[Pann] Sehun and Chanyeol like pictures of Rolex watches on Instagram

Pann: Is EXO Sehun really this thoughtless?

"Last year and February this year he liked pictures of Rolex watches on Instagram so fans bought a 23 million won Rolex on his birthday. While other idols are careful about mentioning things because they don't want their fans to buy it for them, kids like him are publicly liking things on a public Instagram account..

Fine, he has every right to like what he wants but why would he go and like another picture after receiving a fan gift? Is he saying 'Hey, buy me this too'? ㅋㅋㅋ Is he immature or just thoughtless..."

-

1. [+194, -23] It doesn't matter what his intentions are. He knows how many followers he has and how much influence he has on his fans. He might not be outright asking them to buy it for him but it's indirectly the same thing as what U-KISS did too ㅋㅋㅋ Just because he's of a higher level doesn't mean his low class mindset changes. The only thing that changes is his class in the gifts he wants ㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+193, -14] Whether he meant it or not, it's true that he wasn't careful with his actions.

3. [+179, -16] If he was going to buy it for himself, he would've done so. Why would he be sitting there liking a picture? I personally have a positive opinion of Sehun but this doesn't seem right. Fans will obviously want to buy it for him, he knows that every one of them is watching him. He needs to be more careful.

4. [+74, -5] Sehun: If I press like, fans will buy this for me huhuhu -> fans never bought it for him -> aish, I won't give up! I will press like on every Rolex picture, then fans will surely see it, I'm a genius! -> spams like on pictures (buy! this! for! me!) -> fans buy it for them -> profit!

5. [+72, -0] Just stop buying celebrities gifts ㅜㅜㅜㅜ These people have more than enough money and I personally like Sehun but stop buying him stuff... Buying him stuff like this will only make his habits worse. He drives a Benz for crying out loud, why shouldn't he buy his own Rolex too..

6. [+69, -0] Sehun and Chanyeol seem sly like this but they're both dumb so people end up seeing right through them. Can't believe they'd be so obvious.

7. [+63, -2] Clear difference in character between kids like Suho and Xiumin and Sehun and Chanyeol. People of such different life morals rarely mix like this in real life but these kids were bundled up together as a business contract by their agency, I can't imagine they'll last that long..

8. [+61, -1] Wow Sehun, what a humble wishlist. How about you like pictures of foreign cars next time instead.

9. [+59, -6] He'd literally be nothing if he wasn't an idol. Please use your brain.

10. [+57, -1] Yeah he could've just pressed like without any intention but... he should know how many followers he has, I wouldn't be able to just do whatever I wanted on SNS knowing I had that many. He should be more careful.

-

Pann: Chanyeol followed Rolex's Instagram

1. [+225, -72] They're both so weird, what's wrong with them? Seriously hopeless

2. [+221, -67] Why else do you think they press likes on these pictures on Instagram... am I the only one disappointed in them?

3. [+133, -6] Even if they didn't mean it, they know that fans will see it and want to buy it for them as gifts. They're celebrities, they should know how they're perceived by everyone else. Japan's Johnny's puts a restriction on the type of luxury gifts their artists receive but SM just lets them keep everything.

4. [+63, -3] I'm at a loss for words because it doesn't matter whether they had no intentions behind their likes. They know the influence they have as celebrities and they should know how acting like this would be perceived by the public.

5. [+58, -7] I wonder if other idols are like this? Just curious

6. [+43, -7] Meanwhile fans bought Suho a watch worth 10 million won and after he found out about the price, he returned it back to the fans.

  11. But mainly the directors involved are NOT the ones that are working with BigBang/YG anyway.

However it seems to have affected them enough that YG released an article naming each director of their MVs which is unusual and I guess that shows how much this mess was starting to burn YG/BB and in turn how keen fans are to spread the word because what is going on with JYP and directors has nothing to do with the YG and their directors.

  16. "No one deserves to be physically and mentally abused" Really? Is that what you truly thinks? Are you that naive? What if there's a woman who cheats on her husband, got pregnant, make her husband pay for the bastard child and then divorce him and takes half of his properties? "No one deserves it" what if there's a man who rapes a little girl since she is 5 years old all the way till she is 18, and then threaten her that he will post her nudes and sex tape online? "No one deserves it" yea well go fuck yourself you social justice warrior.

