Article: Psy's "Gentleman" MV unsuitable for broadcast by KBS

1. [+420, -56] I understand the ban because as a parent, you can't guarantee that your kid isn't going to watch and follow along... Kids copy everything these days. There are elementary school criminals, etc and at a point in their lives where they're still working out what's moral and right, they might just copy without knowing because it's deemed cool

2. [+350, -57] KBS is not at all wrong with this. People are so blinded by Psy's need for success that they're just tearing apart anything that's getting in his way. Psy's MV is without a doubt sexually suggestive... Mayonnaise on a fish cake stick? Anyone can tell that the scene is referring to oral sex. And men lying on the floor with women dancing on top? ㅡㅡ; The more successful Psy becomes, the more exposed he is to children... There's a need for some lines to be drawn. Remember when Jackie Chan was on Knee-Drop Guru and he said that he only makes movies that he knows he can show his own kids and other kids

3. [+142, -11] Yeah, I get that Psy's amazing but that doesn't mean he can break all the rules and standards. If we excuse him, then we have to excuse others too.

1. [+704, -54] KBS is a performance broadcast so it's understandable

2. [+543, -54] Unlike the MOGEF who hammers out bans without standards, I prefer KBS because at least they follow the standards they set ㅋㅋ

3. [+485, -49] I can see KBS's reasoning... The scene totally comes off as those losers who kick around trash while drunk in the streets;;;
