Stephanie to make a solo comeback in July

Article: [Exclusive] CSJH Stephanie to make solo comeback in July... 'SM alliance'

Source: OSEN via Naver

Stephanie will be making a solo comeback under Mafia Record (Wassup's company). She still is contracted under SM Entertainment.

1. [+118, -9] I think SM threw CSJH away... They even stole their balloon and gave it to SNSD.

2. [+113, -9] If not for SM, they could've become a girl group to go in history... Can't they promote again.

3. [+87, -4] CSJH was a legendary dance queen

4. [+72, -3] They're an example of debuting at the wrong time ㅜㅜ They might've done well if they debuted when girl groups were popular;; and now the market's too saturated for them to reunite. What a shame... I just want to see them reunite once.

5. [+58, -2] CSJH were the original honey thighs

6. [+15, -1] I wonder if it's SM who gave up on them or CSJH who don't want to reunite...? Instead of going as units with trashy songs, have a real group comeback... Or do they have to leave SM for that?

7. [+16, -2] She'll own any female idol who thinks they can dance well. They're nothing compared to Stephanie. She made legendary clips every time she danced on X-Man.

8. [+11, -0] CSJH was in the wrong generation... They debuted at a time where any female singers didn't do so well. It wasn't until the Wonder Girls that girl groups really became trendy.

    Looking forward to this!!!

  2. Sorry, who?

    ReplyDelete
  3. Stephanie, my queen! I hope she slays, 'cause she's seriously better than a vast majority of female idols out there, TBH.

Gonna go search who this is now.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I'm just glad that she's getting a chance again.

    ReplyDelete
  6. CSJH's lead dancer. CSJH aka the female DBSK that unfortunately tanked.

    ReplyDelete
  7. Weren't these girls like legit really talented? They were like pre-Spica. Sometimes it's not just in your stars. But it's in someone like Goo Hara's stars. The world is a strange place :/ Good luck to Stephanie on her solo comeback!

  9. Quick history lesson on CSJH?

    ReplyDelete
  10. The rest of CSJH are pretty good too :3

    But yea Steph is awesomeeee

    ReplyDelete
  11. Stephanie looks a bit like JungAh (from After School)

    ReplyDelete
  12. 8. [+11, -0] CSJH was in the wrong generation... They debuted at a time where any female singers didn't do so well. It wasn't until the Wonder Girls that girl groups really became trendy.

Hee, it's too bad that they can't be the one starting the trend instead.

    ReplyDelete
  13. csjh was sm's best girlgroup. all 4 of them were talented & pretty. snsd & f(x) are so lame compared to them

    ReplyDelete
  14. True! Lina's actually my favorite of them all. Such a shame they didn't work out as a group. I hope they record something together again, but they probably won't.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Ah.. X-man bring back memories..

    ReplyDelete
  16. [+118, -9] I think SM threw CSJH away... They even stole their balloon and gave it to SNSD.

Now, SM is throwing SNSD and prepares for their new girl group.....

    ReplyDelete
  17. It's SM's stupid fault for not marketing them properly and for pegging them the female DBSK >__> Like that isn't impossible to live up to or anything

    ReplyDelete
  18. Honestly, I wish there were better girl groups out there. Aside from a chosen few, everyone is just blandly going for sexy or cute, doing the requisite steps to the requisite music. Companies are half assing it and it's just so boring to see.

    ReplyDelete
  19. It's sad that people can't appreciate talent :( these girls ate so amazing

    ReplyDelete
  20. They probably got nonstop hate from cassies

    ReplyDelete
  21. It's sad because they were all sooo talented! I hope she slays

    ReplyDelete
  22. All you f(x) fans who think SM are neglecting them, no. THIS is what SM does when it really wants to neglect a group.

