1. [+1,649, -21] At least with the song plagiarism, I tried to give Primary the benefit of the doubt with the genre being similar but.... he can't even deny this ㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+1,516, -33] Is Primary Caro Emerald's sasaeng fan?

3. [+1,155, -36] Plagiamary

4. [+160, -3] What an absolute criminal... This is hardcore proof. What a disappointment.

5. [+150, -4] Just how bad is this guy?...

6. [+139, -1] I can't believe he actually thought that in this day and age, he'd never get caught...

7. [+135, -1] At least he stuck to copying one artist for a consistent style ㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+128, -5] I thought Primary was a genius... but he was just a copy machine.

  2. Omg.......I love primary. Everything was getting receptive but I loved Primary's creativity this is really disappointing. Sigh.

    ReplyDelete
  3. does he direct his own videos?

    ReplyDelete
  4. i'm just thinkinh why?? ://
it's so (too) obvious, i mean, you can't be that dumb to copy like everything

    ReplyDelete
  5. lmao oh lord. he dug himself a hole deeper than he anticipated

    ReplyDelete
  6. Oh? Yikes. I don't see him recovering from this now.

    ReplyDelete
  7. 8. [+128, -5] I thought Primary was a genius... but he was just a copy machine.

    Pretty much....lol.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Wow. It keeps getting worse a and worse for him

    ReplyDelete
  9. Lol this is so sad. He's done now. Oh well, at least I can thank him for introducing me to Zion T

Oh. And I really, really liked his stuff too :/

  13. Smh. So disappointed :/

    ReplyDelete
  14. Lol not only the MV but a song from Caro Emerald as well lol

    ReplyDelete
  15. What was he thinking tho...? Sooner or later ppl would've found out. SMH.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Well shit he must be a hardcore Caro Emerald fanboy

    ReplyDelete
  17. i don't get it... he didn't even try to make it any different. did he think no one would notice if he keeps on copying the same artist over and over? this is disappointing :(

    He need time to reflect..

  19. [+1,155, -36] Plagiamary

Is this going to catch up?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Did they even apologize to Carol Emerald/David Schreurs, or just to the netizens and IC?

    ReplyDelete

Primary the benefit of the doubt with the genre being similar but.... he
    can't even deny this ㅋㅋㅋ
No, you never gave him the benefit of a doubt.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well.. this is.. Anyway I really enjoyed Primary and the Messengers but I knew something was up when I was watching a music show and 2 singers sang back-to-back and I could tell they're songs written by Primary (and turned out to be true). He needs time off.

    ReplyDelete
  23. [+135, -1] At least he stuck to copying one artist for a consistent style ㅋㅋㅋ

    LOLOLOL

    ReplyDelete
  24. I can't believe I supported him since the start, huge disappointment. why?

    ReplyDelete
  25. WOW!!!! even that?...what with him??

    ReplyDelete
  26. lol blatant copying. Didn't even try to be subtle about it. Copied everything.

    ReplyDelete
  27. if you stare at it for a long time it looks like polygamy

    ReplyDelete
  28. He built his entire career over ripping Caro Emeral..
Pity he is actually talented as a composer/producer.

    ReplyDelete
  29. do you know that netizen personally?

    ReplyDelete
  30. I love Primary, but my disappointment is getting bigger each day

    ReplyDelete
  31. If he actually wanted to get away with plagiarism why didn't he only copy the song or vice versa so neitzens couldn't know for sure? seriously primary way to make it obvious, lol.

    ReplyDelete
  32. this is the internet, nobody knows anybody.................you could be serial killer and I wouldn't know :/

    ReplyDelete
  33. ultimate reflecting time

its a shame because he was doing so well!

    ReplyDelete
  34. how do you give him the doubt about the song though.

like I got C was a combination of songs, but his other 2 songs were 100% EXACT copies of Emerald songs, from melody to arrangement to syllables in the lyrics he tried to match.

P.S. Dynamic Duo also has 14 songs he plagiarized. Right now I'm just praying to god Zion T. is not a douche, but I've lost hope.

    ReplyDelete
  35. "Pity he is actually talented as a composer/producer."

I was a big fan of primary before this whole mess but ironically we don't really know if your statement is true anymore :P

    ReplyDelete
  36. I don't get it. Why do that? THey really think nobody will notice or something? o_o

    ReplyDelete
  37. I'm interested to see the excuse.

