Article: Police, DMTN Choi Daniel indicted for marijuana suspicions... Agency "Not smoking, just selling"

Source: Chosun Ilbo via Nate

Reps: "Daniel is innocent on suspicions of smoking marijuana, but he didn't think it would become a crime if he didn't smoke it himself, which was an ill decision on his part and also how this controversy came out. He received investigations on the 9th and was sent home. He was originally brought in for suspicions of the selling of marijuana, which Daniel admitted to and revealed his full intentions for cooperation with police investigations. He is in deep reflection over the guilt he feels over his crime and rash act."

"Daniel has yet to receive a final court sentence but he does not feel the need to excuse himself from his mistakes. He himself wants to pay the full consequences for whatever the law will deal out and us staff are fully supportive of his decision. We will help him to mature as a member of society in the future."

1. [+273, -13] Selling and introduction ㅋㅋㅋ What does he think, he's 1 or 2 years old? How in the world could he not have thought that was a crime? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

2. [+226, -11] ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ There can't be an idiot more idiotic than him ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. [+188, -12] Reflection is not enough for celebrities with marijuana issues ㅡㅡ

4. [+17, -3] ㅋㅋㅋ Is he kidding right now? ㅋㅋㅋ What a complete ba$tard

5. [+23, -8] GD: Welcome, this is your first time here, right?

6. [+14, -2] People who sell marijuana normally don't smoke it themselves... They know it's bad but they also know there's a lot of money involved. But guys who sell are worse than those who smoke it!

-

"Is he an idiot? It'd make more sense for him to just say that he smoked it out of curiosity ㅋㅋ But introducing sellers?? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

"Bury him."

"Selling is worse than smoking because you're ruining the lives of others. It will be difficult for him to be forgiven. It's just upsetting because we know how long it took for him to train and finally debut and go through an unknown period..."

"I bet there are a lot of people shaking in their boots right now... There's gotta be a provider and a consumer for Daniel to have hooked them up."

"This is worse... At least if he's smoking it, he's ruining his own body.. but introducing sellers to others? I bet their names will be released soon..."

"Selling is a bigger crime than smoking so what is he talking about ㅋㅋ He didn't think it'd be a crime? What an excuse ㅋㅋㅋ"

"G-Dragon: I didn't know it was marijuana."

1. [+177, -2] So he didn't smoke it but he hooked up sellers... That's a bigger crime than smoking marijuana. What an idiot...

2. [+143, -11] I thought it was the actor Choi Daniel for a second. He should apologize to him.

3. [+122, -5] Just like the pimps are worse than the actual act of selling your body, selling marijuana is worse than the actual act of smoking. Kids like him call themselves celebrities... what will our youth grow up learning? Seeing as how his name is Daniel, he must be trash that came from overseas

4. [+112, -1] So he's saying he's not a criminal because he didn't smoke it? Is he stupid? Doesn't he realize what he committed is a bigger crime?

5. [+112, -7] No, but really, who is he?

Is he kidding me? Wasn't he in the States before he went to Korea? He should know better than most that selling is just as bad--maybe even more so--as using.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I wonder how many of his clients are kpop idols.

    ReplyDelete
  4. If you are gonna admit to it, just do it lol. Don't shoot yourself in the foot further with bullshit. Trying to say you thought it was illegal to smoke but not to sell.....like that was ever gonna work.

    ReplyDelete
  5. "He didn't think it would be a crime if he didn't smoke it..."

    LOL what an idiot....

    ReplyDelete
  6. And here lies Daniel's non-existent career.

    ReplyDelete
  7. At least he admitted it and didn't drag it out forever denying it.

    ReplyDelete
  8. His agency used the usual VERY stupid excuse in drug cases like this. As for Daniel, very disappointing to know that he got himself involved in this kind of trouble :\

All I got to say is leave GD out of this.

    ReplyDelete
  10. i have to agree

selling it to other people is a greater crime than using it for personal consumption

    he should have know it

    ReplyDelete
  11. Selling is worse than using. The sentences are harsher.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Daniel, why are you so fuckin stupid?!! T.T

    ReplyDelete
  13. They probably had undeniable proof of it.

    ReplyDelete
  14. lbr he probably did know and this is the only thing his dumb legal team could come up with.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wait ... he know that it's illegal to smoke but thought that it's OK to sell?

    ReplyDelete
  16. He didn't care 'cause he got high.