    ReplyDelete
  23. sm shouldn't have marketed them as the female dbsk. they got so much hate from cassiopeia in their debut days because of that -_-

    ReplyDelete
  24. she is same group with dana & who(?),.. i think i watched duo of this group

    ReplyDelete
  25. *are ^_^
and yes! I can't believe SM didn't continue to try and promote them once again, so much talent wasted! Still kinda hoping for a reunion.

    ReplyDelete
  26. IKR?! f(x) fans have nothing to complain about compared to what CSJH went through.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Her and Fei really have a strikingly similar resemblance. Excited for her comeback!

    ReplyDelete
  28. her last release was god awful but i think she was just testing the water. I love her though and she is the second dance queen to me.

    ReplyDelete
  29. True, but honestly, if anyone was DBSK's female counterpart, it was really them. They were amazing singers and dancers. It just sucks that they debuted at the wrong time with Cassiopeia being ridiculously immature back then.

    ReplyDelete
  30. why their debut is x success? i not know them..if based on response, they must talented ones

    ReplyDelete
  31. Stephanie is one of the SNSD's senior&teacher...remember when MAMA, ops, i mean MKMF is still relevant..she did the dance duet with Hyoyeon and it heats all the audiences even who watched on TV..Steph will dance a routine that you cant never imagine a girl can do. She's the female Yunho!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Omg i just check up CSJH and damn they could sing and dance. The girls group now would be nothing compared to them.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes please, I need it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I'm so bitter that there hasn't been a Yunho-Steph dance collab until now. That's all I ever wanted.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I actually thought f(x) was going down that road. And if they don't comeback soon, I'll might re-think about it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Sorry small screen short stubby fingers XD can't wait for my upgrade apple is pissing me off T.T

    ReplyDelete
  37. same here... lol at my ignorance...

    ReplyDelete
  38. f(x) will be back in the summer like usual

    ReplyDelete
  39. because f(x) fans don't want them to end up like csjh

    ReplyDelete
  40. i really hate those comments where you have to put down someone else in order to praise another

    ReplyDelete
  41. Jenizz | pinkcrownApril 14, 2014 at 2:08 AM

    Ah.... X-Man.... :'D
    I'm anticipating her~

    ReplyDelete
  42. But CSJH was never even as popular as f(x) are, so it's not like a legit comparison.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Stephanie>Kahi>Victoria>Boa/Hyoyeon/Min>Minzy

    ReplyDelete
  44. Sometimes, it's just wrong timing and things just don't work out like how it should be, even if you have everything going for you.

    ReplyDelete
  45. How is she still contracted with SM but coming back with a different company?

    ReplyDelete
  46. But I think it also not fair to say that. I mean CSJH fans know that the reason is because Steph continue study and injuries. CSJH got their solo concert before their hoobae (SUJU at that time), plus Tenjochiki got their solo concert in Japan too.
While f(x) fans still is a nugu(got no fanclub name) after 4years of debut, a hoobae who debuts 2years later got solo concert before them. I think both are in similar situation.

    ReplyDelete
  47. how about you stop living in the past and realize that csjh was a trend during your time and maybe in a few years i'll be saying the same about rookie groups not being able to compare to snsd/f(x). seriously, stop shitting on other ppls parade

    ReplyDelete
  48. SM did promote CSJH with passion and gave them many chances. But they failed multiple times. But for f(x), SM's neglecting them even though f(x) is pretty successful.

    ReplyDelete
  49. That's how SM works, it's a cycle. :/

    ReplyDelete
  50. well your opinioted best group flopped ,no one cared about them

    ReplyDelete
  51. I dont think Vic is a good dancer. She's flexible, but all-round dancing, I think the lower 4 is better

    ReplyDelete
  52. stephanie???

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vv-3_WMrM-U

    ReplyDelete
  53. For those who don't know, Stephanie is a ballerina.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SNTMBemkQI

    ReplyDelete
  54. her dancing on xman were all i saw on youtube back then.

    ReplyDelete
  55. If you ask me, I never thought they were neglected by SM. I think their role if different from the rest of the groups. I mean in the way they are promoted.

