[Instiz] TS girl group SONAMOO picks 'pearl sapphire green' as official color

Instiz: The reason SHINee's fandom is up in arms right now

TS Entertainment is getting so much hate already but they go ahead and choose 'pearl sapphire green' as the official color for their rookie girl group SONAMOO.

"What do you even expect from TTrash anyway?"

"I get that there are no more colors available to choose from now but why can't groups be like Block B and choose a pattern instead of a specific color?"

"I remember there was a fandom that had a multiple mix of colors and they still got hated on from all the fandoms of their colors."

"Ugh... this sucks. Mint is specifically SHINee's color."

"I know that fans are sensitive to fandom colors but there are only so many colors in the world and I think it's inevitable that some will overlap... I understand that SHINee fans will be mad but it's not like these companies have a choice either when there are more idols than there are colors."

"TS really has a knack for picking similar colors..."

"I actually think the color matches their name SONAMOO"

"It's upsetting but color is getting meaningless in a generation where there are so many idols.."

"What do you expect from TS. They haven't even resolved anything with BAP and they're running around on Twitter so shamelessly.

"This pisses me off ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ SHINee has used that color for forever... are they purposely picking this color for noise marketing? Or did the company really not research the color before picking it?"

"The color is exactly the same to SHINee's.."

"I dare them to try and promote with that color, really."

"Why can't they just pick a pattern instead of a single solid color."

"SHINee's might be called pearl aqua green in name but at places like Dream Concert where all of the lights are off, I doubt the difference will be noticeable at all. Light sticks and balloons will reflect the same color which is why SHINee fans are so sad ㅠㅠ"

"SHINee fans are more sensitive to this right now because Key said on a Japanese broadcast that he misses and wants to see their 50,000 fans holding pearl aqua lightsticks at the Tokyo Dome soon..."

  3. there are only so many colors to pick from

a nugu girlgroup having the same color is not going to harm shinee. they probably won't even perform at the same events most of the time

    ReplyDelete
  4. They haven't earned an official color yet

    ReplyDelete
  5. Shawols puhlease. that is not Shinees color. Shinee's color is more green than that.

  8. Fandom colour is so important, especially in concert oceans. Not only does it represent the identity of the idol/group and its fans, it can potentially cause confusion for the idols; giving fanservice to fans who aren't exactly your fans... But as far as it goes, fans are handling the situation decently.

It's not the first time tbh, we had the same issue with ZE:A.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Then pick a damn pattern like block b

    ReplyDelete
  10. I don't get the whole colour thing but that doesn't mean they're not justified in getting angry, because they know the reason why it means so much to them, even if I dont.

also, I think one of the reasons fan colours are so sensitive is because if you're going to a joint concert and both the fandoms have the same colours the fans will be sad that their idols can't see just how much they're being supported because everyone will just blend.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Actually there are already several groups using this color already, but I'm extremely proud that it's recognized as SHINee's

    ReplyDelete
  12. I agree that going with a pattern would've been a better idea; as most are saying there are no more colors to choose from. Having a similar color to a big group like Shinee will only harm SONAMOO's identity.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Yeah, but think of the production of lightsticks. The colours are so close it can't be easy to tell the difference. It is, in retrospect, "SHINee's colour". It represents them, and it represents us shawols. The main reason why it's brought up is it CAN potentially cause confusion.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Was it that hard to pick a dark forest green? xD

    ReplyDelete
  15. I don't like TS, nor do I care about this group, but why are SM-staned group fandoms always upset over such simple things? It's not like they will both be at an SMTown concert or anything and the glowsticks are the same, just get over it. It's like Suju Fans complaining over WINNER's color when it isn't even one color, it changes. God, do you people really have nothing else to complain about, a color really? Get a life you fucking psychos.

  154. (Where the f is my comment) It is not. For colour, maybe. But I already said pattern, which you can easily find a new one.

  155. I'm honestly so surprised at how immature these shawols are being, and I thought they were calm people.

    ReplyDelete
  156. calm the fuck down lmao

    ReplyDelete
  157. Well too bad because they are probably still going to use it so complaining won't really change anything. People should just move on.

    ReplyDelete
  158. I think it wouldn't matter if the shade of the color weren't so similar. Like SNSD's pink a pastel pink and Nu'est's is a hot pink and no one cares

    ReplyDelete
  159. 'I dare them to try and promote with that color, really.'

TS really should give up if they read this comment the same way I did...

