MBC scriptwriter eats fan gift sent to SHINee's Jonghyun without permission

Article: MBC scriptwriter, "Gobbled up snacks sent by SHINee Jonghyun's fan" Facebook post controversy

Source:
TV Daily via Nate

"In Poland, SHINee Jonghyun's fan sent a whole bunch of snacks to MBC. That innocent fan probably thought that it would be delivered to Jonghyun if she wrote <MBC Address to SHINee Jonghyun>.

Unfortunately, the carefully wrapped present was delivered to our general manager who shares the same name as Jonghyun and the snacks went into the stomach of not Jonghyun but our scriptwriters...

To the Poland girl who probably feels more regretful than getting on the wrong bus, I'd like to say that we enjoyed the treats."

-

1. [+254, -3] Did she seriously write this to show off? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+192, -1] tsk tsk, from WGM producers to this, MBC is just proving themselves to be fools;

3. [+183, -1] Such psychos ㅋㅋㅋ Is she really bragging about this? Just thinking about how excited that fan must've been putting it all together only for it to turn out like this... They're so bad.

4. [+27, -0] Couldn't she just have delivered it to Jonghyun through someone else? Why would she even brag about eating up someone else's gift?

5. [+22, -3] For a scriptwriter, she sure doesn't know how scary and powerful words are considering she wrote something up like this..

6. [+21, -1] Poor foreign fan... Imagine how angry SHINee Jonghyun would be once he finds out? Way to prove yourself to be a fool... tsk tsk

7. [+19, -0] SNS must continue to exist... there is nothing better than SNS at outing people for the true fools they are.

8. [+16, -2] What a dumb scriptwriter

  2. Totally WTF? How could the scriptwriter even had the guts to post such status. I would be freakin humiliated if I were the fan!!

    ReplyDelete
  3. there have been enough online controversies for me to feel like people who do shit like this are now just doing it for the attention... like how stupid can you be to not think about the consequence of this??

  4. Is it that dramatic?

WTF. Fucking rude. I'm getting mad!!!

    ReplyDelete
  8. Okay I would understand if she ate them, it's whatever, but she had the audacity to post about it?? The freak is wrong with her?
Also she can't say she didn't know who they were for because she obviously knew and the freaking bag also says Onew. How infuriating

    ReplyDelete
  9. WTF?????????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  10. Really? A fan gift? Like, we know idols probably aren't eating our fangifts, but no need to rub our noses in it

    ReplyDelete
  11. you're bad bad bad bitch you so bad

    ReplyDelete
  12. where is the shindong dating post

    ReplyDelete
  13. That's just wrong. Really, they could've at least asked his permission to eat it if they wanted it, and you know, not posted it.

  14. "To the Poland girl who probably feels more regretful than getting on the wrong bus, I'd like to say that we enjoyed the treats."

    wow
    no apology, regrets or whatsoever
    very polite person

    ReplyDelete
  15. wow that's fucking rude and stupid

    ReplyDelete
  16. That's really rude considering how the fan will feel when she sees this. She is foreign fan who went through a lot of trouble and expenses to show her love for her Idol.

    ReplyDelete
  17. MBC WTF srsly -__-

    ReplyDelete
  18. well atleast send them over to SM so they could hand the gifts to Jonghyun instead of eating it up? Wow WGM staffs are pretty notorious nowadays

    ReplyDelete
  19. god... how dare to write about it >.< poor fan.... i really would be so sad

    ReplyDelete
  20. MBC get your shit together

    ReplyDelete
  21. wow i am so mad considering i know how much it would cost someone to send a package to other country.

BECAUSE SOMETIMES THE DELIVERY FEE COSTS HIGHER THAN THE GOODS ITSELF. WOW.

it disgusts even more that she wrote "To the fan from Poland who's probably more resentful than I am when I miss my bus, thank you very much for the snack."

    so done. bYE.

    ReplyDelete
  22. MBC, YOU ARE ONE FUCKED UP BROADCAST COMPANY.
DON'T YOUR STAFFS LEARN MANNERS AT ALL? -.-

    ReplyDelete
  23. that pisses me off. i was planning to sleep but now i'm just laying here pissed off.

