Hara and Jiyoung's outburst of tears on 'Radio Star' disturb viewers

Article: 'Radio Star' Goo Hara cries at dating-idol teasing "It really makes me mad"

Source: OSEN via Nate [1] [2]

1. [+1,304, -85] The way Han Seungyeon got mad in that situation as well pissed me off even more....

2. [+1,269, -96] Kyuhyun obviously looked so taken aback, his facial expression got all hardened..ㅡ.,ㅡ Did she seriously throw a water bottle in front of so many huge seniors? What's the point of even coming out on the show if she's going to act like that? It's not like she doesn't know what the show's about

3. [+859, -53] This is the first time I changed the channel while watching Radio Star. I never really cared for KARA or hated on them in particular but their attitude was so ridiculous. I could feel the MCs in shock and Kyuhyun's anger. Park Jin Young was there as well, so many industry seniors, and they dare to act with such disrespect? They need to be taught immediately, Goo Hara and Han Seungyeon especially. They're so disrespectful.

4. [+521, -25] Wow... I'm not a Suju or KARA fan and maybe it's just because I'm old now.. but seeing Park Jin Young with his experience and stature acting humble on a variety show like this and laughing off any personal attacks made by the MCs made me seriously question who Goo Hara thought she was making the MCs feel uncomfortable and throwing a water bottle like that. Kyuhyun is her senior.

5. [+467, -28] I really am not the type to leave comments like this.. but I'm just too angry. Exactly who do Goo Hara and Han Seungyeon think they are to go around acting like that? At a place with seniors like Park Jinyoung, they sit around screaming and crying at their own mistakes, accusing Kyuhyun of not being able to be proud of his own past. And why is Goo Hara's face so unnatural? Her eyes are all swollen and it's obvious she got something done with her lips... If Goo Hara doesn't want to be under controversy for dating, then please act with pride yourself.

6. [+109, -3] Made me realize what a humble person Park Jin Young is today

7. [+390, -16] What happened to Goo Hara? From her personality to her face... and it was ridiculous how Han Seungyeon took her side while she was crying. I could also notice the girls making fun of the MCs throughout the show. It's ridiculous that such a disrespectful girl like that earns $600,000 per CF. Empty headed with no talent whatsoever as a singer. And why was Kang Jiyoung even crying? Seems like these girls think they're worth sh*t just for becoming a bit popular. Park Jin Young was there as well, who do they think they are?

8. [+389, -17] Another episode since Krystal's where I felt uncomfortable watching a TV show ㅋㅋㅋ Kids these days, seriously ㅋㅋㅋ Goo Hara, I heard you bought a million dollar building. If you made that much money without having any talents whatsoever, you can handle things like this without crying.

1. [+7,668, -377] I was so taken aback while watching TV... She cried and ruined the atmosphere over something that wasn't even a big deal

2. [+6,997, -272] Yup, this girl's a mess.. she thinks crying will shield her from disses.

3. [+6,264, -258] Obviously something's up for her to be crying like that. Kyuhyun and the other MCs looked so awkward. And who does Han Seungyeon think she is butting in like that? Such a mess

4. [+3,146, -94] An awesome display of broadcast attitude ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Forget the crying, why did she even throw the water bottle?

5. [+2,921, -92] Why agree to the show if you're going to sit there and cry. Nobody even made a big deal out of it and she's squeezing out tears.

6. [+2,826, -82] Never come out on TV. I don't want to see your face ever again. You think you're a princess? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ So disrespectful

7. [+2,738, -75] It was hilarious how hard Han Seungyeon took it ㅋㅋㅋ

8. [+2,666, -67] Crying won't make your dating controversy go away. And you obviously fully know that Radio Star is a diss program so what did you think would happen if you cried? Cry all you want, cry for 100 days, your controversy isn't going away.

Article: Kang Jiyoung's tears "I don't have aegyo but people keep making me do it"

Source: Newsen via Nate

1. [+753, -28] Never in my life have I seen someone cry for such ridiculous reasons. She did aegyo just fine in Japan when they never even asked her for it. Why do these girls think it's okay to make viewers uncomfortable watching them? Do they think that they're that big of a top star?

2. [+721, -25] What do Goo Hara, Jiyoung, and Seungyeon think they're doing? ㅋ Crying over being ordered to do aegyo, screaming at seniors, crying over being asked a question ㅋㅋ Do they think the viewers are idiots? Fu*k, KARA made me lose all interest in watching Radio Star today

3. [+643, -16] They should've prepared more.. I'm pretty sure they ran over these interview questions beforehand as well. If they want to receive top star treatment, they should stay in Japan ㅡㅡ I really don't leave comments on articles like this but they really crossed the line today. So disappointed in Hara and Jiyoung. I felt like I was sitting on a mat of needles while watching the episode. ㅡㅡ

  1. Omg, The most sad thing is when you are looking forward to eat something really really bad, and you drop it on the floor, its like having a mini heart-attack.
Last week I made a strawberry cheesecake, It looked so yummy, and I was all excited to eat it, but I had to place it in the fridge for it to settle, but my stupid brother kept rummaging in the fridge, and I heard something splash on the floor, I ran to the kitchen and saw the cake upside down on the ground.
I almost cried, and my bro was oh so smart commenting ''does the 3 sec rule still apply'' really bro, really?
lol this was off topic, but food is my life man

  2. Some interview (on SBS?) while they were promoting as N4. I can't remember the name of the program itself since it was just a quick 3-4 minute segment with them. They joke about their image a lot now, it probably also helps the fans deal with it too. For example at concerts in Japan Hyomin used to introduce herself as sexy & kawaii Hyomin now she refers to herself as sexy bancho. Bancho is Japanese slang for the leader of a group of female delinquents lol

  3. if you watch korean variety shows often enough, that sentence "if i reveal everything about you your career will be over" is often used. its no big deal. it was just a joke. kyuhyun didn't even reveal anything.

    ReplyDelete
  4. This makes me wonder, what kind of stuff Kyuhyun knows about her. There must be lots more sketchy "stuff" in the idol world compare to the public.
Honestly, why appear on RS when you know what kind of show this is, you know the mc will ask you about it, talk about it, and even joke about it like that episode where they kept on talking about Nichkhun's scandal.

