Jang Geun Suk also embroiled in a tax scandal

Article: Even Jang Geun Suk... 20 billion won from income omitted

Source: Kuki News via Nate

1. [+521, -7] That young child actor I remember has now become a top star who can hide away 20 billion won like it's nothing ^^

2. [+412, -9] No matter what happens, he'll just end up pretending to reflect, go on hiatus, and come back behind the shields of his fangirls. Saying farewell and stuff is pointless.

3. [+312, -15] Farewell, I won't be seeing you out the door

4. [+22, -0] It's fine revealing tax evasions with celebrities and all but there are also a lot of other wealthy people that are guilty so I hope they're being investigated as well

5. [+20, -2] He needs to go to the army and be beat like a dog to help him wake up from his disrespectful and tryhard mindset.

6. [+16, -1] I always knew he'd end up big one day! As big as Song Hye Gyo!

7. [+11, -0] It's always the wealthy who are stingiest

8. [+11, -1] Go shoot a movie with Song Hye Gyo~ and title it 'Pit-a-pat Tax Evasion'

  2. Sad , I used to like him because he is park shinhye's ex boyfriend

    ReplyDelete
  3. Eventually all of them will get caught in some sort of minor tax scandal.

No one wants to give up their money to the evil government.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Well now I think it'll be really hard for him to gain the love he had...

    ReplyDelete
  5. They get mad when bullying/iljin scandals break out but yeah let's wish that this guy gets beaten to a pulp in the military ok why not...
Dear netizens, I hope you guys understand that an eye for an eye will only make the world blind...

  6. what is up with u Sukkie yaaa.....one after another

    ReplyDelete
  7. Twenty million dollars. That is a lot of money to forget about.

    ReplyDelete
  8. 6. [+16, -1] I always knew he'd end up big one day! As big as Song Hye Gyo!

Comment #6 is pure GOLD. And so he is. On the same level as Song Hye Gyo.

    ReplyDelete
  9. My god. He makes Song Hye Kyo's 5 million look like nothing

    ReplyDelete
  10. 7. [+11, -0] It's always the wealthy who are stingiest

This is so true tho.... :( Not only in korea but in other countries as well

    ReplyDelete
  11. this is months old, didn't he already deny this and wasn't the issue subsequently dropped?

    ReplyDelete
  12. 4. [+22, -0] It's fine revealing tax evasions with celebrities and all but there are also a lot of other wealthy people that are guilty so I hope they're being investigated as well

I agree with this comment do much. There are times when I hate celebrities for getting freebies, but sometimes I pity them because they always end up on the front news while there's probably tons of other people doing similar acts.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Sighh. It's kind of weird how people with the most money don't payy their taxes :/ I understand taxes are higher but they actually have the funds to pay for them. meanwhile middle class people or lower class people struggle and they still pay their taxes.
So can kind of see the outrage when it comes to these type of scandals. Annoying.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Comment #5 is mean and disgusting. No one should be beaten like a dog....including dogs.

    ReplyDelete
  15. [+20, -2] He needs to go to the army and be beat like a dog to help him wake up from his disrespectful and tryhard mindset.
That's going a little to far lol..

    ReplyDelete
  16. tax scandal = immediate bye in career

    ReplyDelete
  17. They want him to get beat in the military? Is this how you solve your bullying problem?

    ReplyDelete
  18. I think it's on the news only because they are celebrities, pretty sure more people have to deal with this.

    ReplyDelete
  19. i don't even understand why celebrities like him can't pay his damn taxes. he's probably loaded anyways. doesn't he know there are people below him whose only wish is to pay off all their taxes on time? and here he is, drowning in money and doesn't even want to pay his taxes, it's probably like pocket money for him anyways.

    ReplyDelete
  20. It was weird though one time big up voted comment put Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun on the same level as her and Kim Hyun Joong. I was just like wtf? Does that even make sense ? :/

    ReplyDelete
  21. 5. [+20, -2] He needs to go to the army and be beat like a dog to help him wake up from his disrespectful and tryhard mindset.