    ReplyDelete
  24. this is ridiculous, they don't know how much money that girl spent on the gift thinking his oppa would receive it.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Speaking of Shindong. Does her fiancee from Bonamana era dumps him? Or all of those are just publicity stunt

    ReplyDelete
  26. the news was just released. NB might be translating the article as we speak

    ReplyDelete
  27. why in the world would you announce this? soo stupid

    ReplyDelete
  28. I can just see that girl crying together with her empty wallet while reading this news

    ReplyDelete
  29. Is MBC a shawol haters or what? What to do if the fan found out omg......

    ReplyDelete
  30. i don't think she's even sorry, omfg i am so mad rn

    ReplyDelete
  31. I think they've broken up. They were together for quite a while even after Bonamana.

    ReplyDelete
  32. I'd be pissed off if I was the fan. How can the scriptwriter brag about this ? Sorry but she is dumb as hell.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I hope the fan that sent the gift doesn't see this article... she's going to be so upset ):

    ReplyDelete
  34. sm said they broke up last year... apparently they unfollowed each other on twitter, but idk lol

    ReplyDelete
  35. This isn't the reality that Poland girl wanted to her gift for Jonghyun :/

    ReplyDelete
  36. its from Poland! to Korea! wtf are you doing bitch?!

"" ".....our general manager who shares the same name as Jonghyun"

so your general manager is SHINee member now? wow.

"....I'd like to say that we enjoyed the treats."

bleh i cant take it anymore.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Little Freak 'ㅂ'*April 11, 2014 at 5:10 AM

this is so ridiculous. They hurt that fan's feeling and now they take it for a joke ??? SHINee is doing many show for MBC [Minho as MC Music Core, Jonghyun's Blue Night radio, Key WGM Global, Taemin used to be in WGM] and MBC Staff treat their fans like that. They are all so rude.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Whether people like it or not-idols are still nothing in the entertainment industry to some people. And no fandom can challenge that.

    ReplyDelete
  39. wow that is cruel, especially for a fan in a faraway country who may never get to see them. some snacks may not mean a thing to her but they clearly mean a lot to that fan. what a dick

    ReplyDelete
  40. damn shinee fans sound so pressed, its just a snack lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. i heard that MBC staffs treat idols like shit too

    ReplyDelete
  42. are you that hungry?

    ReplyDelete
  43. seems like swearing at taemin wasnt enough..... MBC shit!!!

    ReplyDelete
  44. nth strike from mbc tss

    ReplyDelete
  45. It is just a snack but it's really unnecessary to post it online and brag about it.

    ReplyDelete
  46. "To the Poland girl who probably feels more regretful than getting on the wrong bus, I'd like to say that we enjoyed the treats."

Screw this! That mbc producer is an asshole.

    ReplyDelete
  47. i'm not a shinee's fan but seriously where are people's consciences? that's messed up. not only are they thieves, the person who wrote this has such a spiteful heart. i feel sorry for her and everyone she comes in contact with.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I live in Europe and postage is sometimes about 2x the price of what you are posting.the poor girl probably worked and saved up money...this is really low...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Poor girl :'(

    ReplyDelete
  50. I'm not shinee fan but this is about respect.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I just hope jonghyun reads about this and thank the fan/tweeting..that will make her feel better :(

    ReplyDelete
  52. feeling cryin reading this.. how rude of you. jonghyun must feel bad towards his fan.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Meh, Jonghyun can't eat this kind of processed sweets anyway. Have you seen his body? He clearly has a strict diet and exercises a lot. Glad someone got to eat them because if SHINee's manager got them he'd probably have just thrown them out any way. Boy bands on SHINee's level must receive hundreds of packages a week.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Oh my gosh and Jonghyun works at MBC doing his radio. They could have given it to him. That bitch.

    ReplyDelete
  55. It also says Onew on the other package... you're not gonna tell me there's the scriptwriter is called Onew and Jonghyun..... poor girl ;/ does that woman think this is funny to post or something...