    ReplyDelete
  56. I still think this is the dumbest argument ever. There is no guarantee that the new girl group will do well so why would SM intentionally sabotage one of their top money makers? I think SM is fucking up SNSD but it isnt for the girl group

    ReplyDelete
  57. So, as long as the absolute worst hasn't happened, you're not allowed to complain about anything ever? Lol that kind of logic usually leads to insensitive bs

    ReplyDelete
  58. Yup. That's her.

Oh the glorious days of X-Man. Gave me the best crash course on who's who in the Korean gagmen, singers, upcoming actors, etc.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Victoria got into a prestigious dance school in beijing tho. she specializes in ballet just like how hyo and min mostly do popping

    ReplyDelete
  60. Hm people aren't getting this.

    ReplyDelete
  61. When i watched x-man Yunho and Steph dance collections, i really wished they could collaborate together.

    ReplyDelete
  62. damn sm. CSJH actually do quite well during 'one more time, ok?' they should keep promote them instead of sending them back to japan again:(

    ReplyDelete
  63. But she hasn't had much chances to show it off, TBH. So it's hard to judge on Victoria's skills as opposed to other female dancers.

    ReplyDelete
  64. SM is not being fair with her. I wonder how much longer she will be under SM.

    ReplyDelete
  65. 7. [+16, -2] She'll own any female idol who thinks they can dance well. They're nothing compared to Stephanie. She made legendary clips every time she danced on X-Man.

I agree with this. Step can dance so many different genres that she was and still is the best female dancer i have seen in K-pop,

    ReplyDelete
  66. They complained all over twitter with messages and photos...lol.

    ReplyDelete
  67. Cause cassie back then is sooooo scary. just like the 1st reaction from Junsu-ZLY project and Lina-JJ duet. Cassies are damn mad but then, fans who appreciate music and talent loves it soooo much. So I think SM is being protective toward their g.group and lets just dont do the dance duet. since if dancing, we got all the touching and it will be very chaos.lol

    ReplyDelete
  68. i get the feeling your intend is not to praise csjh but to bash snsd

    ReplyDelete
  69. They won't debut the new girl group with just the hope they do well. Of course they are making a well elaborated marketing plan to guarantee the success of that group.

    ReplyDelete
  70. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sarfUR4-810

    ReplyDelete
  71. lol..i comment before you edit is..Steph is still the queennnnnn

    ReplyDelete
  72. why wouldn't SM give exo a concert though? they're sure to make money, there's already a sizable fandom.

there's no gauruntees f(x) can even fill a concert, let alone those girls have the stamina to pull one off.

    ReplyDelete
  73. lol don't blame time,,,when they failed to succeed

    ReplyDelete
  74. i just state why fx fans got mad. no need to hype up..

    ReplyDelete
  75. I agree. Thats exactly what they did with EXO but I still dont think intentionally sabotaging SNSD makes sense

    ReplyDelete
  76. Aside from wrong timing, less promotion and injury, Cassies back then were so scary.
Since TVXQ and CSJH were so close, and the gg was considered the male version of their oppars, Cassies were always mad and would bash CSJH.
I cam.see it happening again to the next gg of SM. It seems the smrookies are close to exo, so yeah. History will repeat itself.

    ReplyDelete
  77. i didn't know the existence of that group.and to think their label is SM Ent.What was SM doing with them??????????

    ReplyDelete
  78. history already repeat with SUJU and SNSD...lol

    ReplyDelete
  79. for sure the new girl group is going to do well. sm's design wont allow for anything else

sm's just gonna make snsd tour in japan all the time which isn't throwing them away but it's not what fans want either

    ReplyDelete
  80. The female Yunho? Not even close
Stephanie at least can do freestyle dance and doesn't recycle the same dance moves for 10 years lol

    ReplyDelete
  81. SM tried with CSJH they flopped (TRUTH)............

