KARA wraps up promos for 'Cupid'

Article: 'Show Champion' KARA wraps up 'Cupid' promotions

Source: TV Report via Nate

1. [+202, -27] It felt like something was going to change when they got a new member so it's weird seeing them fail harder and harder... Is it because their song is bad? They're already wrapping up promos when people barely even knew they had a comeback

2. [+178, -44] Youngji honestly isn't a face to draw in that many fans, her plastic surgery is too obvious. This comeback album was such a failure on all levels from visuals to the song.

3. [+166, -13] Who is their coordi

4. [+18, -9] This album was such a failure ㅎㅎ Barely even knew they had a comeback and they're already wrapping promos up and going back in ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+18, -9] Are they wrapping promos up because they never got to win #1 ㅡㅡ

6. [+16, -9] The song and coordi concept were both so bad for this comeback

7. [+14, -9] Wait, I didn't even know KARA had a comeback

8. [+13, -7] They barely even promoted though ㅋㅋㅋ

9. [+13, -9] Are they cutting promos early because their pride was hurt with never winning #1

10. [+12, -5] Didn't know they were even promoting...

  1. Hi! I'm really really sorry that this is unrelated to the post..
But the due date is getting near so we need lots of support

Please help in stopping this horrific and barbaric tradition of slaughtering, torturing and skinning dogs alive. 10.000 dogs are going to be slaughtered this 22nd June

  2. Sad that it came to like this, i honestly felt like they didn't made a comeback too.

    ReplyDelete
  3. Song is good but what's up with their coordi? And it's sad to see such a big girl group flopping but it's how this industry works.

    ReplyDelete
  4. It's crazy how little waves did this comeback make.
Hell even knetz most disliked group T-Ara made more noise with sugar free.
I blame the song here though, it was quite bland. I expected a jam from Kara not that

    ReplyDelete
  5. I wish this dont get deleted.

    ReplyDelete
  6. DSP are so terrible. First Rainbow, now Kara.

    ReplyDelete
  7. 7. [+14, -9] Wait, I didn't even know KARA had a comeback

    10. [+12, -5] Didn't know they were even promoting...

    :(

    ReplyDelete
  8. I could kinda see it coming...the song is nowhere as good as Mamma Mia or Damaged Lady + imo Youngji has done quite a bit for the group since she joined

    ReplyDelete
  9. Well they flopped hard in korea but they're Japan queens ♡

    ReplyDelete
  10. I like "Peek-A-Boo". Sounds like Pikachu in the end.

    ReplyDelete
  11. They should comeback with their Japanese release. It's so much better than their Korean release. They even beat SNSD sales in Japan. At least they still popular there

    ReplyDelete
  12. Cupid is not even on charts anymore..... Btw has anyone seen 2pm on charts recently? They sorta disappeared?

    ReplyDelete
  13. +18, -9] Are they wrapping promos up because they never got to win #1 ㅡㅡ

They did won . They won 1st in MTV The Show

    ReplyDelete
  14. Sighs I miss Kara's old songs, they were (and still are) my jam.. I liked Cupid as a song but it was nowhere near their past records.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Their album sales at this point is disappointing knowing that they can sell 80k-100k copies in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Is the song that bad?

    ReplyDelete
  17. How many did they sell?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Give it a try and decide for yourself https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=74RzHIpZuDY

    ReplyDelete
  19. Well 2PM is currently #27 on Melon, don't know about the other charts.

    ReplyDelete
  20. DSP disappoints with every comeback tbh.
its like they could finally shine and have a bit more media exposure since jiyoung is popular now, but of course, DSP goes right ahead and gives a shitty song to them.
    its a shame.

    ReplyDelete
  21. YES, I HOPE it won't be deleted, I'm getting very anxious as the due date is already getting near and have been spreading this everywhere. My heart is breaking thinking about the poor animals.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The song was just bland. Actually, it doesn't even sound like a song to me.

  25. surfinthesasslifeJune 17, 2015 at 12:38 PM

Wow that was quick, and i haven't even heard the song.

    ReplyDelete
  26. The Chinese youtuber BubzBeauty said it on Facebook too :) I cant sign in the phone but I will use my computer just for this.

    ReplyDelete
  27. i like their song though... it was catchy

    ReplyDelete
  28. ugh, smh at those people, u go girl, i support you

    ReplyDelete
  29. It sounds good till that "rap"

    ReplyDelete
  30. You should face it. You were out of Korea a lot of time =/ a lot of groups have bad comebacks but they keep promoting to make people notice them. Srly why did you stop?