    ReplyDelete
  56. Little Freak 'ㅂ'*April 11, 2014 at 5:15 AM

SM really puts many idols on MBC shows, but they treat their artists and fans like trash. the staff should have more respect !@#$%^&*()

    ReplyDelete
  57. I'd be really really upset if I were the girl :( you could just eat it and not tell anyone

    ReplyDelete
  58. I'm pretty sure we all know that the all gifts that are delivered to our idols are definitely received by them personally, but posting it out in such a manner is definitely showing ultimate rudeness. You create/produce/write shows, but after all your hard work, you don't even deserve the respect from fans just from that one post. Utterly disappointed in mbc and the people behind all the shit caused for shinee's fandom. First the idol sports show, then wgm, now you're going further into the fandom by eating fan gifts and posting it like it's something to be proud of? I'm so disgusted by your behavior and your childishness for a grown up.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Yeah, it's good that food wasn't wasted but there was really no need for it to be posted online that way.

    ReplyDelete
  60. It's rude to eat/use someone else's belonging without permission

    ReplyDelete
  61. And they're not even apologetic about it. WTH is on that scriptwriter's mind

    ReplyDelete
  62. Even if Jonghyun couldn't have eaten it, he would have given it to someone else like his mom or sister. It's the thought that counts, he wouldn't throw it.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Rotten. What's disgusting is they showed if off on SNS sites like it's some kind of fucking award.

    ReplyDelete
  64. To the Poland girl who probably feels more regretful than getting on the wrong bus, I'd like to say that we enjoyed the treats.

    ReplyDelete
  65. It's not about the snack. It's about respect. This person at snack that was not for her, she also post it on internet bragging about it without even an apology so of course the fans will pressed about it.

    ReplyDelete
  66. oppa I'll be down down down~April 11, 2014 at 5:18 AM

for those who says this is no biggie, have some conscience, you

    ReplyDelete
  67. That the reason why I didn't send gifts to my idols because I don't know if they'll really receive it

    ReplyDelete
  68. Actually it's good that it was posted because now it's receiving publicity and Jonghyun will probably put a tweet out about it or something. At least now he knows of her existence. If the staff hadn't taken it then this would just be one of thousands of useless treats and trinkets sent by fans that go unnoticed at SM. SM must have rooms full of crap fans send in lol. Idols don't have the time to go through it all.

    ReplyDelete
  69. Bet most of food gifts ended up in the managers and other staff stomach..

    ReplyDelete
  70. Scriptwriter nim you are so rude.
You should apologize and reflect then showing it off.. What person are you..

    ReplyDelete
  71. Little Freak 'ㅂ'*April 11, 2014 at 5:20 AM

he could give to someone, like Key who always likes sweets. but this is not about the food, it's about this person's manner. she ate all the things which are not for her and even joke about it on the internet. imagine how the girl and Jonghyun will be mad when they find out the truth

    ReplyDelete
  72. moral of the story : don't waste your money on your fav. idols especially when you live outside Korea . and especially when you aren't sure where to send those gift . just use the money for your own usage instead . our fav. idols already have a lot of money to buy foods or anything that they want :) its enough to support them musically since they are performer .

    ReplyDelete
  73. wow , really ? didn't know that . how ?

    ReplyDelete
  74. I thought they will learn from the 'swearing' matter. I guess I am wrong. How stupid can people get seriously? Like hello, do you really need to post something like this online????? How rude!!!! To think that Minho and Jonghyun are both working on MBC as Mucore's MC and Radio DJ. ughhh how low of you, MBC Staffs!

    ReplyDelete
  75. Wow, seriously? :/ One would think they would be more mindful and at least not post about it.

    ReplyDelete
  76. My heart breaks seeing this..

    ReplyDelete
  77. fool and rude. Hopefully in the next few days jonghyun will be found this, stated on his twitter, and personally call that fool-rude scriptwriter.

