A Pink's Eunji on the chopping block for traffic law violation

Article: "Jung Eunji thoughtless!" criticisms galore over her hanging a bag of oranges outside her window

Source: Kuki News via Nate

Eunji updated A Pink's Me2day saying that her oranges were too warm to eat because they were on top of the engine so "I decided to let them cool off with some outside air. Don't worry, I tied them tightly."

1. [+801, -36] That's a violation of traffic laws. What she did was really dangerous;;; If that bag had ripped, the oranges could've caused an accident with the cars behind them. On the highway, even a scrap of tissue paper can turn into a murderous weapon. I'm absolutely horrified that she not only tied a bag of oranges to her van but even thought to take a proof picture of it. From the North Korean flag to Challenge 1000 Songs and now this... She disappoints me more and more. (TN: In 2011, Eunji held a North Korean flag at the Chuseok athletics championship, which is illegal/a violation of the national security law)

2. [+732, -25] Considering it was the highway, the bag could've ripped and the oranges could've caused an accident to the cars behind her. She should be ashamed.

3. [+246, -12] Why are idols so thoughtless? Jung Eunji is totally in the wrong for this.

4. [+160, -25] A brainless bi*ch

5. [+139, -3] To everyone saying this is not big of a deal, not only is this a violation of traffic laws, but imagine what could've happened if the bag ripped and the oranges flew at someone's windshields? That could've caused a huge car accident. It's not only oranges, but anything on the highway is cause for a potential accident.

1. [+770, -30] My face is heating up because I'm so embarrassed for her. This is why celebrities should always think before they write or speak. She might've thought this was cute and even thought to take a selca for it but imagine how embarrassed she was to find out later what a thoughtless action this was

2. [+676, -28] Her image is peeling just like the skin of an orange

3. [+688, -43] Why in the world would anyone upload a picture like that? I was starting to like her after 1997 but now she's bordering dangerous territory... It's so easy to lose everything you worked for with one mistake. Get your head on right and be careful. Those oranges could've broken a windshield with the conditions on the highway.

4. [+149, -2] SNS is seriously a useless device to one's life

5. [+132, -7] First on Challenge 1000 songs and now this? Why doesn't she ever use her brain?

Source:

1. [+308, -17] Celebrities without any brains are bound to expose how dumb they are and dig their own graves through SNS

2. [+260, -13] How thoughtless is she to think to smile and upload it on an SNS?

3. [+244, -13] Thoughtless child

  3. Oh lawd...not Eunji. She's A Pink's only hope at having a decent and relevant comeback this year. D:

But that was pretty stupid of her to do. I don't care how tightly she tied them, the second that bag ripped, those oranges could've caused major car accidents, especially on a highway. Considering she's on strike 3, I wonder how she'll recover after this.

  4. Am I the only one who sees the humour in this?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Idiot. What if the bag had tore? You'd be in more trouble than you are now.

    ReplyDelete
  6. Why new idols keep destroying their images like this?
I prefer it when they were too much careful.. I know they weren't comfortable but at least they won't do stupid things..

  8. why would she have them on top of the engine though? that wasn't a smart move either

  11. Supposedly she was being very obnoxious and rude to the other guests on the show by trying to hog the microphone and taking the microphone out of a senior's hands while he was singing. I personally think it was all in jest but of course, whenever your seniors are involved, there's a very high chance of being thought of as disrespectful/rude if you try to act too playful.

  14. Not cute or funny. Dang girl, use your brain if you have one. It's 2013, such things as refrigerators are already invented.

  15. Oh Eunji, I love you but that really isn't a smart thing to do. In a sense I kinda see the humor in this (a controversy with oranges), but I also see how this could've been a terrible incident with the cars driving behind her (broken windshields). Oh well this will pass as with every controversy that comes out with idols, hope Eunji isn't too hurt by the comments though.

  16. she could've put it like that just to snap the picture though...you never know, people are so harsh i don't really get it, everyone makes mistakes, the fact she's an idol doesn't mean she's supposed to be perfect. calling her a slut or brainless because of that it's just childish and ridiculous.

    ReplyDelete
  17. NOO go back to allkpop you stupid fangirl.

