Mother caught trying to lie for son who caused fatal car accident

A 31 year old man hit another car, causing the driver (55 years old) to die and his sister (54) to be injured. The man called his mother to the scene and fled. Once police arrived, the mother lied to them saying she was the driver who caused the accident. Police thought it was suspicious how she wasn't injured at all and received other witness accounts of the driver being male and eventually arrested her son who claimed he was drowsy behind the wheel.
