[Pann] Moments of 2014 that gave Koreans hope

Pann: Moments of hope that 2014 gave us

It's been a rough year in 2014... A lot of heart breaking things happened that will make it hard to keep 2014 in our memories.. but despite it all, there were still days that still made us smile.

-

A race without a last place: The children of Yongil Jeil Elementary School opted to run hand in hand with a fellow classmate suffering from achondrogenesis at their school athletic competition.

-

A man who gave life to 100: A man in his fifties living in Jinju was able to donate his organs to 100 different people after passing away. Because organ donation is not accepted without consent from family, he had made sure before his passing that his family would donate his organs.

-

The Ice Bucket challenge: showed what a positive thing charity can be for society. Although it was a famous person who started it, the challenge showed that anyone and everyone could participate in it.

-

Character is worth more than physical property: A 7 year old boy was pulling a wheelbarrow cart of recyclable items for his grandmother when he accidentally scratched a parked Audi. The Audi owner, however, did not get mad and calmed the child down who was apologizing for his mistake and apologized himself for his car being in his way.

Once the story went viral online and reached the ears of 'Audi Korea', the company fixed his car up for free.

-

The Moses Miracle: Clips of an ambulance on its way to the hospital with a patient in critical condition shows an entire highway parting the road.

Once the clip was passed around on TV, it filled everyone with hope that everyone can be a part of an effort no matter how big or small to make a difference in someone's life.
