MC Mong wins #1 on 'Inkigayo'

Article: 'Inkigayo' MC Mong wins #1 without broadcast promotions

Source: Mydaily via Naver

1. [+14,469, -1,873] Nobody I know listens to MC Mong and always hates on him whenever they get a chance on the internet, who's actually listening to him that he's at the top of digital charts;

2. [+10,497, -1,186] Ironic how everyone hates MC Mong but he's #1 on music shows + digital charts

3. [+10,200, -1,768] It's because there are pathetic people buying the music of a horrible criminal that this monkey is allowed to cosplay as a victim and double his bank account.

4. [+9,418, -1,347] Gives me goose bumps to think that he's probably out there watching this on TV and smiling about it

5. [+1,505, -229] Seriously, who's listening to him ㅡㅡ

6. [+1,374, -186] I've never listened to him once and I refuse to ever in the future

7. [+1,146, -127] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ The MCs reactions and their facial expressions ㅋㅋㅋ I've never seen Kwanghee look like that while annoucning the winner ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+1,127, -133] We live in a world where not everything can be explained by logic

1. [+1,652, -155] I've never listened to it once and even my family and close friends skip the song when they hear it come on, are people really listening to it as much for it to win #1?? Or is this the power of Duble Sidekick?

2. [+1,166, -148] His company seems to be pulling some strings.

3. [+1,048, -135] He's winning #1 through strings...

4. [+65, -6] I really hate him. I didn't watch Inkigayo so I didn't check but his viewer preference points was rock bottom on Music Core.

5. [+62, -7] How can a song no one's listened to win #1? Is he doing sajaegi?

6. [+55, -5] For the first time in my life since being born, I sent text votes for a male idol group. At least B2ST has a decent song, I don't even get MC-Tooth-Extraction. I really didn't think he'd actually win.

7. [+53, -6] I promise I won't attack you so anyone out there who actually likes his songs, please leave a comment somewhere. Everyone around me has either never heard of his song or refuses to listen to him, how is this happening?

    ReplyDelete
  4. He needs to teach others his way, how does he keep winning, pretty impressive

  5. 1. [+14,469, -1,873] Nobody I know listens to MC Mong and always hates on him whenever they get a chance on the internet, who's actually listening to him that he's at the top of digital charts;

Don't forget that you live in a nation of 49+million. He's a scumbag and you may hate him but there's other people out there who honestly seem to be enjoying his music...

    ReplyDelete
  6. Just because no one YOU know listens to his song, doesn't mean he's not popular and nobody in Korea listens to it.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Knetz aren't the only one in s.korea i'm sure a lot of people are listening to his songs looking at the way he's slaying the charts, just not these netizens

  8. Knetz aren't the only one in s.korea i'm sure a lot of people are listening to his songs looking at the way he's slaying the charts, it's just not these netizens

  9. loool at them accusing MC Mong of sajaegi when he got 420k downloads his very first week. People are listening to his music whether you like it or not. Get the fuck over it. And 15,000 likes on a comment do nothing to represent the 50 MILLION people that live in South Korea.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I think his company is doing sajaegi. The song is just OK. Standard hip pop with male rapper and female vocal featuring

he has a lot to prove so I wouldn't be surprised if they did do digital sajaegi

    ReplyDelete
  11. Majority of people who hates him are guys but when I checked melon percentage of people who listen to his music and the result is actually he has more male listeners..

    ReplyDelete
  12. hating while listeting

    ReplyDelete
  13. well its either

    1. Sajaegi or how its spelled like
    2. Ppl do actually buy his song but lie about it

    ReplyDelete
  14. Seriously if they don't listen to him how can he win?

    ReplyDelete
  15. lmao he's still slaying, so whatever

    ReplyDelete
  16. The irony of these broadcast channels who have banned him from ever appearing on television again giving him awards.