    ReplyDelete
  82. Fly to the Sky will also make a comeback.
    So excited :D

    ReplyDelete
  83. If f(x) can sell 82K albums, i think they can fill stadium with at least 10-14k audience. SM never even gave f(x) the chance to see if they can hold a concert on their own. After all f(x) is the best second selling girl group after SNSD.

    ReplyDelete
  84. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PkGYz8kj4LU

    ReplyDelete
  85. LOL I love Yunho, but I agree. My oppa can't freestyle for shit.

    ReplyDelete
  86. I don't think they will sabotage SNSD. But probably SM is going focus in the new girl group more, and gradually SNSD will be getting neglected.with the time.

Also if you think about it probably the SNSD are or at least some of them are thinking about leaving the group to do other activities. A reason to have new girl group to focus.

    ReplyDelete
  87. Can't wait for her comeback! I don't care under which company it'll be. She'll be awesome!

    ReplyDelete
  88. Well, they could've probably done better if they debuted just a bit later. Brown Eyed Girls hit it big with the whole mature, sexy thing going on for them, which is what CSJH were doing when they were active.

    ReplyDelete
  89. I dont know about now, but when CSJH signed their contract with SM, they signed 2 contracts. 1 is as a trainee...and the later one is as a trainer. That is why these 4 girls are still bond with SM. They are SM trainer.

    ReplyDelete
  90. She so fine in that pic! Looking forward to it ^^

    ReplyDelete
  91. I don't think the fans name is a big issue, with EXO's fans is the same.

But let's be honest, f(x) may be popular with the general public, but is there enough fan people that can satisfy SM's expectation for a concert?

    ReplyDelete
  92. only a minority can freestyle dance tho...those that went to dance academies or are dancers may seem useless in terms of singing but if it is dancing wise, they are the ones who make choreography look clean..

    ReplyDelete
  93. snsd just signed a new contract so they are not leaving for a couple of more years

    ReplyDelete
  94. LOL I never realized that the beat they were dancing to would end up being "SHINee World."

    ReplyDelete
  95. No, CSJH had all the potential to become more popular, just like seeya did, even if they were promoting in a period of time where male ballads (whether soloists or groups) were the dominant trend. The difference between seeya and csjh was, at least seeya was promoted properly and gained relatively big popularity which was only brought to a halt when ccm started spreading shit about nam gyuri and causing discord amongst the members, whereas csjh was pretty much half assed and then shoved in a corner to make way for snsd....

    ReplyDelete
  96. Eyyy Victoria has done this every time in Chu~<3 promotion too :v

    ReplyDelete
  97. It would a waste if SM doesn't make an f(x) concert, If f(x) doesn't have a concert it's because SM has a reason.
They sell well, but my question is: those who bought their material, are really big f(x)'s fans?
f(x) doesn't seem to be a group that was created to have fans, but just to be public friendly.

    ReplyDelete
  98. 6. [+15, -1] I wonder if it's SM who gave up on them or CSJH who don't want to reunite...?

THIS THIS ONLY THIS is my question though. Even SHINHWA had said if they didn't hit daebak with TOP then they might disband back then ( becuz their debut was flopped ) & try the other way to live. I think this quiet suit CSJH's situation. Their group is now forgetten so they will do what they want to do to live & work. And i find nothing wrong with it, how can SM promote them when they are themselves not want to be in one group anymore @@?

    ReplyDelete
  99. technically, CSJH was better and more talented than SNSD or f(x).
    maybe they're just unlucky.

    ReplyDelete
  100. "4. [+72, -3] They're an example of debuting at the wrong time ㅜㅜ They
might've done well if they debuted when girl groups were popular;;"
"8. [+11, -0] CSJH was in the wrong generation..."

Seeya would beg to differ......it's just that they were never given a full fledged proper promotion.

    ReplyDelete
  101. OMG the beginning song is Stuck by Stacie Orrico
haven't heard that song in ages!