And this person need to go to a mental hospital or something O.o

    ReplyDelete
  22. But how much is 20 billion won in US

    ReplyDelete
  23. 2014 is after everyone, no one is safe.

    ReplyDelete
  24. 2014 just isn't letting up is it?

    ReplyDelete
  25. Especially after all those horrific stories about abuse in the military.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I was more of pitying celebrities about how everything about them is revealed like it's normal, like dating, crimes, on front news... but I guess it's what they call "sacrifice to become a celebrity" :(

    ReplyDelete
  27. I think it's like, close to 20 million?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Knetizens need to be pressuring the government to clean up the army, not be proud that it is still beating its soldiers.

    ReplyDelete
  29. wait, you stopped liking him for this or something else?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I swear that I read it as sex scandal for a second there...

    ReplyDelete
  31. Yes, drag them all out. They want all the perks but want to barely help carry the load.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I just stopped liking him , without any reason

    ReplyDelete
  33. many celebrities make money on their image, so yep fame comes with a price .. and taxes *oops*

    ReplyDelete
  34. ah, i see! cuz i was like alleged tax evasion is a strange reason to stop liking someone, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I love this year.
    Who's next ?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I love him but 17$ mil is wow. I think its for the army. He did party enough anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  37. "Through her [Song Hye Kyo's] accountant, the actress reported 5.5 billion won ($5.4 million), or 92.3 percent, of 5.95 billion won as tax-deductible expenses without presenting the related expense documents when she filed her income taxes for three years, from 2009-2011.

Seoul Tax Service calculated that the three years of omitted income tax totaled 2.56 billion won — 785 million won in 2009, 818 million won in 2010 and 954 million won in 2011."

it was Billion, not million- unless you are talking about 5 million USD. and if you are talking about USD, then JGS's 20 billion is approximately 20 million USD- so yeah, 20 million USD is still a lot more than 5 million USD, but i just didn't want people to make a mistake and think that SHK omitted 5 million won and JGS omitted 20 billion won.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just wait till idol's iCloud's are hacked into..........

    ReplyDelete
  39. 2014 : One day = One scandal
    ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    ReplyDelete
  40. ...i'm going to bed.
    tired of scandals.

    ReplyDelete
  41. double standard in everything, if guys like JGS get into this scandal, they might recover and still have fans supporting them, while song hye gyo, unfortunately, might not, even if JGS evaded billions of dollars in tax and she only in millions

    ReplyDelete
  42. Still waiting for coming out of the closet scandals, 2014 do your thang

    ReplyDelete
  43. Damn these celebrities's are dropping like flies.

    ReplyDelete
  44. First the incident at the camp and now he's caught in a Tax Scandal.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Jang Geun Suk in a day; from my perspective: Being completely dismissed by 3 year old even though he is the self-proclaimed prince of Asia and now a tax scandal with a really unflattering header image.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Comment no 5, this is why Korea can't solve it's problem on bullying. Saying to beat someone like a dog easily like that..what's wrong with this netizen

    ReplyDelete
  47. *jaw drops after imagining*

    ReplyDelete
  48. I think it's too early to tell for both, but I'm sure there's been older tax scandals and honestly I doubt their careers will be damaged. They'll probably restart schedules (if they end them) in a couple months or a year. It's not fair to compare both just yet.

    ReplyDelete
  49. [+20, -2] He needs to go to the army and be beat like a dog to help him wake up from his disrespectful and tryhard mindset.

careful there netz, just a few weeks ago everyone was protesting the death of someone in the army from getting beaten up...

seriously tho, i can count the number of people who have been doing A-Okay for 2014... AKMU, Henry recently Hyeri. 2014, why you gotta be so mean?