    ReplyDelete
  17. anyway i'm waiting for my GOT7's mv, JYP HURRY PLEASEEE

    ReplyDelete
  18. People are listening and buying his music obviously. Doesn't mean they'll admit it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hypocrisy. When SISTAR wins, it's sajaegi, when MC Mong wins it's because people genuinely enjoy his music?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Sorry but I don't understand why netizenbuzz translated this article. There are already articles about MC Mong with the exact same netizen comments.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Those sites are probably full of kids that are in denial because they're actaully listening to his music...

    ReplyDelete
  22. When did I mention sistar? People have their own tastes and once again. 49 million people and netizens don't speak for all of them.

    ReplyDelete
  23. You don't get nearly 30 roof hits on Melon through pulling strings...and selling over 400k first week.. Funny for the first time they are mad the song that is doing well digitally wins over fangirl power.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Mariana Ferreira AlbuquerqueNovember 16, 2014 at 3:09 PM

... Or that people that that person knows probably listen to him in silence to not be criticized.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Male bias. Also, no one who keeps accusing Sistar of cheating wants to think a girl group with no connections to the big 3 actually made it on their own.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Same reason NB still translates T-ara articles.

    ReplyDelete
  27. .. Because she wants to .. ?

    ReplyDelete
  28. I find it hard to believe that songs from his album which are apparently so popular are not being played in the streets of Seoul for these netizens to claim no one they know is listening.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh well... he gets all the hate.. i wonder what happens once Kim Hyun Joong has a comeback.. hope he gets treated the same...

    ReplyDelete
  30. lol... agree w you.. but i think more than enjoying his song, they just curious abt his song(maybe).. so they downloaded it ahhahhaaa i bet many of knetz download his song too but they just keep silent ahahahaa.. you know lah knetz always like to dissed ppl.. most of them

    ReplyDelete
  31. never been so confused abt a win

    ReplyDelete
  32. Absolutely but you don't even need to download it. You can just stream it on melon and one stream or streams are better than no streams

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't think they're accusing you--they're just saying that SISTAR never gets defended when they get sajaegi rumors with "Maybe people actually enjoy their music."

    ReplyDelete
  34. Why are you asking something obv..?

    ReplyDelete
  35. Nobody really cares about KHJ so I doubt he'll get much hate

    ReplyDelete
  36. Do people not realize that comments don't represent an entire nation? That's like saying Yahoo comments represent all of America. We all know there are idiots, teenagers, and no life adults that spend their time commenting on Yahoo articles. The same can be said for large internet portals everywhere else.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh right, but yes. That's also true but I don't think it matters anymore because Sistar is actually growing. Whether people like their concepts or not, there's no denying that they are reaching a high standard bar.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Eh because I don't understand why she wants to translate it.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Oh please I'm not at all surprised that he managed to not only win but stay on top of the charts. Netz might hate him but there's still people who love him and were waiting for his return.

    ReplyDelete
  40. 5. [+62, -7] How can a song no one's listened to win #1? Is he doing sajaegi?

I'm sorry, I just had to do it.. Now I'll just go..

  41. He isn't a criminal and the court deemed him innocent. I also don't understand the mentality of boycotting his music, his personal life and music are different things.
He wouldn't be the first one to do stupid and bad things as a musician, artist, actor ect..

Legendary Varg Vikernes he is still madly popular and a legend/genius in metal scene and has many fans for his MUSIC. Many people including me despise his racist antics, radically violent atheist actions and the fact he is a convicted murderer but still listen to his music.

    ReplyDelete
  42. must sting... to see someone you hate so much completely overtake the charts. and there is nothing. you. can. do. lol

    ReplyDelete
  43. Is his new music any good? Enough to be slaying music shows despite being hated?

    ReplyDelete
  44. The court didn't deem him innocent. He was given a suspended sentence and was found guilty for trying to dodge his draft.

    ReplyDelete
  45. It's not it was entire songs in the album did well.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yes, his album is solid.