    ReplyDelete
  5. I also blame the company, don't think I'm not doing it. I don't know what's the concept of bullying in Korea, but talking about things that make people unconfortable and keep doing it it's consider bullying. Bullying is not only hitting someone or giving insluts. There's a difference between joking and bullying and that was bullying. Specially with the fact that MCs can do jokes about the idols but idols can't recieves the same kind of jokes they do.

when i saw the comment saying they cried to get attention i thought - wtf they wouldn't get to this extent ,but then ..... yeah........ they could edit it out if it wasn't for attention

  7. I want to see Gyuri or some other Kara member spilling dirt on Heechul.

  8. If netizens didn't slut shame hara so damn much then I doubt she would be this emotional.

    ReplyDelete
  9. flee
hara had the right to cry though?? she's constantly being called a slut and being insulted for what? dating the same guy for 2 years? these comments get to you, dude. and on top of it, he humiliates her publicly like that. that was a dick move, no one can defend him on this. you don't make people cry for humor purposes, i don't give a fuck if he thinks he's mean and hilarious, he should've known that comment was hurtful as shit especially when she has to deal with these comments regularly from random people. he also threatened to end her career? the fuck kind of shitty comment was that and she didn't even throw the water bottle at him. so i don't see how she was being disrespectful. jiyoung's situation was different. i think she was just feeling uncomfortable as fuck in that show and after the whole hara thing she probably felt really terrible already so when they were pressuring her to do something she didn't want to/found humiliating, she just broke down. seungyeon slayed it though. i don't give a fuck. kyuhyun can say mean shit like that and get away with it and seungyeon says the exact same thing after he made her friend cry and she's disrespectful?? a fine example of people just being sexit and accepting male superiority naturally.

    ReplyDelete
  10. what did Seungyeon say? i saw the video but it just looked like she was trying to get the MCs to stop picking at this dating thing and the only way to get that through is to sound angry

  13. I agree with you about Radio Star.

When Shinhwa participated on the show the MCs divided them in the 3 successful group and the 3 unsuccesful group, and laughed at Dongwan because his musical was not too popular.

The show is supposed to make fun of people, for crying out loud!

The only MC who has really really crossed the line is Kim Gura, but that's not the case here.

  16. the fact that she took it from her lap and threw/slid it towards her sunbaes huge sunbaes in fact is really serious, i'm not a kara fan neitheram i an anti, she should have kept a better lid on her emotions, knowing the show she was coming on and the type of persons viewers are.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hara has reason to angry/crying but Jiyoung's case is just ridiculous..

    ReplyDelete
  18. but bullying is different ..he bullied HARA to shut up..if HARA don't shut up he will reveal and HARA's career is over..

    ReplyDelete
  19. omfg it's a fucking joke, watch the clip, it's really a joke. everyone was laughing about it and suddenly she got teary and it;s not like she's depressed bcs of the threat, even idiots know Kyuhyun wont spill them, they are close, even Kyuhyun himself was taken a back and said "eii I was just joking"

    ReplyDelete
  20. I wish if he would open his mouth and spell out all the secrets, it would be much more fun to watch. If she don't have the backbone to handle this then she should've not come on RS. Period!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Please stop using tears as a shield, that will only make you get more hate, when will they understand it? And Jiyoung............ I have no words for you -_-

    ReplyDelete
  22. well Heechul is only talented in talking bad about people and making fun of them.

  24. The fact that they called her a slut for dating is just sick....

    ReplyDelete
  25. So the problem for you is the show itself, right? MBC is a private channel, and even if it was a government channel, you don't live in Korea so you don't pay taxes for it. Sorry I don't want to be rude, but my point is: why do you care so much about the concept of that show to start with? And if you are a Kara fan (are you?), then you should send emails to their company and create a post on their daum cafe to show the disapproval of intl fans for sending the girls on that kind of show when it's not necessary. I understood you are blaming the company, but if you care that much about the girls, then action is better.

  26. i read a lot of comments giving kyuhyun's recognition for his position at radio star, saying something like 'i'm not interested in suju but kyuhyun is fun on radio star', why?

    ReplyDelete
  27. lmao that jiyoung thing is nothing
why she would cry for those thing

    ReplyDelete
  28. Radio star have embarrassed and borderline bullied guests from the very beginning. Dissing might not be particularly nice concept, but it's hardly unexpected for those who choose to join the spectacle. There was nothing different with the hosts in this episode, but there was defiantly something different with the guests.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Radio Star is scripted.
    It's scripted.
    Kyuhyun has a script.
He is directed to say certain things.
He has already mentioned that he sometimes feels bad about things he says on Radio Star but he is directed to make certain comments in a certain tone and he apologises to guests after recordings, sometimes even before hand as well.
What he said was not that bad it's also nothing that either has not been said on variety before, said on Radio Star, or said by Heechul. The "I could reveal things that would cause a scandal" comment is not that bad, neither was calling her "Dating-Dol"
Heechul is not and would not be tamer than Kyuhyun.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Honestly, I was curious so I watched the clip and it wasn't even bad.. they were still laughing about it, including Hara. A little bit of tears came out (which is not something you usually have control over) and it wasn't that big a deal. "If I opened my mouth you would be over" was a bit much but I think the entire thing is a non issue. See it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKK6d2ffqGc#t=111

    ReplyDelete
  31. Gonna be honest, I wish he'd leave RS. I liked him with Seyoon, I don't like Gura at all, and I'd much rather Kyuhyun stayed on Mama Mia and had time to do something else.

    ReplyDelete
  32. the "if I open my mouth, Hara-ssi will be over" comment ? did you actually watch the fckng clip ? Threaten to end her career ? what shit are you talking about ????? bcs it's so obvious he was joking and that harsh joke came out after Hara's water bottle slide. And no, dating dol doesnt mean slut, it means that Hara's known as an idol who publicly dating. I pity Hara and I think Netizens are too jugmental, but dont blame the MC for this. The main reason She's hated on the comments bcs she fucking threw her water bottle in front of all the seniors to Kyuhyun. Even Kyuhyun play along with the other MC and pretend to take the bottle and drink from it so the viewer doesnt get the wrong idea as her to be rude, and I tell you, Hara's stunt was extremely rude by Korean and even other Asian standard, doing that to someone's older in television was the root of Netizens hate

    ReplyDelete
  33. it's like everyone who watches this show is a bully. Seriously they egged her(hara) on until she got so frustrated she cried. She might not have been hurt by the comments but just angry that she couldn't express what she wanted to say or get them to move on from the subject.

Kyuhyun and Hara know each other they've known each other for a long time so her throwing a water bottle is his direction(really more of a slide) was more playful then rude. Just like how any group member of an idol group will playfully hit/tap another member.