    ReplyDelete
  31. Their Japanese release still sold well. they should focus more in Japan I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  32. seriously, their timing for this comeback is really bad. they had to compete with big boy groups - Big Bang, SHINee, EXO, Bangtan Boys ._. the song isn't doing that bad digitally, in fact Cupid has more longevity than Mamma Mia and stayed on Top50 on Melon (Mamma Mia already out of Top100 after 3 weeks). KARA normally only promoted for 3-4 weeks for every comeback, so, fans kinda already expected it. plus, they will have a schedule/start promoting in China next week. i just hope KARA will make another comeback later this year.

    ReplyDelete
  33. did the album at least do well?

    ReplyDelete
  34. Who is Jiyoung?

    ReplyDelete
  35. I do feel the new member gave the group a refreshed energy and public attention, but the comeback was too laid back to capitalize on this interest.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Vice did a documentary on the exact same event held in the exact same city. It's worth a watch but it's graphic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfaZeIxHFUM

    ReplyDelete
  37. Why is anyone paying attention to these 2-3 digit upvotes/downvotes posts?

    ReplyDelete
  38. but The Show doesn't really have a system to it does it? It seems they just give it to any group they feel like it. (which is why most fandoms don't brag about winning there lol cause it's aubitrary)

    ReplyDelete
  39. They meant youngji

    ReplyDelete
  40. I don't think their CUPID was even the best CUPID. I thought Oh My Girl CUPID was better.

    ReplyDelete
  41. As much as I love KARA; this comeback had bad styling, a poorly produced song (a shame because the instrumental in the trailers was awesome) and nugu-group level choreography (which I don't understand since Mamma Mia had amazing choreo and they pulled it off)
Hoping they are given better material in their next comeback.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Digitally and Physically? Nope.

    ReplyDelete
  43. How bad is it now? Is this including local Japanese acts or are we talking in terms of only kpop acts promoting in Japan?

    ReplyDelete
  44. Why? I think they still do well there. Their latest jap release sold twice as much as SNSD release

    ReplyDelete
  45. even the nuguest group could win on The Show

    ReplyDelete
  46. "mamma mia" was a jam and it didn't do well either - sigh, I want Kara to do well again. "cupid" just didn't HIT for me :(

    ReplyDelete
  47. Summergic sold decently well for a Kpop group these days but it's a far cry from what they used to achieve.

In related news, Girl's Story debuted at #4 on Oricon

    ReplyDelete
  48. I have to agree with number 2 bcs her face changed somehow dramatically since last year

    ReplyDelete
  49. Neither SNSD or KARA are mainstream popular in Japan nowadays tho.

    ReplyDelete
  50. Problem is the Japanese market is closing up and shrinking for Kpop due to Korean-Japanese ties and all that stuff. KARA can only sustain because they've been established in Japan in the past and so can take a hit for longer before bottoming out. But it's not a good idea to continue focusing on Japan when the business prospects aren't good...

    ReplyDelete
  51. DSP is such awful company

    ReplyDelete
  52. KARA's Japanese singles has always outsold Soshi's tho but Soshi has always passed 150k sales mark everytime with a full length.

    ReplyDelete
  53. but not like how they used to

    ReplyDelete
  54. Where are the people claiming Youngji saved Kara now? Kara was and will always be the best as 5. I love Youngji but not even she can save them now.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I liked Cupid but this promo wasn't successful

    ReplyDelete
  56. Oh I only knew from this article that they had a comeback and it ended already?! So 1 girl group already concede from the battle of Girl Groups that is about to happen.

    ReplyDelete
  57. All the money is in Japan.

    ReplyDelete
  58. im so sorry!!!!!
i am horribly sleep deprived and very confused.

    ReplyDelete
  59. The Show is the most irrelevant award show. Next is Show Cham.

    ReplyDelete
  60. they should've changed their concept for a more mature (in terms of music) type of songs

    ReplyDelete
  61. Youngji did got some touch up surgery before if you look at her predebut photos. But other than that she did lost 20 pounds and constantly did these facial massages to slim her face down. And fixed her brows. She did it on roommates

    ReplyDelete
  62. I hesitate to agree to this. I think Youngji did bring a major refresh to KARA, if that's the right way to phrase it. She would have done wonders in saving the group. KARA's status in Kpop did improve after Youngji came. The problem I think is that DSP isn't building enough momentum on the wave that Youngji created, and now KARA is fading again as Youngji's goodness starts to fade...