    ReplyDelete
  78. That's just f*cking disrespectful. The fan didn't pay cheap for those gifts, and yet--- And to think that she even went as far as posting it online, I---

    http://media.tumblr.com/cca1aecac1e29350c97a2a2c853e310c/tumblr_inline_mrybgzE4751qz4rgp.gif *judging time*

    ReplyDelete
  79. True, this is why I think most idols discourage fans from sending food unless it's the type to feed a whole staff before performances or whatever. But honestly if it was posted like "oh Jonghyun's so nice for giving us these snacks from a Polish fan" nobody would really mind. It's the way it was presented that was irksome.

    ReplyDelete
  80. Because the video has Music Core's logo all over it. Same with the leaked Growl video.

    ReplyDelete
  81. SM doing investigation, if it's true that mbc who was leaked that video (considering-if true that video already in mbc hands) i think surely SM will sue or at least banned their artist on mbc.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  83. this is why you support by buying your artists music. pretty sure they can buy their own snacks and gifts lol.

    ReplyDelete
  84. i bet she/he cannot buy one of those...

    ReplyDelete
  85. yup..that video was suppose to be the reference for mbc..so they can monitor it first before filming the comeback stage

    ReplyDelete
  86. 1. [+254, -3] Did she seriously write this to show off? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

stupid stupid stupid! that fan must've spent lots of money and effort in sending those things. that script writer need some serious help. urghhh.

    ReplyDelete
  87. i wonder what kind of shitty program this scriptwriter could possible have written. is she shameless or brainless or both

    ReplyDelete
  88. "Unfortunately, the carefully wrapped present was delivered to our general manager who shares the same name as Jonghyun"

so they thought the manager has a fan now,,

    ReplyDelete
  89. Rude, they didn't even apologize. And why would a fan even send gifts to a freaking scriptwriter?

    ReplyDelete
  90. not stuffs from poland. it's like when you go on an oversea trip and go back with gifts for your friends, it's not like they can't buy their own snacks and gifts.

    ReplyDelete
  91. seriously looks like she's just trying to piss off Jonghyun and his fans... and to put it on SNS? -_-

    ReplyDelete
  92. could she be more stupid than this?

    ReplyDelete
  93. conclusion: MBC have a bunch of son/daughter of the b*tch people.
Opps, I just want to comfort people only, I am joking only;)
and even if it is same name but she wrote: SHINee Jonghyun, is your manager in SHINee?? or is your so delu and tot he was a member of SHINee?? They are just making excuse to eat that snack.. poor fan..:(

    ReplyDelete
  94. So rude.
That kisiel is so good. I would sell my bed to taste it once again. Lemon, cranberry, strawberry, peach, frugo. I'm dying of abstinence....

    ReplyDelete
  95. WHAT A RUDE MOTHERFUCKER! SO MEAN!! :(((((

    ReplyDelete
  96. I hope SM will stop sending SHINee in MBC.
Tho they favor SM idols in shows so much, I really dislike how they have dumb staffs.

    ReplyDelete
  97. She can get a stomacache for eating someone's food without permission right?

    ReplyDelete
  98. It looks really yummy too. Dragonfruit flavored..I feel so sorry for this girl :(

    ReplyDelete
  99. What is it, a drink?

    ReplyDelete
  100. I don't understand why the general manager would think it was for him though.

    ReplyDelete
  101. WHAT IS HAPPENING?! Is that really a post about Polish girl here on NB? :O This surely sucks, I mean they not only knew it wasn't for them but they also bragged about eating this. I mean come on, shipping costs 20$ or even more. If you're doing it, don't brag about it. This just proves that this scriptwriter is pretty much stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Rudeeeeeeee on another level...
n to make it worst...it came from a foreign fan..
If they knew it was meant for Jonghyun n Onew..y just don't pass it to them tru d company?

    ReplyDelete
  103. But she wrote SHINee Jonghyun. I mean come on. It's obvious who it's addressed to.

    ReplyDelete
  104. they surely knew it was for Jonghyun, the other package even had "Onew" on it, they're just making fun of that girl

    ReplyDelete
  105. Ikr so freaking rude

    ReplyDelete
  106. She even took photos of the snacks, wow.