    ReplyDelete
  47. lol.. i do that too right now.. streaming on melon...for kyuhyun :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Typical Korean "hip-hop" with a vocalist featuring tbh nothing mind-blowing

    ReplyDelete
  49. [+1,048,, -135] He's winning #1 through strings...
Makes me remember that statement SM made when Luhan left.. Lol

  63. 1. [+14,469, -1,873] Nobody I know listens to MC Mong and always hates on him whenever they get a chance on the internet, who's actually listening to him that he's at the top of digital charts;

thats what you call closet fans. i listen to singers with bad reps too. i just choose to listen to them silently instead of getting moral lectures from other people.

    ReplyDelete
  64. the top 10 digital last week on gaon is all mc mong. thats a whole lot of mmoney they spent then

    ReplyDelete
  65. lol he's a respected musician before this scandal. not surprised he would shoot to #1. but i didn't expect his whole album to take over the charts. i dont think they would buy spots for the whole album.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Congratulations to MC MONG!

YEAH! Get the rest of the trophies mate!

    ReplyDelete
  67. Mongie & sajaegi? Sorry to say, but i dont think so. His song always get a good response before this but since he kinda 'dissapear' for 5 years, new people that enter kpop world didnt know bout it & made assumption he did it.

    ReplyDelete
  68. From my perspective - I listed to the album. Do I like it? YES. I really do .

His album is a breath of fresh air, compared to many albums being released lately. I really thing the songs in it were great, and I felt very immersed in them.

    I'm not surprised he's doing well -

    ReplyDelete
  72. ^^

    Seriously, when will y'all realize

    ReplyDelete
  73. I do realize but sometimes i really think that everyone hates him so much since what he has done wrong is kind of shameful and pathetic, almost 'unforgiveable' according to those netizens. So yeah... Just curious

    ReplyDelete
  74. And um a comment there accuses him of sajaegi too . So happy now? lol

    ReplyDelete
  75. they are the weakest among digital monster when it comes to physical sale which why some people suspicious of them. just look at gaon monthly chart for october, they cant even surpass 10k copies.
their sweet n sour released on august only sold 7006 copies
    gaonchart.co.kr/chart/album.php?f_type=month
last year they cant even fill 3k seats on their concert even after the free give away tickets.

    ReplyDelete
  76. LMAO what a great comment

    ReplyDelete
  77. Disclaimer: This is not my personal opinion.

From what i understand there's been claims that have said that SISTAR's streamings of their albums have always been at "odd" hours meaning in the middle of the night. Meaning that their paying third party comoanies to steam the music to bpost up points. People have also brought up the point that their physical and digital sales are "drastically" different since they excel in digital yet do poorly when it comes to actually album sales. Of course you can't win them all, but I guess the correlation between the two doesn't "add" up. They're a trending group with outstanding digital sales yet barely see over 20 to 30,000 album sales.

    ReplyDelete
  78. I just think it's really funny how their hate is doing nothing . Honestly it's funny how they hate and despise him so much yet he's doing just fine . And it's the people buying his music so. :/ Obviously not everyone thinks of him as a no good criminal...If he was really that hated then people would have the power to mess up his comeback. Look at what happened with T-ara their songs used to hit #1 and after their scandal it failed too. Same with Rain. His comeback wasn't as high as you'd expect. Basically people still like his music and are too stubborn to admit it

    ReplyDelete
  79. Meh, it's the same everywhere, nobody ever listened to Nickelback either yet they sold millions of albums, everyone hates Paris Hilton / Kim Kardashian and they get that money without really achieving anything etc.

    ReplyDelete
  80. .... I actually like his album. Probably I'm one of those people who only care about the music if we're talking about MC Mong.