  18. they suffer loss because they have to reschedule 2pm's activities even concerts.. concerts mean a lot of $$$.. ofc they're finding a new director now but they can't just let this go. Would you let someone who has done damage to you go free?

  19. Her getting beaten is a much more serious and grave matter but we all know she was a victim of assault. Is there a point to keep repeating the same sentiments every time this saga develops a new chapter? Like, if we keep calling KHJ an asshole or trash, will it somehow ~heal the world~. KHJ is a cut and dried case. The woman is more intriguing to me. Forgive me if I don't like dishing out platitudes like the rest of you social justice warriors.

    ReplyDelete
  20. yeah but you also need to consider standard practice within the industry. In actuality, the court do have to consider this factor and taken it into consideration when delivering the judgement later on. and from what I understand, mutual understanding between two parties prior to the contracts is enough to establish pre-contract obligation that need to be adhered to in many part of the world, but I dont know about Korea though. all in all, IMO even if JYP ended up losing the suit because of this, no one in their right mind will have anything to do with this MV director after this for their lack of decorum and adherence to standard practice within the industry.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Can't believe people like her lives in Korea!! Such a monster!!

    ReplyDelete
  22. thats why that director try to slip away from this using contract as an excuse, but meeting record and fax from director side i hope enough as proof.

    ReplyDelete
  23. again I already read that as well, and like I siad before there was NO reasong for JYP to say they had a contraact whne they did not, that the real problem here as well. This may only bring him more problwm like I siad it called defamation

    ReplyDelete
  24. yeah it seem like that

    ReplyDelete
  25. actually it happent he same with kim jiyong, they had contact wiht JYP and had plant, but JYJ changed it and he did no agree, so he just decided to NOT continue wiht the project, that thye have meet does not mean they actually where ging to do the project do

    ReplyDelete
  26. idk how verbal contract works when it took out in court since it's not my field. but my comment above just point out maybe they have verbal contracts since some companies or agencies still do it like cjes did sometimes ago.
but, verbal contract basically just an oral agreement. like when he said yes, even tho not signing on papers, that's mean he agreed to it. on simple note, like a spoken promise, but have some law in it.

    ReplyDelete
  27. no issues with kim ji yong because the reason was they didnt met mutual understanding and both side already said it.

but its another case with han sa min, the concept etc already done even han sa min side already fax about production cost, but suddenly drop it and said about personal reason as excuse, obviously he thinks he can slip away from this because there is no contract yet.

    ReplyDelete
  34. maybe but when the director states the reason for canceling is due to another groups comeback and they cancel just 4 days before filming...it seems purposeful. They should have known the schedules before then and never agreed to the filming in the first place. And the statement about the cancellation didn't even say it was because they were working with the other group, just that both were scheduled to promote at the same time.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I guess the director for Got7's video is simply trying to clarify since the press statement made it sound like they were also at fault. But yeah JYP needs to sue the hell out of the other director. So unprofessional, if you have a conflicting interest or schedule don't accept a job!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  44. And that picture is likely photoshopped anyway, Jessica Gomes has paparazzi taking bikini pics of her all the time and she's never been pudgy. Probably an anti-fan trying to make her look bad. Also, wasn't she on Dancing With The Stars around the time of that commercial? So yeah, she's not that fat and probably never has been. It's difficult for tall women to gain weight like that.

I agree, it's extremely misleading. I don't know who needs to create all sorts of mess, fanwars etc. but lately we see more or less obvious cases of dragging Bigbang into stuff they're unrelated to. In the previous article many of the above comments were aimed at YG and Bigbang. Now they say "its not about Got7 MV but about 2PM"... how about saying "sorry, we were wrong to make assumptions too quickly"? Bigbang made a comeback after several years and as far as I see they're minding their own business to bring the best music to their fans. They don't need to hinder anyone in their work.

I hope 2PM will find a good director for their video and that their comeback will be successful, as I know many of their fans are eagerly anticipating it. If their songs are good, nobody can deny it and nobody can stop people from listening to them.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Nana isn't underweight. If you want to see real underweight people go to isolated villages in Africa. You'll be surprised.

  47. Засранцы.