    ReplyDelete
  102. Wasn't Jewelry also big back then? Or did they only get big with One More Time? I can't remember anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  103. if sm are preparing for their new girlgroup, why they dropped sm rookies' teaser instead?

    ReplyDelete
  104. I dont think they want to leave the group but I think they are losing interest in being in an idol group. Judging by what they've been saying in interviews in this recent comeback, it kind of seems like they want to go as far as they can but they can already see their limit

    ReplyDelete
  105. It depends on how much longer they will stay, you said a couple more of years, so maybe they are preparing for their last phase to let the new girl group grow because they can't disband SNSD and debut the new group just like that, they need time. Maybe it's an agreement with the SNSD members to not leave until the new girl group's popularty is strong. It's a possibitlity because i think
they reached what they could while being in the group.
So they need to do some else to reach their differents goals.

    ReplyDelete
  106. NB, can you translate about 15&'s new song and the feedback?

    ReplyDelete
  107. You never know. Look how much money and work SM put into EXO's debut but then it didnt do as well as they wanted. But then EXO got lucky with growl. Who is to say that SM can replicate that with the new girl group? They will probably do well for a girl group but not well enough for SM to completely neglect soshi

    ReplyDelete
  108. So how is she still signed with SM but is making a comeback with a diff company?

    ReplyDelete
  109. Technically they hit it big with I really like you YEARS ago (and then later Superstar did well), but they were more an early formed group, like Sugar and Chakra so I consider them part of the first gen. while CSJH are more like 1.5 gen.

    ReplyDelete
  110. understandable :) ... it sounds funny though.
    What are u upgrading to?

    ReplyDelete
  111. And for the same reason is what I'm saying that, their limit in the group was already reached, if they the want to achieve something else they need to do some other activities.

    ReplyDelete
  112. 7. [+16, -2] She'll own any female idol who thinks they can dance well. They're nothing compared to Stephanie. She made legendary clips every time she danced on X-Man.

    *sigh* XMAN!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxjF8wqdR4g

going to go watch dangyunhaji clips now :)

    ReplyDelete
  113. CSJH's promotions were halted because Steph needed to recuperate from her back pains....continuing ballet, lina/dana/sunday doing musicals and acting was work they found on their own since it's not like SM was calling back for them - the focus now was snsd 300%

    ReplyDelete
  114. To taste the public, it's easier with the SM Rookies system because when they debut, they will have had enough fans, at that moment.

    ReplyDelete
  115. some of the SM Rookies are going to be in the new girl group. like Irene and Seulgi.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Ahhh memories! Back when variety shows were fun and worth watching. I cracked up so much watching this show.

    ReplyDelete
  117. I wouldn't go as far as saying that SM is neglecting f(x)... but I don't think they are exactly using them to their full potential either. It's all a matter of opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  118. I thought they debuted in a wrong time. Right after DBSK *well it is SM routines that debut brother-sister groups. Even until now SM still works like that*.

And i ever read a blog *i don't know it was a legit blog or not* but she explained that many of hard core dbsk's fans attacked them with reasons like *those girls too closed with our oppas* and it was hard with a title 'female version' of dbsk. And girl groups were not popular back then, she mentioned until jewelry debuted girl groups hardly got attentions. SM was not as big as now back then, and even boa was more popular in japan too. And korean entertaiment market not that big too like right now *when we compared after korean wave*. After that stephanie injuried herself and it made their promotions become harder. ----> it was that i read from that blog. More or less.

Nowdays i think around 2007 until around 2009 was a good time for girl group. I mean a lot girl groups who debuted in that era reached a real success.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Ahhh memories! Back when variety shows were fun and worth watching. I cracked up so much watching this show!

    ReplyDelete
  120. DAMN ~!!!
    Kpop really grew
Just 2years ago 95% of Kpop fans knew CSJH
but now there like 30% of Kpop fans who don't even know a thing about them.

    ReplyDelete
  121. aw man this makes me nostalgic of xman days. wishing the best for her. wonder what happened to the rest of the members...