    ReplyDelete
  81. - Starship have been the worst at promoting Sistar albums. Other girl groups like Girl's Day and AOA had many fansign events which boosted their sales. It's clear that that's an excellent tactic, since the one fansign even Sistar did have, their sales boomed. They were even in the top 5 on hanteo and then no more fansigns, their rank plummeted.
    - The Sistar concert seats actually sold out, there were people tweeting that they missed out on getting tickets. I'm actually conflicted on what to believe regarding concert though. Whether it was sold out or not.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Um there is a comment there accusing him of sajaegi so I don't get the argument here.. Anyway Sistar gets more flack because their success only translates on digital charts. Low physicals and small fanbase don't add up with such a 'big' group . Plus MC Mong's success is also translating to his physical sales.... :/ Maybe a bit of a bias, but because he is an actual artist who makes his own music. People aren't going to use the excuse "maybe they enjoy the music" as much with sistar because their an idol group who continually has the same sound which could get old fast

    ReplyDelete
  83. she thinks its relevant to compare them to mcmong who occupy the whole top 10 position on digital chart of gaon weekly with his latest album.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Mong had a lot of fans before and was really respected. You see the amount of people who still chose to work with him even if they got hate too. You can't really say the same for Rain or T-ara. Rain's last comeback was pretty mediocre and while T-ara has good music, they are an idol group and people have just moved on. which isn't that rare even without a scandal.

    ReplyDelete
  85. Lol. Why B2utys need to be a 'butthurt' type when we already knows that Beast cannot wins because they already ended their promotion since last week and we fans already stop watching and streaming the mv and song (but still in top 10). Now they already released their album in Japan and top all Japan's chart with their new songs. Since beginning, many people hate mc mong ( me also don't know why). So, its mean if people hate mc mong they're B2uty? What a bullshit statement~ Beast still nominated is the best thing in our life, and we proud. Top 3 even after the promotion ended is still make us proud.

    ReplyDelete
  86. WEll thats because Sistar doesn't shine in other areas, mainly digitally. People make them sound suspicious but I see your point. But at the same time MC Mong dominates other areas besides downloads and streaming so... :/

    ReplyDelete
  87. worst promoting? look at vixx, dont blame on the company for their short coming. just be grateful to have a ceo who is also a composer like jyp.

    ReplyDelete
  88. Haha Knetz are in denial, they should realize by now that they're only a small blimp in the grand scheme of things in Korea. Koreans are buying the album, just the small minority online Knetz aren't buying it.

    ReplyDelete
  89. Not everyone can be placed in the same context. I don't know anything about Vixx, so I have no idea what you're talking about. What's clear is that their album sales definitely boomed when they had their 1 fan sign event. Obviously one instance can't provide a strong correlation, but Starship should keep trying with that tactic.

    ReplyDelete
  90. go to gaon, it will satisfy your curiosity

    ReplyDelete
  91. That and the fact online Knetz are just a small minority, even with 15K people online are saying Mc Mong to fuck off, the rest of the country are saying lol no.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Best album of 2014 in Korea, so yeah I would say it's pretty damn good.

    ReplyDelete
  93. The relation of Knetz are just a small blimp in the grand scheme of things in Korea. Must have really stung. he he

    ReplyDelete
  94. Haven't we already had articles about him winning #1 and about his comeback all within the past couple of weeks? The comments aren't going to change and there's no additional information, so what's the point? Anyway, haven't listened to the album and probably won't and don't think I'm really depriving myself in any way, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Hyorin's OSTs have topped charts. Should we start suspecting dramas of involving themselves with sajaegi as well? They have recognition, people just fail to accept it.

    ReplyDelete
  96. They do, just because those Knetz don't doesn't mean the rest of Korea doesn't as well. It just goes to show Knetz are just a small (loud) vocal group in Korea, that's all, which is cute too see them be in denial about it.

    ReplyDelete
  97. Heh, then Ballad and R&B group must be Sajaegi then they did very well digitally but suck physically, do you know Sistar is a group who promoted through their vocal talent and catchy song right? that kind of group have more people like their songs rather than being part of their fandom.