Idols should be careful about where they throw stones, cause 50 more could be thrown right back. "First rule of fight club...don't talk about fight club. Second rule of fight club, don't talk about fight club." Idols don't talk about other peoples' relationships because it will only come back to bite them in the ass later on down the road.
Also who the fuck do these commentators and up voters think they are going after someone for having a relationship? Just cause you're a mouth breather that can't get a date don't hate on her. How is it "her mistake" for liking someone?

One day i just want an idol to say "You know what? Screw you for judging me. You judge us when we don't date. You judge us when we do. You call us sluts or players for simply dating more than one person in our lifetime. Saying we can't portray an emotion because we never experienced it and then crucifying us when we do."
i don't even care if i get down voted for this. i'm sure the mcs apologized to her off camera after, but still this show is just bullshit. They should have never gone on. Their company did a super shit job of protecting them. Only older people with less to lose should do this show. Obviously seniors bullying juniors is the norm and is expected and god forbid someone have a natural emotional reaction to being ganged up on about something that was probably hard on her. dating someone is not a crime nor is it morally wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  34. i think Hara has a bad image for netizen..
    why??
    Penthouse scandal
    Oppa & donsaeng relationship reasoning
or sunbae & hoobae relationship but it turn out to be in a relationship..
& you know k.netizen has very good memories!!( lol)
i agree that kyu cross the line but
her reaction is very disrespectful being a hoobae herself in front of many senior's.
. & that's why netizen reactions are so negative toward her,
if she just cried and not doing those throwing/slidding that bottle
& even raising her voice while standing infront of seniors..
The comments/reactions will be different towards her.
Because k.netizen remembered only or make emphasis how she acted disrespectful toward her seniors..
Considering in korea seniors & junior thing is a big deal.
. Specially also how they see MEN & women very differently.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I can try to understand why Hara would probably get mad or emotional... Although she shouldn't have thrown a water bottle... But Jiyoung's reason to cry was plain ridiculous. It's not like I'm saying this as an anti-fan... But crying because you're forced to aegyo? Really now.. >__>

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'm just saying...it looked like a throw to me. She didn't completely chuck it at him, but it did look like a throw.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Heechul would probably spill it himself before they even get a chance. He likes people knowing ALL the sides of him. Its part of thr reason why he is a one of a kind idol.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I don't understand why Hara came in the first place. It's a diss program, it's their thing to bring up scandals/embarassing stuffs/sensitive issues....ect. Hara obviously shouldn't have come when she knows that she has a lot to be dissed about. Her history is full. She could've handled things a lot more better as a proffesional.
I don't care about her dating experiences, but if she was to act like this on broadcast for not wanting to talk about it when others bring it up(at least just don't throw a bottle) don't even date or do a better job at hiding it like most of idols. Kyuhyun is just the same(it's not like he doesn't date anyone).
I laughed at those knetizen when reading the comments but when I watched the cut of the episode. I was really uncomfortable watching it. The MCs looked really awkward. like "wth?" . She should've expected it. huh....but again. I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHY IS IT THAT THEY CONSIDER DATING A SCANDAL o_o it's really nothing.

  39. jessica is dgaf yes.. people might think she sounds arrogant when she talks but it's her she's just the way she is.. she doesnt sugarcoat things nd doesnt hold grudge like soyoung and hyoyeon said

  40. I agree ........... I think she had a really hard time and hara is known for her variety skills.

TBH she was a victim and she was wrong too .

    ReplyDelete
  41. Exactly. I keep thinking back to Shinhwa's episode in 2012 where everyone joked about each other's scandals even though they were really major like Hyesung's gambling scandal and they even made jokes about Jin having issues with MBC despite Radio Star being an MBC show... It was such a fun episode tbh...

    ReplyDelete
  42. Did anyone watch this? Was it really as bad as they're making it out to be?

    ReplyDelete
  43. hara thinks she's some big star now, yelling and screaming, then crying for pity. get off the show. or is this a deliberate plan to ruin their rep since their contract with dsp expire soon and they want out.

    ReplyDelete
  44. People in the comments seemed more upset than Hara after this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKK6d2ffqGc

    ReplyDelete
  45. Well you forgot the part where it's his job as an MC to joke a bit harshly since it's the concept of the show to dig guest's dirt, while Seungyeon joking back will definitely mean that she got emotional and took an offense to it. Clearly her "so called joke "as you put it was a fight back when he's comment wasn't even meant for her ( am just saying) !

    ReplyDelete
  46. You'd like to see them try, you mean...

    ReplyDelete
  47. I totally agree with you.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I'm sorry, but why are people focusing on Jiyoung's stupidity right now rather than the fact that a female was basically publicly slut shamed? Do some of you have no regard or sympathy for the things that the girl is going through? She dates one guy in three years and is seen with another months after they had broken up and she gets called the "idol bus" by netizens and apparently by her own friend. And you guys want to talk about how Jiyoung cried?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I seriously dont understand how Hara & SY are to be blamed here, its sick that people r saying they are rude & all..what SY said afterwards them was true " you probably hear a lot of things but we hear things too" Hara shouldnt be the centre of their attack just bcause she dated an idol before & all the rumours concerning her dating life, its private whatthey are talking about & it should remain like that(plus Hara damn well deserve the privacy like any idol do) YES kara should have known better coming to RS but they have been there before & its clear that the mcs are crossing the line this time,a girl, heck, anyone has their own limits..anyone who bashes her are seriously heartless...

    ReplyDelete
  55. 1 - That was really immature & disrespectful of Hara.

2 - Jiyoung is crying over something really stupid, but I guess if it's so awful to do aegyo that she has to cry about it... then idk. Everyone has different sorts of triggers, maybe being forced to do aegyo is hers.

3 - Seungyeon looks cute with bangs.

  56. Just happy Gyuri wasn't involved in this mess.

    ReplyDelete
  57. She sorta threw her water bottle at Kyuhyun & he made the situation less severe looking by turning it into a joke. (He pretended to drink from it & the production team CG'ed sweatdrops so he didn't look as angry as he really was.)

But the fact that she did it out of anger is just... unacceptable. Even if she weren't an idol, you don't behave like an angry toddler just because the topic being discussed is uncomfortable for you.

    ReplyDelete
  58. If Gyuri was there, there wouldn't be any mess in first place

    ReplyDelete
  59. thats why I suggest you watch the clip first it's not really big a deal, Kyuhyun joked and everyone laugh but suddenly Hara shed tears ( real sudden ) even Kyuhyun and other MCs didnt realize she was shedding tears until someone pointed out. Kyuhyun and KARA are close, thats also maybe why Hara has the audacity to slide her bottle to him, and bcs of that Kyuhyun also joked around like that. The problem is Hara is so sensitive. Dont get fool by netizens hate on Hara or international fans hate on Kyuhyun, ppl keep saying the word "attack" "diss" "threaten" and I was like, what ? lol.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Well if she throws a water bottle over a simple question, I wouldn't even be surprised if they did.

