Manager taken to court for "touching the arm of a trainee"

Female trainee A who was training to debut in a five member girl group filed a lawsuit against her manager B claiming that he had sexually harassed her.  

A claimed that when she wore shorts, B asked her if she was wearing shorts or panties and touched her butt. A eventually filed a lawsuit claiming that B had touched her butt, hit her, and stared at her stomach when she is a minor. 

The court decided that they couldn't believe the majority of her testimony because she switched stories and seemed to exaggerate some aspects of her claims, as well as a lack of evidence. She was also already in trouble with the company for missing days without permission, forcing the company to ask for a deposit, to which she responded by filing a lawsuit against B.  

The only claim the court believed was A saying that she "felt bad because B touched the inside of her arm." B was ordered to pay $10,000 USD in penalty and 40 hours of sexual violence therapy.  

Court stated, "Touching her arm is an act that can make the other person feel sexually uncomfortable. It hadn't been that long since A had moved to that company, which meant she didn't have enough time to develop a trusting relationship with B for his actions to be justifiable. There is no reason for a company staff to justify touching the body of a trainee just because they are training under their company to debut as a celebrity. We feel that B had intentions of harassing A."