    ReplyDelete
  38. He thought he would get away since he plagiarized someone that's not really internationally famous.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Caro Emerald's producer even acknowledge his skills by stating that even though he did plagiarize their song, the way he re-produced them shows that he has a lot of talent as a great producer.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Lol even if it's someone not famous, the risk to get caught is really high. With youtube and such.

    ReplyDelete
  41. He's finished. Literally.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Just when I start to enjoy his music and all such issues are up.

    ReplyDelete
  43. 6. [+139, -1] I can't believe he actually thought that in this day and age, he'd never get caught...

    ^this

    ReplyDelete
  44. I'm an i-net and I'm proud that I DIDN'T give him the benefit of the doubt because it's plagiarism. Plagiarism SHOULDN'T be given the benefit of the doubt. You have no idea how many times I go to my college classes and every single one of them emphasize do NOT plagiarize your work. Do you wanna know the consequence? an f in the class and you get kicked out of college. They don't care if this is your first time plagiarizing; Plagiarism is plagiarism regardless.

And as for someone that practice in the art scene (painting/photography/music producing), everyone in that industry knows how it sucks for someone to plagiarize off of your work. Primary is a producer, so he doesn't deserve any pity because he knows better. If someone had plagiarized off of him, he'd be taking them to court by now.

    ReplyDelete
  45. LMAO PRIMARY!
    This dude is something else.......
Still love that song tho... LIKE A MONKEY lol
I don't think this will change anything since he'll still be able to sell music.
People will still work with him since the person he plagiarized from is in another continent...
People would kill him if he plagiarized from some artist in Korea. lmao.

WE CAN ALL AGREE THAT SIMON D WAS SO FINE IN THE MV

    ReplyDelete
  46. Dynamic Duo's first album was gold.... most things after that is shit.
I don't think Zion T is a douche.... He is still new so yeah..

    ReplyDelete
  47. that sucks...also from that picture on the bottom it looks like he copied LMFAO's shuffle bot too

    ReplyDelete
  48. Plagiamary

Knets never fail to impress me with their creativity.. xDDD

    ReplyDelete
  49. I really dont think so, artist will not want to work witht him and their name be atached to primary, people will hate him more and more, he should contact the artist apologize, and may be work things out, till now he have not reply the tweets from the producer....

    ReplyDelete
  50. Umm no.

Even Infinity Challenge has stop selling their concert CDs due to his plagiarism.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Oh yes.. I REALLY hope that Zion.T didn't copy anything.. ;A; That would be a REALLY HUGE disappointment.. :(

    ReplyDelete
  52. I'm not in support of primary in any way, I just wanted to point out the fact that no one gave him the benefit of the doubt especially after he came out to apologise.

    ReplyDelete
  53. All I feel right now is disappointment. :/

    ReplyDelete
  54. He still have not apologize to the artist, and is avoiding replying to the producer.

    ReplyDelete
  55. "under suspicion" lol

    ReplyDelete
  56. 2. [+1,516, -33] Is Primary Caro Emerald's sasaeng fan?

    DEAD

    ReplyDelete
  57. [+135, -1] At least he stuck to copying one artist for a consistent style ㅋㅋㅋ

    This !!

    ReplyDelete
  58. I know that they stopped selling his stuff... ..
    I meant underground work.

one thing.. IC was giving the money to charity.. If they weren't giving to charity do you think they would stop selling it?

    ReplyDelete
  59. Plagiarism should be given the benefit of the doubt like every other crime... especially in the art world, where taking inspiration from others work is an important part of art creation. And in the music world sampling, etc. can make amazing art. This is def. plagiarism but to say you're proud to not give people benefit of the doubt when accused of plagiarism is dumb.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm pretty sure he will apologize.. I'm saying that people will still work with him.
    Underground-wise....

    ReplyDelete
  61. That's a Primary signature though, he wears that box all the time. He's been wearing it since 2006. Shuffle bot made it's first appearance in 2010.

    ReplyDelete
  62. omg which DD songs?

    ReplyDelete
  63. Question to you all...
If the money IC made didn't go to charity.... Do you think that they would stop selling it? or continue selling it regardless of plagiarized song?

    ReplyDelete
  64. Oh...I'm not familiar with him sorry :P

    ReplyDelete
  65. Umm hell yeah!!! It doesn't matter if it's going to charity or not, plagiarism is still plagiarism.