    ReplyDelete
  50. I don't understand how he's still relevant. Sure he's been in some pretty good movies/dramas but that was like 10 years ago. Nothing really recent comes to mind when I hear his name. It's also been 5 years since You're Beautiful aired.

    ReplyDelete
  51. we'll just wait and see then ^^ honestly i liked both of them as actors but evading tax is definitely not cool

    ReplyDelete
  52. it s understandable, most of his activities are oversea, it s easy to hide that much money.

It was reported that he and Rain dodge tax, now he is out, i wonder when it s Rain's turn

    ReplyDelete
  53. His latest drama just finished airing this year and was picked up in Japan. He has tons of endorsement deals in Korea, Japan, and China. He also has a steady music career as a solo artist and as part of a electronica duo. He's still immensely popular and pretty relevant despite many people's belief. The world extends beyond "You're Beautiful" and has continued to spin for him.

    ReplyDelete
  54. 5. [+20, -2] He needs to go to the army and be beat like a dog to help him wake up from his disrespectful and tryhard mindset.

You don't actually think he's going to do active duty. He'll go hang out with yesung and be a public service worker aka "Not a real man". lol

    ReplyDelete
  55. 20 billions is a minor tax scandal?

    ReplyDelete
  56. I would evade the tax too if my government was incompetent to do their job and waste my hard earned money.

    ReplyDelete
  57. im sure there are more, its just the negative stuff is like freshly baked pie, everyone what a bite.
-celebrity donates to charity: few articles, comments, attention, etc
-celebrity steals from charity: lots of articles, comments, attentions, etc

    ReplyDelete
  58. they are both tin billion, JGS evaded 20 billions Won and SHK evaded 5 billions. Also, SHK is just fine after her tax scandal, her fans shield her a lot

    ReplyDelete
  59. And here we have another scandal!!! But seriously JGS's image is going to fall even more in Korea with this issue. :S

    4. [+22, -0] It's fine revealing tax evasions with celebrities and all but there are also a lot of other wealthy people that are guilty so I hope they're being investigated as well...

    Agree!!

    ReplyDelete
  60. "No matter what happens, he'll just end up pretending to reflect, go on
hiatus, and come back behind the shields of his fangirls. Saying
    farewell and stuff is pointless"
this is why reflections are pointless.

    ReplyDelete
  61. "6. [+16, -1] I always knew he'd end up big one day! As big as Song Hye Gyo!"

    WOW THAT SHADE

    ReplyDelete
  62. He's really really popular in china & Japan,I guess?

    ReplyDelete
  63. I meant it in US dollars

    ReplyDelete
  64. His career is helplessly over.

    ReplyDelete
  65. the surprise here is that he makes $20 million dollars o_o

    ReplyDelete
  66. China+Japan=$$$$$

    ReplyDelete
  67. People like you said the same thing of Kim Hyun Joong. Make up your mind ffs.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Just please not my biases.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Park Bom is still getting shade in every article and even international Kpop fans are calling her a druggie -_- Yet you don't even see mentions of Kim Hyun Joong and international fans aren't making as much as a fuss about his scandal when there was actual proof and it was much worse. Complete double standard.

    ReplyDelete
  70. Shit on iljins and bullies but support beating those who made mistakes. Yup that's gonna solve your bully issues

    ReplyDelete
  71. This comment really pissed me off. Tax evasion doesn't warrant abuse. I can't even believe that person said that considering what happened in their military recently. Gah, internet is pissing me off today, too much ignorance.

    ReplyDelete
  72. Honestly some netizen are so blinded. They only care if it's a top celebrity that gets caught up with tax scandal. But when it comes to big company's that are making 100x more then any top stars they turn a blind eye to it. Just goes to should people are too caught up to realizes the bigger picture. Get your shit together.

    ReplyDelete
  73. yo, she actually looks even more lovable and likeable without makeup and outfit. imagine the lineup and all the companies asking for their girl idols to go on the show now xD

    ReplyDelete
  74. She put a dollar sign, idiot! And stop quoting, we know already.