Anyway, his PR team didn't even try at all. Jeez, he's so irresponsible.
    Kiss yo' career goodbye.

I think it's even more whacked up to see toddlers smoking weed but all that aside, he was pretty darn fucking stupid to not think it's a crime. It's almost as if Daniel's been living in a cave or some shit.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Oh my god this!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  19. i've seen really dumb things said by kpop idols. but i think this is right on top along with, "i didn't know it was weed, i only had one puff."

    ReplyDelete
  20. He is at fault...

Anyway, he is not the only korean idol who smokes marijuana, I believe...
Poor him he got busted! Lol

    ReplyDelete
  21. i'm sorry what was that?? you didn't know it was a crime?? really??
    im praying for you daniel.
    really though??

    ReplyDelete
  22. Such a stupid move and way of thinking seriously. I guess it's the end for him then?

    ReplyDelete
  23. I won't be surprised if your theory is sooo true.

    ReplyDelete
  24. lbr he probably did know and this is the only thing his dumb legal team could come up with.

    ReplyDelete
  25. For all we know, E-sens could have been one of his clients :3

    ReplyDelete
  26. He's Korean American right?
Fk it man! Your idol life is over! Run back to America while you still can!

    ReplyDelete
  27. just be on the lookout for any idol that has been looking spacy as fuck lately or red-eyed.

    ReplyDelete
  28. "he's not smoking, just selling."

    not helping. really.

    ReplyDelete
  29. "Daniel is innocent on suspicions of smoking marijuana, but he didn't
think it would become a crime if he didn't smoke it himself~"
What are you, a complete idiot?

    ReplyDelete
  30. oh god, damn. what kind of an idiot is he?? seriously? you are an idol for fuck sake. being near it should just scare him and being associated with him should give him a heart attack. what happened to brain when he was selling??? didnt he think he was going to get caught~??? seriously

    ReplyDelete
  31. Wow Daniel are you selling those marijuana to Amber and Krystal? :)

    ReplyDelete
  32. But they can't. They have to drag him in every chance possible.

    ReplyDelete
  33. my question is whos the buyers??where did he get the marijuana to be sell?

    ReplyDelete
  34. If only he is loaded!
He could engage the same lawyer that PSH using!

    ReplyDelete
  35. , but he didn't think it would become a crime if he didn't smoke it himself
Did he really said this? You know that smoking weed is illegal, buying weed is illegal. How can you not know that if the user and buyer is committing crime so does the seller. If you want to come clean with an excuse, don't make a lame excuse. You are making people to hate you more. It's already hard for an actor not to get busted smoking weed, why is he even selling it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. How random is this news. Only knew about him because he hosted that Gurupop show with San E, only watched one episode which had the Wonder Girls and I would never have guessed that he would sell marijuana.

    ReplyDelete
  37. lol drug trafficking is worst than being a user man...

    ReplyDelete
  38. yes, seems like admitting it like this was their best bet at damage control...and unlike people thinking of it as stupid, it might actually be the smartest thing at the moment to admit to something stupid like this rather than drag it out if there's even more under the rug.

    ReplyDelete
  39. He chose to mess with weed in the wrong country. I wish him the best, but his excuse that he didn't think selling it was a crime is crazy as hell. He was living in the US. Who does he think will believe that ish?

    ReplyDelete
  40. im so disappointed rn woooow ):
i feel like dmnt will disband or something now. ugh why daniel whyy?

    ReplyDelete
  41. It will be an interesting few days in the world of kpop.

    ReplyDelete
  42. If he spill the beans it would be like a mini armageddon in kpop industry.

    ReplyDelete
  43. maybe daniel was desperate maybe he was helping a friend and he couldnt say no he must have had his reason cause i dont believe that reason not even for a moment that he doesnt know it's a crime
or maybe he thought marijuana is not as bad as heroin or cocaine

but it was just a really bad decision and lapse of judgement on his part :/ I hope he learns from this and gets through this.

    ReplyDelete
  44. So I guess we won't have him host season 2 of the Gurupop show. Damn.

    ReplyDelete
  45. The best thing he can do now, and maybe the only thing that can remotedly save his career somewhat is to enlist in the army and get it over with quietly and without any fuss. Maybe, just maybe, he will have a future in the industry, then.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I wonder how long it'll take before Koreans realize that there is nothing wrong with marijuana.