    ReplyDelete
  107. disqus_3XPXCBe4SBApril 11, 2014 at 5:52 AM

people can spend their money where they want to spend it. What irks me is that scriptwriter clearly has no sense of morality. This is cruelty

    ReplyDelete
  108. bad meaning bad not bad meaning good you know

    ReplyDelete
  109. Kinda hard considering that Jonghyun's Blue Night radio program is on MBC.

    ReplyDelete
  110. What... What horror story did I just read...

    ReplyDelete
  111. Yea the woman must suffer in jail for the rest of her life, but not death penalty

    ReplyDelete
  112. This sickens me to the core.

    ReplyDelete
  113. I really can't sympathize with this woman, I agree with the netizens.

    She deserves the death penalty.

    ReplyDelete
  114. Death sentence is a mere child game, how about torturing her to the point of dying?

    ReplyDelete
  115. im actually glad that in my country, it'll be death penalty.

    ReplyDelete
  116. WUTTTTTT , that's horrible ! poor girl
this woman needs to suffer all her life , not only 15 years :/

    ReplyDelete
  117. Death Penalty.. this is seriously a severe case of parricide..

    ReplyDelete
  118. If she's not gonna get a death sentence, she should get life in prison at least.

    ReplyDelete
  119. How did they not stop this or notice something was off when she got second degree burns? Omfg this is actually sickening.

    ReplyDelete
  120. That poor child...

    ReplyDelete
  121. OMG teared up reading the article ='(

    ReplyDelete
  122. Holy cow. Yeah this woman needs to stay in prison for life. And take some anger management classes.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Oh my God. If she's at my country, she'll get death sentence. What the

    ReplyDelete
  124. Why din't the husband do anything...

    ReplyDelete
  125. Oh my god... reading the story seems so unreal <///3 Breaks my heart that these kind of things happen in reality..

15 years of imprisonment is not enough for this woman :(

    ReplyDelete
  126. what the.... what a terrible mother, no matter what angle you see. it is just literally bad to beat an innocent child to the point of taking her life. smh

    ReplyDelete
  127. I'm curious as to whether the father even knew about what that woman was doing to her child? If he did, shame on him. If he didn't...well then I just feel so terribly sad that his child could not go to her own father for help.

    ReplyDelete
  128. I really want to know.

    ReplyDelete
  129. Just 15 year ? The girl lost her life and that woman will be able to freely walk on the street after 15y in prison ?
They seriously need to re-do their law system, it's getting ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  130. WTF. What was going on through that... thing's mind to beat a child like that. To the point of death. Just pure evil.

    ReplyDelete
  131. That kid.. that poor kid.. :(
I don't want her to get a death penalty, I want her forever in prison. She must pay it for the rest of her life.

    ReplyDelete
  132. This is disgusting ! If there's something I can't stand, it's child abuse !
    That woman deserves to burn.

    ReplyDelete
  133. I firmly believe that if you harm a child, especially beating them to DEATH, that you should have your own life ruined - whether that be death sentence or life in prison.

There are certain criminals that can be forgiven and rehabilitated. This woman doesn't deserve justice.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Will never understand the laws in Korea

    ReplyDelete
  135. Cold blooded woman. I am disgusted with her action. Down with her and those jury who only sentenced her for 15 years. This is homicide

    ReplyDelete
  136. If it had been a first offense it might make sense that "she didn't mean" to murder that child. Ok, no it doesn't make sense. It's horrible. If I steal a bank and say I didn't mean to steal all that money I just wanted a little money, it's that ok? I honestly hope those petitions go somewhere. That woman's lawyer must be the best in the world.
South Korea has a death penalty? Wow I didn't know.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Bless her soul, she really went through a living nightmare. I'm sure she is in a much better place now. <3 NO HUMAN BEING should ever have to go through such torture and pain.

    ReplyDelete
  138. OMG thats so bad ..she need to stick in jail for the rest of her life ..I was imagining while reading :( poor kid

    ReplyDelete
  139. the fuck. its a sham that the abuse was able to continue for so long after the woman broke the girls leg, But I can't say my home country is much better. look at the baby p case. they got indefinite sentences but their minimal terms are pathetic and multiple opportunities were missed to save the child.15 years for continuous abuse and eventual murder of a child is not good enough.