    ReplyDelete
  98. eh sistar is totally different case ,,they build their fortune of sajaeji ,MC wong is a great musician artist.no matter how much knetz hate Dont even compare

    ReplyDelete
  99. I'm noticing that you have a lot to say when it comes to Sistar, not just in this article but others. You have your own analysis of them, are you sure you're not obsessed?

You think I Swear, TMB, GITM & Alone have the same sound? Are you sure your not confusing it with the fact that the same singers sing the songs as opposed to same sound?

    ReplyDelete
  100. 6. [+55, -5] For the first time in my life since being born, I sent text votes for a male idol group. At least B2ST has a decent song, I don't even get MC-Tooth-Extraction. I really didn't think he'd actually win.

Ugh, don't bring my BAE into your haterade!! He has a good song out, it topped the charts, so he won!!!

    ReplyDelete
  101. lol sistar is accused of sajaeji by industry insiders only not just knetz

    ReplyDelete
  102. Everyone talking about him is what made him get full SNS points.

    ReplyDelete
  103. Heh, that reality check that Knetz opinions are just a small vocal group in Korea.

    ReplyDelete
  104. just wondering, why do people hate mc mong?

    ReplyDelete
  105. I don't blame SISTAR for having weak physical sales when Starship only gave them ONE fansign during their entire promotion (Touch My Body + I Swear included). The fansign only occurred after Touch My Body promotions ended and only 100 fans were allowed in. That day, TMB sales shot up by 1k or so. If Starship had given SISTAR more fansigns like GsD and AOA had, their album sales would be equal to them.

    ReplyDelete
  106. What areas are you talking about? Alone is being parody everywhere back then stays on mobile chart and karaoke chart for so many weeks

    ReplyDelete
  107. lol no they're not. No industry insider has ever accused SISTAR of sajaegi. Knetz comments only ASSUME it's about SISTAR, but it's not. If you actually read the article NB posted a while back explaining what groups were suspicious of sajaegi, the criteria didn't fit SISTAR at all. It fit nugu idol groups that debuted in the 50s-100 on MelOn and would shoot up to Top 30/Top 20.

    ReplyDelete
  108. The funny thing about SISTAR's streaming at "odd hours" is that it applies to every. single. artist. Yes, including 2NE1, Taeyang, Park Hyo Shin, IU, AKMU, Ailee etc. Older songs that are popular will take back the charts in the middle of the night because its streaming is more stabilized. That's why when newer songs are released, older songs almost always shoot back up between the hours of 12-6am.

    ReplyDelete
  109. They claim he purposely paid a dentist money to extract some of his healthy teeth to avoid military service. If you even try to avoid military service in Korea, you're pretty much soiling your image for the rest of your career.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Is he still The Face Shop's spokeperson?

    ReplyDelete
  111. im not sure about girlsday or aoa. do sistar really need fanmeeting as much as aoa and girlsday since they are considered as digital monster since 2012?

    ReplyDelete
  112. these knetizens need to be true to themselves and admit they're listening to him. his digital points are waaaaaaaaaay too high for it to be sajaegi

    ReplyDelete
  113. No, i said some of them, you are jumping to conclution so fast, are you = entire b2utys include some fans you don't know or never met

    ReplyDelete
  114. If Starship wanted to increase SISTAR's physical sales, then yes fanmeets matter. But Starship has realized that SISTAR is extremely successful digitally so they've been capitalizing on that. The members themselves acknowledged that the #1 goal of the company is to create profit, and that Starship gives SISTAR songs based on what they think the public wants.

    ReplyDelete
  115. this is off topic, but can you please post articles on Sean & the kids' visit to the triplets/

    ReplyDelete
  116. i think its very rude for you to be calling people who comment (including NB commentors), "no life adults"

    ReplyDelete
  117. SISTAR shines in CFs and university promotions as well, not just digitally. Other idols even voted "Alone" as song of the year in Weekly Idol back in 2012.

    ReplyDelete
  118. he was given a chance to enlist himself in the military but he rejected it since hes been jailed for 6 months for delaying his military call up.

