Soyeon noticed another singer named Sua wearing a 'Kenzo' t-shirt, which is how the convo begins (Yoon Ina is another actress):

They were saying that because YEH was also bullied by her group members like Hwayoung, and yet she went through and ended up as a successful actress while other Baby Vox members lost their popularity. So K-netizens wanted Hwayoung to end up the same as YEH.

I think more idol-actors need to have her mindset. They really DON'T deserve the roles they get, and they know it. But the difference between idol-actors like Yoona, Sulli, and Minho (who suck no matter what they do) and Yoon Eun Hye is that she worked really hard to earn the right to be called an actress. She gave up being an idol and focused solely on acting.
Idol-actors are really only in dramas to promote their groups. Even if they have some interest in acting, their main career goal is to succeed as an idol. Really selfish, IMO.
Eun Hye dealt with the criticism like an adult and now everyone loves her.

ReplyDeleteyoonhae was six years idol before she entered acting, while yoona debuted idol and singer in the same year. sulli was already actress before she entered acting, and minho debuted acting in his third year as idol. yoonhae just ended her career in idol because that is the best thing she could do. we all know that being idol doesn't last forever especially that she admitted she can't sing. six years as idol was unsatisfactory for her so she dropped it and pursued in acting. contrary to what you want to impose, she did not gave up on idol because she really wanted to become actress, but she gave up prior to bigger breaks.

YEH wasn't bullied. i think she got hate from netizens because she was lacking as a singer. and when she started to do acting, there was alot of prejudice cos she was a singer turned actress. she struggled to gain credibility as an actress and got criticised alot. she's obviously come a long way from those days because everyone seems to love her now.

ReplyDeleteeverybody is different though. Some like myself do try to give idols second, third chances. But sometimes, it's too much to deal with the drama, so they wanna leave. It's just a difference of opinion and decisions. Nothing wrong with that
ReplyDeleteSometime I think that there should be some level for any group in kpop to be called as an 'IDOL'..or else just call them a sing group or a singer and not to call them as an idol group or idol..how can they be an idol with this kind of attitude..ok, forget about any actress that they talking about cos as far as I know, talking behind itself is a not a good example to give to the fan..