    ReplyDelete
  75. please send those bullies to jail.
they are criminals to people no matter what age they are in

    ReplyDelete
  76. And his mom handles all of his finances 😂😂

    ReplyDelete
  77. I don't know how young citizens will be to get prosecuted, but if bullies are as old as 10 years old, those kids should be imprisoned already. I hope they have a law like that to decrease or eradicate the iljin culture.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Maybe..who knows. Her aegyo make her more popular so its means in the future she's gonna get individual activities like CFs,dramas, movie etc. Well lets see..

    ReplyDelete
  79. Such a shame. It's as if nothing is really being done about all this bullying either, which is what makes it all the worse.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Thanks for the reply. I really appreciate it. :)

I am not entirely new to the kpop scene as I have been closely following kdramas and idols that I like. And I always encounter those "aegyo attacks" while watching them. I agree that aegyo is a cultural thing. What baffles me though is how it's almost the same but also different with merely acting cute. I blame it on my culture. :)

Men try to do aegyo too but it looks like they're just acting like a 3 year old child to me. LOL. I cringe and smile at the same time.

Is it almost the same thing as Japan's kawaii culture?

    ReplyDelete
  81. Is this recent or did they dig it up like SHK's case?

    ReplyDelete
  82. What a coincidence. They all start with H.

    ReplyDelete
  83. [+22, -0] It's fine revealing tax evasions with celebrities and all but
there are also a lot of other wealthy people that are guilty so I hope
    they're being investigated as well

    Yes, like big businessmen.

    ReplyDelete
  84. I heard she even made their official website crash. Looks like Girls Day is about to become even bigger.

    ReplyDelete
  85. You do realize you have an entirely different culture from them, right? It's embarrassing watching you comment on this ignorantly like you speak for everyone.

    ReplyDelete
  86. Ah, I am not sure if the aegyo and kawaii culture are the same thing. :/ I wish an otaku could explain that to us.

At first, I like the aegyo, but later on, it already irks me. The only person whom I can tolerate doing aegyo is Lee Jung Shin. :3

    ReplyDelete
  87. OMG all the idols choosen to go in Real Men got love from the public. Real Men Season 1 = Hyungshik, Season 2 = Henry, Lady Soldiers Special = Hyeri.. This 3 were the male/female idol groups members that were choosen and all 3 got popular and love from the public.

Now idols who aren't that popular know where to go to get people's attention and love..

    ReplyDelete
  88. awwww she is so freaking cute <3

    ReplyDelete
  89. Remember how they all called her the gold digger and dirty slut last year because of dating sb a decade older than her. Now she is called the nation purest little sister because of her act on a script variety show. Oh K net is so funny. LOL

    ReplyDelete
  90. Sweetheart, don't try to be cute. It's not a good look for you judging by your profile picture.

    ReplyDelete
  91. hihihi..every business people has this kind of mentality, "Why do i need to give up all my profits if the government corrupt". One of many reasons why people evade tax.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Don't confuse real popularity with this stupidity...

    ReplyDelete
  93. "2. [+412, -9] No matter what happens, he'll just end up pretending to reflect, go on hiatus, and come back behind the shields of his fangirls. Saying farewell and stuff is pointless."

    This!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  94. But some of them gained popularity by being on Radio Star too. Like Lee Joon :3 I guess idols just have to do well in variety shows. Being cute and funny, but not fake is really important.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Here's the glorious video:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=whyLTCcrTns

    ReplyDelete
  96. I love all these I-Netz not comprehending that they come from two entirely different cultural backgrounds. You don't find it cute? Great for you. But in Korea, an idol who can do aegyo and seems innocent is as good as golden. Hyeri is not even my favorite, in fact she's my least favorite in Girls Day (my favorite being Sojin) , but it's really obvious that some of you are just being bitter about it.