Besides, that's even worse to stop selling CDs that was going to charity. That's why k-netz were angry and blamed him for that money not going to people in need and how he should give some of his own money to charities.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Yes..
I agree the fact that they will stop selling because of the charity... but I have feeling that they would still selling it if it didn't go to charity.... I mean Caro Emerald is not well known there..
I know where you're coming from..

    ReplyDelete
  67. damn what's up with Korea copying mvs

    ReplyDelete
  68. I have his Step Under The Metro album and even though songs sound bland compared to the ones accused of plagiarism, they are great songs nevertheless.

But songs like Happy Ending are tremendously great since they are ripped off from great jazz composers.

I laughed more than I should have.

I laughed a lot reading this lol

Like did he film the music video or...?

I didn't see/listen this yet, but there are a lot of songs.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I'm a fan of his other work but both song and MV from the same artist?
    *facepalm*

  75. here is another link. http://blog.naver.com/foruemperor?Redirect=Log&logNo=120201535076

    ReplyDelete
  76. I'm so disappointed.

    ReplyDelete
  77. It doesn't matter, he won't get the hate he deserves for doing this because of who he is. lol

    ReplyDelete
  78. Thanks! Damn, Amoeba must be cursing themselves for allowing Primary to go on IC, without it this would have all been swept under the rug.

    ReplyDelete
  79. damn i really jamming gobaek :'(

    ReplyDelete
  80. Why do I have a feeling this is the tip of the iceberg.....

'Criminal investigator netizens are go!' (said like the Thunderbirds)

    ReplyDelete
  81. taxi driver was gold to me...but not anymore.. there's two song accused already

    ReplyDelete
  82. whaaaaaaaaaaaat? Taxi Driver... really? what songs?

    ReplyDelete
  83. Primary can you stop this already?

    ReplyDelete
  84. primary, dynamic duo and amoeba culture seemed like a bunch of corrupted people. extremely disappointed of them.

    ReplyDelete
  85. oh dear.... Chul chek sounded familiar the first time I listen to it... but..
The song with Bobby Kim was my fav from the album
    T_______T

    ReplyDelete
  86. go back and insomnia........ extremely sad because they are my biggest jam out of all dd's songs.

    ReplyDelete
  87. It's all GD's fault

    ReplyDelete
  88. Superstar and Chul Chek (Naul's voice is just) are my fav DD songs...ever..
Their new album was so fucking disappointing.... I'm even surprised if that shit is plagiarized.
the good thing about it was Hyorin's voice. lol

    ReplyDelete
  89. meanwhile caro emerald is so cute

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1aGabbqQDM0

she still being humble, thanking primary and even made the primary's box lol

    ReplyDelete
  90. oh COMMON primary i felt sympathetic because it's a lot of pressure to make such a big piece for something as big as infinity challenge, even though ultimately it only lead to bad things for everyone and for charity but copying the music video too? i would be embarrassed as an artist and creator to do this. anyway it's too bad primary i liked your music

    ReplyDelete
  91. Seriously Primary? Your tarnishing your own name now. I would be embarrassed to even plagiarize ONCE let alone twice from the same group.

    ReplyDelete
  92. Damnnn, like I could've understood the sampling thing (though they really were quite similar) but, this is just...it's fairly apparent he must've been copying Caro Emerald.

    ReplyDelete
  93. Get that restraining order, Caro Emerald! But on a serious note, this situation is a shameful mess all around. That David guy was as nice as he possibly could be in such a situation, and Primary/Amoeba Culture still shitted on him (so much for tone policing...). If you're going to do something for charity, why steal something?!

    ReplyDelete
  94. I don't get it.
People who copy others and say on TV that it's their own work...are they not embarrassed? I couldn't look people in the face anymore...my family, friends, fans, people who respected me...
and seriously does he not have respect or love for his job? no one will take him serious anymore for his "real" work.

    ReplyDelete
  95. So is Troublemaker's new video also under suspicion of plagiarism or..??

    ReplyDelete
  96. omg this might be true. i don't really like their new album as well but at first i thought it was because i dont really dig the style they used on that album.
naul's voice is really a perfection now i think dd must be really thankful to had him as featured artist.

    ReplyDelete
  97. I loved that mv (and song). Didn't think the mv was plagiarized but this can not be a coincidence seeing as he also plagiarized her songs...

    ReplyDelete
  98. He needs some time to self-reflect.