    ReplyDelete
  140. I can never unread what I just read...

    ReplyDelete
  141. ...Forced the child to strip down to pour hot water over her. The child suffered from second degree burns....
    No intention of murder?? Really?
One sick woman..may u burn in hell

    ReplyDelete
  142. husband, polices, teachers, everyone around that kid... there's no way they can't see what happened to her

    ReplyDelete
  143. If you think SK's laws are bullshit then you must not know a thing about Norway's shitty system.

This is a horrible story. May the girl rest in peace.

    ReplyDelete
  144. 15 years is actually standard in my country and I personally think that 15-25 years is long enough in cases like these.

    ReplyDelete
  145. What is wrong with that woman to do that for 4 years.....?? Don't teachers report to authorities for injuries they notice on kids in Korea? :(

    ReplyDelete
  146. poor baby :((

    she's just 8 y.o for godsake
i hope she is in peace on the other side of the world, away from every evil things

    ReplyDelete
  147. This might sound naive but where is humanity? I find it difficult to kill an insect yet this woman can litterally break a kid bones. Pouring boiling water on someone? Is this medieval time??? Let's try that on herself first to see how it feels like

    ReplyDelete
  148. Excuse me, where the hell was her dad?!

    ReplyDelete
  149. Considering they generally don't do much to deal with bullies that even do attempted murder (at least in the schools I went), expecting them to report anything to the authorities is wishful thinking.

    ReplyDelete
  150. i am really upset by this. i don't believe in death penalties but i definitely think she should get life in prison. there is no need for someone like that to be released from prison in 15 years or less. and what was the father doing? was he penalized as well? cause he knew it was a harmful environment for his child and could damn well remove her her from it. and everyone else who saw this happening couldn't do a thing? it's one thing to follow the rules/values of your culture and try and keep your nose out of another family's business, but sometimes you need to step out of those boundaries to save a life. they were only a family by dictionary definition.

    ReplyDelete
  151. 6. [+21, -1] Poor foreign fan... Imagine how angry SHINee Jonghyun would be once he finds out? Way to prove yourself to be a fool... tsk tsk

What? He couldn't care less (he would pretend to care) abot this. The truth is, this is really a petty matter to him. He gets dozens & dozens of presents on a daily basis. Fangirls make such a big deal out of this it's just ridiculous (God I feel embarrassed). At least the writer told the truth. Sure the fan must feel a bit regretful but that's the most a "SANE" fan should feel. It's just freaking snacks. U want the girl to think Jonghyun got the presents when he didnt. Of course not. And why did she send to MBC? Stupid is the reason surely. And why should MBC resend this to Jonghyun. Why should they? SBS, MBC, KBS should have gotten a lot of these stuff but they are not idols postmen. It's the idols & their agencies responsibility to inform the fans where to send gifts. If u dont know where to send, then dont fu***ing send

    ReplyDelete
  152. I'd say throw her into the middle of a minefield in the DMZ. If not, she should also be forced to do hard manual labor in prison, just like the old times.

    ReplyDelete
  153. There is a special place in hell for people like this...

    ReplyDelete
  154. Death penalty is a gift for criminals, she should get life in prison

    ReplyDelete
  155. what the fuck was her father doing all this time? He deserves to be punished as well for letting his child stay around that monster.

    ReplyDelete
  156. in my country... this cases are non bailable and reclusion perpetua....

    ReplyDelete
  157. This is why I support death penalty.

    ReplyDelete
  158. Murder a child, I'd say the perpetrator deserves the death penalty (whether hanging, electric chair or the firing squad) or a brutal life sentence that involves providing only bread and water and hard manual labor around the clock on a daily basis for the rest of their sorry-ass lives. And be subject to beatings for even minor infractions.

That's what that woman deserves, and her husband also deserves a good stay in jail for neglect and not doing shit when he could have done so.

Along with that, absolute shame on the lawyers that defended her. Utterly disgraceful.