    ReplyDelete
  122. When I think about some of the girl groups that went unnecessarily to waste, I just want to drop kick something....

CSJH with their half assed push from the company
Seeya with KKS being a complete ass and fcking shit up b/w the members
WG going to the states to be an ornament in the jonas brother's tours

    ReplyDelete
  123. SM half assed with CSJH...SM "tried" with SNSD (TRUTH).......

    ReplyDelete
  124. no actually, their debut wasn't bad and their ballads were popular enough. moreover, One More Time, Ok? was a hit. But before they could blossom any further SME shipped them off to japan.

    ReplyDelete
  125. RIGHT? RIGHT?!
Even as an obsessive Cassie back in the day I would've loved to see them dance together. But the pairing seemed so obvious, it's almost like sme did everything in their power to not ship them together lol

    ReplyDelete
  126. Better than Spica Spica. All four can sing, dance, had charisma, stage presence, and had the visuals that are supposedly PS free. And they sign a capella.

There is honestly nothing more you could ask for.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Rather than SM not promoting them, I feel like it's the member/s choice to not stay in the group.
After her injury, she went to abroad instead.
If she didn't stay in the US doing ballet, CSJH probably still together now.

    ReplyDelete
  128. SNSD does seems to wanna stay as a Group for more years to come But they also realize the llimit of their idol life.

I hope there not being pessimistic about the situation

I'm worried because I can't tell if the girls are sad or they just matured. They seem more happy and dorky in 2007-2010

now most of the members look kinda empty. Maybe they just matured.. idk

I hope they see this situation in a positive mindset so they can continue and end SNSD in a good way.

In the MR MR promotions they lacked passion and enjoyment on stage so Hopefully we'll see SNSD enjoying the stage more when they release there 5th full length album later this year,

    ReplyDelete
  129. *Chinese ethnic dance

    ReplyDelete
  130. Yeah, they always just make her do the flexibility thing. She looks so graceful though and I love her lines.

    ReplyDelete
  131. Yeah they were seriously the closest you could ever get to replicating DBSK in terms of being all-rounders. Their acapellas!
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0W1ZNdklzHg

    ReplyDelete
  132. the whole reason why i liked fei so much in the first place.

    ReplyDelete
  133. She did Chinese dance, not ballet.
She hasn't really demonstrated anything but it seems like she is only limited to only leg lifts, flexibility stunts, and cartwheels thus far.

    ReplyDelete
  134. I would Boa before Kahi and Min before Hyoyeon

    ReplyDelete
  135. You have chosen very wrong word here. Victoria is not a good dancer? She is all around better dancer and has more items in her arsenal. It's so obvious while watching her movements and foot work. She is also gold and siver medalist of 2007 Beijing Dance Festival lol

    ReplyDelete
  136. No. This shows how limited and not yet developed your judging skills are.

    ReplyDelete
  137. She went abroad under the doctors orders because she was suffering from severe depression and being with her family was the best thing for her. She was also advised to do what she really loves, so after her back finally started to feel a bit better she started to train for ballet again.

She wanted to join the comeback, but like lina, she had contract obligations so she had to stay with La Ballet. (Also, LA ballet isn't jsut one of those things you leave behind. It's quite prestigious.)

    ReplyDelete
  138. sm's new girl group is going to debut soon, and we never know, maybe SM gonna treat them like SNSD (when they first debuted) and treat f(x) just like csjh. sm is just repeating their artists history. they make exo as the new suju, shinee as the new dbsk. it's marketing strategy (sorry for my english)

    ReplyDelete
  139. For this time, I agree with all the netizens comments.
Anyway, GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, I can't wait for her comeback.

    ReplyDelete
  140. Her movements, precision, cleanness, control over the parts of the body, and floor spacing is clearly way way better and more superior than other female idols. What kind of ignorance is this? Do you even know how much of effort does it need to do "simple" leg lifts during choreography? And SaralovesTae is right/. Hyo Min Minzy are only strong in popping or power styles because of their body shape. But Victoria is overall better dancer. Or professional dancer, you can call it.