    ReplyDelete
  97. there's no any type of bullying is better!

    ReplyDelete
  98. [+524, -5] We live in a world where iljins like them can still make a living off of TV just because they're pretty/handsome

just turn on the TV...and you will know what this comment talking about..........sigh

    ReplyDelete
  99. man...this dude not even handsome......and he act like superstar or sthing......well...................

    ReplyDelete
  100. Wow...$20 million in tax evasion. This guy must be loaded.

    ReplyDelete
  101. *gassssp* All those upvotes for something that was like 4 seconds long! O__o you dont see that often for non-scandal related stuff... i actually found the guy's smile cute but well, he looked like he was in a hurry to leaave lol

    ReplyDelete
  102. may the iljins rot in hell.

    ReplyDelete
  103. 16k upvotes O_O haven't seen shit this real since Yoona/Seunggi's relationship getting confirmed holy crap. I didn't realize Hyeri had gotten THIS popular. Holy shit girl! <33

    ReplyDelete
  104. Seems like taxes trip everyone up.

    ReplyDelete
  105. holy shit Park Bom looks different here D:

Dara and Minzy can do better aegyo than Bom.

    ReplyDelete
  106. The squad commander dude killed it tbh T_T

    ReplyDelete
  107. Stupidity at its best !!!

    ReplyDelete
  108. I only like aegyo when children are doing it to be very honest. kk.

    ReplyDelete
  109. no thanks, knetizens will only dislike her more.
    http://i.imgur.com/Zyr2oJH.gif

    ReplyDelete
  110. Yeah, compared to 20 trillion.

    What now?

    ReplyDelete
  111. exactly.
    1. [+1,617, -61] She's more beautiful bare faced and in army uniform~~~~~~~

    true.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Korean law need to be stricter and do something about this cause this is serious shit that happens mostly all the time or so. If they can come up with a law to band sexy concept and all than they can defiantly come up with something about iljins

    ReplyDelete
  113. Nation's little sister or sweetheart, It will be cool to see one of my biases get a national title.

    ReplyDelete
  114. In SOME articles but not in their own articles right? How many times have you seen Song Hye kyo tax evasion being brought up here and now Jang Geun suk compared to SM. Of course I know that SM have the power to cover what the don't want to the public to know but at the same time people don't care. All they care about are the top stars who have done wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Lol at the comment, he needs to be beat up like a dog in army?... im not his fans, and my point maybe off the topic but aren't South Korea embroiled with army bullying rn?... and one more thing, we should love dogs, not beating them up.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Thats sad, I really wish she someone could have saved her, or stepped in or something. Keeping her in my prayers.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Aren't we over this?

    ReplyDelete
  118. I don't remember seeing the dollar sign before, so I think she edited it, so let's not call people idiots...

    ReplyDelete
  119. I didnt read they were arrested, they deserve it. They thing is i guess you have to consider what people think is cheating; some people are ok with flirting and others find it to be cheating. I personally think you should never have inappropriate convos with anyone who isnt your wife. Depending what is said it can be forgiven or not. Either way i feel bad for his wife.

These are posts/blogs supposedly proving Taehyun's innocence. I basically skimmed over the evidence and it puts Kim Young Ho's trash articles on Sports Seoul and Nate to shame.

    ReplyDelete
  121. is there any eng subbed full video?

  122. Real Men really help Hyeri to raise her popularity :))) before that all the comment in her articles is negative and belong to her relationship with Tony..

    ReplyDelete
  123. should have gone all "-A" on her bullies

    ReplyDelete
  124. my friend even went to a cafe in china and he was all over the place in there; cardboard cutouts, mats, and he was on all of the tvs

    ReplyDelete
  125. I hope she is not like these pathetic women that find excuses for men on to why they cheat on them.Who knows what sort of disease he has if he sleeps with anyone that will have him. I hope she divorces him and move on with her life. Only fools allow themselves to uses and walked all over. A cheater is always a cheater. People changes for themselves and no one.No one changes for another person. She should throw him away like the trash he is.

