Stellar's less than steller promo teaser

"The more likes you click, the more is unveiled!"

Article: Stellar uses mosaic pictures to promote comeback 'going too far?'

Source: Ilgan Sports via Nate

1. [+140, -2] Is this the Facebook of a prostitute? What is this ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [79, -0] This is really going too far ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ What is this? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Do they think this is Japan??????? So pathetic..............

3. [+64, -2] I saw their music video and even as a woman myself, I thought it was dirty..

4. [+12, -0] It's a bit wrong of me to say this but it looks like a promo ad for a porn site

5. [+12, -1] Porno level...

6. [+10, -1] So the company is treating their own artist like a prostitute... How is this teaser any different from a prostitution house? Even porn ads have more covered than this teaser

7. [+7, -1] So cheap... I feel bad for the Stellar members. I'm sure they're forced into doing this.. can't imagine how upset they are with themselves. They worked so hard to become singers and this is the cheap concept they're given...

8. [+7, -1] Showing your body for benefits... How are they any different from prostitutes?

9. [+6, -0] Their parents would faint upon seeing this;

10. [+6, -1] Looks like those paper ads you'd see rolling around in the alleys of some cheap neighborhood.

  1. This is how you get attention as a nugu group currently, so I can't blame them. All they need now is a Brave Brothers song like AOA and they are on their way to stardom.

  2. I laughed so hard at this XD

    ReplyDelete
  3. the music video is not out though.. only a teaser

    I'm sorry you guys...but LOL. I laughed.

  6. Still how would you feel if your little sister, or daughter is promoted like this? I feel really bad for them thir parents must be having a heart attack

    ReplyDelete
  7. Stellar has to find like a solid image for their group. Rocket Girl made me think they were going to be a retro/quirky girl group but they went all over the place after that.

Does anyone even remember that song? It was so bad but I still always secretly go back to it.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Eric why u let this happened

    ReplyDelete
  9. Every company sees how successful Girl's Day became last year so they are obviously trying to replicate that by using similar formulas. AOA had Brave Brothers, yes, but it was still a sexy concept that gave them their first win. I'm pretty sure we are just seeing the beginning of this trend..........

    ReplyDelete
  10. Desperate times calls for desperate measures.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Well if it works who can blame them?

    ReplyDelete
  12. well I'm no prude but I admit that once I saw the dance I felt it was a bit too "forced"? Like they're trying too hard to look sexy, it didn't looked natural, I guess that's what I'm trying to say. But the song is not that bad.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Promotion to the lowest and cheapest level wow. I watched the teaser and I was jamming to the beats until I saw them shaking their butts awkwardly...

    ReplyDelete
  14. "3. [+64, -2] I saw their music video and even as a woman myself, I thought it was dirty.."
obviously this marketing technique is working if it's getting people to watch their mv teaser

    ReplyDelete
  15. The more likes it gets, the more of her body is revealed. What a gross way to promote a group....

    ReplyDelete
  16. The sexy concept going to far

    ReplyDelete
  17. Did all the companies get together and decide that 2014 was going to be the year of sexiness?

    ReplyDelete
  18. the comments above say they watched the mv when only the teaser is out. the person you replied to didn't say anything about their opinion on it though?

    ReplyDelete
  19. This is just tacky and cheap. Why, Eric, why?!

    ReplyDelete
  20. You can call them prostitutes, tryhards, cheap, dirty, disgusting, etc idols most feared word is Nugu

    ReplyDelete
  21. I thought this is news about you-know-what!

    ReplyDelete
  22. because of this, i want to see their teaser. wow what a strategy. you got me

    ReplyDelete
  23. If they're atleast more recognized then before, that's another prove that sexy concept is sell and I'm hoping to see that happen just for the tears of netizen lol

    ReplyDelete
  24. Stellar's marketing team sucks ass

    ReplyDelete
  25. even worse, not knowing they even exist.

    ReplyDelete
  26. "8. [+7, -1] Showing your body for benefits... How are they any different from prostitutes?"
He/she means stripers, right? Say he mean it. Please. Because prostitutes do sex for money, so it's waaaay different. If someone doesn't know that, it's trully... Sad. Not all stripers do sex for money, and they actually take out all of their clothes off, so it's a long way to go for them to be stripers/prostitutes.