    ReplyDelete
  160. it's not about immaturity tbh. every established fandom has done, and will do, the same.

hot, shinhwa, ses, tvxq, super junior, seo taiji, ss501, csjh, and snsd have all had issues in recent years of their fandoms protecting their colors from rookies.

  161. First World Problems -_-

    ReplyDelete
  162. people shouldnt fight for colors.

  163. there have been several cases in the past where companies cave to fandom outrage and change their rookie's color.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Kpop colorful because of obsessive fandom, their colors or idols fanservice etc.. So many people like kpop because of kpop world difference from than our countries music industry. If some nugu girl group want to mediaplay and stole SHINee's color of course this is big issue because fandom colors and their lightsticks give our idol's stage energy. if this is childish ok I will accept being childish!

    ReplyDelete
  165. bla bla my poor oppars

    ReplyDelete
  166. Shawols=shallow

    ReplyDelete
  167. Jeez... How can people be so pressed about colors. SHINee must be embarassed by this. Sigh..

    ReplyDelete
  168. Well if they change it good for shinee fans if not, move on

    ReplyDelete
  169. Until TS does right by BAP I want to see all of their ventures go down in flames. They really think they are cute pissing off Babyz by ripping off BAP's image and matoki and giving it to these girls ( I guess trying to tell Babyz that BAP are easily replacebable) and now they are trying it with Shawols. Screw them. It is impossible to support a group without supporting their company as well so DaughterMoo and Secret are dead to me.

  170. fandoms for h.o.t, sechs kies, seo taiji, csjh, ss501, s.e.s, shinhwa, tvxq, super junior, snsd, and fin.k.l/lee hyori have all done the same.

    ReplyDelete
  171. Except we aren't? We're now coming off as immature because of a few comments that a few kfans let go of, and a lot of them handled the situation as maturely as possible.
This was already spread within the fandom before this article was translated, and the fandom has been entirely placid about the issue, if you see the colour TS chose for sonamoo (bottom one, the top one is the colour Star Empire chose for ZE:A, who had another colour but changed to that shade), it's SO close to SHINee's colour. It's sad to see people coming up to a generalized conclusion about a fandom who, up until this article was posted, figuratively didn't care about this issue.

    ReplyDelete
  172. haha stay pressed fangirls

    ReplyDelete
  173. generally the group will support the fandom's outrage in a situation like this because the color symbolizes so much to them. there have been cases where the group will as the fans to calm down, but usually only when the fighting has gone on for too long and/or becomes too violent.

    ReplyDelete
  174. The are many places in the worl (mostly the U.S) where people die over the colours they display.

    ReplyDelete
  175. No, me too... concerned about it for yrs hahaha ...would like to see them getting married, with many little kids XD

    ReplyDelete
  176. ow shit! Cassies are cray (some)

    ReplyDelete
  177. NB needs to edit the article and post this photo to see why some kfans were reacting like that, because the colour TS chose really is so damn close to SHINee's.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Omg it's a colour is going to get rid of poverty? And I wasn't talking about you all just b the knetz on article.

    ReplyDelete
  179. If it's immaturity or childish act yeah I will accept these words but fandom colors and lightsticks give idol's stage energy and you can see happiness through their eyes when they see so many lightstick belong their fandom in the concert area. And one more thing, so many Big Bang fan in here and if I remember correct many Big Bang fan attend mama and in here international big bang fans so proud because in the audience they can see so many lighsticks and yellow color which belong to Bigbang fandom. So do you get it the issue now??

    ReplyDelete
  180. glad that sonamoo didn't use CNBlue color... and yes a different pattern would be a better choice.

  181. Whose concert is this?

    ReplyDelete
  182. Well then everybody who got butthurt over a colour is immature

    ReplyDelete
  183. csjh stole it from Baby V.O.X

    ReplyDelete
  184. yellow belongs to sechskies originally. big bang doesn't have an official color.

    ReplyDelete
  185. I'm here to show non-shawols carelessly generalizing us why some of the kfans are upset and here you are talking about poverty ?

    ReplyDelete
  186. stfu you don'n fucking own the color

    ReplyDelete
  187. Lmao it's a never ending argument that's why people should not fight over this

    ReplyDelete
  188. Shinee fans are really sensitive damn.

    ReplyDelete
  189. So if you are bigbang fan, when you see many bigbang lightstick in the venue,do you not proud of BigBang?? Just if you think properly, do you get what I mean.
