K-nets debate whether EXID's controversy is a big deal or not
Article: EXID reps, "It's regretful what happened... but we won't be taking legal action" statement

1. [+5,677, -863] Makes me realize that the 'Abnormal Summit' MCs copying the pronunciations of the panelists is racist...
2. [+4,809, -591] They said they were going to take legal action but after people started calling them out on media play, they change their minds ㅋ
3. [+4,144, -376] Yeah, because people were calling them out for media play ㅋㅋ
- Funny because when you look on YouTube, people from all over the world are calling TMZ an embarrassment and demanding that they apologize. It's actually the Koreans who are denying the racism and acting like EXID is trying to make themselves out to be the victims. Talk about backwards thinking.
- I do think that taking legal action would've been going overboard but I hate how Koreans think that this isn't a big deal and that their own Korean getting hate is nothing.
- By people from all over the world, you surely mean K-Pop fans. That doesn't make them people from all over the world because I doubt actual non-K-Pop fans care about the issue at all to look up the video and comment on it.
4. [+3,730, -409] They must've read the comments ㅋㅋㅋ Let's stop with the media play now
5. [+860, -47] They don't have to do anything, TMZ is already getting sh*t on by foreigners
6. [+642, -56] EXID's company is so stupid ㅋㅋㅋ
7. [+606, -80] Does their company not think that excessive media play is bad?
8. [+502, -44] It honestly wasn't that big of a deal... but EXID's company media played so much over it

Article: EXID's racism controversy, is it a big deal or not?
Source: OSEN via Nate
1. [+300, -34] It might not be a big deal to foreigners but it is a big deal to us... EXID's getting into all sorts of crap now that they're popular.. fighting.
2. [+257, -26] I'm sure EXID doesn't care since it's an opportunity for noise marketing for them and getting their name in the headlines... but in America, racism is a serious criminal offense. In America, as long as you have proof, you can get them punished for racism... we're talking about a country with black people rioting against the white police right now for racism.
3. [+232, -27] Just think of it this way... if they would be offended if Koreans treated them the same way, then it is a big deal.
4. [+26, -8] Americans are calling it a big deal but Koreans are telling EXID to stop media playing
5. [+20, -8] If it wasn't such a big deal, then why would Amber speak out on SNS like that?
6. [+18, -5] These girls were just made a fool of, why isn't it a big deal? Legal action may not be required but people should be put down if they think mocking people like this is okay.
7. [+16, -6] We were mocked and Koreans still refuse to think it's a big deal ㅜ
8. [+15, -3] First of all, this is racism. I have a friend who lived in America and she said she's received similar treatment in the past. This is punishable by law and judging by the reactions of Americans, this is a big deal.
9. [+12, -1] I'm sure it's difficult for us to judge the nuance and racism of what they're saying in the video but English speakers have confirmed that they were being racist. I read comments and even Americans were demanding an apology..