BTW, I don't care about "too sexy concept", but their outfits are so ugly. Their butts looked totally weird (except for Yul's) and their legs also. WTH, seriously. T^T

The only girl group I like in cute style is going to sexy. Dammit. u.u

    ReplyDelete
  27. OMG Eric no!!! world what is going on??

    ReplyDelete
  28. From which entertainment they are ? Feel bad for girls.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I want this group to do well since Eric invested so much time into producing them, but what the fuck is going on...

    ReplyDelete
  30. Sex sells its nothing new in the entertainment industry kpop has always been sexual no sure why people are acting so surprised by all this sexual shit

    ReplyDelete
  31. so what if they totally trolled and you keep clicking and its something entirely different than what we think

    ReplyDelete
  32. The song in the teaser doesn't sound so bad, but dear lord! The black tights and showing off the boobs were too much for me. What ever happned to classy sexy?

    ReplyDelete
  33. Cant believe that stellar comes from a company under Eric of Shinhwa. What a disappointment

    ReplyDelete
  34. This is too much.
I wonder what goes through Stellar's minds when they were taking these photos and what they truly think about this marketing strategy.
Everyone is going sexy, I'd say it'd be good to go for a cute/natural theme. Go against the trend.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Yep, I mean SHINHWA had a nude photo book.

    ReplyDelete
  36. wow... so embarassing for them :/ but sad truth is that they will get more likes on this rather than same concept for a song "more likes you click, more of the song you will listen"

    ReplyDelete
  37. Isn't this Eric's girl group.. Why ;(

    ReplyDelete
  38. Des bitches look like a couple of hoes from da club.

    ReplyDelete
  39. damn straight gurl.

    ReplyDelete
  40. but the whole ''sexy'' trend has been around forever in kpop just this time its being shoved down our throats more but kpop is far from innocent listen to snsd they have some really sexual lyrics

    ReplyDelete
  41. You should read this interview. I don't think the girls really have a say at all but go along with it because it's what gets them recognized.

    ReplyDelete
  43. This isn't the person's original comment, my response was to her original

    ReplyDelete
  44. 140upvotes is the top comment and there was a teaser released, not an mv, so big chance this person didn't even watch at all lol. At least the other comments only talk about image teasers, the reaction would've definitely been worse after seeing the choreo.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well, GsD didn't invent the sexy concept nor were they first ones to do it and become popular. Many groups have done sexy and became popular not just girls day.

    ReplyDelete
  46. In a way, they are "prostitutes"... in the sense that they are selling themselves....
That's why it baffles me why some people REALLY want to become idols. Behind all the glamor, there is something dark.

    ReplyDelete
  47. That's what nugu is. It's like basically asking "who?" because they don't know you exist

    ReplyDelete
  48. glad some netizens are able to separate the artist from the company.

    ReplyDelete
  49. this is seriously too much-_-

    ReplyDelete
  50. amaya aguero monzonFebruary 11, 2014 at 9:02 PM

LOL this really looks like those porno ads at the side of a site !!

    ReplyDelete
  51. No, I meant. that being called nugu is SOMETHING. They have been acknowledged as a nobody group....somethings are better than nothing....

    ReplyDelete
  52. The company must really be getting desperate if they're going this far

    ReplyDelete
  53. I feel like at first they have no idea the reality of what it takes to be an idol and once they start to understand the price they have to pay, it's too late for them to get out because of the slave contracts and etc...

    ReplyDelete
  54. LOL pathetic girlband ever..

    ReplyDelete
  55. ahh okay :) sorry about that

    ReplyDelete
  56. 9. [+6, -0] Their parents would faint upon seeing this;

I wonder what the parents think about this tbh.

    ReplyDelete
  57. The pictures aren't all that bad, but the click and see more thing is well yea... I however have a slight problem with the way they are clothed in the MV teaser. That is a sure way to get attention, bad attention and well it seems tasteless.

    ReplyDelete
  58. you naive. You think the parents weren't informed before they the photo shoot and MV filming? They probably were at the photo shoot and the MV filming as well.

  59. "The more likes you click, the more is unveiled!"

    http://wjlondon.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/Uh_wtf_gif.gif

    ReplyDelete
  60. I wonder how many will participate on this liking thing cause shit, it's one thing for the company to pull this shit, but when the public encourages it...

    ReplyDelete
  61. Has anyone seen their 19+ MV teaser?