    ReplyDelete
  119. baseless excuse, there is never no proff

    ReplyDelete
  120. to earn profit is what every company aim on, not just starship. besides, their " extremely successful digitally " should had increase their physical sale by now. just look at apink, they are now sold 60k copies.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Exactly. Yet people on this site love to generalize and say all koreans this or koreans that.

    ReplyDelete
  122. Wow so I guess most knetz and inetz alrdy forgave him...? Ha.... This is sad that some inetz seem really proud defending him and said he slaaaays

    ReplyDelete
  123. the controversy is actually helping....more will be inclined to check him out and the fact that he was popular before is definitely a boost

    ReplyDelete
  124. we are not defending him, we just like his songs. we all hate his cowardice but not his music.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Well from what I remember when he was called to enlist, he cited one of the exemptions which was dental health or something. Originally people thought he paid the dentist to take out healthy teeth to fake a medical condition because the timing was off, but the case went to court and he was ruled innocent.

Essentially people hate him because they think he got away with dodging military service because he was a well-liked celebrity.

    ReplyDelete
  126. >Do people not realize that comments don't represent an entire nation?

Then why do companies and artists still care and fear so much of what k-netz think?

    ReplyDelete
  127. This is just like the Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus thing.. everybody talks shit about them but they actually listen to their music... I listen to "Wrecking Ball" and "Baby" but I hate them both.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Paris Hilton released solid music back in 2006 that actually charted

    ReplyDelete
  129. He's like Justin Bieber, a lot of people hate him but he's still winning awards

    ReplyDelete
  130. Lol I misread tastes with 'testes' and I honestly almost spat my drink while reading it 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    ReplyDelete
  131. So what if mc mong still earns money haha... everyone seems jealous

    ReplyDelete
  132. sorry but paris is a successful business woman what are you on about?

    ReplyDelete
  133. You can't compare SISTAR to APink when their images are completely different. APink has the innocent image whereas SISTAR has a sexy image and their fanbase consists of people between the ages 20-50, aka people who don't buy albums compared to teenagers.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Actually like Chris Brown.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I love his music not what he has done. And i get why knetz are bitter and understand it. Never defended what he has done. If he killed somone or abused a lady i would never support him

    ReplyDelete
  138. saejaegi? i don't think so, his company doesn't have much power or money to make all his songs rank high on every damn chart. powerful companies can't/won't even do that for their precious idols =_= plus why would they? and risk getting caught to get more hate?
no one's just brave enough to say they listen and like his songs cause they don't want to be hated on. if he was like chris brown level i would understand the hate cause I refuse to listen to his songs after the whole assault thing and his continuous a-hole acts that prove that he's "trash" and a "criminal" (netz favorite words!) but mc mong is a totally different case and his music is good D:

    ReplyDelete
  139. Put aside about digital points he is surely slaying it. Look at SNS score. He even slays that too. lol Are haters are dumb? lol They're indeed missing him instead of dissing him.

Congrats MC Mong. You win against k-haters instead of other idol groups.

    ReplyDelete
  140. i've never heard of his music, and i know what he did was wrong. but that doesn't mean he doesn't have fans who still support him~

    ReplyDelete
  141. You should listen them. They're indeed a good songs.

    ReplyDelete
  142. lol sistar can't reach this mush of upvote no matter how popular they are ^^ it's obvious

    ReplyDelete
  143. Congrqtz MC mong! 14,000+ upvotes on an article of a person they hate? Or most of those ppl are hypocrites and end up buying his music even tho they diss him or theres people that can actually separate his musical career from his personal life...

    ReplyDelete
  144. The funny thing is the haters are the ones raising SNS points

    ReplyDelete
  145. you don't really say "some" if you're saying beast's fans are all that "type"

    ReplyDelete
  146. Tbh it doesn't really matter if a person is horrible, if they make music that is appealing to some then they will listen to it regardless of the person.