    ReplyDelete
  47. He's Korean-American though, so he probably doesn't even have a Klrean citizenship, thus no chance to use military service as PR therapy like Joo Jihoon did.

    ReplyDelete
  48. about as long as it will take for the rest of the world.

    ReplyDelete
  49. It's just utter stupidity to get caught SELLING weed. I'm sorry, but he's done for. Marijuana usage already got so many other K-celebs in trouble, but selling is a whole other thing.

    ReplyDelete
  50. 6. [+14, -2] People who sell marijuana normally don't smoke it themselves... They know it's bad but they also know there's a lot of money involved.

Obviously someone doesn't know the going rate for weed.

    ReplyDelete
  51. And not a single fuck was given that day. What the hell is wrong with this world. There are KPOP Idols ( I am not going to say their name, some Fans know ) who have sex with their Fans and take drugs daily and nobody cares. And ''just'' because Daniel sold marijuhana doesn't mean he smokes it all day and it doesn't make him a bad person. Some people should really just shut up.

    ReplyDelete
  52. Those idols with money or from big agency can always have expensive lawyers with connection to come up with some BS to save their ass.

    ReplyDelete
  53. If it gets bigger there's going to be a huge witch hunt to find out who did he sell to... Heads are gonna roll

    ReplyDelete
  54. Daniel...i like ur voice...but i dont like what u r doing

    ReplyDelete
  55. Selling drugs is a bigger crime than actual usage or possession of it. Yes, many people smoke weed or take drugs, but there aren't many celebs who get caught for SELLING.

    ReplyDelete
  56. As far as I know his nationality is Korean, but I could be wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  57. LOL wait wait wait. he just put himself into even bigger sh** for admitting that he sold it but never smoked it. i'll admit, i don't know much about the law myself but the majority of people who has ever seen investigative shows or has had a friend, classmate, relative etc. who's dealt with it, would know that if you aren't under investigation for selling it, don't admit to selling it!

    ReplyDelete
  58. admitting that he is selling him might help him in the long run with a plea burgain to disclose who are the big supplier then leave the country and hid 4 they might haunt u to death.

    ReplyDelete
  59. Just watch this turn out to be some breaking bad level of shit.

    ReplyDelete
  60. i'm curious about that too

    ReplyDelete
  61. especially it's the same topic : marijuana. Of course they can't leave out GD :(

    ReplyDelete
  62. oh no, this type of scandals are the worst. It surely wasnt very smart of him

    ReplyDelete
  63. ok selling and smoking marijuana definitely is a crime but still there is such a misconception about the effects of marijuana itself....people always make it out to be a toxic, life ruining drug while it's actually not worse than alcohol.

But on the other hand how do you get the idea to use and especially SELL drugs as a kpop idol...I mean isn't it obvious that fans watch your every move and see you as a role model!

Considering that how he sure acted reaaallly stupidly :l he should learn from the consequence

    ReplyDelete
  64. what if they're just sleep-deprived? :o

    ReplyDelete
  65. oh my... this idiot.. That's it for Dalmatian. I don't think they will recover from this. :S What a pity.

    ReplyDelete
  66. ...and the consumers. he better leave LA too

    ReplyDelete
  67. Kpop is really really tiring. 24/7 schedule. Marijuana is probably just an energy booster? NOT trying to justify Daniel's doing here, but you never know, it's probably a one time thing. It happened during Sept-Dec last year. Can yall calm down? He made a mistake. He's just human being, not some priest or angel. Stop condemning him. You never know who's next. It could be your bias. Just be strong Daniel. I don't worry about him, I just found out about him today, and that he has a sister and it could be hard for his family to handle :( He made a bad decision. But I still hope there's room for him to mend.

    ReplyDelete
  68. " there is such a misconception about the effects of marijuana itself"

    doesn't matter

    ReplyDelete
  69. omgosh this is so stupid-_- i can't even begin...=_=
L said his personality was crazy....crazy because of the marijuana....he sells._.

