- All international promotions at a 'halt' with music programs being canceled. "Groups that have had comebacks planned on Korean music shows obviously don't have international schedules. Even if they were cast in international schedules, it's not easy to go abroad to sing and dance."

U-KISS, on the other hand, attended a Japanese event with yellow ribbons on. Reps had to say, "We deliberated a lot over whether to attend. The yellow ribbons were prepared by the members themselves so we weren't able to ask for permission from the broadcast and baseball stadium. Fortunately, the Japanese viewers mourned with the members and gave them a lot of strength."

- Careful and even more careful! Majority of idol groups are currently on hiatus, but with the sudden break out of their hectic schedules, companies are watching over their actions more closely.

Idols are first and foremost told to be cautious about going to drinking pubs because being caught there will be a huge hit to their image. If drinking is necessary, companies have asked idols to do it in the comfort of their own homes to also avoid drunk driving accidents.

Outfits are also a concern. Clothes of bright colors in a mourning atmosphere will only garner hate so companies have asked stylists to coordinate outfits in black or gray.

- The mourning period is not detrimental to the idols. One rep said, "To the public, it might seem like idols have lost their promotion timing after having just released their new track but currently, the digital charts have been on pause since the Sewol Ferry accident. Once music programs start up again, the chart will pick back up where it left off."

Singers have also postponed their comebacks with ample time, like G.NA, who had originally planned to release 'Pretty Underwear' on the 21st. Currently scheduled for mid-May, she's right on time for the shows to go back to normal.

Another producer said, "Just because there's been a postponement doesn't mean idols have had more time to prepare. They've already finished their music video, choreography, and outfits. It's only until society picks back up again that idols can as well."