    ReplyDelete
  99. amaya aguero monzonNovember 16, 2013 at 5:16 PM

oooow I was such a big fan of him why did you have o disappoint me T.T

    ReplyDelete
  100. Wow, that just despicable
    no shame at all

    ReplyDelete
  101. Well, at least we can say that the Knetz are more creative than Primary lol

    ReplyDelete
  102. 2. [+1,516, -33] Is Primary Caro Emerald's sasaeng fan? lol

but seriously, he will not be able to justify this.
he probably thought that koreans would not known Caro Emerald's music and that they will never discover it.
too bad, it's Internet time !

    ReplyDelete
  103. permanently ... lol this is wayyy too much plagiarism

    ReplyDelete
  104. so what you are trying to say is that this great show would tarnish their reputation and integrity, which they have built with blood and tears through the show's many years on air over a plagiarized album?? infinity challenge is not that kind of show...

    ReplyDelete
  105. i think IC already asked the selling of their cds to be stopped. I wonder what will happen to their charity now.

    ReplyDelete
  106. No shielding like Troublemaker because Primary isn't an idol.

    ReplyDelete
  107. Why does David have to be nice? Does it make any difference if he wasn't? He was plagiarized, he was plagiarized.

I don't know why people were all down on the guy whose dance was ripped off by Win Group B and everybody was all over him saying he's grubby, after money and so on, even though they admitted the dance was copied. What does it matter whether the person who was copied mentions compensation or not? The person was copied, he was copied. He's not doing the composition - dance, music - for charity.

People here focus on the irrelevant a lot of the time. They really are silly.

    ReplyDelete
  108. To be fair, if he didn't make I Got C he would've gotten away with these, because he has already.

    ReplyDelete
  109. BAP (2 songs plagiarized from Shinhwa)

    which ones?

    ReplyDelete
  110. some liar just can't resist to be in the spot light, in my country some fraud ended going to jail because they marrying a celebrities and appear on tv, off course all the people who got scammed by them, report them to the police when they see them on tv,

    ReplyDelete
  111. Even when the composer already showed the technical bits of why Dream Girl is different from Vuelve, some people still insist it's plagiarism? ㅋㅋ

And don't give that "it sounds similar so it's plagiarism" bullcrap, because if we go by that stupid logic than JYJ's In Heaven plagiarized Haru Haru as well.

    ReplyDelete
  112. I wonder if it would of made any difference if he just paid the guy...

    ReplyDelete
  113. God, I love Caro Emerald. At least the man has taste. But still not cool.

    ReplyDelete
  114. so his career was a fraud :( this is so disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  115. they wasnt from the uk. not all of them. most was from canada and not really known at all. they found out because fans contacted those artists and eventually things worked out

    ReplyDelete
  116. I tried convincing myself that Primary wasn't plagiarizing because I've loved so many of his works but I clearly have nothing to say anymore. I'm curious as to what his response to this new slew of evidence will be... it'd be wise to just be honest and make a straight and simple apology.

    ReplyDelete
  117. ..... Wow it's hard to deny the similarity... It's so obvious. Makes me wonder how many of his works are legit now.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Picasso once said "good artists copy, great artists steal." I'm not trying to defend anyone that plagiarises but there truly is no such thing as 'new' or 'original' in terms of creative content anymore, and people really shouldn't be so surprised about it.

    ReplyDelete
  119. 3. [+1,155, -36] Plagiamary

Oh crap, they have a name now. You know it's serious lol

    ReplyDelete
  120. Hide better next time. If there's ever a next time.

    ReplyDelete
  121. What's so great about Caro Emerald? Why are Korean composers plagiarizing her stuff? There was IU's Red Shoes and another song of hers, and now there's Primary, with the music and the music video. Never heard of Caro Emerald before this. Listened to her stuff. I don't really like it.

    ReplyDelete
  122. It was but no one really cares. Cube didn't say anything and neither did Rihanna or her company or the dude who made it. So it's not really a big deal

    ReplyDelete
  123. I actually loved primary. I suddenly feel all disappointed.

    ReplyDelete
  124. Excuse you, but nowhere in my post did I say he had to be nice, hence me mentioning "tone-policing", which is a phrase that criticizes the notion that you must be nice, patient, and understanding to assholes who do or say offensive things towards you. I'm making fun of those who say that people will be more understanding and apologetic if the offended party's words are "nice" and "helpful" and "patient". David was all those things, and he was still shitted on by Primary and AC, hence "so much for tone policing..."