I was reminded of this when I saw that lol

    http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_agHXcORx9eY/Sfe_0eJDrpI/AAAAAAAAB3g/ZjFAKipWjck/s400/vintageworkout5.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  62. This! The black tight and the low cut shirts were so cheap and gross to look at.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Was I the only one who saw the picture and read 'porno teaser'?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Yeah this was a really bad way to reveal teasers.

    ReplyDelete
  65. There's nothing naive about me, not everyone is a tiger mom, when it's other groups you hear "Their company forced them to do this" so what makes you think these girls are any different a company is a company and their only concern is money, which these girls agreed to earn for them when they signed their contracts. Unfortunately this is what their company chose to do with them.

    ReplyDelete
  66. There's nothing wrong with being sexy and showing what you got, but when you intentionally make it fapping material for the guys, it ends up being tasteless and degrading for the female members involved.

    ReplyDelete
  67. http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131110180842/vampirediaries/images/e/e8/What-Minion.gif

    ReplyDelete
  68. The girls are all adults so parents won't have to be informed. Most idols live far from their families and rarely see them even for holidays. Parents don't have any power over this, really, since the company makes the decisions and idols are under contract.

    ReplyDelete
  69. lol now that's all I'm gonna think about when I see it.

    ReplyDelete
  70. WHAT THE F*CK?!?! ISN'T STELLAR FROM ERIC? LIKE SHINHWAS ERIC? OH GOD WHAT?!?!

    ReplyDelete
  71. lol, why would they mosaic this when there is already a non mosaic version of this out already? Anyways, group is going to flop, they've never had any success with their past songs (rocket girl, study or UFO)

    ReplyDelete
  72. I feel sorry for them.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Lol That's all I could think about when I saw it

    ReplyDelete
  74. It reminds of those websites that you have to share, and after like 300+ clicks the naked pics are unveiled ... oh gosh

    ReplyDelete
  75. 7. [+7, -1] So cheap... I feel bad for the Stellar members. I'm sure they're forced into doing this.. can't imagine how upset they are with themselves. They worked so hard to become singers and this is the cheap concept they're given...

That's really sad truth in the industry. Idols have no voice in what kind concept they will be doing. Companies will do anything to get reaction from the people even if it means shooting this kind low quality teaser.

    ReplyDelete
  79. At first, I was like "whooooo the fuck are Stellar"?!

And then I remembered they're that REEAALLLY bad girl group Eric from Shinhwa debuted like 2 or 3 years ago

Wow... from "Rocket Girl" to this... =/

    ReplyDelete
  80. I usually love sexy concepts but this was too much. I would be shocked to see Beyonce or Britney even do a concept like this

    ReplyDelete
  81. i prefer their ALIEN FEELZ concept last time. this is...... err....

    ReplyDelete
  82. so cheap.....rn't they the group who can really sing?

    ReplyDelete
  83. No. That's SPICA.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Thats too fuckin much, the first time I saw the teaser I can see half of their ass, its like damn!!!! lol

    ReplyDelete
  85. true, and yet i cant say no

    http://media.giphy.com/media/pcfdfm6hjTvji/giphy.gif

    ReplyDelete
  86. This is so wrong

    ReplyDelete
  87. Dang this is like those ads for exotic dancers at clubs

    ReplyDelete
  88. Its funny how you call that person naive lol

    ReplyDelete
  89. Isn't it a bit hypocritical though when people say this is a bit too much but are the first ones to go watch the music video when it's released?
    I think it is.

    ReplyDelete
  90. Well...I could complain about how there is a PLETHORA of sexy concepts this years, but this brings attention. Let's be honest here. Stellar isn't a well known group despite Eric as their founder. In order to be noticed, the management's first thought is "let's cause controversy". They went to a "Let's Study" to "Let's Strip". Plus, they have a track record of not so favorable songs, so I can see why they went this route.

    ReplyDelete
  91. if i'm not wrong eric is not the ceo of this company it's like andy who is not the ceo of top media, so it is not as if they had the power to everything concerning stellar, teen top, 100 etc, it's already difficult for them to be shinhwa with shinhwa company etc

    ReplyDelete
  92. I miss the 'KPOP' that lured me in to be a kpoppers. I can get all these prostitute-like idols by following all those american pop stars.. but in kpop? no. stop, don't do this. No.... what have you done???

