[Pann] Feedback on Red Velvet's plagiarism accusations

Pann: Feedback on Red Velvet's suspicions of plagiarism

Pann talks about Red Velvet being accused of plagiarism for filming their music video in the same location with the same actions as B1A4's 'Solo Day'. The OP brings up Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - 'Ride the Tiger' music video where:

1. Has a scene with an open car on an empty road

2. Close up scenes of the members leaning against the edge of the car

3. Eating at the diner (what else would you do at a diner?)

4. The members riding a shopping cart: In B1A4's video, Gongchan is pushing one near a supermarket. No member is seen inside of it until another scene where they have a member inside a wheel barrow of sorts. Meanwhile in Red Velvet's music video, Yeri is riding the shopping cart in the middle of a desert.

5. On the accusation of similar props: The second picture is the filming location without any of SM's props added in for Wendy's scene.

1. [+162, -19] The filming location is a famous place with classic scenes that you can find in 5 out of 10 foreign music videos. How can you accuse a group of plagiarism just for riding a car and eating at a diner? That filming location was made for those type of scenes.

2. [+147, -18] So did B1A4 plagiarize this music video too then? And what do you expect a scene in a diner to be about other than eating? And in the shopping cart accusations, B1A4 isn't even riding a shopping cart but a wheel barrow while Red Velvet is actually inside the shopping cart.

3. [+131, -9] Any movie or music video with a car scene in it will have these scenes, you can't call that plagiarism.

4. [+62, -1] B1A4 isn't even riding the shopping cart in that cap ㅋㅋ and the one scene where a member is in a wheel barrow, they're at a beach, a completely different scene. It's not similar to Red Velvet's scene where Yeri's in a cart at all.

5. [+55, -7] You can write this all you want but no one will read it. All the whiny Banas who started this mess and spread it everywhere need to give us feedback.

6. [+46, -3] Dumb fans trying to act like they own a famous tourist spot

7. [+39, -9] I never watch idol stuff but I checked both out after hearing all this plagiarism talk. They're both very different. Red Velvet's music video is centered around that location while B1A4 just visits and goes, like a brief stay. And many singers use that scene where they're singing on an open road in their car. To someone who doesn't care about either groups, the music videos aren't the same and they both have good songs.

8. [+36, -4] Banas are totally being caught off guard ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Hilarious
