"Acting can be done by anyone, by a model or by a farmer. What you did before you began acting is not important because the minute you start anew, everyone becomes a rookie. I didn't experience this myself but from what I heard from others, idol turned actors get a lot of criticism. When idols begin acting, they are no doubt a rookie but they have the mindset of already being a star. Since it's their first time acting, they should be like any rookie actor freshly cast and have a humble attitude and a willingness to learn to be liked on set. If a freshly cast rookie acted cocky like they knew all about acting, wouldn't that cause a misunderstanding? Fortunately, the idols I've worked with have all been humble and willing to learn."
