How did Yeeun do in her first musical?

Article: Wonder Girls Yeeun's first musical "Breaking the idol bias"

1. [+168, -36] She did not break any bias. I saw Yeeun and Kyuhyun's musicals and they only did as well as they did because M Musical is MR. Anything with an orchestra, you could not hear her voice at all. The comparison is more drastic when she's standing on stage alongside musical actors. Since she's the main vocalist, I thought she'd be a decent singer but that wasn't the case at all. The only person to have broken any idol bias is Ock Joo Hyun. She was amazing in Rebecca.

2. [+124, -38] Idols, don't think there's an easy spot for you in the musical industry. Your ticketing power may be important but that's only important to the production companies. The audience couldn't care less. We'd go to music programs if we wanted to see idols. Ock Joo Hyun is the only idol to have earned recognition as a musical actress... She has the power to make even antis turn into her fans. Work harder if you want to be acknowledged.

3. [+75, -23] Physical appearance wise, she matched the role of Constance well. Her voice was clear and pretty and she definitely improved in April compared to February... but I felt bad for her because she really looked like she was struggling in the jail scene in both months. A musical performance is not the stage to show your improvement (it's to show the final product). That's why people are so uptight with castings... Kim So Hyun did so well as Constance and Min Young Ki did great as well but Son Jun Ho harmonized much better with the other cast members.

4. [+35, -5] Honestly speaking, she didn't well nor did she act well either. Her acting was carried by her clear voice but she doesn't have the talent to carry herself the rest of the way through, which made me as the audience member nervous the entire time watching her. Performing in a musical means acting and singing at the same time but her emotions were horrible when she was singing... It seemed the producers went with an idol casting for the Japanese tourists but Nam Kyung Joo or Kim Ah Sun seemed like they were wasting their time on stage together... Aside from fans, the rest of the audience is not buying tickets to see an idol improve their acting...

5. [+28, -17] I supported her right from the start because I'm a Wonder Girls' fan but her voice cracked sometimes... Although it's disappointing, she still has potential to grow... So fighting to the Wonder Girls.