    ReplyDelete
  70. me too, except the episode that I watched is not the Wonder Girls, but I forgot, about which group. However, from what I remember, he was kinda cute/kind guy. I cannot believe that he actually sell marijuana.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I like him when i saw him 1st time @ goropop with MBLANQ,he speaks good english @ that time i don't know about their group, he is good looking ,he can be an actor and singer if he just be patient , their time 2 shine will come ,so many idols 2 compete with u just try harder and work harder,u r young u make mistake(after all u r a human being) pay the price of ur mistake,go 2 rehab & start anew use that talent GOD have giving u for a good cuz,be strong GOD is testing u overcome it and make this a lesson 2 do d right thing i pray 4 u,be humble no matter what ,make money the right way(easy money the wrong way not good)

    ReplyDelete
  72. You can tell when someone's high and when someone's just tired. Lol.

    ReplyDelete
  73. But if he is found guilty and convicted, then dosn't he have to serve some prison time(don't know bout s.korea, but in my country drug issue=jail time) ? I don't think he can go to the army then.

    ReplyDelete
  74. Weed dealers are pretty much the biggest stoners out there. Wtf is that Netizen like 12 or something? LOL.

    ReplyDelete
  75. It doesn't fucking matter because smoking weed and selling weed are both crimes. Why would you do something when you know it's illegal, especially if you're a celebrity or are preparing to be a celebrity?

    ReplyDelete
  76. Selling is indeed much worse morally than smoking and possessing but as different countries have different laws about marijuana, it's possible that Daniel thought Korea gave harsh punishments to the user instead of the seller. I'm not saying 'oppa didn't mean it' but generally there are four ways that countries deal with drug crime: legalization, giving it away for free, harsh punishment on seller, and harsh punishment on user. It's not always true that selling gets a worse offense than using.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Why is it always the group groups that go through the most crap?? First Block B and their lawsuit now this happens, I dont stan DMNT but there in really hot fire right now :(

    ReplyDelete
  78. Hold up.....

He did not think selling it was a crime? Really? Really Daniel? Come on! LOL

    ReplyDelete
  79. Wow, really? Probably the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
His group must have been making it so bad that he has to get a side job. That's sad, really sad.
It safe to say that he/his group is basically done. They're not GD or even part of a big company so good luck trying to come back

    ReplyDelete
  80. What a horrible excuse. Is this really the best they could come up with? Everyone knows that selling drugs is a crime. Try again.

    ReplyDelete
  81. nah son, most idols take stimulants like adderall and other drugs to keep awake and hyper. It's the dazed idols and super laid back idols that are suspect.

    ReplyDelete
  82. Don't follow DMTN,but this is definitely bad news for the rest of the group members too. It's going to cost them a lot.
And its super idiotic to say he's dealing but not taking them. Past issue's have shown korean public and knetizens are pretty strict regarding drug related issue, and even if he makes a comeback later, they'll never ever let him forget the past.IF he's proven gulity then does it mean jail time for him(coz in my country it does)?

    ReplyDelete
  83. But alcohol is also considered a toxic, life ruining drug..

    ReplyDelete
  84. pff you obviously didn't read the rest of my comment because I said exactly the same <.<

    ReplyDelete
  85. Why is selling marijuana worse? I mean everybody has a choice in what they do... either you buy and "make use" of it or you don´t. As long as he didnt force people to buy it...

Anyway thats another thing. I´m still sitting here thinking of what an idiot he is... I´m pretty sure he´s well aware of his crime so whats up with " I didnt know it was a crime to sell that stuff" lol wut?! I never came in contact with drugs nor have my friends/family but I´m more well informed than him? Don´t kid me... I still like Daniel but seriously... go and get what you deserve.

    ReplyDelete
  86. he's giving a chance for other people to fall into a bad thing...do u get it?=_=

    ReplyDelete
  87. coughGcoughDcoughRcoughAcoughGcoughOcoughN

    ReplyDelete
  88. If authourities filed an arrest warrant against him, it is clear to assume they already had solid proof against to use him on court.

And he isn't GD with crazy shielding fans a loaded company to fight for him.

    ReplyDelete
  89. lol i knew it, idols are shit

    ReplyDelete
  90. That makes no sense. Why would people who've bought marijuana not use it if THEY BOUGHT IT? He's become a dependency to people who may become addicted and he's allowing himself to ruin other people's lives through selling it to them.

    ReplyDelete
  91. G DRAGON, SEUNGRI & TOP.

    ReplyDelete
  92. I'd like to think he was selling to make extra cash since it's so tough if you're not in a top group. Either way, the excuse "I didn't know it was a crime" is still ridiculous, IMO. He's basically urging people to do something deemed bad, and to say he's not responsible is bizarre.