    ReplyDelete
  63. WTF...I'm going to hug my puppy now and spread awareness

    ReplyDelete
  64. That was quite fast....I was not fond of cupid...

    ReplyDelete
  65. i bet half the people signing this eat food from factory farms. as a vegan, sure, please get rid of this horrible festival. it's just the hypocrisy..

    ReplyDelete
  66. Youngji's prime was when they were promoting Mama Mia and that didn't even save them. Kara's brand helped Youngji more than she helped them.

    ReplyDelete
  67. In terms of Kpop girl groups they're still top 2 along with SNSD... mostly because hardly anyone else in Kpop releases anything in Japan anymore. In terms of sales no female Kpop act is doing respectably compared to local Japanese acts.

    ReplyDelete
  68. How many weeks did Kara promote for?

    ReplyDelete
  69. Why.. just why...I feel like crying.Glad that I'm vegan.

    ReplyDelete
  70. I guess I'll give them until their next comeback to judge.

    ReplyDelete
  71. 12 year olds dont belong hereJune 17, 2015 at 12:54 PM

Even T-ARA did more noise during Sugar Free. The song is bland, that's it.

    ReplyDelete
  72. At least Kara had a good run. Poor Rainbow.

    ReplyDelete
  73. yassss fellow vegan

    ReplyDelete
  74. Wow...I don't like dogs but there are limits you shouldn't cross.
The explanation was clear and totally made me want to support the case.

    ReplyDelete
  75. Am I the only one who liked this song more than Mamma mia?

    ReplyDelete
  76. It was the song choice. I listened to it once and forgot Kara were promoting a while after it.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Well they are about to release Girls Story in Japan, so we'll see if they can live up to their Japanese reign lol

    ReplyDelete
  78. "My House" ranks 13 on ichart. You can google ichart.instiz.net. Ichart lists all the ranks in other digital charts as well (too see that you need to click on green Korean link under the point of the song).

    ReplyDelete
  79. Seungri does a better job at promoting KARA/Hara than DSP...

    ReplyDelete
  80. Oh another Japanese single? I love their releases there so I'm looking forward to it :)

    ReplyDelete
  81. Yes, the only one.

    ReplyDelete
  82. I think they just came back at a very bad time. Not saying they would have been hitting #1 or anything, but they just got swallowed up with the other artists around.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I didn't know they were doing a comeback...But they all look beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
  84. Oh no, it's so sad

    ReplyDelete
  85. a dog is an animal. a pig is an animal. a cow is too. chicken. etc. i am a VEGAN, i am not saying i think this is okay, of course not! but how can people think this isnt ok and make such a fuss yet go home and tuck into a nice pork chop??? and don't tell me about suffering. factory farmed animals suffer MORE than enough. cruelty is cruelty. suffering is suffering. and ALL animal are worthy. pets or not. pigs are so intelligent, there is nothing that seperates them from dogs. i mean, even vegetarians may assume the dairy industry isn't cruel bc the animal isn't dying. they have absolutely no idea, and the suffering lasts longer for them actually, same with hens. i'm going off track here but you get the point.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I'm not trying to be shady and this is genuinely a curious question. What is the difference between this and factory farms. Is it because we have domesticated the dogs? Because we treat cows, pigs, chicken etc. the same. Again, an honest question.. some cultures are okay with eating dog. It's just meat..

    ReplyDelete
  87. Hi, I'm sorry if I somehow offend you in any way, but I am not against people eating meat, please understand that even if they are meant to be eaten, they don't deserve to be killed in a horrendous and barbaric way (for every animals). I feel like It is not wrong to actually show support to stop this kind of tradition rather than doing nothing (in my opinion)

    ReplyDelete
  88. But you didn't buy it, so it's irrelevant for them.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I think one of the main issues that was brought up in the campaign was that actual loved pets were stolen from their homes. But I get your point. Out of curiosity, did you sign the petition?

    ReplyDelete
  90. Full-length. These typically don't do well. It debuted at #4 on Oricon just yesterday JST.

