A reaction video to Ladies Code's debut track "Bad Woman" is receiving much attention. The video shows a male fan showing a variety of expressions and gestures while watching the group's music video. The fan already looks to be excited to the point of being out of breath even before the music video begins and is not shy about expressing his amazement with the various scenes in the music video.

Considering the fact that he knows each of the members' names clearly and is able to follow along with the choreography shows that although Ladies' Code is only a month into their debut, their popularity is already reaching overseas.

The fan said, "This music video concept is as amazing as a Hollywood movie" and promised to upload a Ladies' Code cover dance.

1. [+139, -20] Lee So Jung is the best

2. [+121, -25] This group may be known as the Kwon Ri Sae group but in actuality, they are the Lee So Jung group. Great song, great singers, great group!

3. [+113, -23] Lee So Jung is the best!

4. [+27, -2] Lee So Jung is too great of a singer to be in a group, she's the best, way better than Kwon Ri Sae

5. [+24, -1] I love this group because of Lee So Jung. Ladies' Code fighting!

"The company is starting their media play, aren't they ㅋㅋ Just buy your kids a meat dinner instead of wasting money on this because they're never going to get popular at this rate ㅋㅋㅋ"

"Are they seriously using a reaction video on YouTube to claim that the group has international popularity? Reaction videos are put up by all sorts of people and only have 2,000 views at most... And they're all K-Pop fans to begin with ㅋㅋ Unbelievable media play."

"These people who put up reaction videos put them out for every new music video release... Don't get so ahead of yourself."

"The comments are just filled with company staff here.."

  2. Reaction videos are so annoying... idk how people watch them
    Whats so interesting

  3. LOL not really. Some Youtube reaction video-makers are the gungho newbies who feel compelled to know everything about every single group that debuts. They make videos for every video that gets released, from the big artists to the nugus.

  4. But isn't that guy already a kpop fan?

  5. media play aside, I love so jung's voice

  7. The seriousness of the article as the writer describes the actions of the fan is extremely amusing.

  8. I really laughed so hard at the article "The video shows a male fan showing a variety of expressions and gestures while watching the group's music video." they sound like they're analyzing the behaviour of some exotic animal species.

  9. I don't get it either. I would be too embarrassed to make a video reacting to another video.

  10. Ladies Code are a talented bunch, but.....
    They will never get big!
    Look at Spica and Rania.

  11. LOL I agree. TBH, I've watched one reaction and seriously they're soooo boring. >.< Like yeah, I get excited watching teasers or MVs of my favourite Kpop group but like...my reaction: "cool...time to download...or buy the music...lol if I can find it on iTunes..."

  12. i find reaction videos so exaggerated. maybe i'm just not the type of person but usually my first time watching any kpop video my eyes are narrowed through the whole video and i'm super judgey. my screams and squeals are definitely kept to a minimum. (is what i say now i really don't remember any of my reactions and if they're anything like the ones i've seen it's clear why i've wiped it out of my memory database.)

  13. haha I was like this when i first got into kpop like 5 years ago and yes i'd look up every nugu artists video, now i dnt even care aside from the artists im a fan of.

    ReplyDelete
  14. i totally agree!!the person who voted you down must have made a reaction viseo. haha!

    ReplyDelete
  15. So much truth in this comment!! Ive noticed that too! All of those reaction videos are from the new kpop fans

    ReplyDelete
  16. I always feel second hand embarrassment for them just by looking at the thumbnail when I see those videos off to the side in the recommendations.

  17. I dont believe you cuz 5yrs ago there wasn't all of these nugus popping up every day....

    ReplyDelete
  18. Ugh reaction videos... nobody gives a shit what you look like while watching the music video.

  22. They are actually pretty good imo!

  23. If these companies pay me well, I will do so many reaction videos for them.

  24. stop and look at dara being a bunny bboying

  25. hahaha anyone making reaction videos are total losers

  26. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-8O-1p5t8I

The guy is seriously effeminate with his action.. ridiculously fake. Cringing if Knetizens think that all international fans are people like him who overreact to the simplest of things.

  27. Ew people who make kpop reaction videos are the biggest attention seekers ever. I dont get why people even give a shit.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Kinda wished they used Kpopspazz or JREKML for the picture. Just because those are the only two amusing kpop reviewers I know.

    ReplyDelete
  29. well then you wouldn't have been looking up many..

    ReplyDelete
  30. I wonder if this guy knows he's being used for media play.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Ladies Code is actually pretty good...but no...this article is media play.

  32. Koreans actually think kpop is huge in the states. I have to tell them time and time again that just because a couple hundred people in so and so state (ie, NY) likes kpop doesn't mean it's a popular type of music.

They're brainwashed by all those shitty hallyu documentaries that air from time to time in Korea to make kpop seem bigger than it actually is.

    ReplyDelete
  33. You are spot on. The hallyu is fabricated. Just like the youtube views.

    ReplyDelete
  34. so literal, i got into kpop 5 years ago, didnt say i did it exactly at that time per se, a rookie artist was a nugu then but they may be not now, there may have not have been an onslaught of nugus back then but there was an amount of debuts though. sheesh.

    ReplyDelete
  35. w/c is why i looked up a lot of em rookies since there weren't that many at that time. :p

    ReplyDelete
  36. Why couldn't they media play with our Reaction?

Would've been hilarious to see them write about our admiration for the black dude's wig and Ladies' Code's use of date rape drugs.

    Oh well...

    ReplyDelete
  37. LOL I agree with this, I used to look up everything and follow everything.. three years later I only still love one group XD

    ReplyDelete
  38. Nailed it right in the head. I've seen some people doing a reaction video for an artist they don't even have a clue of. And most of them don't even speak Korean, they are just reacting to how pretty the videos look or how sexy/cute the artists of the videos are.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Even though this article is B.S., Ladies' Code are doing really well. They've spent three consecutive weeks in the top 40.

  40. Great group for 2013. And they have a really good album as well!~ So Jung's my bias too!~

    ReplyDelete
  41. I think this is SUCH A PROUD ACHIEVEMENT... for the YouTube guy that uploaded it. Good job in being chosen to represent a group's "popularity"!

    ReplyDelete
  42. LOL i didn't really get it either and I never started watching reaction videos but I noticed people WERE actually watching them so I started making them and look now my face is on an article so that's something

    ReplyDelete
  43. apparently people do if you look at how many views some of these other videos have

    ReplyDelete
  44. I think depends on the video and the person talking. Personally, I love to watch reaction vids to Shinhwa's Venus mainly to see the first chorus in that vid. The reactions at that part can be entertaining, because some suddenly stop talking and pay attention to the vid.

  45. LOL XDDDDD

  46. this comment made me LOL so hard XD
