Actor Kang Sung Pil returns after a three year hiatus from marijuana scandal

Actor Kang Sung Pil into a marijuana scandal in May of 2011 and is now making his comeback through a movie this year.  

"I'm embarrassed of myself even now. I was scared to go out for the past three years. I was too apologetic to se other people... I promise to work hard so that I don't make the same mistake twice. I could never exchange my happiness for any bad seduction that comes my face... If you watch over me once again, I promise that I will become an actor that gives you laughter and joy with my acting." 

He was previously given a 6 month prison sentence + 2 years of community service. He then spent 2 years and 5 months in reflection, suffering from sociophobia and depression. He attempted to commit suicide twice during those times.