    ReplyDelete
  91. Crashing and burning

    ReplyDelete
  92. I see that but actually alot of people are just turning their nose up at the thought of eating dog. and suffering from stealing pets is absolutely horrific, horrific, horrid. but so is factory farming. like i said, you can't measure suffering but i agree yeah. Oh of course I did!!!!! I love dogs, I own 4 adopted dogs and I work at a local RSCPA shelter every week.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Hara's shirt looks good. I feel bad for the group.

    ReplyDelete
  94. Kara are like SNSD; veteran girl groups who are already way past their prime and now trying to live out the last of their years as idols as best as they can guess. Kara was on the decline with or without Youngji. Looking back, her praises were probably exaggerated but at least for a while she managed to spin a positive, fresh image for the group all by her herself. It was commendable.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hi Anon, I'm not here trying to stop people from eating dogs because it is unfair to the other animals if we think about it, but please understand that "every animals" don't deserve to be killed brutally and horrendously and I think that it's nice to actually be involved in trying to stop this kind of tradition when you have the opportunity rather than doing nothing :) (in my opinion)

    ReplyDelete
  96. So can op or anyone replying to this comment release their receipts. I want to see how Kara are doing now compared to their heyday.

    ReplyDelete
  97. i know and i agree (except obviously i am against people eating meat) i just don't see people desperately signing petitions to get pork banned, or beef for example. why is that? bc thats a "cultural" thing too, something socially formed over time, as humans have been thought to be herbivores naturally. and also i understand that, but at the end of the day, this is a debate on morality. to me, there is no "humane" way to kill something. if i'm going to murder someone do i go and give them a little kiss and a stroke their head then shoot them? oh well, maybe it's less painful than another method of murder, but i still killed them at the end of the day (sorry for the graphic metaphor) but i hope you get my point xxx i'm not trying to force my opinions just expressing my views and i love hearing other peoples opinions in return :-) xxx

    ReplyDelete
  98. people have different opinions, i didn't really like it but maybe you would :)

    ReplyDelete
  99. They always have a comeback in Korea every year like snsd tho even snsd active in Japan last year

    ReplyDelete
  100. I think that everyone should take a step back and remember that we are on a Kpop forum :3

    ReplyDelete
  101. Yeah, only her eyes changed.

    ReplyDelete
  102. My point to,people don't care what Indians think when they see them eating beef (beef are sacred in India right?). But no animal deserves to suffer like this.

    ReplyDelete
  103. ahaha true. although i don't really come here for kpop though, i'm a gyopo/dongpo and i just come here for the news bits lol :P sorry for getting too heated

    ReplyDelete
  104. 2PM's new song charted better than Go Crazy and ADTOY. It might rise after they start promoting on music shows.

    ReplyDelete
  105. That's why I honestly think that instead of Young Ji, they should've just brought in So Min and So Jin from the project instead. So Min had so much more to prove. The possibilities could be endless for her. She was a VERY strong singer so she could've gone on shows like Mask Singer or Immortal Song. Very quirky personality which is very good for varieties. She was a GREAT dancer too. Plus, looking a like like Ha Ra would've been a great asset. Even KARA voted for So Min to join the group. They should've brought So Min and So Jin in to refresh the group as they were a lot more talented. With Young Ji, no offense to her fans, but it's not like what she brought to the group talent-wise, the other girls couldn't do as 3 already. Imagine three strong singers instead of just Gyu Ri and Seung Yeon. Imagine two strong dancers who look like each other.

I'm sorry to say, but Young Ji was a temporary refresh button to KARA. She reinvigorated them, but she pales in comparison to the best 5 KARA. Especially with "Mister," "Lupin," "Step," and "Pandora."

    ReplyDelete
  106. I would still prefer mamma mia over cupid, it doesnt have the kara feel to it.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Kara are amazing. The song sucks, styling and choreography were boring. Really disappointed as KARA are one of the few veterans around.

    ReplyDelete
  108. Their popularity was on a decline before because of DSP's shit management and lack of member promotion beside Hara and they're on this shit hole because DSP treated Nicole especially like crap and she signed off along with Jiyoung. So you're right about that, but that is solely because of DSP. Kara will never achieve the success they did as 5 no matter how much the public loves Youngji.

    ReplyDelete
  109. I mean, couldn't we say the same thing about SNSD?

    ReplyDelete
  110. How long did they promote this :/
I preferred Mamma Mia to this song tbh

    ReplyDelete
  111. As someone who watched Kara Project I agree. Many fans were disappointed with the results. I'm not surprised Youngji won though - she has a wealthy background and her dad is influential.

