affect a grown man, but if the laws are strict then... Yeah... I really don't know how strict Korea's laws are (I wouldn't doubt how strict they are though) so I'm just comparing it to American laws (you know the whole certain alcohol blood percentage business).

But yeah that too.. If you see someone drunk trying to drive, they should be stopped. But there are people who are so ridiculously insistent on driving regardless of how much they drank (which is absolutely terrible) that they pretend to be fine and act like they are. Some people are sadly really good at hiding if they are drunk/tipsy.

    ReplyDelete
  175. it wasn't per say fake, but more of i forgot my email and most likely wrote the wrong one trying to recall it

    ReplyDelete
  176. I just don't get it either. Especially with all the cheap transportation services there are lately. If you're conscious enough to use a vehicle you're conscious enough to use a phone

    ReplyDelete
  177. This is so true. You KNOW when someone's had a drink. You can smell it, you can see it, you can hear it. Even the most heavyweight drinkers will show clear signs that they drank.

    ReplyDelete
  178. So many drunk driving incidents surrounding numerous celebrities yet these kinds of situations still occur. Truly dissapointing. They're lucky that weren't seriously injured.

    ReplyDelete
  179. He deserves all the hate.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Im curious, what you said to get blocked? Hahaha. That's my nosy question

    ReplyDelete
  181. if you insulted EXO there exo mod biased here

    ReplyDelete
  182. I think everyone in the car gets punished when the driver is drunk, so... :/ Yeah, but some people are acting like it's only the manager's fault when they're both wrong. Glad they're not injuried tho.

    ReplyDelete
  183. I think the prior plans were to have his manager drive. they're supposed to be responsible for the boys, so he should have actively decided to stay sober.

    ReplyDelete
  184. Many people have liquid courage! I don't know many people who can get shitfaced and still have an ounce of common sense. Lmfao the funniest are people who aren't drunk but act it for show. I was literally at a part last night and this girl was given shots of water but was being sloppy, kissing random dudes, and being loud af. When she was told she had been drinking water all night she got pissed and left! LMFAO funniest thing I have ever witnessed.

    ReplyDelete
  185. I don't understand why some people are so stubborn. Why would you drink and drive? I think people who drink and drive should bd thrown to jail, otherwise no one would understand the severity of it

    ReplyDelete
  186. N word, confederate flag, drunk driving. Bye Zico!

    ReplyDelete
  187. Yeah... I've had too many drunk experiences that I can form theories on, which is why I'm looking at it at every way possible. In the end, it was still irresponsible and reckless of the manager to drive if he had drank enough to be even the slightest impaired and if he was supposed to be DD.

    ReplyDelete
  188. amen, that's what i thought. i'm fairly sure a lot of the people pinning full blame on zico haven't drunk before. some people can get so drunk you can't even tell what's going on, and even i as an idol will expect my manager to remain sober to drive me home.

    ReplyDelete
  189. 6. [+42, -0] Drunk driving is an act of murder. Therefore, he's guilty of basically aiding a murder.

Drunk driving is disgusting, inexcusable and reckless behavior but it's not an act of murder unless you actually kill someone because you drove drunk. The manager is a dumbass endangering people and so is Zico for getting into the car/letting him drive, but they're not murderers, what the hell

    ReplyDelete
  190. Sigh. So many idiots in the world...