    ReplyDelete
  159. just 15 years for this demonic case?, meanwhile they are punishing kid who curse while gaming...........sigh

    ReplyDelete
  160. 15 years? she should stay for the rest of her life in prison

    ReplyDelete
  161. Makes me sick to know that nether her dad, WHO WAS THERE or anyone else who saw her injuries questioned where they came from, R.I.P the girl <\3

  162. usually you post stuff about k-showbiz, kkk. Unlike koreabang.

ONLY 15 YEARS? That means in 15 years this sick woman is free again!! THIS IS NOT OKAY

    ReplyDelete
  165. I would say give her a life sentence with no chance of parole instead. Make her suffer.

    ReplyDelete
  166. Not if the criminal themselves are afraid of dying.

Life in prison should only be granted if they make it utterly hellish - forced labor, bare minimum food and beatings.

    ReplyDelete
  167. She should've at least been given a life sentence with no chance of release. AT LEAST. This is too much. Only get a punishment of a mere 15 years in jail just because she claimed that she didn't intend to murder that kid? Then what was her original intention, to cripple her? To put her in a coma?

    ReplyDelete
  168. "No intention of murder"
How can you break 16 bones from her ribcage and have no intention of murder?

On the other hand, Korea's laws are crazy. I just....can't...smh

    ReplyDelete
  169. so sad for the poor girl, how hard must she have endured TTTTTT
the step mom should be given life sentence and sever torture .

    ReplyDelete
  170. The entire hell is meant for her.

    ReplyDelete
  171. You're missing the point. Yeah, idols probably never receive even half the gifts their fans send them, and incidents like this have probably happened many times before. But the reason people are pissed off is due to the way this writer is showing off as if what she did is something to be proud of. It's rude and insensitive to both SHINee and their fans. She should have just kept it to herself.

    ReplyDelete
  172. This world has turn into place that is dangerous...

    ReplyDelete
  173. Made her pour boiling water over herself? You know what? That's not even having a short fuse and taking your anger out on her (which is despicable, anyway), that is pure premeditated evil, that poor, poor child...
And to think that none of her teachers, the doctors or nurses at the hospital she went to or even her own father either didn't notice or didn't think to do anything...

    ReplyDelete
  174. The girl should have sent it to the company, not the broadcast station. But what the scriptwriters did was so fcking rude. Makes me wonder if Korean always take international fans for fools. And I don't know about Jonghyun, but if I found out a stranger touched my stuffs without permission, I would give them a piece of my mind (or a punch in the face)

    ReplyDelete
  175. Now that you mention Norway, it absolutely horrified me that the mass-shooter in 2011 that murdered well over 70 people and wounding hundreds only got a meagerly 21 years of prison.

    ReplyDelete
  176. and her dad ignore all this... i can understand she lied about broken leg, but how can a person lie about scalding? so her dad didn't care...

    ReplyDelete
  177. It'a sort of pudding, a little bit more fluid and fruit-flavored.

it's just my wishful thinking :(
SM won't even bother to comment on this issue.

  180. i want to believe that she's in a better place, i want to say nice things about a life of such a young child, but how can somebody say anything nice when she has barely lived. it's so heartbreaking.

    ReplyDelete
  181. Seriously? Fix your goddamn law.

    ReplyDelete
  182. Killing someone else will solve the problem.
Who will kill the Person who killed her? and so on? or are you saying there are some people who have the rights to kill someone?.

    ReplyDelete
  185. "I did not intend to kill my stepdaughter."
Translation: I didn't hope she'd die, but I had every intention to beat and torture the hell out of her.

    ReplyDelete
  186. In my opinion, criminals like that woman should be tortured, canned, hit, poisoned, and make them suffer in prison for a number of years before letting them to die in pain. This applies to rapist, killer and criminals who did cruel acts.

    ReplyDelete
  187. And end his career over a few sweets? Not likely. Jonghyun probably won't say anything about what happened, but the writer will probably apologize if she wants to keep her job.

    ReplyDelete
  188. .... korea needs to fix their laws... like IMMEDIATELY

    ReplyDelete
  189. Twenty years for every year that child suffered, and another twenty for every year of her life that was taken from her.

    ReplyDelete
  190. How the hell can anyone do that to a child. And why did the father or anyone else around the child not do anything.

    ReplyDelete
