Article: 'Pretty Man' finale, how did Jang Geun Suk become the 'icon of failure'

1. [+468, -9] Like the article says, Jang Geun Suk has been limiting himself to one genre since "You're Handsome". Of course he gets low viewer ratings when he only picks teen genres. Most actors worry over being stuck to one image and try to vary the types of dramas they pick but I guess Jang Geun Suk likes the pretty boy act ㅋㅋ

2. [+423, -22] I remember they were talking about Im Siwan on 'War of Words' and Kim Gura praised him saying it's good for a young kid like him to be trying this and that and broadening his experience with different roles... Jang Geun Suk doesn't seem to want to do the same.

3. [+390, -22] The icon of failure ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

4. [+39, -3] I understand that he's popular overseas but Korean men don't really like Jang Geun Suk's type... even the people around me aren't into him and only talk about his celebrity disease if they're talking about him at all.

5. [+35, -2] Jang Geun Suk really is pushing his image towards the pretty boy type. All of his roles are about being liked... he needs to switch it up a bit. I feel like he's getting too comfortable with himself and only acting out of obligation to the public/out of fear of being forgotten.

6. [+32, -1] Way to kill him twice, journalist ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

7. [+26, -1] The drama was clearly produced for Japanese viewers, not Korean --;

8. [+24, -2] A shame because he's handsome and a good actor but he doesn't give me anything that makes me want to watch him...