    ReplyDelete
  147. dear NB, can we have translated got7 new mv/songs? it is out today..and I'm so excited

    ReplyDelete
  148. LOL...I bet the haters secretly listened to his whole album...

    ReplyDelete
  149. The irony is that these ppl making the comments are actually the people addicted to his songs and streaming it on those sites...giving him the #1. Bigger companies can't even achieve this feat for their idols...yes, on music shows, yes, but also on the digital charts? I don't see that many idols on the digital charts before...it's usually ballad artists that Korean enjoy who ends up on the chart while idols win on music shows. MC Mong's music must be really selling, otherwise, how the heck is almost all of his album is dominating the charts still? He climbed back up over Kyuhyun and HI SUHYUN again the last time I checked on Melon.

    ReplyDelete
  150. well, you've seen the uptoves. and we havent found a comment that praise him yet. so yeah, its weird.

STOP!! Dont even think about going further. These odd stuff does not apply to 2ne1,AkMu,IU,Teayang, Ailee or phs. Their music has never suddenly boosted up to no.1 with thousands of people listening at 3-2am. All their music boost up in the morning when its time to go school or work. Or comeback or just late at night. The most popular hours were most people are free.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I understand how you feel. Idk if you guys care for teentop but I honestly felt so bad for them when they got accused of doing sajaegi just bec they won over 2PM when their album sales barely even reached 40K copies which is something very normal even with rookie boy groups.

    ReplyDelete

Lol not this again "I've noticed that you have a lot to say a lot when it comes to sistar" BULLSHIT! Last time I spoke out against sistar/star1 I got the same shit when it was like my third time even talking about them. Is it like a trend or thing to say stuff like this when people with not so lovey dovey opinions speak their mind. Stuff like that got to stop. Dont false acccuse people.

    ReplyDelete
  155. XXX_BAPxSECRETxUNTOUCHNovember 16, 2014 at 7:17 PM

Yes you can. Apink debuted at 2011, Sistar debuted at 2010. Sistar has a bigger label. Starship is THE most invested label of 2013 and first half of 2014. You actually can. Image has nothing to do with it really.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Ughhhhhh nickeback *cringe*

    ReplyDelete
  157. Oh wow, your comment is so massively ironic considering you've not just commented 3 or 4 times. But you used to have multiple comments per Sistar article. Honestly, I've missed you. Been having withdrawal symptoms. Glad to see your back, ready for your sajaegi proof <3 . How else am I supposed to interpret someone who comments not once or twice but multiple times on multiple Sistar articles? I don't spend that much time or time at all commenting on idol groups I have distaste for. Maybe 1 comment is ok but that's not the case here.

    ReplyDelete
  158. we all know that sistar music is trash admit it lol

    ReplyDelete
  159. [+62, -7] How can a song no one's listened to win #1? Is he doing sajaegi?

I've been waiting for this comment to appear LOLOLOL now is Jun.K's time to shine and tweet #EVERYBODYKNOWS again

    ReplyDelete
  160. Nobody I know listens to MC Mong and always hates on him whenever they get a chance on the internet, who's actually listening to him that he's at the top of digital charts;

So you know the entire world? please, you probably only know three people. And those three people probably listen to his music in secret.

    ReplyDelete
  161. I do believe that there's a lot of bullshit going on with knetz, like we all know that probably half of the ones who hate him on sites, downloaded his album to know how was it... But I also believe that there's some manipulation going on. There's a clear national sentiment against MC Mong, I mean they managed to put those army songs on the lists. So even when it's not right to say that knetz hating on him = the whole nation hating him... There's a quite big proportion of koreans doing it

    ReplyDelete
  162. Oh.. If I hate someone i wouldnt listen to their songs lol but that's just me...

    ReplyDelete
  163. But they don't represent the nation. Your logic that just because companies "fear" them, k-netz are representative of Koreans in general is totally wrong. Artists/companies care because the ones who bark the loudest actually make the effort to mobilize their hatred and do something, while the rest of the public is indifferent. Therefore, you will be wary of the minority that could/would -do- something, than the majority that couldn't care less.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Never. Even though NB has a disclaimer on the side of the page saying the same thing.

