Crying Nut redirects lawsuit against CNBLUE despite Mnet aribtration

As revealed previously, Mnet announced that they would be mediating between Crying Nut and FNC/CNBLUE's lawsuit as well as take full responsibility for the DVD release in question.

Crying Nut has come out to say that they will go ahead with their lawsuit specifically against CNBLUE because "the responsibility of the issue lies with CNBLUE." They said that Mnet has already compensated them for the use of "Offside" without permission as well as the DVD release. Their issue with CNBLUE is for using the AR of "Offside" "as if it were their own live performance sound and thus misleading the audience and viewers of the DVD into believing it is their own song. It is a blatant violation of our song's copyright."

1. [+594, -44] I don't think Crying Nut is going forward with the lawsuit just for the money itself... I think they expected a genuine apology and got upset when all FNC did was make excuses by blaming Mnet.

2. [+528, -43] It's not a first offense but a second offense.. Even if Mnet admitted to their offense, I can see why they'd be pissed off seeing their juniors not give any apology. I'd be pissed too if they were looking down on my band and the issue just because we were indie and refuse to put their heads down and apologize when it's the second time this issue has come up.

1. [+49, -18] The people at fault are CNBLUE, FNC, and Mnet. Why is this article taking down Crying Nut? Is this media play? Did this journalist receive some backdoor cash?

3. [+30, -7] Crying Nut and CNBLUE are both victims in this lawsuit. As someone who enjoys band music, I just hope that they settle the matter promptly. Mnet needs to step up because they're the ones at fault, I don't see why the victims are going head to head in this.