  48. Disagree on Nana somewhat (I think the praise for her looks/body is over the top) but I am here for you with Jiyoon. Her face is smouldering at times. I see why people may not find her attractive but I think she is beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  49. After 2PM’s promotional period, GOT7 was supposed to take over the baton, but with 2PM’s comeback being postponed, GOT7 is also naturally pushed back. The Agase (GOT7’s fan club) now also have a longer way to go until they see GOT7.
Eventually, JYPE pulled out the publicity and the legal action card. On May 11th, JYPE announced through their official website that Han Samin “4 days before the Music Video filming and production, he one-sidedly announced the halt of production.” JYPE also said that “it is customary to carry out the contract negotiations right before the MV filming, or during it,“ and the company argued that „due to such irresponsible behavior of the production staff we are now in a difficult situation where 2PM’s music video planning, filming schedule, music track release, promotion and marketing details must be arranged anew.”
Here it mentions GOT7 as well

    ReplyDelete
  54. what i meant to say is, i want Nana's body type cuz in general, they are easy to dress and would look good even in a burlap sack. having a curvy body is not everything, in my case (i cant talk for everyone who share the same body type as mine curvy & pear shape). hence the tree trunk comment.

    ReplyDelete
  55. SnapIntoASlimJimMay 14, 2015 at 7:18 PM

They're not "easy to dress". You're just going shopping in the wrong places.

    ReplyDelete
  56. She's not saying that she has curves. She's saying that you don't necessarily need to be curvy to be considered sexy or feminine.

It's fucked up because it is, in fact, a form of body shaming. Skinny people have just as much control over their body shape as overweight or "curvy" people. You can't help the body shape you're born into so it's a little rude to say someone is less attractive or less of a female for something they can't control.

    ReplyDelete
  57. SnapIntoASlimJimMay 14, 2015 at 11:01 PM

"She's saying that you don't necessarily need to be curvy to be considered sexy or feminine"

If you are referring to "sexy" and "feminine" specifically in regards to the physical, then yes curvy will always be more sexy and feminine.

"It's fucked up because it is, in fact, a form of body shaming"

Stop throwing that empty "body shaming" label around. This media pushes relentlessly lies about women who underweight as supposedly the epitome of feminine beauty and women who are not underweight as "fat" and that they need to lose weight but you lay the blame on the truth tellers.

"Secondary sex characteristics are the physical developments you gain during puberty preparing you for adulthood"

You obviously don't know what "secondary sex characteristics" are.

    "Calm down."

No, you're the one that needs to calm down as you are the one that decided to jump into this discussion simply because you don't like the fact that people are calling out others who are saying that people have curves that they don't have.

    "Please get your facts right"

This coming from a person that doesn't even know what "secondary sex characteristics" are.

    ReplyDelete
  58. i wish there is that magical place but ultimately, you need to work with what you have. but that didnt stop me from wishing a well proportionate body like Nana or Miranda Kerr's. maybe in next life;]

i used to experiment a lot with clothing style when i was in college. these days i just stick to designs that flatter my body shape and darker colours. not to mention to dress for the weather too since im working in tropical country now.

on a deeper note, fashion and outward appearance is not everything.

    ReplyDelete
  59. RealLy? Why the fuck do white chicks risk skin cancer to tan to a burnt crips orange finish then??? Lmao. Sit yo ass down.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Well clearly we can't agree because I don't thing there needs to be a specific body shape that determines how feminine or sexy you are.

Yes it is body shaming. The phrase is being thrown around in the media because it exists not because it is exaggerated or it's a fad, as clearly seen by what you've said in your previous comments. One body shape doesn't need to be superior over the other. Sex appeal/beauty is subjective. It doesn't need to conform to one ideal. By saying that it does makes you no better than the people that say that they only exclusively like skinny women.

Jesus Christ, WHERE in my comment did I say that underweight people are better? I just said that you don't need to say that people are only considered sexually attractive if they're curvy because that just makes lankier/thinner people feel like they're less of a woman, which they're not.
I'm a size 12-14 (Australian)/ size 8-10 (US), so no I'm not some underweight person trying to say that underweight people are better.

Also, what is your definition of secondary sex characteristics???? Because I'm about 99% sure the physical developments in your body during puberty (e.g. breasts, pubic hair and wider hips for women) are secondary sex characteristics.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Also, skinny is not what is pushed by the media these days. Have you seen what's on TV??? Big butts, big breasts and curves are in. Skinny shaming is a thing.

It might not be in a lot of parts in Asia but everywhere else, it's most definitely running rampant within the industry.