    ReplyDelete
  93. The MV teaser is the most revealing thing I've seen from K-Pop for a while and the choreography is just... I can't. Song sounds good but this is where I draw the line. This makes even Girl's Day and AOA look so tame (they weren't that bad though).

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7kaa2mzx70

    ReplyDelete
  94. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7kaa2mzx70

    ReplyDelete
  95. omg i can see his buttcrack thats not sexy at all

    ReplyDelete
  96. what is the related with eric n stellar?

    ReplyDelete
  97. i wonder if someday sexy concept is considering ordinary what will the idol managements do? literally shoot a porn M/V?

    ReplyDelete
  98. where is mogef when we need them !!!

    ReplyDelete
  99. Ever since Study I checked how. Poor Eric.

    ReplyDelete
  100. But they were the ones that capitalized off the sexy transformation more than any other group, the 'transition to sexy' trend became VERY noticeable because of them, the whole 180 change type deal.

    ReplyDelete
  101. The only people to blame is their management

    ReplyDelete
  102. Not gonna lie, the song sounds good, but the MV teaser looks like total porn. You can literally see their asses, and I was just like O__O.
Its going too far even for a 19+ rated concept. They need to keep their limits.
I am not a fan of them, but I do feel bad that this is what they had to resort to.

I have seen the way kpop has progressed within the 7 years I have been following it, and I just smh each time I see one of these girl group teasers/concepts. Its getting worse and worse each comeback for these groups. Don't even bullshit me about double standards because guys don't show the areas they're supposed to cover. Ripping off their shirts or being shirtless is equivalent to the girls wearing crop tops and/or shorts... not underwear's and bras. Tsk. Jfc with some managements and companies these days.

This is why no group will be able to reach the level of success of some like SNSD, Big Bang, Super Junior and TVXQ.

    ReplyDelete
  103. http://www.esunshine.org/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/moreuno.gif

    ReplyDelete
  104. Uhm...I already the other screenshots and as much as I refuse to judge this concept, I can't help but feel uncomfortable looking at them T__T. I consider myself an open-minded person when it comes to things such as this, but what the company is trying to do and the path they chose to promote these girls would gain them two things--- 1. Hate 2. Utter disrespect.

I would still check the song out and would buy it if I find it good for more than just one listen since I won't be looking at the MV while jamming to music anyway. But knowing how obviously hated and judged girl groups are who go for provocative concepts, I do feel bad for Stellar members.

    ReplyDelete
  105. and i knew stellar because one of their members was in MBLAQ Idol Manager

    ReplyDelete
  106. The reason I was so fascinated by kpop was because of how different their culture was (which is why their music was so much more..... cleaner). 7 years following kpop and this issue just keeps on getting worse and worse. Hopefully the next generation of idols will take kpop back into the TVXQ, SNSD, SS501, Big Bang, Super Junior era.

    ReplyDelete
  107. They are trending #1 on Naver now, even higher than the gold medal olympian. You gotta admit this marketing skill worked.

  111. I have no clue... I don't think they'll be able to get by with outfits like that. No one has ever revealed that much before, not even Rania.

    ReplyDelete
  112. damn the song sounds good and i'm loving the beat, should have given them a better mv concept

    ReplyDelete
  113. But Girls Day didn't even do this kind of sexy. They did sexy yes, but it didn't look like porn, nor did they look like strippers. AOA in my own opinion was one of my favorite rookie girl groups because of how unique their concepts were (Elvis and Get Out). Then they came out with Miniskirt and sure, the song is catchy, but they lost their originality.

I just hope that this sexy trend will die out soon. Its really annoying seeing that this is what kpop has come to.

    ReplyDelete
  114. This is how girl groups nowadays have to get popularity. It's really sad that it's come to this. I really miss the 1st generation Idols.

    ReplyDelete
  115. yeah they will be called that at first but they will be noticed and soon they will have at least a small fandom (of mostly pervs but the impt thing is the $$$ cuz obviously the girls aren't getting paid yet

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  121. I said "MORE THAN ANY OTHER GROUP", not that no other group has.
Genie and So Hot were not sexy concepts. They might have been sexy but were not sexy concepts. Don't kid yourself. Adding onto that, WG and SNSD changed their concepts every comeback anyway. I'm talking more about groups with long term concepts.
Brown Eyed Girls I can agree with especially since they've used the sexy concept over a long period of time.

