SM Entertainment determined to have the most loyal fan following by 'Mironi'
Out of the top three music labels in Korea, SM Entertainment was found to have the most loyal fan following.
'Mironi', a mobile social music player that saves the playlist history of its users, dissected the listening patterns of users who played songs by artists under SM, YG, and JYP Entertainment.

1,512 listeners of SNSD, 1,323 listeners of f(x), and 1,236 listeners of BoA were followed for the experiment. Results showed that the playlists of users who listened to an SM artist was also comprised mostly of other SM artists.
79% of the users who listened to SNSD over 50 times also listened to f(x), 76% to BoA, and 71% to SHINee.

2,532 listeners of Big Bang, 1,864 listeners of 2NE1, and 1,359 listeners of G-Dragon were followed for YG Entertainment's experiment.
73% of the users who listened to Big Bang the most also listened to 2NE1, while 85% of the users who listened to 2NE1 the most also listened to Big Bang.
88% and 79% of the users who listened to G-Dragon the most also listened to Big Bang and 2NE1 respectively.
On the contrary, users who listened to Big Bang and 2NE1 the most did not usually listen to G-Dragon.

1,666 listeners of Wonder Girls, 1,174 listeners of miss A, and 1,155 listeners of 2AM were followed for JYP Entertainment's experiment.
There was a bit of a connection between listeners of the Wonder Girls and miss A but nothing significant, and listeners of those two groups rarely ever listened to 2AM.

Director of 'Mironi' stated, "If fan loyalty can be determined by the variety of music they listen to from all artists of that company, I'd rank the companies in the order of SM, YG, and JYP."