BeatBurger and DJ Isak were asked who in SM is the quickest to learn a choreography. They said Victoria.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_5qXDbGegM

    ReplyDelete
  141. But i digged very much for JJ-Lina duet. Even i wish they would get married and produce beautiful babies.

  142. BeatBurger and DJ Isak were asked who in SM is the quickest to learn a choreography. They said Victoria. Victoria, who is a gold and silver medalist of 2007 Beijing Dance Festival, one of the three female students who were joined two different dance team of Beijing Dance Academy.

  143. exactly. f(x) is more popular than csjh was. And eventough sm treat csjh like that, but atleast they got their solo concert (before suju) meanwhile f(x), exo got them first, i won't say sm is neglecting f(x), but sometimes it's kinda unfair too.

    ReplyDelete
  144. so that means there's possibility to see some or all members of SM's new girlgroup in SM Rookies?

    ReplyDelete
  145. Shame on SM who decided to put emphasis on her looks rather than her dance skills. They signed her as an actress and model lol Clearly shows SM prefer looks over anythign else lol

    ReplyDelete
  146. so sm rookies will be mix gender group ?

    ReplyDelete
  147. Victoria is great in Chinese dance, there's no argument there, but she herself is rather limited in other styles. For hiphop and jazz she is only average in comparison to some other dancers in kpop and that is not so much of body shape but rather muscle control.
What i was pointing out was that so far, she hasn't really showcased anything else (other than what i already listed previously) astounding that would further credit her as a scholarship student from The Beijing Dance Academy.

  148. SM WANTS TO DEBUT SUNMI 2.0

    ReplyDelete
  149. Once chsj do comeback, as long as they have a good song, it's game over for many rookie girlgroups and they could become a threat for snsd and 2ne1. Smaller agencies need to be thankful that SM didn't do it that way.

    ReplyDelete
  150. No. I think SM Rookies is just a predebut team name. A girl group and probably 2 boy groups would eventually debut. Quite a few of the boys are too young to debut with the others any time soon, so I'm just assuming there would be 2 boy groups.

  151. They (fx) would fill a concert hall.

SMTOWN week was proof of that. I can't quite remember the stats, but they sold their shit out before EXO's did. By a long shot, and good part of the people attending were f(x) fans.

f(x) did plant themselves in a different, more mature demographic, a demographic that would like to go to one of their concerts. But who knows really, there is a reason why there is no concert.

  152. What gen is it today? o.o I'm idk a little young and I dunno who she really is ㅠ ㅠ but I want to! Can you tell you the groups of 1st gen and so on ouo??

    ReplyDelete
  153. Most see DBSK as the start of the 2nd gen and 2PM/SHINee were the end of the 2nd gen. Anyone who debuted after that, aka 2009 and onwards, is 3rd gen. I honestly don't even know anymore if there's already a 4th gen or not by now.

  154. BDA is a dance oriented university. Like what other universities do, it teaches you all aspects of dance including major and minor stuffs. From general knowledge and skills to specific ones. So it's given that she should have been developed all the basic skills and knowledge a dancer must possess. And her resume proves that. She won 1st place in modern/contemporary dance and 2nd place in ethnic dance. So in the end everything depends on familiarity. It's just she was/is less familiar with hip hop and power styles. But that doesn't mean she is not good dancer. Her body and mind were already shaped and formed as a dancer.
It's indeed true that she hasn't really showcased her everything. The blame goes to SM. They decided to promote her looks. Thus they signed her as an actress and model when they saw her on that 2007 Beijing Dance Festival.

    ReplyDelete
  155. oh i see. does sm intend to debut all of these SM Rookies into singers? or maybe they will debut them into actors/actress like go ara or lee yeon hee?