    ReplyDelete
  125. It stung when I knew about the Primary thing.

I would break down and cry if Zion T was ever blamed about something like this.

    ReplyDelete
  126. I don't know much about producing or much about music theory, etc. but the way he used Caro Emerald's songs to create something out of it is pretty freaking impressive.

It would have been easier if he claimed a sampling. Using something to make something new does have merit.

    ReplyDelete
  127. Badman (we can get it on) and something else. I really don't see much similarities though. I'm gonna cautiously go ahead and say that maybe the public's too overprotective of their legendary group or aren't too fond of B.A.P because I really don't see much similarities. The chorus, a little but really? Was that really plagiarism? If it was that JYJ's In Heaven plagiarised Big Bang's Haru Haru. (I was so sad at that controversy esp since they're my two fandoms)

I mean, I don't know, but that's my personal opinion. I genuinely don't think they sound like one another, and if these two songs played separately I wouldn't think they were similar. Together, I'd say they're a bit similar. But I don't really know what constitutes as plagiarism so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

    ReplyDelete
  128. Picasso once said "good artists copy, great artists steal. So do lazy people with no ideas.

    ReplyDelete
  129. lol " wait a minute... something's fishy here, probably."

    ReplyDelete
  130. Omg are you in the same country as me?

    ReplyDelete
  131. Tell that to Steve Jobs who said himself in 1996 that "I am shameless of stealing good ideas."
where to ideas come from? They're influenced by other things. Ideas themselves are not some magically invented original concept that emerged out of thin air. Everyone has ideas; some are just commercially valuable and others aren't.

    ReplyDelete
  132. holy shit dd too? this shit is just disappointing.

    ReplyDelete
  133. The persistence is amazing. Why would anyone go that far knowing full well the existence of the internet and it's netizens? ...too bad kpop is not the only genre capable of plagiarism.

    ReplyDelete
  134. wait.what? wasn't this person under fire for plagiarizing this artist's songs and made a lame excuse and in the end admitted it? so he went thru all that trouble and went ahead to copy even the music video? I don't get this Primary person logic at all >_>

    ReplyDelete
  135. And you think I don't know that. If you are going to copy then cover up your tracks better and call in inspiration.

    ReplyDelete
  136. Shinee also sang 'Juliette'.I understand the rights were bought for this song:

    Jay Sean (originator)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlyrPV0ypEM

    corbin bleu deal with it

    ReplyDelete
  137. Now I am just waiting for someone to do a version of Jay Sean's 'City Girl'. If someone has not done it already have a listen:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkq3LnAVMl8

    ReplyDelete
  138. I used to hold this guy up so high, can't believe he ripped off so much. I lost all my respect for him. For someone who supported him and Amoeba Culture all the way, this is year is more than just disappointing. T^T

    ReplyDelete
  139. aah thanks for clarifying (:

    ReplyDelete
  140. That's my favorite MV from primary though... R.I.P all my respect to him

    ReplyDelete
  141. But.. did he direct and wrote the mv concept himself that he deserves all the blame? I mean... there are directors/writer for artist's music video right? And even if they discuss about mv concept with the artist, not all people know caro emerald. Heck, even I just heard of this Primary guy (not Kmusic follower)

    ReplyDelete
  142. I don't really know why you're replying to me if you know it all then? I'm unable to ascertain anything from this dialogue other than the obvious which is your conceited tone towards my comment. Get back to me when you actually want to make a point about my comment... otherwise have a nice day and bye

    ReplyDelete
  143. I suppose that one way of not coming up with a better response.

    ReplyDelete
  144. Okay, I see. I didn't actually direct my post to you. You brought up being nice which a lot of people were talking about on another netizenbuzz article about this composer, and I was referring to that issue in general.

    ReplyDelete
  145. the man initial must be VP.

    ReplyDelete
  146. So, have this guy done his military service?
Seems to be a good time to enlist.

    ReplyDelete
  147. so true. hiphop should have never gone mainstream, it was better underground. now all their dirty laundry will be aired hahhaha

    ReplyDelete
  148. To think I was a major fan of you, Primary! Now, I guess me stanning will all transfer to Caro Emerald.

    ReplyDelete
  149. He must be at 29 his age...

    ReplyDelete