    ReplyDelete
  61. Radio Star is a show that puts their guests in the hot seat. That's sort of the point. You should've already realized this with Kim Gura & Kyuhyun being hosts on the show...

  62. from marie claire magazine jungsis interview

"If you’re a fan, you probably know already. Jessica and Krystal aren’t simply pretty, sweet, and cheerful girls. Even while talking about sushi or cupcakes, when work begins, they focus to the point where it’s scary, they say what they need to say, and they look straight at your eyes when talking to you. They remind me of the cheerful girls with strong egos in Jane Austen’s novels.

Jessica: Because I’m the type who expresses my opinions honestly, my first impression seems to be taken sharply. I’ve caused misunderstandings a lot, but I don’t try to change myself because of that. Isn’t being honest better than being fake? I just think they’ll get around to understanding my honesty some day.
Krystal: Guys don’t really like me. Guys like girls that are kind and innocent. I used to be innocent (laughs). Now I’m not. Plus, it’s not something I want.

but anyway i think hyosoosic fit talk show because they are so honest everytime they were in varshow
hyosic even revealed that snsd almost watched porn/r-rated movie when they were in america lool

  64. RIP in peace Kara's career

    ReplyDelete
  65. Hey, she has a right to be angry. Hara can feel or think however she wants as far as the topic of idol dating goes.

But she crossed a line when she threw her water bottle at Kyuhyun just because she was angry. Reasonable adults should be able to voice their opinons & clearly explain their stance (which is the purpose of Radio Star to begin with). If you're so pissed that you act like a fucking baby & throw shit, it's disrespectful & immature. The situation is made even worse by the fact that it's a television show.

    This isn't Maury.

    ReplyDelete
  66. Typical Kpop/Korea, blame the girls, not the men involved. All these shows have a pre-run where they discuss what will be talked about on the show. Based on KARA's reaction, it seems the MCs went off script in an attempt to be funny and instead hit a raw spot that Hara wasn't cool about joking awith.

In that case, the fault lies with the MC who ambushed her on TV. Could she have handled it better, yes. But putting all the blame on her and using seniority as an excuse for bad behavior, unnecessary meanness, bullying, unprofessionalism or whatever you choose to call it, just reeks of fangirl bullshit and an ode to the "Oppa Didn't Mean It" Kpop mantra.

    ReplyDelete
  67. don't say things like DSP made them to go..no one could..even SM can't forced someone to go on show if they don't want to..specially a big artist like Hara

    ReplyDelete
  68. You have to remember that everyone is different. Some people don't like KARA, some are fans, and others don't care. But honestly, there are rules and standards to live and work by, in every industry. It's a compromise; you gain some (popularity, money to support yourself) and you lose some (privacy). Of course, she has the right to have emotions and relationships; she's human. But other people also have to right to react to it. Entertainment is based on other people's reactions, and you have to take and learn from it. You really have to find the balance, when to speak up or shut up.

Honestly, I think she overreacted and made the show feel weird. She's had a lot of scandals during and before debut involving relationships, so of course, they're going to judge her. That's their culture/belief/whatever...we can't judge them using our standards. Is some of it outright bullying, maybe, but you got to learn how to both fight back and back down in this industry.

    ReplyDelete
  69. she cant handle the banter

they are working..and I dont see a good-attitude of a person who is working for their life

    ReplyDelete
  71. I thought kyuhun said something about he can date Hara too (I don't understand korean btw, I just thought). Therefore I agree if Hara crying because of that. But, about spilling personal life, I think I saw some funny variety show where one person threatening to reveal other's personal life, and it will be the end of their career. Most of them just making fun of it, like saying, "OMG, okay stop please" or "if you reveal mine, then I reveal yours". But yes, Hara was definitely already angry about the dating topic.

    ReplyDelete
  72. if people dont want relationships talked about then they should stay single. hara has been in the business long enough to know that anything controversial will be talked about especially on a program like radio star.

sidenote: i must say though, sm's power is amazing.

from my knowledge, jonghyun's relationship was never talked about on any program

    ReplyDelete
  73. Yes,it was immature,n i agree with that, but having seeing the scene again it wasnt really throwing at kyuhyun,it pretty much seemed like the bottle was already in her hand & she looked like she wanted to bang the table n the bottle flew to kyuhyun,if im wrong then i agree it was disrespectful of her,but blaming her for crying on the show is taking it too far,she has dealt a lot & pushing her to the limit isnt making the show funnier

    ReplyDelete
  74. even after the translation, I still don't understand the reason of her cries.

    ReplyDelete
  75. You have to be.prepared about your image when entering this show and let your fans know about what they want to know. If you want to be an idol- then you have an IMAGE to uphold. GODD amateurs!

    ReplyDelete
  76. OK, wish you good luck with that. I hope for the girls this kind of incident won't happen again coz I believe they are nice girls who don't deserve to be sad.

    ReplyDelete
  77. lol omg i haven't watched the show but it's probably the editors fault kara looked bad, they record for hours but they only air a few segments, i don't think hara will just throw water out of nothing, kyuhyun probably said something else that bothered her more but it got edited out.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Radio star is a strong/harsh program as they say things up-front. People should expect the worse when they go there. If you can't handle it then don't go there. For anyone to come on there and then act all sensitive, put on the waterwork and throw a tantrum is ridiculous. i can only guess that its a pathetic attempt to gain attention and sympathy votes.

    ReplyDelete
  79. I don't know how that could be confusing when you assume I meant that Kara is managed by SM

    ReplyDelete
  80. The point is that she did it out of anger. Whether she slid or threw the fucking thing doesn't matter. She resorted to a physical form of expression her anger instead of acting like an adult & clearly explaining--with words--what is pissing her off.

    ReplyDelete
  81. HyunseungxJunhyungxJayPSeptember 4, 2013 at 3:43 PM

You must have never watched Radio Star a day in your life. Watch it.

    ReplyDelete
  82. or
It's the same mistake that SM made

    ReplyDelete
  83. THE POINT OF RADIO STAR IS TO DISS THEIR GUESTS AND PUT THEM IN THE HOT SEAT. WHY DO YOU THINK KIM GURA IS A HOST ON THE SHOW OMFG ARE YOU NEW OR JUST STUPID.