    ReplyDelete
  126. NGL I always wanted CL to go to this kind of shows, she'll look so good in army uniform and her bare face will make every korean go gaga for her.
    please YG make it happen!

    ReplyDelete
  127. Because they're insecure losers who aren't satisfied with themselves so they attack those who seem weaker than them to feel better about their pathetic selves. Honestly I don't give a f*k about how hard their life is or any of that sh*t. Like you have no excuse to bully others. I can never forgive those pathetic excuse of human beings. I hope karma bites them in the ass.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Err... ahahaha

    ReplyDelete
  129. I watched it and squealed the first time. Hyeri is so cute

    ReplyDelete
  130. Well Jang Geun Suk has never been safe. He's like Korea's redheaded stepchild, lol. I'm guessing Koreans can't really hate him much more than they already did before this. I personally always tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but this is actually serious shit and changes my opinion on him.

    ReplyDelete
  131. human documentary girls day

    ReplyDelete
  132. Culture isn't infantile though. Sure it's cute as a once off but if you're expecting all grown women to act like little 5 years olds around men for "cultural reasons" you're crazy. Good for her popularity but don't be surprised if she's going to struggle to be taken seriously for some time to come.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I added it in as an edit since that user told me I didn't make it clear enough. No need to call people names :)

    ReplyDelete
  134. I don't think just appearing on Real Men is enough to salvage an image. Knetz seem to respect someone more if they appear hardworking and enduring.

    ReplyDelete
  135. Jang Geun Suk do not care much about Korean market anyway, so I don't think his career will be greatly impacted. As long as China & Japan (his 2 main market where he earns his money) still loves him and accept him even after this then he'll be fine. He releases music ONLY in Japan and do not really release album in Korea. He mainly have his concert tour there and sometimes Asia tour. And his dramas main market is international fans and not Korea's public. He even rarely guess on Korea's variety or reality shows. He got most his income in international activity.

So I don't think he really cares what the Korean public says.

    ReplyDelete
  136. I've been into Japanese stuff for about 15 years - in Japan, kawaii culture is largely for women, by women to look cute - male attractiveness doesn't come into it. Aegyo culture is more about attracting men and looking cute for getting a partner or impressing males. There are certainly aspects of the kawaii culture, such as idols, wota-culture and the like that is similar, but most people view enjoyment of pastel colours, Hello Kitty, Lolita fashion, Otome etc as women doing things women like, regardless of what males/men think.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Yes..people are recognizing that hyeri is adorable and a good person in general as they look into her more. Did you make an account just to try and be smart with me? Ok

    ReplyDelete
  138. But we don't know that for a fact unless you're saying you've read and examined their version of juvenile protection law. I haven't so I don't have an opinion on whether it needs altering or not.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Wow. I didn't even know that aegyo can make you a nation's little sister. lol

    ReplyDelete
  140. lol that is a crazy amount of upvotes.

    ReplyDelete
  141. oh boy 2014 is slowly becoming a nightmare for Korean celebs, so many things coming out all at once.

    ReplyDelete
  142. Bullying occurs everywhere. Maybe less so physical bullying elsewhere in the world, but verbal bullying is commonplace and just as scarring as the other.

Being someone who has encountered verbal bullying, it's scary how you often do not even realize you're a victim of bullying at that point of time. Often, they don't outright demean you, but make you feel unwanted and disliked but you just don't understand why because you've done nothing to deserve this. I've always wondered when I was 15, why the people in my class never seemed to like me. For the first time in my life, I couldn't manage to make friends. After graduating, I learnt from my only friend in class that there were a select few 'popular' kids who were spreading baseless rumours that caused that to happen. One of them was even a 'friend' who sat next to me once, because she thought my family was rich and I 'didn't deserve it' because I didn't work as hard as she did in school (like wtf?). I consider this to be a minor case of bullying, and even that was scarring enough for me. I shudder to think of what others who are severely bullied are going through, and am forever grateful for my family being there for me 100% all the time.