    ReplyDelete
  18. ikr, I was hoping she'll help A Pink to get their shot at relevancy this year... But now this happens and it can't be denied that she's at fault here :(

    ReplyDelete
  19. lol what fangirl..he's part of the allkpop staff lmao

    ReplyDelete
  20. Male idols are usually idiots as well.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Granted I know this was a rather silly decision on EunJi's part (She love her though, only reason I like Apink), but I'm bothered that netizens are always bringing up idols image. It's like idols are suppose to be flaw free, angelic people who can't have mistakes or their career is over.

  22. (TN: In 2011, Eunji held a North Korean flag at the Chuseok athletics
championship, which is illegal/a violation of the national security law)

    Why would she do that?

    ReplyDelete
  23. but the other cars are moving so even if she only put them out for a few seconds it was still dangerous.

    ReplyDelete
  24. ...Did she think that was cute? What?

    ReplyDelete
  25. On the highway, even a scrap of tissue paper can turn into a murderous weapon

lol I dunno about that. But dumb idea to hang your oranges outside. Who even does that...

    ReplyDelete
  26. her expression in the first pic sums up what would happen if the oranges fall out and crash into someone's windshield "oops, i dint mean it kekeke"

    ReplyDelete
  27. as much as we enjoy some selcas and posts on twitter and else, the companies should totally ban social media for idols...

    ReplyDelete
  28. If it flies onto the windshield in a manner that obstructs the view of the driver it can be dangerous.

    ReplyDelete
  29. It could just a second or two for the bag to rip and oranges to fly all over the road.. Yes idols make mistakes as well, but in cases like this, a fair amount of criticism isn't bad. Calling her names may be uncalled for, but just saying "that wasn't a smart move, you shouldn't do it" isn't bad

    ReplyDelete
  30. trying to take down the competion.

    ReplyDelete
  31. lol jhonny.....why are you here????

    ReplyDelete
  32. i wonder if her manager (the person i assume to be driving) told her to take it out afterwards. Eunji, please. anyway, she'll probably genuinely apologize. she probably feels really dumb right now. aw man, just imagining how dumb she probably feels makes me feel (kind of) bad. took a picture to look cute then everyone's like "nope, that isn't cute. it's idiotic you brainless girl." that's a horrible feeling. but, it could have been avoided with things like ~common sense~. i'm not familiar with many road laws but that's just one of those things you /should/ know.

...why did these oranges end up in so many places they shouldn't have been? on top the engine, outside the window....

    ReplyDelete
  33. what would she have said if the bag ripped and caused a car accident??

    ReplyDelete
  34. the bag of oranges can led to accident, what if it ripped and some motorcyclist came from behind at the same time, it can flew over to nearby car too
    she should be more thoughtful

    ReplyDelete
  35. netizenbuzz is becoming a threat to akp. i still go there but lately, it seems like delusional fans is all that is left in there.

    ReplyDelete
  36. NB, can't you ban this user?

    ReplyDelete
  37. That was seriously really stupid.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Just imagine what the netizens would say if they actually did break.

    ReplyDelete
  39. Go back to allkpop -_______- you don't belong here.

    ReplyDelete
  40. So, since she violates traffic law, are the netizens gonna call the police? lol

    ReplyDelete
  41. That's really stupid... and why would she take a picture of it..

    ReplyDelete
  42. wow that's what I call shooting yourself on the foot

    ReplyDelete
  43. Eunji, I adore your beautiful voice and your pretty face, but really...
how could you think that doing that waseven considered cute? How old are you? I truly cannot
understand how you interpret the word 'CUTE'. :(

    ReplyDelete
  44. "TN: In 2011, Eunji held a North Korean flag at the Chuseok athletics championship, which is illegal/a violation of the national security law)" ....WHY

but seriously how dumb is she to brag about this on sns?

    ReplyDelete
  45. oh wow! i usually see SUJUmake13ELIEVE in akp trolling n trying to start fan wars.Seems like he/she found another blog to troll. Is he/she really part of akp staff, like someone mentioned?
We'll he/she seems to be quite infamous among us international netizens :)

    ReplyDelete
  46. "This is why celebrities should always think before they write or speak" or post pics

    ReplyDelete
  47. trust me, lately even here are filled with trashy comments which aren't any better than delusional ones. just as annoying i would say.