    ReplyDelete
  122. with all these groups doing sexy concepts I wonder what male idols think..lol

    ReplyDelete
  123. Interesting and good to know :o

    ReplyDelete
  124. Sexy concept has been boring after Miss A and Girls Day tbh. Thank god SNSD is coming back to bless us all with something fresh. Couldn't be a better time than now!

    ReplyDelete
  125. The sexualization of idols exists in Kpop since forever, the "Kpop" that lured you in is no different than this one.

    ReplyDelete
  126. this is why i had a problem with sexy concepts certain groups put out. they think their worth is only how much men view them as arousal objects. can you finally see how degrading this is?? while i'm happy some girl groups gained success, it's sad that it took these kind of concepts to do it.

with everything said, i feel bad that the'yre doing those dance moves wearing a leotard. all them wedgies ._.

    ReplyDelete
  127. What?!? Genie and So Hot were not sexy concepts?!?!
Genie was practically SNSD selling themselves out and So hot was about guys being sexually attracted to them because they were "so hot". Their lyrics are more sexual than GsD's expectation, female president and something combined.

    ReplyDelete
  128. 3. [+64, -2] I saw their music video and even as a woman myself, I thought it was dirty..
OMG! I just the music video and I agree with you. It was just to much they are so desperate for attention.

    ReplyDelete
  129. the sexy trend started (restarted cause it had been done by older groups already) with Sistar and Alone, their songs before that were more pop/dance and Alone is what got them recognition. It's why they've gotten better time slots in the end of year shows than any of the girl groups that debuted the same year they did (including girl's day)

    ReplyDelete
  130. Well concepts are going to be getting like this, even 'worse' some may said. Apparently concepts and gimmicks like these work for girl groups.

    ReplyDelete
  131. The song is catchy but MV and dance, outfit is....
    I cant stand it.

    ReplyDelete
  132. There's no way that dance doesn't get banned, this is the first time i felt shocked looking a kpop teaser.

    ReplyDelete
  133. lol I was wondering why this nugu group was so high up in the rankings on naver this morning....and isn't this the group that Shinhwa's Eric is producing?....I thought he was better than this......

    ReplyDelete
  134. there are many people in YT saying that it's double standards. and stop being stupid because it's okay to show skin -.-"

I WANT THE REAL KPOP BACK.
I liked kpop because of it's innocence.
Like the girls who wear mini skirt/dress, they give them a blanket to cover up in shows!
If i wanted to see provocative, I'll go back to a-pop thank you very much.
I miss the cute concept that wasn't disgusting like "tell me" & "gee". My only hope now is crayon pop *sighs*

  140. outfit and dance step is really ugly! OMG!

    ReplyDelete
  141. GsD is an example more from the fact they had like a complete 180 with their concepts before Expectation. Besides one track (Nothing Lasts Forever), all of their titles have been totally cutesy and bright. As soon as they released Expectation, their jump to popularity SPIKED. That's what we have to emphasize, yes, all groups have gradual rise to popularity (well I guess except those from Top 2/3), but GsD did jump much more than the others in their era.

    ReplyDelete
  142. go watch you who came from the stars. even her mother who likes money more than anything was so mad when they wanted her daughter to act adult scenes!

    ReplyDelete
  144. It seems like Stellar's company decided to play hard this time. They're mediaplaying this shit and K-sones are pissed because the journalists are comparing them to SNSD (which is obvious mediaplay from Stellar's side)

  145. do you believe what rainbow said? lol idols don't get to see their parents only once a year.

a bit porno as its rated 19+ 9maybe just me) but the song also a bit boring for me....

  147. I know.. I came into kpop because I thought they're cute, awesome, sexy on their own ways, sweet lyrics, dreamy-looking idols, and something that I could actually enjoy without something sexuals involved. But now they popped that bubble just like that. What a sad reality...

  148. Upvote for Crayon Pop.

    ReplyDelete
  149. no it was tbh
the sexy was there but it wasn't as reviling! BEG & SNSD were the sexy. but i didn't see their butts in the mvs.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Look at this pic, I was like, damn!!!

    ReplyDelete
  151. pure exploitation of female bodies.
and stop fucking blaming the girls (slut shaming them/comparing them to prostitutes), you think it was their decision? no. its those men in the company who think this is what the "public" want.
    ugh

    ReplyDelete
  152. LOL it's only going to become more 'provocative'.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I dont have any problem with that dance though. It looks similar to expectation. But whoah. I finally understand the power of clothing.