    ReplyDelete
  84. Omg thissss. I don't understnad these comments. All complaining about how Hara thinks so highly of herself and showed no respect at all, while the guys calling her dating-idol (after officially dating only one guy) is all ok part of the show..

    ReplyDelete
  85. On Naver, it got two messages with more than 10000 thumbs up....

    ReplyDelete
  86. please get your fact straight, the first one who mentioned about dating is Hara itself. Yoon Jong Shin asked "what kinda questions you're scared of ?" Hara answered " about dating" then she talked about dating. So the one who brought dating stuff wasnt Kyuhyun.
Kyuhyun didnt talk much about dating, and when he followed along the jokes of other mcs, Hara retaliate ( slide the bottle, kinda talk back ) so no, thats how the water bottle incident, but everyone shrug it off, then He only joke, if "I talk, Hara will be over" which is not a new term in variety, it only implied that Kyuhyun is close with Hara, everyone was laughing about it, but few tears escapet Hara's eyes and seriously, the MC were surprised, even JYP was seem to be awkward.

    ReplyDelete
  87. But cases of dui and gambling are a lot different than calling someone dating idol after dating one guy.. + Hara actually laughed it off too, you can't really stop tears when they are there..

    ReplyDelete
  88. I find it really interesting how international netizens who probably don't even understand Korean or watch Radio Star are like trying to blame it all on Kyuhyun on allkpop... whereas K-netizens are going ??? with Hara's behaviour... sigh was always wondering when Kyuhyun was going to get hit for something he said on Radio Star... it IS a "diss program" after all...........

    ReplyDelete
  89. I'd like to note that Eric seems to like doing aegyo tho lol

    ReplyDelete
  90. Wow, so mature going straight to insults, shows the level of your thinking. You must be a pressed fangirl, so obviously you lack all rationality and the capability to be civil and cordial. Won't even bother wasting time on you, you are an embarrassment to yourself, grow up why don't you.

    ReplyDelete
  91. that's why it's ridiculous, this place got more rational response, well there are still some ignorant ppl who blame Kyuhyun for it. Idgi, you can defend Hara and its okay, but dont attack Kyuhyun bcs there's nothing to blame. He did this from week to week for 2 years, and suddenly ppl talk about sadistic shows/ or him being evil and mean, like i just got get it, its obviously a joke, it's a harsh joke ? yes, but thats the concept of the show, it has been for years even before Kyuhyun joined. People need to calm the fuck down

    ReplyDelete
  92. wow that's crazy, they probably won't be invited on that show anymore...omg, she's such a drama queen...jiyoung doesn't even...I just can't

    ReplyDelete
  93. what did it say? mind translating it

    ReplyDelete
  94. I don't care if the program is a harsh, roast type program. If the MC goes off script, the guest has a right to react. If he did indeed go off script, then they are both at fault and I deplore the one side blaming that is currently going on.

    ReplyDelete
  95. Please stop over-reacting. This is not bullying. Do you really think Kyuhyun would have revealed her dirtiest, darkest secrets on a scripted show that was pre-recorded?

Do you really think the producers or DSP would have allowed anything of that sort to air? REALLY?

    ReplyDelete
  96. lool, you seem so sure with yourself yet your argument is full of ignorance..

    ReplyDelete
  97. finally, someone with good logical comprehension of basic logic. I'm so sick with the level of ignorance..

    ReplyDelete
  98. And? DSP didn't program Hara's reactions second-by-second. The questions are pre-scripted and it's up to her on how to respond.

    ReplyDelete
  99. I would have cried too if I was Goo Hara... They kept on picking on her about her "scandal" and basically saying she gets around. Even though they were doing it in a teasing way, it's disrespectful when she already gets all this hate from the public, but for MCs to poke fun at her for it? It just wasn't cool. Sure, throwing the water bottle might have been a tad overboard since he is her senior, but the crying isn't at all. Being criticized in front of others and a camera crew hurts and Seungyeon was just trying to stand up for Hara since she was in tears.

    ReplyDelete
  100. Why cry if its not true lol just laugh it off. Just weak.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Your level of ignorance concerning this particular show is frustrating, especially when it's been mentioned several times in this article & the other article (the one about JYP saying 2PM are JYP's breadwinners) that RADIO STAR IS A SHOW FOR DISSING THEIR GUESTS.

It takes a very special type of idiot to be unable to comprehend what has been said repeatedly... And if you've been following k-pop for at least a year you'd be aware of this fact to begin with.

So again, are you new or just stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  102. Lol imma need them all to grow some. This was redic lol this is what the show is all about-you knew what kind of show this was-why cry? If its not true then laugh it off

    ReplyDelete
  103. Can I use now 'Tryhard' to her?

    ReplyDelete
  104. OMG... What a mess!!

Why did Kara come on the show?! Im sure the've watched Radio Star before and know what kind of show it is. They don't pamper nor cater to anybody no matter how big, popular, pretty, handsome you are and just lay the facts down like it is... Radio Star has always been like this!

They should have just stayed home ( ">_> )....Good lord ( ~_~ )

    ReplyDelete
  105. seriously with all the fuss... it sounded like something really serious... but after watching the video... all I can say is... neither was the bottle throwing nor the crying even like actually serious? just kinda like a sort of aegyo but in a whiny way? and really Kyuhyun barely even said anything... the whole thing has just been blown out of proportion for nothing... bashing completely unnecessary on both sides...

    ReplyDelete
  106. Wow, if that's word for word what happened, this how did this blow up at all? Seemed like Hara shut down the dating questions pretty well.

    ReplyDelete
  107. The entire point of the show is to dig into scandals and to pour salt on them. All celebrities knows that. Hara herself knew it and probably knew why she was invited, she even said "you're still going to ask". If she wasn't ready to deal with it she should have told her company to put RS out of her schedule.

    ReplyDelete
  108. She has said that it bothered her & she did say not to push her & they did exactly that! The mcs were the ones acting anything but adults prying answers out of her when they could ask anything else that doesnt bother the guests...yes its the nature of the show but really, who wouldnt be angry? It does matter bcause what she did was a mistake & an accident while the mcs are deliberately making her angry!

    ReplyDelete
  109. What bothers me about this show is that the guests are supposed to take it all without fighting back. It's a diss show fine but why are the MCs the only ones alowed to diss or respond?

And let's not pretend like this isn't an issue because they're girls.
You could tell from known misogynistic-sexist-pig Kim Gura's face that he was not amused.