    ReplyDelete
  165. I'm not sure. Suzy is who they use mostly. They have quiet a few though. They signed Kim Soo Hyun too so it's doubtful the woman beater will be used again. Probably dropped.

  166. He wasn't ever jailed, he got a suspended sentence he got probation for 18 months for delaying enlistment and the government turned him down when he tried to enlist. He was never found guilty of the tooth issue though.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Same though for me it's Taylor Swift, I don't like her at all and I still listen to some of her song because I was curious. I like Miley though. I like her compositions and vocals but not her act on her MVs.

    ReplyDelete
  168. Gosh I'm so guilty of that. I try to support them when I can but mostly I don't buy albums. My macbook air doesn't have a CD port so I gave up on CD's.

    ReplyDelete
  169. mc mongs "miss me or diss me" is a pretty shitty song. how is he winning again?

    ReplyDelete
  170. No. Jenny's right. Star1's have been monitoring the charts so that we can refute all those people who contest oddities. I mean, we can always wait till next comeback. I'll screen cap receipts :) .

    ReplyDelete
  171. me too, I took a listen and really enjoyed it . At that point, I can't just ignore it because good music is good music and like listening to good music

    ReplyDelete
  172. ' Image has nothing to do with it really.' yes. yes it does

    ReplyDelete
  173. Last 2 releases of Sistar looked legit.
I believe they stopped whatever manipulation they've been doing before during TMB and I Swear promotions.
It could have been because they were up against artists from the big companies who instigated the "sajaegi" investigation.
And yes, I know nothing has come of the investigation.
    Not enough proof, maybe.
But I, for one, do believe Sistar did sajaegi before because I monitor the charts too.

    ReplyDelete
  174. this dude again.............how he can win in every music show tho.......weird

    ReplyDelete
  175. so the sajaegi rumors might be true... ._.. he really has an issues in everything he does

    ReplyDelete
  176. really? i check melon everyday. i think jenny's right

    ReplyDelete
  177. so knetz is a Tsundere?

    ReplyDelete
  178. Stop with sajaegi talks. If he had a lot of money he won't be a rapper anymore. Great music sure will win no matter how you try to deny it.

    ReplyDelete
  179. okay, this is confusing -_-

netizens comments may not represent every single Korean but it's delusional to think they don't matter at all, it's a response to netizen comments that Lee Santa was dropped from cfs,

    ReplyDelete
  182. Not that fangirl power could have done that much anyway, Beast already ended promotions a week ago. He has a good song and the nearest rival isn't competing =win.

    ReplyDelete
  183. Really? A lot of the Face Shop stores in US used big banners of KHJ so I didn't even know Suzy is associated with the brand. And I still see KHJ's banners everywhere so I'm just curious. May be they haven't updated oversea yet.

  185. From what i've seen, many of his haters leave comments like, "I really hate him for what he did but why is his music damn good?" or "Oh i really want him to fail but i'm so mad that his music is freaking awesome.." in his youtube mv comment section or naver..so i guess in the end, people couldn't resist listening to and buying his music. Probably rain or t-ara(i haven't heard both of them when they made a comeback before..) songs are not as good as quality of mong music.

    ReplyDelete
  186. 3. [+10,200, -1,768] It's because there are pathetic people buying the
music of a horrible criminal that this monkey is allowed to cosplay as a
victim and double his bank account.

Horrible criminal? seriously? his crime is draft dodging, he didn't killed, raped, robbed, assaulted anyone. I understand mandatory national service is important for Koreans, but, I still can't see it as an "horrible crime".

I've never listened his music, and I'm not trying to defend him, but I think a lot of men are afraid of mandatory national service in korea for its hardness and because there are a lot of bullies. In my country, it was abolished because young men didn't want to do it, and now, we rely only in our professional army.
