Journalists prove they're big babies :'(

Article: Media outlets angered over an actress who refused an interview, revenge taken through articles

Actress Ryu Hyun Kyung attended a press con type event for her upcoming movie where she was asked about her dating rumors with Jang Giha. She denied the rumors and asked that journalists stay on topic and refrain from asking further questions about it.

Journalists (TV Report in particular), however, wrote up several articles sensationalizing the rumors again so RHK's reps asked that the articles all be deleted.

RHK then said that she felt uncomfortable being interviewed by the same TV Report journalist who wrote the malicious articles about her and asked TV Report to send another journalist for her next interview. They complied but backed out at the last minute saying that the new journalist had another schedule to attend to so they would be sending the original journalist. RHK never actually refused the interview with the journalist in question; her company just expressed that she felt uncomfortable working with him again.

Pissed off, TV Report started releasing false articles claiming that RHK was boycotting all interviews. They then went further by bringing up her older controversies and putting them back in the spotlight, as well as making up controversies for her attitude on her recent guesting on 'Running Man'.

Other outlets like Media Day, Asia Economy, Sports Seoul, News 1, and Chosun Ilbo joined the hate train for no reason and released their own articles under malicious titles like:

""This isn't the first time Ryu Hyun Kyung has boycotted journalists"

"Ryu Hyun Kyung on the chopping block for hateful statement 'Why would I date an idiot like Jang Giha?'"

"Ryu Hyun Kyung's boycott vs Lee Kyung Kyu's hard work promotion, contrasting work ethics"

"'Asshi, isshi' 'Running Man' Can Ryu Hyun Kyung really say these things on air?"

"Ryu Hyun Kyung's boycott causes a stir, who does she think she is?"

"Ryu Hyun Kyung's solitary boycott, 'I won't do it if I don't want to'"

"Ryu Hyun Kyung boycotts the journalist who released a dating rumor article despite explanation"

"Ryu Hyun Kyung on the chopping block for boycott controversy... why?"

Other journalists are divided on what's going on. One journalist feels that RHK's attitude in thinking that she can boycott journalists and interviews just because they wrote a bad article about her isn't right. Another journalist feels that TV Report is acting purely out of emotions and that it isn't right for them to be using the media like this to get their revenge on her.

1. [+450, -1] These journalists think they're worth something when all they do is sit around and copy internet posts. They're basically trying to make celebrities their slaves with antics like this.

2. [+347, -10] What the hell, even I wouldn't want to interview with a journalist who wrote malicious things about me. Isn't it stupid enough to think that the actress has to accept every interview offer that comes in? I seriously question how many entertainment journalists actually have brains.

3. [+294, -6] Journalists think they're the sh*t. They need to realize that these people have the right to refuse if they feel that it's necessary. Ryu Hyun Kyung had every right to not want to do the interview but TV Report is out to kill her right now... I feel like if she was an A class actress, they wouldn't have gotten as far as they did.

4. [+231, -6] It's journalists like them that take sexual services and bribes to write up articles... A media worth less than a dog.

5. [+215, -2] Entertainment journalists are just... less than trash... the lowest of the human class.

6. [+202, -2] Is refusing an interview even worth revenge articles like this? -_- They're like little kids. It's not like she refused the interview outright, she just didn't want to be interviewed by the journalist who made her feel uncomfortable. How is that so wrong?

7. [+155, -1] Can we please get rid of all these media outlets!!!! Please!

8. [+158, -7] Journalists are like the bugs and flies that sit around and wait for celebrities to poop so they can eat it up.