    ReplyDelete
  112. i am not people that have much knowledge about this but i have read something there is different treatment about regular animal, pet and stocks.
A stock farmer raised a stock with a positive mindset it have a good purpose, he raised them gently, even when turning them into a meat. And there is a rule to not naming their stocks, because it will hard when the time come.
Meanwhile what the OP said, that event torturing animal, clearly different mindset.

well its just some information come when i read some farming books.

    ReplyDelete
  113. SmokingweedwithGDJune 17, 2015 at 1:19 PM

No animal is meant to be eaten. Our teeth and bodies aren't made for that. Sure we can process it. But we really don't need it.

    ReplyDelete
  114. and A-Jax are nowhere to be found

    ReplyDelete
  115. I'll leave it up this time, but please refrain from posting things like this again (this goes for eveyone) .
It's not that I'm against things like this, but it derails the comments thread and is still considered off topic.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Honestly, a catchy song can save them. I like Mamma mia over Cupid.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Problem is, this comeback was so bland and basic.

    ReplyDelete
  118. their latest japanese single top daily oricon chart and Summergic rank 2 on oricon weekly chart (is it relevant ?Genuine question)

    ReplyDelete
  119. Kara are veterans, they can do something more daring or creative than this. This comeback is just them singing a generic song in generic pretty dresses.

    ReplyDelete
  120. i really do hope you don't eat meat in general because that way you're just a hypocrite

    ReplyDelete
  121. Neither of the two acts has been on the level where they used to be 4 years ago. But they are still the top 2 Korean girl groups there. And for the record, KARA has always outsold Soshi with their Japanese singles but Soshi has always successfully passed 170k sales mark for their every full length Japanese ones.

    ReplyDelete
  122. KPOP is basically dead in Japan.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Ok I will thank u for the help! :)

    ReplyDelete
  124. 2pm hasn't even started promoting yet so it's hard to say how well they're doing but yesterday they dominated at #3 on ichart sooo

    ReplyDelete
  125. Oh really? Wow! Thank you for the information anyways ^^

    ReplyDelete
  126. We can say that to every KPOP acts there, not just these 2.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Not true lol Big Bang was at #2 for largest concert audience in Japan in 2014 and DBSK was at #6, but it's true that kpop becomes less relevant in Japan

    ReplyDelete
  128. This article is not talking about SNSD, also sorry but i'm not a fan so i don't know

    ReplyDelete
  129. Okay why are we making exceptions to certain unrelated posts? This is 100% unfair to every other unrelated posts that have been deleted.

    ReplyDelete
  130. They promoted Rainbow for like... 2 weeks? They didn't even promote other songs, like Bad Man Crying...

    ReplyDelete
  131. I didn't like Cupid at first, but got into it after I saw their dance practice video. I like Mama Mia better, but Cupid wasn't bad. They're still a good group and the new member did help this group. I wonder when their contracts are up? I think, with older groups, it will be interesting to see if they renew.

    ReplyDelete
  132. I really liked mama mia. Still listen to it. I agree about their coordi. Im not feeling any of their fashion this promotion cycle.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Yes I understand, and I have no problem signing the petition if not for the fact I would feel a bit hypocritical? I eat meats - pork, chicken, beef etc. daily and there are horrible accounts of their treatment and a lot of the time even worse than that tradition you have mentioned. Again, I'd love to support the cause if someone would tell me what's the difference between how these dogs are treated and how other animals are treated everyday?

    ReplyDelete
  134. Well I was gonna comment about the whole Kara thing , but now I think I would feel like an ass ...

    ReplyDelete
  135. i don't feel this song. its pretty plain and it just not belong to Kara :/

    ReplyDelete
  136. Those dogs are stolen from their owners and boiled alive.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Didn't even get to hear the song yet. 😓

    ReplyDelete
  138. That for small farmers. Most meats are produced by big named companies in factory farms, and they treat their animals horribly. Chickens live in cooped up places with no ventilation in the dark. They feed them chemically genetic foods that fatten them up in a rate that chickens should not be growing at. Most chickens die before the actual killings. And don't get me started on cows.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Ehh actually they did sell 13k albums in 6 days and Cupid is still Top 50 on the majority of music charts. So I wouldn't say it did THAT bad

    ReplyDelete
  140. In the end, they still make a lot of money with international promotions and Cupid has a chance of surpassing Mamma Mia if they stay in the Top 100 for a few more weeks

    ReplyDelete
  141. Cupid is on every chart minus Monkey3 what are you talking about

    ReplyDelete
  142. Dog are delicious tho, why you gotta be so rude?