    ReplyDelete
  156. Ah okay okay~ Thank youu! ^-^ so Suju and Snsd? o.o

    ReplyDelete
  157. you're pretty much just reiterating my point; no one ever said she wasn't a good dancer.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Steph is perfect package, great body, she really can dance (ballerina), strong voice. It's pity she got back injury while promoting with CSJH in the past.

    ReplyDelete
  159. I don't think career as dancer last long enough (unless you become dance teacher). Even Zhang Zi Yi choose to become actress rather than dancer (she admitted she not naturally gifted in dancing like her peer).

    ReplyDelete
  160. lol yeah ok i bet you don't even give a shit about CSJH

    ReplyDelete
  161. Omg, that means that SM is not even willing to spend money on promoting Stephanie's comeback. What jerks. I guess EXO is keeping their plates full so even if CSJH wanted a comeback, those producers just keep shaking their head...

    ReplyDelete
  162. and Dana is a vocal teacher of some SM talent, kkk

    ReplyDelete
  163. I think they also learn ballet in Beijing Dance Academy as basic. I watch their training in Zhang Zi Yi' documentary, some class looks like gymnastic rather than ballet, kkk.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Yeah, it will be great if she can dance like this, but it's different style from chinese ethnic dance.

    http://youtu.be/WLBzSbYi4r4

    ReplyDelete
  165. Yeah, all of CSJH members really can sing, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  166. You must count Kim Sori too.

    ReplyDelete
  167. "Maybe it's an agreement with the SNSD members to not leave until the new girl group's popularty is strong." wtfffffffff

    ReplyDelete
  168. CSjh never managed to get fandom unlike snsd ,,snsd sold 100k with their debut single cjsh never attracted the half of attention snsd did

    ReplyDelete
  169. So young sm stan (f(x)) vs old sm stan (csjh) under all your comment here lol

    ReplyDelete
  170. I prefer junsu as better dancer tho in the grp

    ReplyDelete
  171. Don't wanna sound mean here but I'm so fed up with this. Remember the EXO f(x) joint concert last christmas? Did any of you who whines about how f(x) should have their solo concert first ACTUALLY attended the concert and filled up the venue? Because I can only recall the venue is filled 95% of exo fans. Don't made up any more excuses to whine, SM did try, they tested the water to see if there are actually that much of fans to attend a solo concert (eitjer f(x) or exo) to take profit from it. It's not something cheap to make such a concert, it takes so much money.. of course SM choose to go through something that not only covered the money they spent making the concert but also gain multiple times profit. I'll remind any of you (incase forgot or having memory loss) SM doing a business not a charity work.

    ReplyDelete
  172. Yes, Irene, Seulgi & Wendy (I think all will be in the new girl group)

    ReplyDelete
  173. And why didn't that audiences didn't attend the joint concert?? That was really really obvious that SM doing that to see which one should have the concert first.

    ReplyDelete
  174. but so was SNSD marketed as female Suju

    ReplyDelete
  175. Stephanie? the member that knows ballet?

    ReplyDelete
  176. That doesn't mean f(x) doesn't have enough fans to have a concert. It could just mean that more EXO fans were purchasing tickets and f(x) fans couldn't get them.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Female Yunho? Lol she is the dancing queen and one of sm choregrapher. Then Hyoyeon and Boa come next. She can also sing very very well for a dancer too. To me she is still the best dancer in kpop idol groups, including male ones

    ReplyDelete
  178. i know. and it sucks that SM only care about money. but it doesn't mean that f(x) can't fill up a concert. esp if they're doing it in china, f(x) is big enough, even miss a already has a concert, and by that i mean f(x) is more popular than miss a in china.

    ReplyDelete
  179. They should've promoted CSJH between 2009-2011 because that was the time Hallyu become popular internationally(...again). The thing is, that was also the time SNSD become really BIG and they just debuted f(x). They don't have time to promote CSJH.....do they?

....or they could have promoted them like this
    CSJH = sexy
    SNSD = fun?
    F(x) = cool
