Instiz: SM's strong handling of the Mers virus
With this concert being TVXQ's last before Yunho's enlistment, the concert sold out extremely fast and fans were upset with the lack of tickets. International and domestic fans alike were also worried that the entire concert would be canceled considering the situation with Mers.
SM then put out a list of accommodations they'll be making to prevent its spread:
1. Concert goods/merch will be available for purchase online rather than at an offline booth (fans won't have to wait in line all night)
2. For people who want to cancel tickets in fear of Mers, there will be no cancellation fee up to the date of the concert.
3. A professional disinfection company was hired to sterilize major entrances to the concert hall.
4. A heat sensor has been installed at the main entrance gate. Anyone caught with an above average temperature will be brought to medical staff on site and restricted from entering the concert.
5. Hand sanitizers available all throughout the concert hall.
6. As mentioned earlier, medical staff will be available inside the concert for faster response times to medical emergencies.