    ReplyDelete
  110. K netizens are really something. There is no pleasing them. In any article related to JYP and his artists they usually bash him by caling him a failure, greddy and many other nasty names, nw they are all praising him. When KARA first hit it big Japan they were so proud, but now they constanlty trash these girls in any article. They always talk about how they aren popular anymore but they still listen and buy their music, which is apparent in their album sales. They still get hella CF offers and are more well known than more than half of Kpop girl groups.

In no way am i excusing their behavior on this show, Jiyoung's tears were really uncalled for and they all should have been more professionsal because this is their job, but i do understand why HARA would piss, when all netizens do is slut shame her. Maybe she felt like khyuhyn was inferring that she's a slut in front of the world (who knows).Seungyeon sticking up for HARA is something that any friend would do when they see their friend crying and upset.

Netizens should chill out and stop overreacting

    ReplyDelete
  111. After reading the translated comments, I can understand why Hara would get upset.Shit, fuck them Hara. Do your thing! You're young and you want to date, nothing wrong with that (obviously in south korea it is).
I wouldn't condone throwing things at your seniors, but I can understand why. Whether that's how the show is or not, the way she was treated wasn't right. Nobody should try to act like they're so above getting angry. She's human. Nobody knows what happened in their relationship but yet everyone has chosen who the victim and villain is. Just because she isn't sitting around and is ready to move on doesn't mean she should be attacked.
I was all for idols publicly dating, but if this is the reaction they'd get if they're ready to move on then, just don't reveal it especially girls. Dating idol my ass.

    ReplyDelete
  112. But DSP knows about the issue (it would be really stupid if it doesn't) so why made their members, specially Hara, to go to a show where they are going to talk about that issue. and since Kara hadn't gone to variety shows like that since long time ago. DSP could avoid this problem.

    ReplyDelete
  113. With a signed contract they can.

    ReplyDelete
  114. I think they are both at fault, RS MC's for not feelings the atmosphere the girls were creating and KARA members as well, for not understanding well the format of the show. Next time they should be a little more careful on what they say and do. I watched the clips of the program, and it wasn't as bad as people want it to be seem but some actions lead to an awkward situation.

    ReplyDelete
  115. Kara's hadn't been in variety shown since long time ago. I guess they are don't used to that terms.

    ReplyDelete
  116. Guess Gyuri and Nicole are lucky they weren't involved in this mess.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Hara, seugyeon and jiyoung are the ones with the most scandals and controversies in KARA, its makes sense why they were chosen to be on radio star over Nicole and Gyuri who have a clean image

    ReplyDelete
  118. 'dating-dol' is messed up. I'm glad she called him out. yes it's a 'diss' show but they're allowed to defend themselves especially when she's being branded a dating-dol for being in one public relationship. smh.

    ReplyDelete
  119. TBH, what else do they talk about on this show? She has the right to be angry, but on a broadcasted show, I would think you wouldn't want to make yourself look bad. I'm not dismissing her feelings, I would've been upset too.

    ReplyDelete
  120. I'm sorry but there is a difference between the way Hara is treated in the media for her dating scandals. Have you read the comments in the recent articles about her and lee soo hyuk? she was called the idol town bus for christ's sake. Of course it's going to be harder for her to 'joke' about it. good for snsd but they are not slut shamed nearly as much as hara.

    ReplyDelete
  121. Ummm last time I checked heechul has a larger non elf fandom, petals?

    ReplyDelete
  122. You can see it here http://www.twitlonger.com/show/n_1rm98h7

    ReplyDelete
  123. Hara is acting like a spoiled child. Most of Kara members are looking for sympathy.I noticed this a long time ago.Maybe because they are not popular anymore in Japan when they promote the most there?

    ReplyDelete
  124. I have no idea why DSP didn't send Gyuri to Radio Star. She is the wittiest member in KARA and 1000% more entertaining than the others. Not only would she have handled the shots fired- she would have been able to fire some of her own

    ReplyDelete
  125. No... Petals are generally ELF.

    ReplyDelete
  126. i'm not a fan of hara's, but i really think she overreacted quite a bit. she has a right to be upset, because i've seen plenty of mean-spirited comments about her dating in the past...but as a celebrity (with SIX YEARS of experience) i feel she could have stayed a little more composed on camera.
the third time the "dating" topic came up...it wasn't even the MCs who brought it up but jiyoung! if hara is aware of all the negative press she has currently, then she must be aware of all the negative comments about kara as a whole. i would have assumed they would have been a bit more careful and polite.

    ReplyDelete
  127. That's what you become when you don't have talent and rely on your looks only to become a top star

    ReplyDelete
  128. @cheoreom we can argue about this back & forth but ill just keep sticking with my opinon n vice versa so i think we should just agree that we both hv diffrent opinions regarding this,i just want to defend hara from all the bashing she doesnt deserve n for all its worth both of the mc n kara were at fault, the mcs should try to be careful nxt time & kara should be more prepared appearing on live shows

    ReplyDelete
  129. Were you with them by any chance?

    ReplyDelete
  130. If you watch the video, you'll see that she seems to be near tears, sometimes when you're frustrated, they come out for no good reason.

Maybe she's not as thick skinned as other celebrities. The bottle throwing itself doesn't even seem to be that big of a deal tbh. It's like ... aegyo whiny LOL. Granted it was unorthodox to be throwing things on talk shows in the first place, who decided to not cut that out? :c

To all those who goes "Why is she even famous" You're talking about her, you're making her even more famous than she should be.

    ReplyDelete
  131. i'm sorry but why you replied me, you have to reply to susan instead of me
    i'm just talking about jessica

if i were hara i would get frustration too on this thing
if people keep bringing up the dating scandal the more they do the more harsh comment comming from k-netz and it makes her more stressed, not to mention they are thinking about their comeback soon
i think hara is stressed and she has her days too

i hope they will stop with this but it's korea it's really hard being celebrity there
if you remember there were some korean celebrity suicide

    ReplyDelete
  132. I'm basically responding to everyone bringing up snsd and other girlgroups. I just think it's a bit shitty to put hara down and compare her to other girls (why the heck are we even doing this?) when her reaction is perfectly normal.

    ReplyDelete
  133. Something tells me that Hara's crying on Radio Star isn't JUST about the fact that they're teasing her about it, but the constant bashing and critical comments she's getting for the past several years from netizens. Whether it's her personality or how she sings or the whole dating scene, everybody has a lot of reasons to talk down on her her and well, if you're bombarded by negative comments for the past six to seven years, wouldn't you want to cry too?

    ReplyDelete
  134. no kidding. we only have about ten thousand songs written by him about this break-up.

    ReplyDelete
  135. It's probably because they know how Kyuhyun's image is, but that's pretty freaking ridiculous to blame Hara crying on that.