Either way, he cut a deal with the cops (I mean, how did he get his supply?). That counts for something, I guess.

    ReplyDelete
  93. I bet his #1 client is GDruggin.

    ReplyDelete
  94. probably he has the Korean citizenship but don't think going in the army serving as PR will help him too much (JiHoon was using and not selling ecstasy as far as i remember)... maybe going on the front line serving as simple soldier and prove that he is "a man" (whatever means that) would repair his reputation.

the worst thing he can do, and definitely would "kill" his reputation : avoiding the Korean law using the American card.

tbh something is missing here: he didn't know that it is illegal to sell??? really?... so police caught him but no one from people around him (even his comp. or his mates) saw what he was doing?... no one could stop him? who are the buyers? how did the police find out?

    ReplyDelete
  95. He will fucking spill like a glass of milk.

If any of the buyers are happen to be celebrities, he will cooperate and tell them everything to get the best deal or lessened punishment.

    ReplyDelete
  96. Idols are people just like everyone else in the world. It's just that they don't fall in those narrow idol standards that is expected of them.

    ReplyDelete
  97. 1) "I didn't know it was weed. I thought it was a normal cig from some nugu."

    2) "You mean it was marijuana? omo" *shocking face mode on*

    ReplyDelete
  98. "Selling is worse than smoking because you're ruining the lives of others. " << THIS

    ReplyDelete
  99. Take some med for your cough and go see a doctor.

    ReplyDelete
  100. from the other incidents probably he'll do jail time but it is 1st crime so hopefully the sentence will be minimum one (then the army)+probation time+ hours of community service+the fine.

    ReplyDelete
  101. His fans must be shitting in their pants and praying hard that this nugu won't blurt his name out.

    ReplyDelete
  102. GAY-DRAGON IS A CRACK ADDICT

    ReplyDelete
  103. Of course people are going to bring up GD, ESens and even Psy in a case like this, but the facts of GD's case are different. His indictment was suspended because of insufficient evidence. Regardless of what you or anyone else suspects, the Prosecutor did not have enough evidence to even arrest him. That had nothing to do with his company or fans shielding him. Don't know what is going to happen in this case since it involves selling, but Psy should be proof that an arrest for using drugs is not a complete death to a career in Korea.

    ReplyDelete
  104. "Bury him."

-sighs- it's over for him, huh?

    ReplyDelete
  105. I can't stress this enough. If you're going tell weed, don't get caught.

    ReplyDelete
  106. C'mon guys.. we don't even know why he sells marijuana.. he obviously knows that he has to end his idol life once he gets found out.. and also his weird answer is suspicious too

    ReplyDelete
  107. Whenever we see articles about him all the comments will be "nugu drug dealer" or some shit like that.

    ReplyDelete
  108. I would laugh if it was a bunch of actors and actresses. I wonder what the response would be then. Shit's about to get rocked either way.

    ReplyDelete
  109. Imo, everyone who sells drugs are not good person because they are helping to ruin other people life because of money.

    ReplyDelete
  110. Pffft. The one person you can be sure it is NOT is GD. I'm sure he had to take a drug test every time he reentered Korea from one of his overseas concerts.

    ReplyDelete
  111. What an idiot guy.

    ReplyDelete
  112. Sigh.. That was a stupid thing to do, but I feel sorry for him. He's got a tough road ahead, but it doesn't have to be the end of his career. Just look at Psy.

    ReplyDelete
  113. OMG Jaejoong, run

    ReplyDelete
  114. Thanks what happens when your high profile and relevant. There have been quite a number of MJ busts before GD but these commentors are either too young or those people were not relevant to be remembered.
GD has many blessings to count.

    ReplyDelete
  115. LMAO I think selling is much worse than smoking marijuana

    ReplyDelete
  116. i bet he's making more money selling marijuana than being an idol.

    ReplyDelete
  117. Its like anything (e.g. cigs and alcohol) is all about the quantity you take in the amount of time you take it and some people may be more prone to its negative side effects. However I do agree that instead of promoting media hysteria it would be better for everyone to promote the actual facts and let laws and personal judgement be better informed. Going hard on things that are illegal is understandable but some people reactions show they've been given false information and that irks me more.

    ReplyDelete
  118. Doesn't make sense to me. He made gurupop and Pops in Seoul.

