1. [+166, -55] I heard Super Junior songs are all trash, is that true?
- They're not recyclable either...
- I've been a fan of Suju for 7 years and I agree, their songs are trash because of that Yoo Young Jin ba$tard. He needs to be kicked out of SM. Any song not written by him is really good ^^
- Basically, Young Jin needs to screw off
- All of their title songs are sh*t but some of their other songs are decent
- To put it more specifically, Yoo Young Jin is the trash
- Don't be so harsh, why use the word trash? Call it poop.
- Their title songs just don't appeal to the public.
- Their title songs are pretty bad but if you check out their other songs, they have a decent array of genres and self compositions.

2. [+112, -30] Honestly, who buys these albums other than stupid fangirls? Regular people aren't fans so why would they purchase the album to listen to it? They sold a lot of albums so they deserve to win the award. You can ask any singer whether they would rather release a digital or an album, and they'll all say album. In the end, you have to acknowledge that they sold a lot of albums.

3. [+79, -27] I don't know why people blame the state of award ceremonies on fandoms. Before there was a digital market, it was easy for any artist to sell over a hundred thousand copies of their albums. But after the digital age, people either download illegally or listen to it online so if you're not an idol, you can basically kiss the top 20 rank goodbye. That's how far album sales have dropped.

I heard, however, that Super Junior barely sold 300,000 copies despite their #1 win. The public is bigger than their fandom. Why isn't the public buying the albums of more deserving artists in the time they're complaining? All of the idols ranking in the top 20 right now have barely sold a few thousand albums.

The weight of the blame all goes to the public. It is not the fact that we don't have any deserving artists, and it is not the fact that idols sell well. Quite simply, the public is just not buying albums anymore. The only people this benefits are idols.

If the Golden Disk awards based on album sales and Super Junior met the criteria, then I don't give a crap about anything about their talents or skills because in the end, it's the numbers and results that matter. I really don't know why we netizens insist on tiring our fingers over arguing over this every year come award ceremony season.

(TN: tl;dr The only ones to blame if you're not satisfied with the award is the public because they didn't buy enough albums and left it to the fandoms to decide)