    ReplyDelete
  136. That shot of JYP made my day thank you LMAO

    ReplyDelete
  137. agree 100000000000000000000%

    ReplyDelete
  138. And how come people like us who are not celebrities or haven't been in any variety show for that matter are used to that term and Kara aren't?!

    ReplyDelete
  139. i don't know maybe since RS is the show where those MC dissing guest so some people think like that

being celebrity isn't that easy right =/

i hope people realize they have their days too and nobody is perfect

i think hara is stressed out because most of headline bringing her recently and she can't handle
no one is wrong here if we are seeing from both side and condition
but that jiyoung thing is so funny lmao

    ReplyDelete
  140. Did you actually watch the video or are you just going off the article because Hara's reactions aren't as excessive as you seem to think they were.

    ReplyDelete
  141. HARA is lucky that Kyuhyun is the MC if it was Heechul he would have directly said on face whatever all the netizens have said above.. and no matter if you say that she is crying because of constant teasing.. thats the purpose of the show and they kara is not a nugu idol who can't have a say on where they go.. if she really have no relation to lee soo hyuk she would have blantly said its not true end of story... and most of everything he attitude and gestures were extremely frustrating.. i don't follow kara but now this sure gives me a reason to not follow them for sure..

    ReplyDelete
  142. I feel like a fucking weirdo for not understanding why so many people are against HARA in this situation? She was basically slut-shamed on TV and in front of her colleges because she was dating one idol and people want to bitch about her raising her voice against her seniors and crying??? Yes, radio star is a tough show, crying brings down the mood etc, but that doesn't excuse the excessive teasing of her love/sex life. And also it's really freaking obvious that she was trying not to cry. Did you not notice all of the fake laughter as they were teasing her and how it continued even after the tears were running? Hara has been an idol for quite a while so she definitely knows how important it is to keep her composure and it shows that she tried too, but when things went too far and she couldn't help but to show how she really feels. I'm pretty disgusted with how insensitive most people are being about this.

    ReplyDelete
  143. Honestly I feel that people took things out of proportion (as usual)

She reacted that way because she is feed up with all the comments about her (and not just the ones from the show) but I understand that people deal with things in different ways and that's normal, even the tears, but I agree that it looked quite unprofessional when she "throwed" her water. If she wasn't sure she could handled it she should had recognize her own limits and asked her company for a different schedule.

By other hand, the whole "OMG Kyu threatened her career" comments, seriously, it was a joke, he was joking around what Yoon Jong Shin said about him knowing about her personal life, so what he said was only a way to follow the comments trying to say in an exagerated way his position. I don't feel he was thinking ways of making her cry, in my opinion it wasn't the best possible way to follow the convo but I have heard that kind of joke before (they also joked saying this could be like the dissing with the the hip hop scene). At the end you can see at the video he felt sorry and he wanted to make it clear to her that he was just joking. Also about the thing where the girls asked him not to go into her personal stuff during backstage, honestly I wonder how much can he do? His job is to ask questions and comments about the topics regarding the guest, he didn't really went into personal stuff revealing things and as the MC's said, if they cut all the dating part then they don't have too many topics to use. Is like going to a singing show and ask for short singing parts.

I'm not sure what would have I done in both of their positions but in my opinion, she could have used that opportunity in a more smart way, as some knetizens said in a harsh way, tears and tantrums(?) are not gonna make her controvesies go away, words can, she could make it clear that she is like any other girl and that her dating life should be something private, and that should just concern her and maybe those close to her, making things clear and close some mouths that way.

but anyway, what is done is done >.>

    ReplyDelete
  144. ooh sorry for the wall of words in advance XD I couldn't keep everything to myself

    ReplyDelete
  145. I just want to take a second to say- Spica would never do this. Go stan them, save a panda, for every fanchant an angel gains it's wings.

    The end,

    ReplyDelete
  146. Well what does Hara expect, you have no fucking talent at all, and your looks will not last forever. People are going to nitpick at your dating life because that is the only interesting thing about you. Stop being a little cry baby and start abusing that angle or shut up.

    ReplyDelete
  147. Oh it's already translated by NB. #1 and #2 comments under Naver above.

And here's a picture to prove it:
    http://www.ilbe.com/files/attach/new/20130905/377678/1166702855/1930649537/6424f792e6096d5d3f1b79aa5ff8a847.jpg

    ReplyDelete
  148. I'm not trying to be rude but why are people saying KARA which consists of 5 members when there is clearly only 3 members there.

    ReplyDelete
  149. It's because it's disrespectful. That's the culture, which most people here don't seem to get. They're not only older than her, but they're also her seniors. If they're going to provoke her, she has to sit there and take it. It may seem wrong to you, but that's the way confucian cultures are structured. You don't disrespect your superiors like that even if you're wronged.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Honestly, watched the video. I've seen better fake crying in my life. This show is known for asking sensitive questions, why would you even agree to go on a show such as this if you're in such hot waters with your so called dating controversies? Yes, everyone makes mistakes but keep it professional at least. Never really understood why people have been disliking her so much, but I can see that she's pretty careless with the way she acts as a "idol" You signed up for this yourself, you know this can get tough sometimes. Being in the industry so long, you should know better by now.

    ReplyDelete
  151. I agree. She's been in the industry for several years. She should know how to handle scandals like this more professionally. Fake crying, whining, throwing bottles, it's all very juvenile. She's definitely not the only idol dating around, but she's not very careful about it. She's been caught in not one but two dating scandals now. At some point, she needs to own up to them like an adult.

    ReplyDelete
  152. LOL I also agree with what you said. Lots of idols have been caught in much worse scandals than her and deal with it much better. Not going to name names but some idols have had it pretty bad. There's not much sympathy to give to her. One of the rare times I agree with what the K netizens have to say.

    ReplyDelete
  153. I don't think he missed up I think hara just overreacted what he said to her was not that mean If you compare it to other episodes of RS

    ReplyDelete
  154. please, we all know that girls are sometimes easy to explode when hormone takes control...

    ReplyDelete
  155. LMFAOO u must be new here >_>

    ReplyDelete
  156. 1.I don't think Heechul would have called her a slut
2.It doesn't matter if she has a relationship with LSH or not she has a right to have an emotional response

    ReplyDelete
  157. guess gyuri and nicole were busy that day

    ReplyDelete
  158. This statement is actually over used in variety shows, like all the time as a joke and no one takes it seriously. Its not really as serious as ppl are making it. Its just that Hara's response was unexpected which is why the MCs were shocked and the show became really awkward after.