    ReplyDelete
  154. but gary's mv was okay? lol at this blatant double standard

  156. that's a lot of work to get only one pic though when the internet is full of accessible porn e__e

  157. the last girl's so skinny it scares me.. she literally is just skin and bone...

    ReplyDelete
  158. Oh, I thought it was literally a book full of nude pics of them.

  159. If I remember correctly, Gary received his own share of criticism for the "Shower Later" MV...and a ban from music shows.

  160. the strippers!

    ReplyDelete
  161. Then you've obviously never been there.. Even Moon Hee Joon once said (I sum this up) "Back in my days, there are still a strict rules about ripping the shirt or showing abs on stage". Yes, they might wearing shorts or showing some sexy dance but not in "come on baby, you give me money, I'll give you my butt" ways. So desperate to be known duh.

    ReplyDelete
  162. Excuse you, but they were all sexy and it was just as reviling from WG to DBSK, even ballad groups like CSJH or Seeya used to wear micro-skirts.

    ReplyDelete
  163. Im not shocked by the dance, like you said is the clothes i think it would be better if they were wearing shorts.

    ReplyDelete
  164. I guess it will. Even Wassup's "twerking" part of the dance did not reach the stage. I think Stellar's company pretty much know that the girls won't be able to perform that choreo on public broadcast, but it would still definitely get attention.

    ReplyDelete
  165. And how do you know this...? It's not, but it's hypocritical to bag on them for this concept, then turn around praising them when the MV releases or when another group does it.

    ReplyDelete
  166. this should get banned.

    ReplyDelete
  167. Guys........the video is out ( ̄ω ̄;)!!

  168. That's what I thought at first.

    ReplyDelete
  169. I have been in Kpop since late 2007 so i know what i'm talking about. Kpop have always done pandering concepts.

    ReplyDelete
  170. soo did we see the same teaser? 'cause i don't think it's that scandalous~ i mean with netizen reactiong i was really expecting to see something really rated but it's basically them dancing in leotards (that should be banned god they're hideous!) i guess the full mv is real 19+? anyways it it sad to see how low companies have fall~ (i mean with the concepts, not the 'likes' thing)

    ReplyDelete
  171. seriously what happened with girlgroups nowadays?????????????????????????????????????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  172. KPOP didn't start in 2007, bruh.

    ReplyDelete
  173. seriously what happened with girlgroups nowadays ??????????????????????????????????????????????

    ReplyDelete
  174. Song was good, choreography was crap and they have no tits or ass.

    ReplyDelete
  175. I'm sorry, but who ever thought that butt rubbing move is sexy, must reconsider his/her standards. I can't believe that a MV is distracting the viewer from a rather decent song.

    ReplyDelete
  176. When will those company learn that being sexy isn't just about stripping and doing suggestive dance move ?
To me, it's a desperate move by the company and I pity these girls.

    ReplyDelete
  177. Yes, you said they've always done those concepts.

    ReplyDelete
  178. Sexy concepts have been done and redone over the years, some were even at the same level if not worse than the current trend. BUT there is a lot of difference in the execution, the packaging, and how these concepts are being promoted. "So Hot" and "Genie" might fall under sexy but compared to how "Something" and "Cha Cha" are presented, "So Hot" and "Genie" are tame (not that Genie did not receive its own share of flack for the leg exposure). On the other hand, "Something" is tamer compared to Stellar's.

SNSD's "Genie", "Run Devil Run"; Sistar's "Alone" and "Give It to Me; Girls' Day's "Female President" and "Something; Nine Muses' "Wild" etc. all have the SEXY stamped over them. But you can't deny that the interpretation and presentation are different. For example, Sistar's "Alone" and Girls' Day's "Something" are both sexy concept, but I can definitely say that Sistar will get the favor due to how they are presented, promoted, and how they pulled it off.

  179. After Gains Fxxk You release and now this... I'm almost afraid that it can't get any worse. I can't even imagine what could be worse than this.

I really hate how things are now. If you compare kpop now to kpop 5-7 years ago... You'll seriously realize how much better the older groups are/were.

    ReplyDelete
  180. Same. And here I thought SNSDs Run Devil Run, KARAs Mr, and 4Minutes HUH, was as sexy as it was gonna get.