    ReplyDelete
  119. Marijuana is not an energy booster but it makes you extremely tired and relaxed. Not sure if it's really a good idea to smoke it if you have less than 5 minutes to sleep. lol

    ReplyDelete
  120. Also sellers, if their doing it as a means to make ends will probably target and encourage new yours. If his suppliers is giving him a quote and he feels the pressure to sell than that is when you get the spiralling problem of seeking out younger addicts. He might have been used for his access to a large number of young idols (kids with money and a lot of pressure) by his supplier to increase their market.

    ReplyDelete
  121. I wonder how many people talk shits about GD and still enjoying to his music, SUPPORTERS >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> HATERS

    ReplyDelete
  122. Now, Let's see your proof.

    ReplyDelete
  123. Marijuana is the wrong drug to take if you need an energy boost. LMAO.

    ReplyDelete
  124. True dat. I bet the idol job was just a side hustle to cover his shit. His real job is selling high-grade weed.

    ReplyDelete
  125. Ok bro on my way, thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  126. Somehow I have a feeling that its true. I find it so dumb that Daniel said about not knowing the consequences of dealing with marijuana and he himself wants to pay the full consequences. JUST MY THOUGHTS, somehow celebrities are involved and as soon as this case has beern revealed, they quickly settle it with Daniel. E.g settling with money and telling him to shut his mouth

    ReplyDelete
  127. "Selling is worse than smoking because you're ruining the lives of others.''
    There.

    Daniel, is an idiot.

    ReplyDelete
  128. .. really? i bet is yoochun lol

    ReplyDelete
  129. since GD's been busted once he probably has to do a test everyday he comes back from a overseas schedule (or at least thats how it works in other countries) and MJ sticks to you like glue if you smoke it heavily. Not to mention GD& BigBang are YG's biggest cash asset and after one scare I don't think their off the leash as much as the impression is.

    ReplyDelete
  130. yes, but its a way more socially acceptable drug, with less repercussions if you end up abusing it. Not saying that smoking weed is ok, just that comparatively alcohol's effect is often more ruinous

    ReplyDelete
  131. Daniel wasn't selling drugs. It was mistranslated by allkpop. He was just the middleman. http://delphinites.tumblr.com/post/45191391534

    ReplyDelete
  132. Some people are 'forced' into it though, say if their family have fallen into a bad way with the supplier/paying off debt. Without knowing the details of motive you can't really decide on the quality of a person's personality fairly. If he was just selling because he needed cash and didn't think it would be a big deal and that is the be all and end all well he's just silly and quite selfish. If he was doing it on the incentive that he knew of vulnerable minded idols who he could manipulate into starting or taking advantage of current addicts then he'd quite poor characters and if he was doing it for a friend in trouble/felt emotionally obliged etc than it might be a bad case of a good person in the wrong crowd.

  133. Straight to my bias list from now on.

    ReplyDelete
  134. Could be both lol

    ReplyDelete
  135. I wonder which other idols sell drugs to survive... I did know that some of rookies idols sell their bodies but know they also sell drugs. What a shady entertainment DDD:

    ReplyDelete
  136. I wonder which heads will fall... And I notice that every months, there will be a huge scandal (with idols or entertainment's members). I wonder who will fall next month.

    ReplyDelete
  137. I really liked him but I'm not sticking by his side nor am I going to forgive him. He brought this on himself so he needs to pay the consequences. I just hope he wasn't selling weed to other kpop artists.

    ReplyDelete
  138. This people don't get it that is some media thing this drug stuff... They're normal people and drugs, *legal or not* make part of people's lives.

Is his life and there's nothing wrong with. Since he's not forcing anyone to take drugs or buy his drugs or his albums.

GD and Bigbang did it TWICE BETTER after the incident and now GD except for the SHITTY IDIOTS AND RETARDS that think he's 12 years old forever and don't have a dick or a life, everyone in VIP fandom is totally ok with. Since he's still awesome, genius and all the common nicknames for him and for what he does that have some matter for some people here. Music.

    ReplyDelete
  139. Damn, Dalmatian can't catch a break.

    ReplyDelete
  140. lol why...he's already been in a drug scandal

I WANT NEW SHOCKING NAMES....like taemin lol

    ReplyDelete
  141. "retards" ....................... oh

    ReplyDelete
  142. nah, jaejoong i suspect is drowning himself in them soju bottles and rice wine right about now. Look at the dilated eyes and eye puffiness on this guy. He stay up on that bottle shit. Fans better send him some aa and cbt pamphlets.