    ReplyDelete
  159. there is no way k-netizen being positive tbh
    RARE

    ReplyDelete
  160. I love how you act as if her ex (a male, last I checked) hasn't been ambushed with questions about their break-up. RANDOMLY AMBUSHED ON RANDOM SHOWS LIKE WEEKLY IDOL. And yes, he has been on Radio Star. In the hot seat just like Hara.

Does he ever lose his shit? No, he just politely declines to discuss it or laughs it off. You really think it doesn't mean anything to him that they rudely try to pry into his business? If you think is a one-way road, reassess your argument again.

    ReplyDelete
  161. Ok it looks like SM stans, especially k-ELFs, are showing how well they are organized. The article was posted just before mid-night, so it's strange it have gotten such attention. Entertainment news was lacking mega scandals lately(I am talking about last 100 hours or so here). So fan girls are looking for a witch to hunt.

    ReplyDelete
  162. if they didnt ask her about dating, what should they do? asked her about singing or acting skill? LOL

    ReplyDelete
  163. Why are you so sure that they've watched the show before?

    ReplyDelete
  164. Maybe the reason for outburst of tears is because there is something going on behind closed doors. Any who why didn't the other two girls come?

    ReplyDelete
  165. look at the upvotes on Naver! looooooooooooooool

    ReplyDelete
  166. THIS! Its funny how some ppl are blaming the MCs 4 being insensitive like its the show and the MCs problem to accommodate to the guests when it its really the guests job to accommodate to the show's style. A show like RS has been running since 2007 with this same style and other guests (celebs/idols) have gotten harsher comments before, this is no special case. Also a statement such as "If I open my mouth, it'll be over for you" is an overly used statement in K entertainment. Its been used so many times as a joke, nothing serious at all.

    ReplyDelete
  167. lol one of the MCs said that if they didn't ask about her dating scandal then they would have to throw away half of the script(Kara's part) or something like that

    ReplyDelete
  168. REALLY??? LOLLL

    ReplyDelete
  169. k-netizen more like hating her on the first place rather than the dating scandal itself
    it's very hard

    ReplyDelete
  170. yes they did lol

  171. Forget about them watching the show or not....
They even went on the show before... How about that!?? ( ">_> )

  172. r u serious? over 7000 up voted only from kelf lol if they had such power then they would've turned all sj articles positive. Its just that knetz r not liking Hara with all the dating scandals surrounding her these days. And its not really strange that the article got such attention for such topic. Seems like kara really offended knetz lol

  173. exactly, though i feel sorry for her, she should've handled it more professionally, she's not a rookie in this industry. it just makes that she's got something to hide with that kind of reaction tbh >.<

  174. Let's not forget that to respect someone older than you is important in Korea.

    ReplyDelete
  175. Guessing that the fact that she disrespected her sunbaes by throwing water bottles at them was the fuel to the fire. It matters a lot in Korea to respect the older one.

    ReplyDelete
  176. and you know them in real life too? No, so?

  177. There was no excessive teasing, at least in RS standards. Harsher comments have been made before and this is no special case. They barely even had a chance to talk about her scandal before she started yelling and then started crying. The only strange thing was her reaction tbh. The way she reacted didn't help her case at all. Also she must be really stupid to appear in a show like RS thinking she wouldn't be teased about her scandals. I still agree that Knetz are really harsh but they're harsh with everyone really.

  178. MCs can joke but the guests can't? I could see Hara getting teary eyed and they continuing until she cried.

  179. no matter what, she's still korean and she she knows very well how such actions are viewed by the public. she really messed up.

    ReplyDelete
  180. well, it makes sense that they were invited but it doesn't again if they were going to act like this. they shouldn't be telling the mcs to ask that and not ask that. it's a diss program. they should just handle it the right way.

  182. This show was really good for Park Jin Young. I keep seeing him getting praised by K-netizens and they usually make fun of him.

  183. but the only thing she doesnt like is the ice princess nicakname thing. she doesnt like it if it's bad meaning
jessicaa cn really concern to you but she cant do 24/7 and she aalways acattsspontaneously that's why we caant expect her
her words always comes out naturaly
she pretty nice and funny and clumsy and stupid :D
she doesnt hold grudge thats why hyosic is violent couple and joking around often, when Radio stars brought up about headbanging thing she accepted what hyoyeon said about her haha
jessica is pretty nice even many kids love and approach her
    she's a kid magnet

  184. The only thing I don't get is why everyone is so angry at them for doing what Radio Star does every single episode.
So its ok for the MC's to attack the guests but not the other way around? Also, why are they attacking Seungyeon for defending her member? Since when is that a bad thing? If you have a friend or relative and someone makes them cry, wouldn't you defend them as well???
Isn't it the MC's job to make the guests squirm?? So shouldn't they know how to react when the tables are turned?
Lastly, who cares about seniority on this show. Maybe I'm missing something since I haven't seen the show yet, but how is any of what they did disrespectful to JYP?

    ReplyDelete
  185. kinda agree kim gura even brought up again and again about that eunyuk-iu thing. never ending story
i feel bad for them though

    ReplyDelete
  186. In korea/koreans in general take the respecting the senior thing very serious. "Throwing"/sliding a bottle at a senior also yelling at a senior/in front of a big senior like JYP is considered very disrespectful and she knows how such actions are viewed by the public, yet she still did them. As a celebrity and public figure the public expects her to act more respectfully and composed on national TV. You can't say "who cares about seniority on this show" or any show or anywhere basically in Korea. Again seniority is a very serious issue in korea that cannot be ignored.

  187. I don't think the throwing thing was so bad. Obviously, Hara and Kyuhyun know each other well, and it was just a playful shoving of the bottle in his direction. He was teasing her and so she did that back to him. Also, it wasn't like she was crying badly, just tears welled up and she had to wipe them away, but she was still smiling afterwards. I think this is all a storm in a teacup. I am not a fan of Goo Hara or of Kyuhyun. I just think it was to be expected that the topic of dating would come up, and they teased her about it, I don't think she should take it so badly, and I don't think she did. She's the emotional sort so she would tear up easily. But I agree with some people that Gyuri would have been more entertaining on a show like this.

  188. korean culture

  189. She didn't get "angry". She just playfully shoved a drink bottle in his direction. It's not like she threw it at his head or his body. She was smiling and laughing through this segment. He was teasing her too much so that's why she reacted this way. It's how you would behave with friends close to your age that you knew well, and they were making you uncomfortable with their teasing.

  190. Seniority is not that important on a show like this.

    ReplyDelete
  191. but its different in korea
    it's one of the culture