It's sad because most of the people I know who have been bullied are typically the nicest people I've ever known. Some may be bullied because people are jealous of them, some because they don't fit in to the norm. No one deserves to be bullied. It's easy to go with the public opinion and isolate someone because someone 'popular' hates her guts, but pause for a moment and think of the emotional turmoil the girl is facing and please, do not do this for the sake of fitting in.

    RIP to the girl.

  149. South Korea's shadow economy is 25% of GDP. Their rate of self-employment is 4 times that of the United States. This means everyone in South Korea either cheats on their taxes or at least have a family member or friend who cheats on their taxes.

Jang Geun Suk is in the wrong on this but netizens, please also look at your own social circle because you likely know at least one person who is a tax cheat, if you're not one yourself.

  150. Whoever wants to say "I don't like aegyo thing".. Please just shush and leave the article quietly. If you really don't like that aegyo, just because you have different western style culture, then why are you even fan of K-pop and K-celeb's gossip and news anyway? Why are you even here in NB? Article is about what's going on in Korea, not your country. If majority of Korean loves what Hyeri did, then that's it, accept it. You guys comments about complaining that people likes and praise about aegyo, is completely meaningless to Korean Entertainment world. I am saying this, cuz I have seen so many i-nets' comments about how they dislike aegyo culture in first article about this same contents Hyeri's article. It was truly annoyed to scroll down all those comments..

  156. That's because you are female. and i-netizen who would not understand korean culture for how they see aegyo as charming thing. I am korean male who goes to lots of korean's main portal websites, and I did check many articles about Hyeri, I can guarantee, not even single k-netizen is talking about that guy's smile is cute... but only talking that he had no choice to make that smile, cuz Hyeri's natural aegyo was irresistable. I guess that's the difference between typical female i-nets' and real local k-nets. It's just.. different.

  163. I don't have a full understanding of their version of juvenile protection law, but I just think these bullies should be able to take responsibility because it is a person's life they took, even if that person was not killed by their own hands, but with words.

  164. Yeah, her natural aegyo's cute. I generally dislike forced aegyo, especially when idols go over-the-top with it.

Also, don't try to pretend to kiss Hyeri because she will follow through. She'll take them fakers down.

EXACTLY! There's people out there that consider these idols income. Weekend spending money. They need to reveal companies. Actual billionaires and all that. Not just celebrities. Be equal.

    5. [+20, -2] He needs to go to the army and be beat like a dog to help him wake up from his disrespectful and tryhard mindset

I get he probably thinks hes all that and a bag of chips and what not. But seeing as how skorea is dealing with the whole army uproar over suicides and bullying. Why would anyone wish this? Even if it is over tax evasion. Yeah the whole taxes fiasco is wrong. But wishing such thing is even worst.

    ReplyDelete

  169. actually, you kinda have to see the entire episode to understand why that short moment of aegyo is so powerful. It's not just that moment, but it's mixture of seeing all the process of all hard working and training in scary atmosphere, especially when this is first time for her being in the army and adapting. And then through all that, seeing that moment of aegyo gets powerful more than ever. I hope someone of some k-sub team can make the sub for the entire episode for all the i-netz to understand little bit better.

Did you see the movie Eden Lake. I really hate the bunch of 12 and 13 years old brats and what did they do to lead actor and actress in that movie. If you like revenge go see the movie I Spit On Your Grave 1 & 2. It's awesome movie.

  177. "It's kind of overreacting".

I don't really think so, it's just cultural differences. Obviously Westerners won't get the whole cute act because they're not really exposed to it but for certain Asian countries it has been developed to be part of their culture.