    ReplyDelete
  143. cows are sacred to Hindus, not all Indians. There are other religions in India that allow people to eat beef. Islam, Sikhism, Christianity, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  144. It's expected I think? I always love Kara's songs because they have this catchy beat or something... but Cupid is such a messy song tbh. It doesn't have any tune that I can usually recall/hum when I heard a song for the first time. It just simply.. bland at max. Their latest Japanese songs are 10000x waaaaay better.

    ReplyDelete
  145. This made me really really sad.

    ReplyDelete
  146. Since i can't reply to the OP, pardon me.
But i wish we can be this heartfeeling and compassionate with issues concerning HUMAN BEINGS.
Muslims in Borma are being slaughtered and prosecuted by the "barbaric" and "horrific" not so peaceful Buddhist "extremists" supported by the government of Myanmar. They are being forced out to the sea, and they are stock there with the neighboring countries refusing to provide refugee-camps.
Just google Myanmar Muslims and see the images by your own eyes, i have to warn you it's completely graphic. I don't undrstand why this isn't treated as the holocaust... Wait i know why because theyare muslims...

    ReplyDelete
  147. I think that's ONU's work? Idk if I can do anything but I sign almost every things of these on facebook. BOTH animal's and human's issues.

    ReplyDelete
  148. LalaSmugglingyourishviaFedex.June 17, 2015 at 2:24 PM

Just because other animals are treated unfairly does not mean that other have to suffer the same fate. We get it, everyone always brings it up. Yes, yes, pork, chickens, and every other animal mass produced suffer a great deal of pain getting from the slaughter house to our plate. But people are also fighting for their rights to be treated fairly. I don't know why you need a justification as to why you should sign just so you don't feel hypocritical.. This dogs are killed horribly. Today is for them tomorrow it will for some of the other animals. ONe step at a time. I wish people would stop thinking like you. Welp some other animals suffer too, what can you do? Welp not until other animals are treated fairly. Welp poor dogs, but damn those cows sure suffer more. GEeezz

    ReplyDelete
  149. Except SNSD is still going strong.

    ReplyDelete
  150. You can talk about it, make it known, do what the media is refusing to do.

  151. Personally I don't like the song, but I like the dance. The thing that made made ugh about this is really, the concept... Outfits are a huge no for me.

  152. i think so, i prefer natural enviroment stock farming and in my religion we pray as gratitude before turning them into a meat.
But as customers we cant know how they treated before become meat, still at least i pray before eat them.

  153. They actually already had contract renewal. Its why Nicole and Jiyoung are gone - they both chose to part ways when their contracts expired.

  154. I think it's just not the right time. Should have comeback with the other girl groups. Then they might have stood out.

    Exo vs bigbang. Too fierce.

  156. [+178, -44] Youngji honestly isn't a face to draw in that many fans, her plastic surgery is too obvious. This comeback album was such a failure on all levels from visuals to the song.

poor youngji :( i can see that she is working hard on variety shows but i can see why sometime hardwork cant be enough! Not a fan of KARA but Mamamia was so good (was that succesful) but cupid was just bleh. hope Kara will bounce back!

  158. " KARA's status in Kpop did improve after Youngji came " no .

  161. The worst they have ever done tho. The first week is when people make the most, meaning they will barely sell 15k overall...which is worse than their last mini.

  162. "refresh"... "status improved"... I hope people could stop saying stuff like these in every article because it is obviously not true...........

  163. they trying new direction with this comeback by working with different people but i think sweetune still the only producer who can create great music that suit kara really well..i hope someday they will work together again

  164. Not a Japanese Single lol it's a full length Japanese album. The album dropped on k2n last night but yeah it's their 5th Japanese Studio album.

  165. it is kinda funny people are saying that they did soooo bad this time and it is almost time for disbandmentwhen they are just doing as bad as usual lol Really the girls need to make money with international promotions to keep them alive instead of promoting in Korea for a longer period of time...

  166. DSP really need to thank the fact that Kara is popular in Japan, they totally screwed up one of their best group.