    ReplyDelete
  143. I love jaejoong but I laughed

    ReplyDelete
  144. "1. [+100, -8] Selling and introduction ㅋㅋㅋ What does he think, he's 1 or 2 years old? How in the world could he not have thought that was a crime? ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ"

really...1 or 2 years old...that's the age group you're going with?

    ReplyDelete
  145. gotta hustle to get that money $$$
nugu idol money can't cut it

    ReplyDelete
  146. But the only reason why they forgave Psy is because he hit it big. Unless some miracle happens & DMTN does the same they're officially screwed =[

    ReplyDelete
  147. What are the odds that these guys, barely holding onto nugu-idol category to create something like GS to be repented instantly.

    ReplyDelete
  148. i don't know if what i just read it's true or not but it seems that he wasn't the seller but he was the one who introduced the seller to the buyer....

    ReplyDelete
  149. He's American. Dalmates are kind of freaking out that he might get his ass deported back to LA over this.

    ReplyDelete
  150. Even if he has korean citizenship (which I don't think he does - he's from LA and his entire family still lives there), he's blown the same knee out twice in the last couple of years. I don't know what that would mean for his military service (for their Safety Zone performances, he was taking the brace off his leg only long enough to get through the stage). I'd heard it was a torn ligament.

    ReplyDelete
  151. Daniel is my ultimate bias so seeing this is seriously disappointing. He didn't think it would be a crime if he didn't smoke it? Come on Daniel you know way better than that. I thought he would be smart enough to know that selling is worse. Sorry Daniel I'll always support you but this is your fault.

    ReplyDelete
  152. i don't think there will be a second season. did they even collect enough money? btw he's a host in showbiz korea or another entertainment show like that

    ReplyDelete
  153. he's going to get deported

    ReplyDelete
  154. The police probably knows who bought it, so I'm sure some companies will have to pay a big note just to some of their idols not be mentioned in the next investigations releases.

    ReplyDelete
  155. GD & Seungri, ok, check. But why TOP is in your list? Just wonder.

    ReplyDelete
  156. Yeah when you grow up on the United States, you already know how weed is, even if you've never smoked it. You're always hearing about how people get high and how it's illegal. That's definitely very bad on Daniels part. But yeah, if Daniels selling it, other celebrities are definitely involved too but he's the only one getting the heat.

    ReplyDelete
  157. From what I've read so far, he did not use marijuana and he did not sell marijuana, but his mistake was to introduce a dealer to a consumer, that's why they say "he helped" to sell MJ... Kinda like "Hey Daniel, do you know where can I get some weed? Yes, this guy i know..." I guess...

Anyway, we know how journalists like to exaggerate things and play with words to get more clicks... So we should wait for the full case to be revealed to start throwing stones at him...

    ReplyDelete
  158. Ahh,i see.. Thank you :)

    ReplyDelete
  159. sounds to me marijuana is good for restless people lol which makes sense considering how some of their schedule can last to the a.ms most of the week. whatever it is this statement did not come officially from him. i read off twitter apparently daniel did not deal nor smoke, he was the middleman.
come to think of it kpop can't be as clean as u thought it to be. thank goodness for precautionary measure or kpop might end up like the bad side of hollywood.

    ReplyDelete
  160. booster, relaxer, whatever. i don't have to know what drugs can do to you lol

    ReplyDelete
  161. "G-Dragon: I didn't know it was marijuana."

What makes it sound wrong then? I don't know how marijuana tastes too :/

    ReplyDelete
  162. no wonder he has so many celebrity friends???

    ReplyDelete
  163. alcohol is actually worst than marijuana if you think about it. stoners just sit around and do nothing, while being drunk you're wild incoherent hot mess.

    ReplyDelete
  164. Thats the same offence as drug dealing

    ReplyDelete
  165. The only thing i see wrong with marijuana is that it tends to lead people, who do them socially, into heavier drugs. That's why i think it should be legalize and lose some of it's appeal.

    ReplyDelete
  166. exactly my point.

    ReplyDelete
  167. I´m not surprised by his explanation, it´s as "clever" as GD´s :-))

    ReplyDelete
  168. Wait, he didn't think selling it would be a crime...........Is he retarded or something. lol

    ReplyDelete
  169. "he didn't think it would become a crime if he didn't smoke it himself"

you have got to be fucking kidding me....

