The journalist was going for the 'so many dating scandals covering up comeback news' angle but the timing of the article's release (right after the Asiana crash) along with the implications in the title left a bad taste in people's mouths for obvious reasons.

1. [+764, -33] Is the entertainment industry a priority? Or the lives of human beings?

2. [+453, -17] How is a celebrity's album promotion or the entertainment industry important at all at a time like this? Please think about what's really important here, journalist. Would you have written this article if you had a family member on that plane?

3. [+375, -11] Is an article like this necessary right now?

4. [+254, -8] Is this journalist joking right now? There are lives at stake as we speak right now... Have some damn respect.

5. [+242, -8] Celebrities better not fu*king whine about this. You might be crying over not being able to sell a few more albums but there are families out there right now who would give up their entire savings just to turn back time. You saw what happened to Ivy. Just shut your mouths.

6. [+177, -3] Journalist, you didn't even have to write Asiana for me to know that you implied it with the 'big breaking news' in the title

Article: Channel A's inappropriate statement "Fortunate that the two deaths are Chinese"... Criticisms rain down upon them

Source: Star Today via Daum

Channel A's news program was reporting on the Asiana crash when the anchor said, "Both of the two casualties have been confirmed to be Chinese. That is fortunate for us."

PLEASE remember that this comment is not being condoned AT ALL by any Korean/Korean netizen and the channel is receiving a lot of hate and criticism for making such a statement. Articles about their actual deaths have received nothing but condolences. This is the fault of Channel A alone.

1. [+2,103, -27] They have no right to call themselves a broadcast channel. Shut your doors.

2. [+1,185, -10] Channel A has a way of saying things that could never come out of a normal Korean's head... Just get rid of this channel. I heard they're in the reds anyway. Such a waste of tax money.

3. [+854, -12] What a trashy channel not even worthy of being called a broadcast channel. Brainless anchors thinking they're hot shots.

4. [+649, -10] Is this noise marketing to get attention to their channel? Disgusting... Just close your doors. How could you even think of saying something like that about a human life.

5. [+590, -11] Trash cable...

6. [+442, -12] It's always the idiots that end up fu*king the country over in the end

7. [+328, -3] Korea really needs to start teaching morals and building character in our children... This is happening because our kids are growing up learning that it doesn't matter if someone dies or lives, as long as they succeed... This is so frustrating...

8. [+302, -7] To the two young Chinese who lost their lives today, I sincerely pray you rest in peace... And let's throw what this trash anchor said where it belongs.. in the trash can.

9. [+155, -2] What an utter embarrassment to the country

10. [+73, -2] This is what happens when you put people on the level of Ilbe brains in the position of running their own channel...
