ReplyDeletebut it's not a public broadcast, queen in hyun's man is a tvn drama which is a cable channel, people have to pay if they want to have the channel on their television. public broadcast include MBC, SBS, and KBS.

ReplyDeleteWell now I'm probably going to watch it because Yoo In Na is amazing in everything she has done so far...I'm hoping her character overrides Suzy's and has a better storyline...there are times when the supporting character get more love than the actual lead. Like SS, Song Joong Ki and Yo Ah In were more amusing then Micky and Park Min Young. They even won best couple award ^_^

ReplyDeleteI think it's pretty stupid to label anyone the lead in a family drama since their is like a zillion characters. Unless its someone like Kim nam joo. But something is very wrong when you have yoo in ah an actual actress susposedly playing a supporting where u have an idol with one little side character to her name playing the lead....that's wrong on many diff levels also its also very wrong when your have only 6 months ago u have daesung winner Kim nam joo also playing a lead in the same time slot and 6 months later u have a nugu in the acting sphere playing the lead

But these pairings are trending look at.lee seung gi an suzy too... It may or not work... Ranting about it wont change a thing and u can still change th channel.if u are that disturbed by the casting...

ReplyDeleteI'm kind of disappointed in the casting. IU deserves redemption after her scandal, but she doesn't deserve a lead role in a golden time-slot. Not yet. Even if she's didn't fare too badly in Dream High, her experience and her skills are nowhere on par with Yoo Inna's and Jo Jungsuk's. Besides, the age difference is weirding me out. I probably wouldn't care so much if IU were older, but she's barely an adult, and Jo Jungsuk's nearing his mid-30s. Yoo Inna is much closer to his age, and they'd probably look better together...

The lead role is a young girl who wants to be a singer. Thats IU. Not a 30 year old who has never sang before. Thats why you have someone cast people. If Yoo In NA wanted a lead role she would of had a better agent and/or chosen a different drama. Either way this won't be her last drama and shes with her bf and has a job right now. Get over it.

Why are people bitching so much about this? if Yoo In Na is truly a GREAT ACTRESS (Which I know she is) she will still be noticed for her great acting even whatever character she plays. No character is great nor too little as long as you do you character justice you will still get attention. And lastly the character completely fits IU which is a young girl trying hard to be a singer. Yoo In Na neither is a young girl nor a singer I'd consider your argument if it was Park Bo Young at least since she can look so young, has full of aegyo and lastly can SING...people who is butthurt about this situation needs to understand that the LEAD ACTRESS needs to sing... which IU can do . As a fan of IU I do know that she is still lacking in acting skills and if somebody was to ever get this lead role I still think it's IU or Park Bo Young for the character not Yoo In Na...

ReplyDeleteno need for all this negative responses. i always think that one should give it their all and see what the results are. after all, no one becomes an expert w/o experiences and how does one gain experience? why by doing of course. let the girl gain some more experiences. everyone seems to be a critic and they seem to think that they know better than the experts who actually cast the parts. let people do their job. they have more experience and they actually got to see the auditions unlike the netizens.
yes Eunji could also be a great fit for the character and I also considered it at first BUT she is currently on a drama so it's either IU or Park Bo Young for me
ReplyDeleteThere are plenty of actresses who can sing though. Plus we don't actually know if Yoo In Na can sing, we just know that singing isn't her main career. I actually agree with the netizens for once. I like IU and I actually think she might turn out to be a pretty good actress, but I think it's unfair for the idols to keep taking the leading roles away from the actors/actresses who have been training and waiting for their chance.