    ReplyDelete
  170. First boyband drug trafficker?
Well, when it's time to join you fellow criminals, don't drop the soap!

    ReplyDelete
  171. GD would have a smarter dealer then this

    ReplyDelete
  172. Im soo dissapointed in him.. He is like on of my top bias in kpop and this really dissapointed me, I was sad for half an hour (I dont know why I care so much)

    ReplyDelete
  173. yea exactly. Alcohol helps exacerbate violent behavior and is a common cause for assaults (sexual assaults included). The law simply isn't a good guide for morality; if governments are this tough on weed, they would do better to be more serious about alcohol. But of course since alcohol is so ingrained in most cultures, nothing much is going to be done about that.

    ReplyDelete
  174. to clarify mistranslations.
[Daniel’s marijuana scandal] just need to clear this up.

Based on 2works’s announcement, Daniel did NOT smoke marijuana (he went through all the necessary tests and the result was NEGATIVE) and neither did he sell them DIRECTLY. He was, you can say, the middleman in a way, introducing the sellers and buyers so he did NOT touch the drugs in any way at all. (not saying that he should have even been doing that in the first place) So yes, while he is charged with “selling” them, he did not have any contact with the drugs, let alone consume them.

i really need to emphasize this fact because while Daniel is definitely not innocent and did commit the crime, the extent of the crime matters a great deal as well. And also I’m just so sick of seeing the wrong information being thrown around here and elsewhere. Especially on akp. It’s not funny to be joking around and choosing popcorn flavours in the comments section on an article which doesn’t even concern you okay.

Also what I’ve said above has been confirmed by a native Korean translator so PLEASE do not fuel the words of news sites which simply say that Daniel smoked and sold weed because HE DID NOT.

    ReplyDelete
  175. you forgot Daesung there, and if bad hair was a crime then Taeyang would be on that list lol

    .

    .

    .

oh wait, then we got all of Big Bang members on that list now ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

    ReplyDelete
  176. Haha.. you would be right if you could plan as to how long you are going to be relaxed but once you're on the weed you are relaxed and stuff.. then suddenly have to urge to eat a lot.. and then you just want to sleep. lol however, after waking up it feels like a bus has driven over you. XD A few times. XD

middleman or whatever.. his career is done for. at least for the next 1~2 years.... ~_~

    ReplyDelete
  177. not gonna change the fact that the knetizens are gonna curse him and he needs to disappear to 'reflect' as to how they call idols crawling into the cave after doing such a 'bad bad bad' thing. xD

    ReplyDelete
  178. One article states the crime occurred back in Sept - Dec 2012. Something else must have happened to be arrested now.

    ReplyDelete
  179. He introduced people to sellers. He didn't directly sell it himself.

    ReplyDelete
  180. I give you a hint: In its smoked form it does not taste like, smell like, and rather seldom look like a cigarette.
Still slightly more believable excuse than the drug trafficking guys, though

    ReplyDelete
  181. And T-ara probably, they probably drug themselves before they have to do sexual favours for their sponsors and KKS...

    ReplyDelete
  182. I wonder what the netizens will say if WonBin turned out to be one of his regular customers. lol

    ReplyDelete
  183. GD and Seungri keeps using drugs, it's not a crime to smoke marijuana, many artists do it around the world.

    ReplyDelete
  184. aiyaya this kid is playing dumb! how can you not know... just, facepalm. selling it is worse than smoking it!

goodbye to his career in showbiz?

    ReplyDelete
  185. ... Well for many parts of the world it actually is a crime to smoke marijuana. Many artists do it, yes, but they're not caught.

    ReplyDelete
  186. 5. [+23, -8] GD: Welcome, this is your first time here, right?

    LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    ReplyDelete
  187. Honestly..I just crossed him off from my bias list....the comment below shows my feelings:

    6. [+14, -2] People who sell marijuana normally don't smoke it themselves... They know it's bad but they also know there's a lot of money involved. But guys who sell are worse than those who smoke it!

    ReplyDelete
  188. Umm not to say anything but have u ever seen A LONE drug dealer?...yeah I'd shut my fucking mouth too!
People who deal with drugs don't play...

    ReplyDelete
  189. No he won't cause then the celebs will spill on the MAIN source,it'll be like a chain reaction...from the moment he spills lets just say if u hear "Danny has been hospitalised (insert bullshit reason here)" you'll know...
