Article: 'Gentleman' full version... 'powerful beat, fun lyrics'

1. [+122, -29] It doesn't have the impact that Gangnam Style had but seeing as how it's an electronic hook song with a lot of English lyrics obviously meant for his American advancement, I don't think it's impact that he was going for but addictive lyrics and melody. It's a fun song. He must've been pressured. I hope he enjoys his promotions in not only Korea but overseas!

2. [+143, -52] What's wrong with people? You told him not to feel pressured over this and that you'd support him no matter what song he made and now you're all calling it crap. Since when did you all turn into music critics? Calling it bad, calling it nonsense... Imagine how much pressure Psy is under? Yang Hyun Suk probably pooped blood over this and the composer probably spent sleepless nights worrying over this. The song is good... This is a time where we should be sending him our utmost support and encouragement. Hoping the best for his worldwide success!!

3. [+104, -33] Just like Gangnam Style, I listened to the song the first time and thought "what is this..." but after I turned it off, it's been stuck in my head ㅋㅋㅋ Psy, do well!!

4. [+26, -6] Opinions are probably divided because it's only the digital song. Once the MV comes out with Ga-In and the dance, I can already imagine it being daebak with foreigners dancing along. The song's not that bad.

5. [+25, -8] I think it'll be better to listen to it with the choreography. And I think the line "allangamolla" will sound funny to foreigners, which is probably what he was going for ㅋ So that it sounds enjoyable

Article: Psy Gentleman divided opinions "addictive" vs "not as good as Gangnam Style"

Source: Asia Today via Nate

1. [+41, -5] Gangnam Style was made for Koreans and just happened to hit daebak but Gentleman was made for the international audience from the getgo so Koreans might think it's not as good as Gangnam Style. I'll continue to support Psy with the hope that the international audience reacts better to it.

2. [+49, -15] I smell Park Myung Soo in this song

3. [+16, -2] I thought it was good the first time I listened to it. The fact that he was even able to overcome all that pressure to make a song like this is amazing in itself. I really don't get people who aren't supporting him and instead telling him to stop because it's a failure;;
