There are way more plastic looking idols in companies other than SM and you know it (Especially a certain almost 30 year old in a group about being yourself)

I completely agree with you. I love their charismatic personalities, and their stage personas. They may not be the most attractive girls out there...but when I first saw their videos I for sure fell in love with their attitudes and then 2ne1 tv did it for me...they were beautiful inside and out...they really shone. I've always like the JYP girls and how down to earth they come off as. Not to say SM artist aren't pretty, they are...but the only person I really like in SNSD is Hyoyeon and the person I find the most attractive is Yuri, but I do like f(x) unique style as well. I think overall its quite sad that all these comments seem to care about its BEAUTY. No one is beautiful...I would think the underdogs would be looked highly upon, taking into consideration the amount of PS many idols have to go through to get that image and I'm sure many koreans are not drop dead gorgeous. I really wish people would love themselves for who they are.