    ReplyDelete
  62. Asians in general tend to be not as big-boned as Westerners, so naturally they will look thinner. You do realise that most, if not all, profile weights are not true?

    ReplyDelete
  63. SnapIntoASlimJimMay 15, 2015 at 3:58 PM

Are you claiming there is no such thing as underweight Asian females? Are you claiming that East Asian media does not call women that are not fat "fat"?

    ReplyDelete
  64. SnapIntoASlimJimMay 15, 2015 at 4:22 PM

You are suffering from body issues. Miranda Kerr is underweight. Most straight men do not find a woman like Miranda Kerr attractive. You confuse the media pushing these underweight female bodies as supposedly the highest form of beauty with what actual straight men are really attracted to.

    Nana is completely curveless.

"i wish there is that magical place"

The fact that you mentioned Miranda Kerr and use nonsensical terms like "proportionate" in regards to women's bodies proves my point that you are going shopping in the wrong places. You are looking to the fashion industry as if it were how women should look. This industry is run by gay men so the women are forced to be underweight in order to make them look as unfeminine as possible. The grand majority of straight men are not attracted to these women.

There are plenty of places that have clothes for women that underweight. Do research rather than force yourself into the standards that are against women in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  65. SnapIntoASlimJimMay 15, 2015 at 4:26 PM

"Also, skinny is not what is pushed by the media these days"

Yes, it is. The highest paid and most successful actresses are almost never curvy. The highest paid female models in the world are underweight (i.e. fashion models) which includes Victoria Secret models who are constantly shoved down the public's throat as the ultimate kind of woman and are offered the best media coverage.

What you see about "big butts, breasts and curves" are exceptions that mostly exist in the music world from individual artists. The mainstream media in general is not behind them.

    ReplyDelete
  66. SnapIntoASlimJimMay 15, 2015 at 4:45 PM

" It doesn't need to conform to one ideal."

I never said it did. However, people are calling women who not curvy "curvy". That's a lie. It also proves that curves are more attractive because why else would people talk about a women with a flat butt, flat chest, no hips and chicken legs "curvy"? Because they know the very concept is more physically attractive in females so they want to distort the meaning in order to include women that actually don't fit that description.

It's like saying a short guy is "tall". Ridiculous.

"Jesus Christ, WHERE in my comment did I say that underweight people are better?"

When did I say you did.

"I just said that you don't need to say that people are only considered
sexually attractive if they're curvy because that just makes
lankier/thinner people feel like they're less of a woman"

It shouldn't. A woman can still have other attractive features like being kind, interesting, talented, caring, of strong character, comfortable in their own skin, etc... which goes a long way for guys.

And frankly speaking, they can also be skilled in the bedroom more than their many of their curvy counterparts. Really good skills in the bedroom also goes a long way.

"Also, what is your definition of secondary sex characteristics???? "

You're much closer in this post. As you said, the development of breasts, wider hips, plumper backsides, etc... however it's specifically means that they are the physical features that distinguishes a man from a woman and why men find women with ample secondary sex characteristics more physically attractive because they are more physically feminine. That's just a fact. Those are the parts that "matter" which is what my whole point was in mentioning it in the first place.

There are women that don't develop these (e.g. having flat behinds, flat chests, etc...). There are women that do have them but then lost them when they are underweight. This is what the fashion industry does because it is run by gay men who by definition are not attracted to physical femininity so they force women to be underweight as it reduces their secondary sex characteristics.

    ReplyDelete
  67. jeez girl, proportionate and underweight are two different things. and being too preachy on the internet is a big turn off. go back after you learn the differences between being underweight and a "proportionate" body

and not everyone shares the same standard of beauty. bye now

    ReplyDelete
  68. There are, but it is not as prevalent as you think. Are you expecting Asians of a healthy weight to look like Westerners of a healthy weight? What even defines your category of underweight? What defines your category of "fat"?

    ReplyDelete
  69. I do love me some Bomi.

    ReplyDelete
  70. What defines your category of "underweight" and "fat"? Underweight Asian females who are of a weight below what is considered healthy are not as many as you think. If you consider the female bodies in the Korean industry to be distorted, then the (some) of the body types in the West must be considered distorted too. How is the body of Kim Kardashian considered "natural"?

You cannot force a Western ideal in an relatively homogenous Asian society.