    ReplyDelete
  48. It obviously was a pretty thoughtless thing to do but to call her names like 'brainless bitch' is just completely uncalled for. Everyone makes mistakes, so she will learn from it and netizens should move on. It would be really ridiculous if people kept harping on her for this but it'll likely happen anyways...

    ReplyDelete
  49. Does anyone know why she held a North Korean flag in the past?

    ReplyDelete
  50. She could have been called worst stuff if that bag happened to torn up and caused an unfortunate accident.

    ReplyDelete
  51. She's just a kid who did something a little reckless. It wasn't the smartest thing to do but damn, people are taking this a bit overboard. I've seen kids her age do a hell of a lot worse, and yes that includes celebrities.

    ReplyDelete
  52. this is why you need to have a strong personality to be an idol. i hope she has a good head on her shoulders because if I was eunji and reading those comments, i wouldn't know what to do with myself. i'd probably committ suicide or something. no wonder the suicide rates in south korea are so high. there's so much pressure to be perfect, especially for idols

    ReplyDelete
  53. Everyone should've learned this lesson from IU, tbh.

    ReplyDelete
  54. She's 19 years old (and 20 years old in Korean age which makes her an adult).

Definitely old enough to know better.

    ReplyDelete
  55. At least we don't have to sift through 500 comments anymore. There are only about 200 comments on one article, max. And those are usually about JYJ or DBSK.

    ReplyDelete
  56. She is so stupid lmao, with no manners too still remember that incident where she disrespected and injured the Olympian athlete. Learn some tact gurl

    ReplyDelete
  57. i've seen some worse traffic violations. not turning on your signal, speeding, cutting without turning on your signal, driving too close to the car in front of you, drunk driving, driving through a red light, etc. the list goes on and on. comparing a bag of oranges to this is laughable at the most. take care of all your drunk drivers in south korea and horrible driving skills before commenting on this sort of shit and blowing it up.

    ReplyDelete
  58. It is time to restrict idols from using social media sites. Twitter, Cyworld, Me2Day, etc. No more.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm not a fan of APink but some people are seriously overreacting... I feel bad for her.

    ReplyDelete
  60. I'm trying to figure out why in hell she posted such stupid thing. She knew it was wrong (I believe she's not THAT stupid to not know), she should have kept to herself. -_-

    ReplyDelete
  61. Don't tell me your surprised about an allkpop staff being a jackass

    ReplyDelete
  62. CHICA, ERES IDIOTA!!!

    ReplyDelete
  63. Unnie didn't mean it!
aw the fans protecting her lmao. You guys should thank the lucky stars that the bag had some super power strength to not be ripped off from the car and have the oranges fly out towards the car or hell a motorcycle behind that could have caused an accident.

What she did was fucking stupid and to top that off take a proof selca thinking that it was cute? She is being called out for it and rightfully deserves all the heat. How quick of her company to apologize for her but Eunji herself should have acted the adult and apologized for her stupidity herself.

    ReplyDelete
  64. The company apologized over a phone call with a media company, so I'm assuming that particular media company called them about it. Maybe Eunji will apologize, who knows

    ReplyDelete
  65. IT'S TIME TO REFLECT EUNJI GO BACK TO YOUR CORNER.
That's like sticking your hand out the window, bitches needa get slapped. Don't QQ when you act stupidd. YOU A GROWN ASS FEMALE toooooo TT^TT

  67. stupidity at its best O_O

  68. There goes her image. Just few months ago, she was all hyped for her drama, and the next 'it' girl expectation.

    ReplyDelete
  69. i like your theory :)

    ReplyDelete
  70. maybe she's the master of trolls. lol idk i find her "thoughtless" actions funny tbh

    ReplyDelete
  71. funny comments, like nobody who wrote here did anything wrong in their entire life or rather would be without any toughtless moments for moment zero until you die. You are idiots and i just wait for the moment until you make something "stupid" and btw. grow up!

    ReplyDelete
  72. maybe she doesn't know that it is North Korean flag that she held (?)

    ReplyDelete
  73. Why do you guys bash the idols? We are all human and we all make mistakes. Don't tell me you've never done something in your life that you regret.
