2008 SHINee vs 2PM

Younger boys and beastly idols. Although they were vastly different in image, they were often coupled together due to the fact that their main appeal was with the older nuna fanbase.

2009 MBLAQ vs B2ST

They debuted just a day apart so they basically debuted as rivals. Any special show would put them up on rival death match type performances.

2010 INFINITE vs TEEN TOP

Although their close debut date plays a factor in their rival image, perfectly synchronized choreography was the weapon of choice for both groups at their debut. Even now, no one can really decide who's better in terms of dance.

2011 Block B vs B1A4

A bit of a deja vu with SHINee and 2PM, as they both had different images. They got their rival image through Match Up where they were straight up featured as rivals ㅋㅋㅋ

2012 B.A.P. vs EXO

Both groups debuted with the intention of dominating the earth. B.A.P. are aliens while EXO have supernatural powers. Fans wanted to see special feature stages at the year-end ceremonies like EXO taking over the earth and B.A.P. coming down to steal it away from them...
